Christine Sheddy Case: Is Their A Fox In the FireHall?

Pocomoke City, MD– One thing that has been bothering the blinkoncrime.com team in Christine’s case, is that we hear about fire after fire that Clarence “JR” Jackson set, at the Byrd Road address.

However, there are no incident reports that we know of, from witness accounts that the Pocomoke City Fire Department was called on November 9th at a minimum.

You will find fire fighter pictures and coverage from August 2007 on the site, followed by current footage. There are no pics or reports of the Byrd Rd address, although there are several witness accounts of multiple fires on the property, and of course the flue fire from November 9, 2007.

JamesKevinHall

What is also not listed there, is the fact that James “Keven” Hall, the training OFFICER for Pocomoke City FD, is a registered violent sex offender.

Could he be related to Levi and Joyce Hall? Is that the reason that the searches on the property where the Pocomoke City FD were in attendance yielded nothing? It would seem finding her remains would yield heavy coverage. In turn, this information would have been discovered early.

What effect, if any, has this had on the Christine Sheddy case?

Editors Note 9/6/09:

I have re-read this article numerous times. How in the world any person could “take away” from it that my team or I, in any shape, form or fashion, have anything but the utmost respect for the thousands of men and women in this country that volunteer their time and risk their safety for ours is ludicrous. There is no such allegation or inference of any kind.

Anyone alleging that has their own agenda and it is painfully transparent to all.

For starters, I am the granddaughter of a United States Marine that fought valiantly in the 2 bloodiest battles in WWII who declined a full ride football scholarship to Duke for the privelege. I have nothing but respect and support for any public servant. To suggest otherwise when my Poppa has had such a profound effect on my life is an insult to his memory.

Secondly, a member of my team’s Father is a retired volunteer fire fighter with 25 years of service. She knows first hand what it’s like when Dad is called out right when dinner starts or when was mostly inconvenient.

I watched both the WTC towers crumble from a hill in Boonton, NJ after being diverted on my way into the city for a meeting at a client who saw the first plane hit from her office window.  I will never in my life forget the smell in the air downtown a week later when my meeting was rescheduled.

I stopped at the corner where the National Guard was now positioned and bought a bouquet and went into the Ladder Company on Water St.

There were pictures of 9 Firefighters that were missing or dead. I hugged a man I never met and blubbered in front of a work associate. I hung their prayer book in my office. These people are Heroes.

H E R O E S.

The issue here is there are records that have been pulled from view intentionally, including pictures that encompass the time frame that a young mother of 3 was murdered on a farm that there were several alarms to.

If someone does not see how this is relative to a murder investigation that occurred at the property, potentially by a person of interest who started the fires in the first place, I am at a loss.

The business at hand is finding Christine Sheddy.

I didn’t figure out that I could see my posts on the site but not on the RSS Feed so that must mean you kept them back and only I can see them? That’s what I am hoping for.

145, Well then, if he really is related to Levi, and has a criminal record for a sexual crime with a minor, of course he needs to be looked at.

Part of finding the body might well be finding out who might have been willing to help these characters for any reason.

He may well be totally innocent, but it would be remiss to skip over looking at anyone who is related who may have been on the farm at any time around that time.

This was a murder. Gotta look at everybody.

I am not suggesting that Hall is directly involved. What I am saying is .. Does the fact that this guy obviously is hiding something effect the access to previously posted information AND why wasn’t anyone charged with the fires?

Blink, nicely said, but you really don’t need to defend yourself. Everyone knows you wear a white hat. Looks like this tiny bit of scrutiny is rattling the status quo. That’s healthy. Some parties are no doubt learning it’s a bit harder to get away with things when there are so many eyes upon you.

They may be giving you an ice cream headache, but you’re giving the guilty parties a real migraine. The truth is out there, as they say, and it’s only a matter of time before the guilty will be brought to justice—and Christine and her family will finally be able to rest.

    You’re aces in my book.

Thanks friend, I very much believe that Christine will be found and the right parties arrested.

I am a worse than amateur trying to follow all this, and I deeply appreciate the statement that Christine IS buried on the farm. However this has been so complicated that I am not sure I trust my understanding of that. In such a small town, where so many are involved, where there are secrets coming out: the sooner Christine is found and her murderer(s) put away, the sooner life will go back to normal. Somebody knows something and this isn’t going to go away. Keep digging, all you great sleuths. We can’t find every “disappeared” woman, but we WILL find this one. At that time, Blink, you and your team will be wearing the HERO Hats.

I asked what I thought were some pretty legitimate questions on the TaT and it seems to have upset many people I apologize. I understood she liked music and horror films.

Boo- very legit. Thus the barbs. I do wish to maintain focus on Christine, and I so value your apology, but not really necessary. We needed a bit of a release.

    “Punisher, said:
Remember when the search and rescue group traveled to the farm and searched for Christine? They did that for free except they wanted to be reinbursed for the gas it took for them to get there which was about $300. The LE never gave them squat as they agreed. How about when the dogs alerted near the woods and Lynn was told it was a deer they picked up on, and the searchers were told not to proceed? Those dogs are trained not to pick up on deer. Shall I proceed? ”

To your knowledge, are either of these acquisations true?

    It is true.

  20. Charity says:

Bravo Blink. I am glad that you said these things.

The town seems very touchy about even looking at an individual firefighter. Strange to me.

From personal experience, I have always noticed that almost every organization, and almost every extended family for that matter, has a whole lot of wonderful people, but at least one or two people with what I would call, “issues.”

My immediate family tend to run heroic, but one very extended family member of mine, who I never met, killed a girl when he was 16. None of my family members suspected a thing, and I believe some members got defensive when things pointed in that direction, but in the end, justice for victims is thicker than blood.

I knew, if he was innocent, he would be cleared. If he was guilty, he would be put away. Either way, if he was suspected of anything, he needed to be examined. He was examined and he WAS guilty. GLAD, GLAD, GLAD he was caught!

I will admit that 2 of my other extended relatives with issues happen to be in my town’s volunteer fire department. They are heroes, but with strong vices / addiction issues.

They are kin and have saved the lives of more than one of my family members, but I happen to know the balance of heroism and sin enough to know that I wouldn’t stand in anyone’s way in any kind of investigation.

    aaaaAAAAhhhHHHHaaaaa

I’ve been taken on a Tattler journey from ‘phosts past’ and ‘phosts future’ and now its becoming clear. What we need is a timeline with all relevant information (and I guess lots of irrelevant info to). Each and every fact as it is know – and as it comes along should be attached to the timeline. Along with that we need a task list of all things that are unknown and assign those out to those most capable of running them down. We need lists of the resources (who (names)/what (physical info know)/when (good timeline) where (the 3View Team is taking this) and Why (that is where the locals are the most valuable)

In real-life the LE would be the project coordinator in all of this and ask to pull in the resources they need. That’s doesn’t seem to be the plan as of now. And its so obvious that there is no real leadership and no desire to do this even though it is their paid job, their moral obligation and the ultimate stain on their futures.

I can’t get over the flip/flop with the comments at the Tattler. It is so petty and I hate to see grown ups suddenly jealous now that there are new kids in town to HELP – and they don’t want to trust – and if you read between the lines they like it just the way it is because this is the information and relationships they are comfortable with. Change is hard – change is impossible for many. Only shakin’ the trees and exposing the thin veil of coverup – which will bring CHANGE is going to work. Not this status quo. Nope sorry.

    Hey kids,

I think our “missing Records” from the firehouse may not be “missing” after all. Here is what I found out from the Tattler forum.

Apparently not all records are posted on the firehouse website so here we go and please bear with me cause I am as ROOKIE as it gets.

“Upon returning to the station there is an incident report entered into the computer in a county wide owned & operated database where it is stored (I believe). The records have to be on file for at least seven years or longer. The fire Dept. does not have the rights or ability to delete that report, they can only add to it and it will be attached to the original report along with date and time it was added Not sure if those reports are covered under “FOIA” (don’t ask me what FOIA means I’m actually copying this from the tattler poster who posted this) but in some cases reports of that nature have to be requested by an attorney or court order.”

MAKO was the poster of this information on the Tattler and there is more to his post on the Tattler. But the bottom line here is it may require an attorney or a court order to aquire these records.

Blink, I know you would prefer a link and such to show proof of info but there was not one on the tattler and thats my rookie excuse and I’m stickin’ to it, sorry.

You can find this post on the Pocomoke Tattler under the article “MESSAGE FROM CHRISTINES FATHER”

Trust me Blink, I did not want my comment made into a headline like it was. It was just a comment, really

    My dear Christine’s Dad:

I was asked by my team earlier to reach out to you and I apologize I was working on the updated piece and did not get a chance to extend their message to you after seeing your post.

It is very, very difficult to keep quality people motivated on a pro bono basis with some of the negativity swirling. Often times people ask “Why do I bother”?

I am proud to say, my team had the opposite responses.
I can’t actually print them here, they are, shall we say, passionate. Here is the last line:

You tell those ( insert choice word) that we came for Christine and we are not leaving without her.
And we have no plans to.
    Fondly,
    B

FOIA is freedom of information act, link: http://www.state.gov/m/a/ips/
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Title 5 of the United States Code, section 552, generally provides that any person has the right to request access to federal agency records or information. All agencies of the U.S. Government are required to disclose records upon receiving a written request, except those records that are protected from disclosure pursuant to nine exemptions and three exclusions. The FOIA applies only to federal agencies and does not create a right of access to records held by Congress, the courts, or by state or local government agencies. Any requests for state or local government records should be directed to the appropriate state or local government agency. 22 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 171 codifies the access procedures and guidelines for the availability of Department of State records and information to the public.
