Hello everyone,
I have been following this case for quite some time, hoping that eventually there will be new info leading to a conclusion in this case.
Does anyone know why specifically the FBI has become involved or taken over the case?

The FBI reviewed the case, as requested, and passed it back to Orlando PD. Jenn’s case is in my queue.

Hi all, been reading almost everyone’s post it’s kind of hard to follow everything or remember what everyone has said. I know people think that you can’t tell if it is a man or woman in the video. But I believe that it is a man, just by looking at the size of the feet, how the POI is walking, the posture etc… Forgive me if this was already said or mentioned elsewhere besides this site. But has anyone thought that there could be two people involved in her disappearance, as in the real POI could possibly not be the one captured in the picture? I don’t know if this is confusing to anyone, it’s a little hard for me to explain things heh. Did the OCPD interview any of Jennifer’s neighbors where she lived? Surely someone could of heard something outside their door, a scuffle, a slight scream anything?

I don’t know if any of you read Mr. Kesse’s theories or one of them, and forgive me I do not remember where I read it. I just remember him mentioning about her possibly being abducted for the Human Trafficking. I remember him pointing out that it was the day after she got back from the cruise she was on, and possibly a man could have followed her or something along those lines. Not saying it’s a fact, obviously, but it is a possibility. Anyway, I’ll be checking in to see if anyone has heard of any more leads.

Thanks Blink. I agree – the Kesse family seems to have done so much work to find Jen – I can’t understand why LE would put up so many road blocks. Guess I was just glad to see the story highlighted on Nancy Grace – so good for exposure. If nothing else, Nancy’s show does attract so much attention. Just can’t believe that with the photos of the person leaving the car and everything there haven’t been any breaks. Seems like they had so much to go on so early on. Thanks!

Saw the case featured on Nancy Grace last night. Can you explain why the case has not been handed to the FBI but the OCPD are not actively working it – as the Kesse’s say? They also referenced a sex offender that lived next to Jennifer. Is the case cold in large part due to all of the illegal workers at that time? What do you see as a next step that can be taken? This case has always really bothered me; Jennifer just disappeared into thin air.

I was told that the FDLE was assuming jurisdiction in this case, and then, I am positive, that OCPD is on record saying FBI has jurisdiction:

We asked the Orlando Police Department if the pictures were taken by investigators and released to one news outlet. We were told in a written statement, “You will need to contact the FBI related to anything in the case. The FBI is now the investigative entity as it relates to the case. The case is an active case with the FBI.”

I am a staunch supporter of the Kesse’s and they have been put through the LE ringer in their attempts to find Jenn.
