Simmering Perdition
How do they find each other? Is there some invisible beacon for the
black hearted to lessen the degrees of separation between them and like minded cellar dwellers? I have come to the conclusion that there are two types of people in this fray.
There are the “most of the people in my family were criminals and we did not mind seeing each other through partitions,” types- and their victims.
Not only did Christine Sheddy invite the vampire into her home with Levi, but she went directly to the lair in Pocomoke City in November 2007.
Pocomoke City has a population of under 5000. How this unlucky soul came into contact with what appears to be it’s under-est of bellies starts with Levi’s cousin Steve Magg. The impetice for the meeting, the guy who actually drove Levi, Christine and the boys for the only other trip to the farmhouse in October, the guy who was at the farmhouse constantly from November 9 through the 13th HAS NEVER BEEN QUESTIONED BY POLICE IN THIS CASE.
Advance apologies et al, but in the course of this investigation, I can conclude Levi Hall and Mother Hall, had no advance notice of Christine’s jaunt to Pocomoke. In fact, Christine was running from Levi, dated 11/3/2007 1:13PM:

The question becomes, what makes a woman that has literally met these people on one occasion, want to pack up her boys and scoot? She had been there for 4 days previously. Apparently the lack of allegiance not withstanding to Levi as he introduced them, but WTH?
Christine caught Levi in another tryst, smoking more crack from dealer Todd, and argued with her Mother about it. She sent a very long and painful email to friends that she had had it with her children doing without, was tired of the abusive co dependent existence robbing her of unaffected thought, and refused to fail in her life.
Against the protests of her BFF “Q”, Christine talks him into taking her and the boys to meet Tia and Jr in the parking lot of the WalMart where they will pick them up for the rest of the trip to the farmhouse.
Q never saw the Farmhouse until blinkoncrime aired the first footage.
If he had, he never would have let her and the boys out of the van he told me in a recent interview. I said, “I know that Q, I was there, I know.”

The Quantum Crash that is the evening of November 12, 2007, ending Christine Sheddys’ life, was on course years prior.
Fabienne Hubertina “Fab” Stassen, daughter of Catharina and Frans, is the anachronism of this tale.
Fabienne Josephine Stassen comes from a prestigious family originating from the Netherlands. Her parents and sister are esteemed medical professionals. Fabienne was a nurse, fresh from school, at 32.
On 7/13/2005 Clarence “JR Jackson assaulted Ms. Stassen, among other menaces, and in August, the PCSO issued warrants and Peace orders. That included Fabienne and a neighbor of JR’s. Sharon Jean Nelson.
Ms. Stassen’s fears of Clarence “Jr” Jackson were short lived. Unfortunately, she requested a rescind hearing for the peace order against him in September and refused to assist in his prosecution so the charges were dropped. 2 months later Fabienne files for bankruptcy, before it is discharged, on February 9, 2006 dies unexpectedly.

SALISBURY — Fabienne Josephine Hubertina “Fab” Stassen, 33, died unexpectedly in her sleep Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006.
Fabienne was a registered nurse. She was born July 5, 1972, in Belleville, N.J. She was a graduate of Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, N.J., and Raritan Valley College’s School of Nursing in Raritan, N.J., where she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Until she moved to Salisbury, where she worked in several medical care facilities, she was a member of the Clinton, N.J., and Plainfield, N.J., first aid and rescue squads. Among her many awards was a certificate of appreciation for participation in the rescue efforts of 9-11 at the World Trade Center in New York City.
As a nurse, in addition to medical care, she brought cheer and a breath of fresh air to her patients. Her big heart showed not only in her caring for people but also in her love of animals.
She is survived by her parents, Toos and Frans; two sisters and their families, Veronique, Tom, John and James and Nicole, Aaron, and their little one; two grandmothers; six great-aunts; four aunts; seven uncles; and 24 cousins.
Fabienne’s remains were cremated in a private ceremony Feb. 11.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity that cares for people or animals in need.

In August 2007, just after meeting Tia Johnson and this backwoods
impression of Sid and Nancy is if full bloom, JR gets a ticket for speeding in Somerset County for driving 101 mph in a 55.
He was driving Fab’s Mustang. Jr. Jackson was driving the graduation gift of the woman he beat, turned onto drugs, and died while they were dating.
Although the record of the ticket he was given shows failure to appear warrants and suspension of his driver license; that was all miraculously fixed with a plea of guilty on 2/09/09; the 3 year anniversary of her death.
In front of witnesses speaking to blinkoncrime.com on the condition of anonymity, JR got a call in early September ‘07 from someone who obviously found out through the summons that JR was in possession of Fabienne’s car and gave him instructions on returning it.
The location of the Mustang with white racing stripes has not been disclosed.

The ties between the halls and the jackson posse is steve miggs. Never questioned although he was @ the farm, in and out from 11/09 until 11/12. Steve was not Tia’s BFF, was he close to JR?
I personally can not believe that LE was afraid of JR and the Criminal Crew. If anything, I would think they would want to run him out or get him behinds bars.
Afterall, he is not helping their image of being the friendliest Town on the Eastcoast. What a bunch of BS.

Blink- Thanks from the bottom of my heart for taking this case on. I am Christines grandfather and although I haven’t posted before I just had to this time. To say I’m angry is an understatement, for I never saw such bungeling from folks in power as this and that covers 75 years and a lot of miles! Thank God that you are bringing to light what happened, who is involved and who dropped the ball all along! With your help we will find my granddaughter and give her children the closure and peace they deserve. Thank you again and keep up the good fight – I’ll be watching, waiting and praying for justice for Christine!

#9 she died February 9, 2006 and she was cremated on Feb 11th..almost doesn’t seem like enough time for an autopsy to be completed or tox tests run.
Barely enough time for her family to get to Salisbury, MD from Tewksbury, NJ to make decisions like that.

I want to clarify something, I have not stated this woman committed suicide. What you are seeing on that blog is someone’s opinion. Tia and Jr. did not even know each other at this time, so that is impossible. The bigger questions for me are: why is Jr driving her car around 18 months later, How does one get warrants reveresed from a year earlier and how did Jr come up with $530 this past Feb to pay that off?

Justin, charles, stephen are related to Tia not JR. Tia also claims steve maggs is her BFF but not so, (lover?) And JR and Tia only met in 8/2007. I am also forming an idea that perhaps Mr. Maggs had a thing for christine. If so, and Tia is fond of Mr Maggs, that would have made Tia jealous, No?

Every community has their bad apples – let’s not cast a shadow on Pocomoke over the actions of a few rotten ones. There are many people in this community that have supported Christine’s family all along and have given freely of their time and resources to search for her and ask questions. There are decent, hardworking, family-oriented people that make Pocomoke and Worcester County their home; my sleepy little rural community in VA has had 7 murders in the last five years and I’m sure there is a lot that goes on behind closed doors, but I would still not want to live anywhere else.

Blink, thank you for coming in to help find my Granddaughter Christine. We have had our hopes dashed so many times in the last year and a half.You have given the family new hope. We have learned a lot more about this case than we ever had before. We were not getting much info from anyone, so Lynn and the family went on the farm property on several searches. My daughter Karen,(Lynn’s sister)and her children went on several searches on thier own as we were all desperate to find something.Karen found Chrissy’s clothes on one of the searches. I am 72yrs young and have to use oxygen, but i knew i had to look for her,and i did with my oxygen strapped on my back, it felt good that i was doing something. I am very proud of my Lynn, it’s tough for her, but she is doing wonderfully with the boys and Haylie, they are my very precious great grandbabies.I did not think one person had so many tears but there are still alot more to cry. If there is anything in these thouhgts of mine that you don’t want to print by all means, dont.I dont want to jeopardize your work in anyway. Good Luckand bless you and your team.

Steve Maggs is definately key here, seems to have been a catalyst on 11/9 the night of the fire, when christine saved those puppies. When he showed up christine wants to leave, wants out. Suddenly christine is hoping for Levi to save her, maybe from his own cousin? The guy she wanted to get away from is now the guy she is hoping will get her out.
“Nolle Prosequi” is what anyone affiliated with councilman Honiss Cane (drug supplier) receives for whatever they do.
Honiss Cane will at times put up money for bail, ‘IF’ he has ties with Cane that would explain the lack of investigation.
Whoa- you gonna back that up? No way will I let political agenda items derail conversation about Christine Sheddy. I say that respectfully, but that is a hell of an accusation, and if you cant tie it directly to this case, has no place here.
At the risk of sounding assanine- I will personally volunteer for McDermott’s election campaign for the delegate seat if he mobilizes efforts resulting in finding Christine. That is what I am here for. I work for Christine Sheddy and I can guarantee you she does not care one iota about any of this.

It was the post with “ALL Nolle Prosequi” and the connections with drugs from this crew.
If he was selling drugs for the king-pin that has Pocomoke wrapped around his little finger that would explain why the investigation was botched.

It is very sad that Christine felt she could turn to Jr & Tia for help. Despite the fact that she had only just met them & spent a few days at the farm before that. I feel so sad for Christine. She did not stand a chance in that hell hole.
And all she was seeking was a better life for herself & her kids.

Ok so JR is a violent meth addict with apparently really good luck with staying out of prison. And a woman with really violent bro’s and cousins. And an addiction to oxycontin. Drugs and violence, did they trade off partners too?
I am told that Tia has recently passed a drug test, however, I have spoken to a witness that saw her take high levels of the oxy, so hopefully she is off it.

As I have said before on another site, this should be at the forefront for Mr. McDermott. He has the chance to look like a huge hero before his next election. I have no personal concern for any politician, their career or their livelihood. I understand the frustration of the residents of this community with their local goverment. But this has nothing to do with Christine, nothing directly. And for the frustrated residents I would remind them once we are able to bring closure for Christine’s family, friends, and three children, the living victims, I am sure you will have more than enough evidence to persue allegations against that local goverment. But it is all about Christine here we all, including the local goverment HAVE to all be working for the same page to find justice for Christine. Again, I currently live in NY, if anyone can understand frustration with goverment, it is me. But we have to have a truce and move forward. This will be a great opportunity for the current goverment to prove the community that there is concern for both its citizens and visitors. Please let’s all move forward to get resolution. There will be plenty of time to fight later.
I can see where Public Eye gets his theory. It makes sense because JR did handle drugs, and has dodged jail every time he broke the law which is often.
I dont disagree, but I see more people refusing to testify against him and the charges are dropped than anything. I am just trying to make sure if someone makes an allegation, there is relevance to Christine’s case, and reasonable proof. I have considered the possibility they just plain want him out of that jurisdiction.

See what I mean? How do you have suspensions, failure to appear warrants recalled without a writ or bond appearance? Even if you walk in and say “I wanna pay my fine” , you still have to “appear” at a FTA. He has priors, I think he is on probation or parole as well?

My witness told me Jr gets a call on his cell, for like the first time ever, he hears JR speaking politely and calling the guy “Sir”. (think how you sit up straight in class when your not paying attn and you get called on). He says, I understand, yes sir, I will return it immeditely sir, I apologize, yes sir, right now, right.
He hangs up and says puts his hands on his head like ( omfg I am screwed) and tells Tia he has to go drop the car to return it to somebody. Secondly, I interviewed a girl that he took on a date in that car and he told her who it belonged to, not the dead part, though.
Who calls him, lets him return a car after getting a ticket, not do a dang thing on the ticket and then pay that fine on the anniversary of the owners death? If I am sounding like a broken record its because I am..

Who were all the people she called while at the farm ? What did she say to them ? Did she allude to anything/anyone that was making her even remotely uncomfortable while she was at the farm ?
It’s possible that photographs were taken while she was at the farm. Did LE check Jr & Tia’s cell phones, cameras etc.

Regarding the car, was it still registered and insured? And, to whom?
It is too much later for it to still have been registered and insured under her name. But if it wasn’t registered or insured, wouldn’t the charges be more than just speeding?
The only way I can make sense of it actually being legally registered to someone else and JR having access to it, would be if he was mutual friends with the person who gave it to Fabienne as a graduation gift, and, they let him use it, because he had been dating her. Then, the sir might have been him being yelled at for speeding in it.
If somehow it was still registered under her name (meaning someone like JR got the mail and paid the bill for registration and insurance) maybe someone called Fabienne’s family to see if the car was stolen? If so, the father might have been the one who called JR. and told him to either return the car or face arrest for stealing it?
I am guessing that the family knew he was dating their daughter, so if they were reminded that he had the car, they probably would have been po’d, but wouldn’t have pressed charges.
But shouldn’t the car have been in probate and have been given to whomever would have inherited it by then?
Though, my deceased relative’s car is still in the parking lot where it was left 2 years ago, because there was no will, and no children, so it is possible that the car was just left where Fabienne left it and JR just happened to know where the key was.
I guess if he gave a sob story about it being his dead ex-gf’s car, maybe the LE went easy on him and only gave him a ticket for the speeding when it should have been more.

For some reason, I keep thinking that the Fabienne and Jr relationship seems like a Christine and Levi relationship.
I am thinking that Fabienne’s parents probably feel a lot like Christine’s parents do now, except that they have the body of their daughter.
I guess I say that, because in the scholarship program, the parents described the school as a “haven” for their daughter, a few times. A haven has a ‘safe place in an unsafe world’ connotation to me, which makes me think that their daughter went through some unsafe things and they knew it.

I have had the “opportunity” to interact in one form or another with “real” connected people. It is not quite what you see in the movies all the time. I mean there is alot of kissing and esspresso drinkning but these people want MONEY, earners. Jr. is a liability there is no way in hell he has anything to do with the “family”. BTW the “family” is a rather racist organization. To be associated with them and be a different race, religion, or nationality, you have to be one hell of an earner. This guy aint it. I look at any gang, he does not have the discipline. My guess the yes sir was to an attorney. He has in the past had private defense. It really sounds like Jr is a narc. No way can someone get in that much trouble and get out without prosecution. LE is protecting him for some reason….
So Levi didn’t know in advance Christine was at the farm but became aware she was there at some point and didn’t help her leave when she wanted to…he wasn’t at the party but picked the kids up on the 13th and filed for custody on the 14th.
Could it be Levi left her there on purpose knowing Jr was gonna teach her a lesson or take care of his problem? Cause she wasn’t going back to him and child support can be expensive when your a lazy good for nothing deadbeat. Levi wasn’t there wouldn’t be looking at him, Jr under protection wouldn’t be investigating him.

I have no clue who JR was referring to as “Sir”, but I will not –as tempting as it is right now–make a leap of faith at this juncture to implicate even the most (allegedly) crooked of local politicians, without some trustworthy evidence of a connection. (If someone can provide a link, I am ALL EYES an/or EARS).
I will also not go jumping to (just as possible/probable) suspicion elsewhere, though the events do beg some serious questions.
For example, how did JR provide proof of ownership of Fab’s Mustand/insurance for Fab’s Mustang, when he was stopped for speeding in August ’07?? (and at such an excessive speed, that he could very well have been arrested on the spot/taken into custody with NO prior record).
He HAD to have provided such documentation.. right???

When Jr gets the car from “sir”, is this around the time that he leaves to go to TN for a stay? This case is so confusing and goes in circles in some places….so I honestly can’t remember when he took off for TN.

When a family member has a history of self-destructive behavior, whether drugs or abuse, I am thinking that often the family has worried about them dying so often that when it happens, there is not as much emotional energy to look for who is to blame.
I am guessing if JR had been her ‘first’ abusive relationship, they might have been pounding on doors to try to figure out why a 33 year old woman might possibly die unexpectedly – and someone might be pointing a finger at him.
