Casey Anthony Case, Murder of 34 month old Caylee Update - States Attorney’s Office: We are done Playin’ Footsie, It’s a Match. Jose Baez Hospitalized - UPDATE: DOCUMENT HAILSTORM TOMORROW

Posted by Blink | Casey Anthony, Caylee Anthony Case | Tuesday 17 February 2009 11:03 pm

On Monday February 16, the State’s Attorney’s office released over 1000 pages of new discovery evidence to the defense. The  public release  is scheduled for mid week.  I spoke exclusively to an inside source within the 9th Circuit offices, and was advised that the prints on the duct tape match that of Caylee’s Mother and the woman charged with her murder, Casey Marie Anthony.

There is little doubt given that finding the death penalty will be back on the table post haste.

(SEE UPDATE AT END OF ARTICLE)

Over the weekend, lead defense attorney to Casey Anthony, Jose Baez, was self-hospitalized with a stomach ailment and released. Mr. Baez returned to work on Monday and requests for further information from his spokesperson Marti Mackenzie, were not returned.

It is unclear if Mr. Baez ailment is related to the confirmation from the Florida Bar of a new complaint/inquiry currently being investigated regarding his activity as a member, or the released 1000+ documents released to his office, further implicating his Client.

The Beginning of the End

Several sources close to The Baez law Firm indicate this is the ACT I of the “Beginning of the End” for Jose Baez as lead counsel for Casey Anthony.  There are conflicting reports as to whether Linda Kenney Baden may replace Baez as lead counsel, or that Jose Baez will withdraw citing health issues.

*UPDATE*

It was confirmed today that neither Jose Baez, nor any member of the defense team has visited Casey Anthony in jail in 8 days.  It was also confirmed through the Florida Bar Association, it received the sworn copy of the latest complaint/Inquiry regarding Mr. Baez, ref# 09-14647 on February 9, 2009, 8 days ago as well.

DOCUMENT HAILSTORM TOMORROW

Sources within the State’s Attorney’s office have confirmed the newest 500 pages of discovery evidence presented to the defense last Thursday, will be publicly released tomorrow morning. It is expected to outline the evidence recovered with Cay lee’s remains at Suburban and Chickasaw on Dec. 11, 2008, and the subsequent evidence taken from the Anthony home.  Additionally, we should not be surprised to see the personnel files of the lead detectives in this case as requested via Motion by Jose Baez.

Blink on Crime has reported its sources stating that partial fingerprints belonging to the accused, Casey Marie Anthony, have been found by the FBI on ductape found at the scene. While my source’s stand by that assertion, it will not be specifiied as a finding in tomorrow’s release. Blink on Crime will be reporting on the Discovery documents as they are made available.

I always thought there would be little doubt that Casey’s fingerprints would show up on the duct tape. I am sure there are multiple indicators for a match with Casey. Let’s not forget that hair, fibers, etc. may also appear on the duct tape, as well as the heart sticker. I wonder if they can match DNA from the saliva used on the heart sticker???

Looks like your new blog may be a great read. I’ll link to it as soon as that very annoying “this is not a joke” blinking thing leaves for good. It’s so distracting that it’s next to impossible to read anything.

No question, Casey is the perp.

This glass house the A family has built for themselves is about to shatter.

How dare they have the audacity to offer help and support to other families when they are in no position to do that. The levels of corruption and deceit in this case have been so blatant and disturbing..when all the while a little girl’s body lie rotting in a swamp.

Baez is biding his time to achieve the end result he wanted..fame and fortune. Linda B will now become first chair and the circus will continue.

Can’t wait to see if the new docs confirm some long held beliefs about this case and family.

    IMHO

Sources: Mother’s Fingerprints Not Found On Tape Over Caylee’s Skull
Slain Tot’s Mom Remains Jailed On Murder Charge

    POSTED: Monday, February 16, 2009
    UPDATED: 11:50 pm EST February 16, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. — Sources told Local 6 News Monday that no fingerprints were located on the duct tape found wrapped around the skull of Caylee Anthony.

Hundreds of pages of additional documents are expected to be released in the case against the slain toddler’s mother, Casey Anthony, as early as Tuesday. Anthony, 22, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in her daughter’s death.

Caylee’s remains were discovered in December in a wooded lot near the home she shared with her mother and grandparents. The girl’s skull was wrapped in duct tape, and sources told Local 6 News that sheriff’s investigators headed to the Anthony house the day the discovery was make, looking for evidence that might link Casey Anthony or items in the house to the crime scene.

Sources said the soon-to-be released documents will show that investigators never found a duct tape roll at the home but did find a similar piece of tape on a gasoline can in the house. Sources also told Local 6 News that FBI lab tests reveal no fingerprints were found on the duct tape.

Celebrity bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who has been involved with the case since he bailed Casey Anthony out of jail, claimed the opposite last week on national TV. A tabloid magazine also reported that Casey Anthony’s fingerprints were found on the tape.

Sources inside Casey Anthony’s defense team said they are “sick of Padilla’s lies” and want him to “go away.”

Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.

Hi Blink! We found you! Happy about that. Please clarify with your source about the fingerprints on the tape as multiple news sources are NOW reporting that NO fingerprints were found and you are being quoted as THE iron-clad PROOF that there were fingerprints so you may want to verify and if you get a chance…let us know over on Websleuths because we are going crazy with this thing over there! Come and visit sometimes-we all miss you!

My BFF’s from WS Hello and I have missed so many of you as well. Thank you for your kind wishes, I could not keep up this work without your support and encouragement. I look forward to your input and contributions. I am in awe of what we are able to accomplish collectively.

With regards to the Channel 6 article, all I can say is I have been wrong before, will be wrong again, but my source says her prints were found, partial, in more than on place. On this I am only as good as my source I am afraid.. It would definately give me ogida if I were her..

Over at Websleuths, some are taking the local 6 article as fact. Whatever, you can tell it was obviously written by someone sympathetic to Casey’s defense team.

  16. Comment by Blink34 — February 17, 2009 @ 1:18 pm

Not that this may be related or mean anything, but a reporter at channel 6 has told me on more than one occasion that they were forbidden to cover the Todd Black/Baez debacle.. Maybe the channel affiliation to the whole 20/20 issue? Dunno..

Your report is in direct conflict with Loca 6 Orlando
which is reporting NO fingerprints found on duct tape
    Can you explain?

  18. Comment by Broderick — February 17, 2009 @ 3:30 pm

According to wftv there were 500 pages released last week to the defense and another 1100 pages released Monday.

Everyone might be right as perhaps the 1100 pages don’t have the finger print information but the 500 pages already released do. Or vice versa.

Two days after Baez got the 500 pages he went into the hospital.

Hiya blink. I read a post at WS that there have been no logged visits to Casey by Baez or any member of his crew in 8 days. If this is the case, IMO it is very telling that this case is swelling beyond his capabilites. Just some food for thought. Make way for new lead council IMO.
    Regards,

Blink, very nice new home you have here. Any chance you’ve gotten that jingle-ling from our good friend LP? Not to rub it in, but we told him he wasn’t reading those tests correctly!!!

Actually of all things released from state, I’m glad they brought the paternity out to the public and stopped that very vile line of gossip. Anyone who thought Lee was relieved needs a check up. I’m sure he has other things on his mind and this was one thing he knew wasn’t going to come back to haunt him.

    All the best!!
