Christine Sheddy Case: Clarence Jackson Arrested For ARSON- In Tennessee

Rogersville, TN– Clarence Butch “Jr” Jackson, believed to be a person of interest in the disappearance and murder of Christine Marie Sheddy has been arrested for aggravated burglary and arson in Hawkins County, TN.

At the former residence of a girlfriend of Jackson, 166 E. Madeline Lane, a witness identified Jackson as the man who broke into the home using a rock to break the glass of the door, and proceeded to light the shower curtain on fire.

While there was no one inside the home during the burglary, the tenant was in the process of removing her things due to an eviction.

Jr. Jackson and his girlfriend Tia Johnson were tenants in a farmhouse at 2911 Byrd Rd, Pocomoke City from September through November 2007 where multiple unexplained fires occurred, with no arrests to date.

As previously chronicled exclusievely at blinkoncrime.com, it is believed 26 year old Christine Sheddy, mother of three from Delaware, was murdered on that farm the evening of November 12, 2007.

The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing.

Please call Worcester County Bureau of Investigation if you have any information regarding the disappearance of Christine Sheddy (410) 352–3476.

Oh, wow, i didn’t realize 3 view hadn’t started searching yet. No wonder they haven’t found anything yet. Jr (and one supposes, Levi in the near future) sitting in jail would be a good start, but it’s not nearly enough.

Actually there is a felony warrant out for Levi’s arrest- theft from a Dr. that lives on the same street he does.
    Dominos?
    B

  2. i4ni says:

Levi’s arrest warrant has been taken down from the DE warrant site, either he took care of it or the police caught up with him. I am trying to get more info on this, anyone hear anything?

  3. Seashed says:

Just wondering, how does one “take care of” a felony warrant? The only thing I can think of is turn yourself in and then post bail. If that is the case, mommy dearest would have to have had something to do with it, right??

She did make a statement to the effect that “she knew people on the force” or something like that.

  4. christinesmom says:

She knows people on the force when they come to her front door, either to arrest one of her kids, or look for a stolen dog.

  5. jleeds says:

Who’s babyk….Tia or another one of Jr’s girlfriends? I’m confused on that part..I don’t think Tia is smart enough to write that….and if it’s not Tia – well darling…you are OLD NEWS!!! Jr. is probably gonna pin the whole thing on you…jealous girlfriend…Christine was so much prettier than you…(you are fat and on drugs..she is gorgeous, your are not) ..he hit on her, you got pissed off….you better come clean before he blames everything on you..YOU ARE ALL GOING DOWN…AND I’M GONNA BE STANDING THERE….LAUGHING AT YOU…I WOULD SPIT ON YOU IF I COULD….and you know something Domo, don’t come on here acting like you don’t know shit…that’s a bunch of bullcrap….same with you…you and Tia are gonna be sitting in jail..along with all of your other derelick friends…can’t wait for the day!!!! It is only a matter of time…tick tick tick….Times up jerkoffs!! Next chapter please!!!!

    Hey jleeds,
It is so good to hear from you. You haven’t posted in some time. Good to have you back. Christine needs your support now more than ever. Everyone on Blink is going to like your writing style…No BS just tell it like it is. Welcome my friend.

    Blink,
I have a question for you. I looked up Levi on the DE dept of corrections. It says that he is out of custody, but his scheduled release date is july of 2010. I dont think he went to trial for his last crime, so whats with the 2010? is that a probation date for his drunk driving charge?
    Thanks Blink

I will have to look into that, I do believe he is on probation and if he gets arrested while on probation, it could revert old charges. Let me see what I can find out.

Blink – its all your fault for bringing Christine’s story to my attention. And now – I can’t stop putting myself in her mother’s, father’s and sister’s shoes. It is nearly the first thing I think of when I turn on my computer early in the morning. I have a bookmark for the RSS feed and everyday I hope that there will be good news. I chatted a little bit on the Tat with some of them last night – and out of morbid curiosity I cannot help but pop in at the other place just to remind myself about everything this family has to deal with on top of their grief.

I know this is a pray & wait situation right now but is there anything more we can do at this point?

Great question and thank your for your continued support. We are close to an update in this case.

I live in Pocomoke not far from the Farmhouse on Byrd Rd. I have been following this story closely because I am a single mom and live in the area. I grew up here and know the Johnson family somewhat, just in passing. It scars me to think this happened in my back yard. Please find Christine so that her parents and children have the answers they so desperately need. And I would feel comfort in knowing that the people that did this to her have to pay for what they did.

Anything new you can talk about? Someone posted on the chat roll on the tattler that Jr was charged with a bunch of things in Tenn. One charge they posted was attempted murder. Do you anything new on him or his charges?

I wish, hope to soon. I will check into Jr, but I posted early his no bond status screamed more charges were coming to me-
Maybe that is a good sign for *conversation*.

Going back a few comments… I noticed nik kellogg’s name on the left column too and was curious as to his association with this incident. I grew up in pocomoke (and am in my mid-20′s) and have family there. I went to school with Nik for years and he is a solid guy, definitely nothing like this crew. I also think its important to note to people not familiar with pocomoke that none of the people involved in this incident have any ties to the community. Its literally one of those towns where everyone grows up together and knows everyone, and these were all outsiders (apparently some had ties to nearby snow hill but I don’t know any of them).
B, you visited the town for investigation, and you saw that it has no industry or promise of growing jobs for young people (not to be negative, just speaking the truth). Towns across america should take notice, if a group of unknown people suddenly take roots in a town like this, they are probably up to some kind of no-good.

Nik apparently befriended someone who told him an account of what happened the night Christine disappeared and that information was passed on to LE after he was arrested for some “wrong crowd” kind of stuff. According to the Burke’s, he seems to be a good kid as well.

I think your comments about unknown people suddenly taking up in a town like this is very important. I agree totally. I believe JR Jackson and his merry band of misfits was recruited so to speak.

  18. bosshogg says:

Mik is a stand up guy and a friend of the family who had nothing to do with the crime.

His only crime is growing up in Pocomoke and knowing some of the people who knew some of the people.

The gene pool around here is not very deep.

I personally don’t like seeing Niks name in the cast of players on this website, but its not my website and I post a lot of things other people don’t like on the Tattler.

Nik is not a player or a witness.

    Boss-
I thought I was fair about my response on Nik, and the information I have is definately that he recounted a story he was told about Christine’s disappearance directly to LE, that makes him a witness. That said, I am also of the opinion there were several people that had that information prior to him, so I can’t say how relevant it was.

  19. gotoutofpcity says:

I’m also curious as to whats going on with the car salesman guy from Hurlock (sorry names are getting hard to follow). Hurlock is not exactly in the same neighborhood as pocomoke. Its well over an hour drive and off the beaten path. Hello? They are up to something. Can’t the cops find out what the hell these guys are up to and arrest them at least for that if not anything to do with the murder/disappearance?

Also, hi to the Burke’s… I’m a friend of the kids.

I am not sure what case your referring to. I am fond of the Burke’s myself. There are no pictures of either of them with goats. ( sorry, inside joke, indulge me)
    B

  20. gotoutofpcity says:

Sorry I wasn’t specific… in the Sheddy disappearance there was a man I think by the name of Steve Magg or something like that. He worked at a car dealership in the town of Hurlock (about an hour and a half away) and was a known visitor to the farmhouse. Any update on what shady practices this guy was up to?

Not in particular to him, except I do think he got a ticket or something after this article broke. I do think he has information and is a conduit of sorts.

blink Have been waiting for any updates. I am hoping everything is just falling into place and there will be closure for Christine’s family. Alot of tragedies lately so I know alot is going on. Christines case really hit home for me. My daughter was in the same kind of relationship, very abusive, there were drugs involved, she has 2 beautiful children. Thank god she is no longer with this guy and she is clean now. She is loving life now. I wish Christine could have gotten away from this crowd and had the opportunity to enjoy life and her children. It scares me to think how close Mikala could of been to this kind of tragedy. I wish her family peace. Kim

  28. Brandi says:

Its been two long years since Christine disappeared. A day does not go by without me think of her. A a kid she was the most care free child. We shared some very lasting memories: as Mrs. and Mr. Kesser can attest. The day we went ice skating on the pond, in the back of the park. Yet we came with roller skates hey why not? Christine gets half way across the pond with me behind her. Laughing and spinning, life was great! Till the ice cracked and we fell through! We made it out safe but I will never forget the look on my mom and her grandparents faces when we trekked home sopping wet! Christine was very adventurous. We would spend all day exploring the woods. Coming home muddy as ever. Mom will never forget our chemistry experiments. Trust me when they say do not add acids, please don’t. LOL! I can remember Girl Scouts and Band. I know our parents loved our clarinet skills. Today remind your loved ones how precious life is and pray for Christine’s family. Pray she will brought home soon, and justice be rightfully served.

Brandi. I laughed with a tear at your story. Thanks so much for sharing it. I just “met” Christine this year, and I truly believe I have to be able to help bring her home. We are at the junction of her and our journey, in my opinion . Until today, I forgot something very personal to me, which I would like to share. I am not Catholic, but I personally do not believe my God discriminates calls for help on behalf of someone missing from his flock.

Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.

O Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God
and Charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on
earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on
your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in
trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore
of you to obtain for me the whereabouts of Christine Marie Sheddy.
    The answer to my prayer
may require a miracle. Even so, you are the saint of
    Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full
of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the
Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and
the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.

For Christine, the missing and those who are left behind hoping, praying, agonizing. I believe because He is just and good and kind and most merciful. Give faith a fighting chance <3.

‘My Child, why have you done this to us? See how worried your father and I have been, looking for you… He went down with them and came to Nazareth.’ (Luke 2:48-51)

    God our Father,
Your Son Jesus Christ as a child
was lost in the chaos of a great city
    and was restored to the love of His family;
watch over Christine , now missing, for whom we pray
and protect her with Your love.
    Be near to those who are anxious for her;
let Your presence change their sorrow into comfort,
    their anxiety into trust,
    their despair into faith,
that they may know Your loving purposes.

And this we ask in the name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour,
who loves and lives and cares for all Your children.

    Amen

Hola Blink..just wondering when we will hear your next chapter on Christine..I was actually watching my local 6pm news last night and they were interviewing some police from milford, PA and in the background posted on the billboard behind him was a Christine flyer..I couldn’t believe I saw her there and I shouted LOOK! There’s Christine Sheddy in the background and everyone said…WHO…she def needs some more coverage!

    Where was that billboard? Interesting..

At the moment, as I stated in an interview I gave on the 28th, we are allowing the powers to be to do their work, with some other interesting developments in the background. I promise to update when we can.

    “Hello Christine’s mom.
I have read the entire blog here today. I knew nothing of your daughters disappearance until yesterday when I was looking through other sites and found your daughters case.
I do work with an online missing persons group and thought I would do a writing on Christine. Does the family know anyone by the name of Henry?
I will explain what my writings are and you will then know why I asked about Henry. If you would like to know more about me, I would be happy to email you privately. This is the writing that came to me on January 3 2010.

Would it be so that this young woman has vanished to a place unfamiliar to her and her family. She was taken by a man named Henry who at the time was a distant acquaintance of hers through a mutual friend who wanted to set her up with a blind date with him. They did go out together and she was not impressed. He was impressed with her though and began stalking her. Her family never knew about him as she kept all of this from them. He was living in a nearby town about 20 miles away from her home. Lancaster Heights. He convinced her to go out one more time and that is when she disappeared. He took her across the state line.

Could you please contact me or give me your email address I really would like to talk with you privately.”

Of course we all know that if you’re savvy enough to ‘do work with an online missing persons group’ then it would be easy to google Christine and find contact information for her family in various places. So I don’t put any stock into this – but just wanted to say that I haven’t forgotten Christine and still look for clues when I get a chance to. Just thought I’d pass it along.

Still thinking of Christine & family – lily

    yep.
