Tracy Ocasio Case: Breaking Developments Cast Doubts on Hataway – Explores Hutto Circle

Ocoee, FL– Tracy Ocasio has been missing since May 27th following an Tracy1evening at the Florida Tap Room where she was last seen with person of interest James “Jimmy” Hataway. In the initial days of the investigation, there were multiple reports that Hataway was a suspect in Ocasio’s disappearance, a suspect in the disappearance of Apopka man Onda “Chris” George, and as many as 5 other assaults on women.

To date, only one of those allegations has resulted in new charges against Hataway. In Seminole County, Hataway is facing charges for his alleged assault against Rachel Clarke, 23, for a Casselberry, FL incident  last August. Rachel Hataway is charged with Burglary of a conveyance with a battery, robbery, false imprisonment and battery. Uncovered exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, there is new inside information on this pending case. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, Jimmy Hataways’ closest friend told blinkoncrime police actually entered the residence he shared with Hataway shortly after the incident and cuffed him, thinking he was Jimmy. Once it was determined he was not and that he did not know his immediate whereabouts, police left the home.

Although they continued to reside in the same location for another 2 1/2 months and police had Hataways cell phone number, police never contacted Jimmy Hataway about the alleged incident. They did not interview the roommate either. In the almost 10 months following the alleged battery against Rachel Clarke, investigators never interviewed the suspect in a case which now carries a bond of $250K and a lengthy prison stint if convicted.

Other than Jimmy and Ms. Clarke, there is only one other known witness in this case whom LE also elected not to interview until after Hataway was arrested on the paraphanalia charge in Orange County. Where did they find this prospective witness almost 10 months later? Across the Pod from Jimmy Hataway in the Seminole County Jail; he is attempting to cut a deal to get out of charges stemming from his chronic crack cocaine addiction.

April 15 The Florida Tap Room Bar

DanielHuttoPaulIn the early morning hours of April 15, 2009, Paul Hutto was arrested on a battery charge for knocking Tracy Ocasio to the ground during an altercation outside the bar. Blinkoncrime was able to confirm this through Orlando Police Department, however, a request for the actual incident report has been denied thus far pending release from the State’s Attorneys office. Also, the charge does not appear on Hutto’s record.

How is it that the man gets arrested, spends the night in jail, and as of today there is no charges filed in the incident? If there are no charges pending, how is that not subject to public information requests? HuttoSlide5

Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that the woman involved in the confrontation resulting in Tracy Ocasio dumping her drink on her head, is Lori “Lo Lo” Branic, pictured in the middle with her “lollies” Cheryl Doan and Alicia Hutto.

Lo Lo is the wife of Paul Branic, sentenced on April 27th, currently incarcerated in Lake County since May 21st on a driving with a revoked/suspended license charge and violation of probation. Interestingly, Paul Branic was detained by the Bay County Sheriffs Office on 5/26/09 following a plea deal conference call the same day before returning to Lake County to serve out his sentence.

Was Branic with his wife the evening of 4/15? Is it a complete coincidence that Tracy dumps a drink on his wifes head and on the eve of the day he cops a plea deal Tracy Ocasio goes missing? There were several myspace messages on Jeremiah Huttos myspace back and forth between him and Lo Lo where she finally tells him in the early evening of 5/26/09 “no more texting, lol ” that have since been deleted.

Holy Hutto Houdini

Not all of the Hutto family has the Houdini gene, apparently, there are a few that are not have fared as well as their kin. In fact, you can find a few on Jeremiah Huttos myspace page with pride.

Brothers Paul and Jeremiah however, seem to have the escape trick down. JeremiahHuttoOrange JeremiahHuttoSeminol1 JeremiahHuttoSeminol2 PaulHuttoOC

Jeremiahs battery conviction was for the brutal beating of Erica Henry, an Ocoee Mother of 2. I was contacted anonymously by a family member of hers and told that it was not the first or last time Ms. Henry was assaulted by “Jbizzle” or the last. Ms. Henry died on April 27th, 2008. At press time, efforts to request Ms. Henrys death certificate as to cause of death have not been returned.

HuttoSlide6guysSources inside the investigation into the disappearance of Tracy Ocasio have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that Jeremiah and Paul Hutto were cleared immediately by detectives after only their initial interview although they were also at the Florida Tap Room  and then Gators the evening Tracy went missing.

Joe and Liz Ocasio, Tracy’s parents, were told by detectives that they were cleared of any involvement because of how angry they got in response to detectives questions. Wait for It… Neither Hutto brother was asked to take a polygraph or provide a DNA sample. None of their homes and properties have been searched although police have been relying on Paul Hutto to show them sites where he worked with Jimmy. HuttoBros

As discovered exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, there was an abandoned 911 call at approximately 6:04 PM the day Tracy Ocasio went missing, from the Hutto home at 1002 Wyoming Court. This call follows a shots fired call in the area of Cullens Ct at approximately 5:43PM. To date, no information has been released about either call, or it’s possible connection to the Ocasio case.

I have interviewed over a dozen known associates, self proclaimed confidential police informants, and some of Jimmy Hataway’s closest friends that have known him, lived with him, and yes, in some instances been in trouble with him throughout his life. Every single source told me the same thing– If Jimmy had any involvement, of if he knows anything at all, you need to talk to his brother, he would tell him anything, and be his first call. I have. His interview will be featured next week exclusively at blinkoncrime.com

I’m sorry I had clicked on the link in post # 98 so I ‘assummed’ and read right away that they said it wasn’t her so I thought the peeps here knew with out posting a link..

My bad Blink. Sorry Thanks for the help though :)

  3. FairWitness says:

They must have some compelling facts at the body discovery site to conclude it’s not Tracy Ocasio.
I have only seen that on the link I provided, I hope that’s a quote.

  4. ex gf says:

No problem Kosmo! I can’t rule out Jimmy using Steroids, I also dated him around 3 1/2 years ago. I didn’t think he was doing coke while I dated him but he did admit that to me many months after we broke up. It was a difficult admission for him because he knows how much I hate hard drugs. We had kept in touch ever since we broke up but were not close friends, especially after I moved out of state. He sent me a myspace message several months ago asking how I was. I trusted him enough to invite him to my house if he was ever up this way. Guess he won’t be traveling anytime soon!

About the honesty, if everyone involved who knows Tracy or Jimmy or anyone else involved (still waiting on my web diagram ;) ) would just be honest maybe some more information would come to light.

  5. passionflower says:

How can they tell that the body is not Tracy’s? The article says that the body has been there for a while. Can they DNA so quickly? I do pray is Tracy, as painful and sad as it is.
    It is not Tracy.

B thanks so much for clarifying the status to #106. It appears some people in here are already ready to give up on my cousin being found ALIVE! How sad and disapointing. Evidently some of us have more faith then others(if the others even have faith at all).
    D
respectfully, i dont think that is a fair representation of the readers here- I think we would all love to find Tracy alive, but sadly, I do not believe she is. That said, she needs and deserves to be found for her, and for your family. God Bless.

  8. D says:

Me and my cousin Tracy’s grandma really strongly feel that Tracy’s alive. She’s a surviver as our grandma said she’s a strong spirit and as long as prayer is behind her I’m sure God will keep a window open for every door that He might temporarily close. His word says when two or more gather there He will be and it also says Ask and it shall be given seek and ye shall find knock and the door shall be open also COR 10:13 – He will never give us more then we can handle. God doesn’t break His promises to us but in return we must do our part. We must have faith and ACT on the faith. Much prayer Much power Little prayer Little power. We must show God the strength of our Faith in Him and in what we know He can do and does in terms of miracles we must.

Greater is He who is in US then he who is in the world people lets reflect this fact through our faith through our prayers!!

B I believe she is our grandmother believes she is. Have some faith. There’s no signs of her being gone no traces of her having been taken out at all. There’s just the Q where is she? I’m going to hold out that hope and FAITH that she is alive til the day she’s found.
I don’t expect you to understand because this is not your cousin/sister.
Sometimes it saddens me to be related to #105. But never the less at least I was raised to have and keep faith regardless of odds and the way things appear.
I meant my reply towards posting 105 by the way sorry for the mix up.
I also apologize to #106 I typed faster then my thoughts were coming out.

I will never be one to hamper one’s faith, I hope your right.

  14. D says:

B I’d like to ask you why to you think she is no longer with us? Is there something you may know that I don’t? Just yes or no since I know no details can be released. -but sadly, I do not believe she is-
No, and again, it is not my intention or desire to ever change a person’s opinion or faith system. One thing, as a very impatient person I have learned the hard way in these cases from a friend and mentor of mine, is that the answers (in this case Tracy’s location) come to us on God’s time. Not ours, as much as we would prefer the opposite. Praying for Tracy and her family.

  17. Care2Know says:

Apopka PD stated that when they arrived at the scene they saw 3 men in the woods by Chris’ Suzuki. The 3rd man that has not been identified to the media was the person that Tyler referred to as “Chris’ brother”. That 3rd person was whom Tyler called and who met Jimmy and Tyler to look for Chris. The identity of that 3rd person shouldn’t be such a mystery if the APD approached the 3 of them. I know that only Tyler and Jimmy were taken in for questioning..I wonder why the 3rd person was not…

I know who the 3rd person was, and it was my understanding he was at the station for questioning the evening of the 12th. When according to your info did they call him?
    B

  18. Care2Know says:

Tyler called him the morning after the incident happened.
Understood, thanks, do you know why?
    B

  19. Care2Know says:

When Tyler said he called Chris’ brother to meet him and Jimmy to look for Chris, that 3rd person at the scene was who Tyler was referring to as Chris’ brother. I was only aware of Tyler and Jimmy being taken in as there was no discussion of the 3rd person from the Apopka Police Officers at the time the 2 were released from questioning.

  20. Care2Know says:

From what I understand Tyler was calling to tell him what happened the night before, and the person he was talking to asked exactly where the location of the truck was (I heard Tyler telling the directions) and told Tyler he wanted to meet up with them (Tyler and Jimmy) to help look for Chris. That was also the time that Tyler told us that what Chris had done was not uncommon. Supposedly Chris had taken off a few times on binges of sorts. From the way Tyler said, it was not “unexpected” behavior from Chris, which seemed unfortunate…
Understood, thanks. Here is my question- why didnt Tyler just drive the truck home that evening?
    B

  21. Care2Know says:

I don’t know. Maybe he thought Chris would go back to his truck during the night.

  22. Care2Know says:

Tyler didn’t seem to be trying to “hide” anything. Even though they brought the truck back the next day it never seemed like the purpose in doing so was to ever hide what happened to Chris. Dumb decision in moving the truck I think but it didn’t seem malicious towards Chris’ disappearance as Tyler described

Do you know who called Chris over earlier in the day in the fist place? Was that Tyler or Jimmy? How long did they know Chris?
    B

  23. Care2Know says:

Tyler called Chris over. Chris told me he met Tyler in a bar maybe a month or so before that day.
Was it your opinion that Jimmy was meeting Chris for the first time then? Did Tyler call him from phone X or Jimmy’s that your aware of?
    B

  24. Care2Know says:

I think I remember Chris saying he met Tyler through someone.

  25. Care2Know says:

I don’t remember Tyler ever “introducing” Chris to anyone but for most of the time Chris talked to Tyler, not really Jimmy too much. It didn’t seem like Jimmy knew Chris before that day. I just assumed Tyler used phone X, never seeing Tyler borrow Jimmy’s phone or any other phone.

  26. ex gf says:

Thanks for letting me know Blink. I am just jonesing for more information on this investigation but I do understand that some things may need to be witheld to prevent causing problems with the investigation. I hope they discover whomever is responsible and more importantly, find Tracy and Chris, hopefully alive and well! Keep up the good work, I look forward to any information you can provide.

  27. D says:

Boo thanks I appreciate your words Blink thanks I appreciate your words also. Yea I won’t lie its been beyond a challenge each day to get up and do normal things to work to sleep to eat to think. I haven’t eaten much if anything at all in the last two months. I don’t know what sleep or peace of mind is anymore. If I get lucky enough to fall asleep I dream about my cousin Tracy and just wake up sobing.
When I first found out I just didnt want to believe it was her. The last night we chatted via text I told her to be careful because I had a bad feeling about that particular night now I know why I felt the way I did.

I feel so guilty because she had been asking me to hang out with her in Florida and I kept delaying it because I was getting myself stable our entire relationship was via phone we knew each other when we were kids and Tracy and myself were the first two grand kids our grandma got to witness.

If I had been there and hung out with her she might still be here today.
I hesitated letting myself be loved by family because I never know what family was because my mom kept me away and the one person(my cousin)that really wanted me to learn how to let myself be loved by family is lost and possibly gone.

I should have been there with her that night should have done many things. I’m always going to owe my cousin and her family an apology which won’t even be close to good enough.
Please everybody pray pray for a miracle please my cousin Tracy Ocasio is truly one of a kind as friend and as family.
I’m missin her more then words could express.

B do you have any new information at all? Its been said that a tipster saw my cousin’s car the night she went missing. Do you know anymore then we do about it besides what the media noted about the sighting?

Do you know anything about an attempted abduction case in New York regarding a seasonal worker that may have been in florida that night and travelled else where? This stuff I read on a news article.

Im just desparate for hope any kind of hope Im really freakin desparate.
This crap has been making me close to insane with frustration.
So whatever you can hand out to me I’d really appreciate.

as i am sure ,you would think ,this case has got to be top priority in this community,i dont know the personality of this particular neighborhood , but at some point if these cases arent solved ,this is not a safe community, and the people of the community need to start demanding answers from elected officials.

certainly cold cases are part of every community, but this is three,(youd at least what to know what where onda, and possbile likely connection to jenk(if not more:two bodies found since tracy disappeared)

  41. LuckyLou says:

Re #137 – Agreed! When are people going to be outraged? What do we need at this point, Oprah?! I know people make jokes about Nancy Grace – but we are at that point – we need a national bullhorn to draw attention to the fact to these cases and get LE moving and shaking!

  42. LuckyLou says:

Also, didn’t someone on your site suggest Lake Apopka long ago? Has that been searched yet? What happened to that contributer? (“Duder”?)

  43. passionflower says:

Yes LuckyLou, I am outraged! You can’t imagine the anguish and dispair that we, the family members feel. Can you imagine writing to the Mayor of Ocoee, and he in turn sends the letter not to another public official, but to a personal family member of the missing person, in order to shut you up?! It happened to me, and it sickened me. Our family is tip-toeing around, so that this town cops don’t get their feelings hurt. I will never put foot in Ocoee.

  44. Duder says:

Yes LuckyLou. I did in fact suggest searching Lake Apopka at the beginning of all of this. As far as what happened to me, I’ve just felt more useful in other places doing different things rather than posting on this particular blog. I’ve still been paying close attention to this site, though. Unfortunately, it’s too late to search the lake itself (as in the actual water), but it’s good to see they’re searching at least parts of the areas surrounding the lake.

  45. Ashley Marie says:

This case really inrigues me. I know we all have our “faves” (not that we want any of these things to ever happen to anyone) but this one just gets me. So many twists and turns and players.

B, when will you release the interview with Chris, (I think that’s who you said)?

To the family, I am so sorry you are living through this, no one can imagine what it’s like unless they have been through it too. May the love of God bless and wash over all of you. I don’t think you know how many unknown faces out here are praying and searching for answers every day. I wish you Peace………….

Not Chris, Chris George is missing from Apopka since 2/11/09. It is with Colt, which I am witholding for time being.

  46. Ashley Marie says:

Colt…. that’s who I meant. The old brain just can’t recall sometimes. Thanks, B.

  47. Charisse says:

Looking at the Huttos’ crimes, I am curious about the details of the various battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping and stalking charges.

I am thinking that, if one of the males did do it, they might have developed a signature of sorts, even if they aren’t aware of it.

I would want to know the habits of all of these men. If they have a preference for certain hair colors or body types or certain types of violence against women and whether their crimes were done solo or always in groups, what kind of drugs they take and how they act when they are on various drugs, etc.

The Hutto’s crimes seem to have begun around 1998, I am also curious if there are other young women from the area missing since then, other than Kesse and O’Casio.

As far as the Hataway case goes, if he started with fantasy pretending to break his girlfriend’s neck, then, moved to taking meth and trying to actually break women’s necks. I am guessing that he was rehearsing and trying to get his courage up, similar to the guy who shot the women in the gym.

I wish they had charged him with attempted murder.

  48. ex gf says:

I have not heard that Jimmy was taking meth. Is this confirmed?

As to #149- I can say that I am of similar height, weight and hair color as Tracy. I dated Jimmy a few years ago after meeting him in a bar AND taking him home from the bar. Nothing bad ever happened to me. We dated for about 6 months and I did not notice any violent behavior. The Jimmy I knew only smoked pot and drank and he could get sloppy drunk. I know he got in a few bar fights and was even stabbed 4 times after such a fight (shortly after we broke up) I did not see any violence toward women, especially not me.

I have stated before, people can change…especially when drugs are involved. Even so, I can’t see the fundamentals of a person changing that dramatically.
