Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Brad Conway Releasing New Evidence

Orlando, FL– Brad Conway, attorney for George and Cindy Anthony vows to release evidence during an 11 am press conference today in his office that raise “serious questions about this case”.

Conway

Following the release of the lastest round of discovery, Conway announced there were items that were supposed to be released by the State Attorney’s office yesterday, that were not.

Since Mr. Conway has no legal standing to release anything on behalf of the State Attorney’s office, it is surmised such information was supplied by his clients, George and Cindy. George and Cindy Anthony were previously represented by Orlando attorney Mark Nejame.

I know I am a day late and a dollar short but I just finished watching
the interview with Mr. Conway in regards to the doc dump I found it
interesting and extremely upsetting that Conway even held this
interview, these feelings below are strictly my opinion to Conway’s
    answers & statements:

1-” what the Anthony’s have gone through in nothing less than hell over
the last year”, I will not ever take that away from them, loosing there
precious grandbaby must be a total nightmare, that is a fair and honest
and very sad statement, but, is the hell over loosing their grandbaby or
is the hell over the public discovering they are a bunch of liars? Or
did he mean to say the Anthony’s are going to hell and I didn’t hear
    that right?

2- he also in the same breath says “people should reserve judgment, wait
to determine what really happened”, haven’t the Anthony’s judge
EVERYONE, even honest folks who have nothing to do with this case other
then volunteering their efforts to look for their grandchild, you get
what you give, that is what I always say

3-”the Anthony’s want to get to the truth” ( want to get there?) We have
been here since day 1 Bradley

#102 Lily, my apologies for taking so long to respond. I’ve a house full of boys too, one whom is disabled, and they keep me quite busy. I keep up with the Anthony case as best I can, but sometimes don’t catch up until a day or two after the fact. Playing the devil’s advocate is a good thing, as it helps those of us who are prone to more wishful thinking, to stay focused on the facts, and I thank you for that, though I do have a few comments regarding such things as the Anthony’s destroying evidence. I will reserve those for such time as I have a bit of time to refer back to the docs, and will then look forward to your comments.

    :)

#261 Just a quick comment regarding a former law professor who was also a well seasoned public defender, Broward County, FL, in order to uphold the defendant’s right to adequate and impartial representation, as well as to protect the Constitutional rights of a defendant to a fair trial, a defense attorney will NEVER inquire of one’s guilt or innocense. Innocense is presumed from start to finish, and only a confession will change defense counsel’s course of action.

    Most humbly, Gavi.

Gavi – I look forward to your response. And I hope I didn’t come across as a negative ninny. I responded on a day that I was frustrated with this whole mess. One thing that does tend to happen on the various forums is that one person will say something like ‘the Ant’s destroyed evidence or cleaned the car’ or ‘Caylee was killed in the trunk’ or something like that and then everyone picks it up as if it was actual fact or evidence and then all assumptions after that are based on that comment. It becomes a domino effect and then it never gets corrected or verified.

Now, do I THINK that the Ant’s probably did a little ‘cleaning up’? I think they did. But I have yet to see any evidence of that – but I miss stuff all of the time – there is so much to read!

3-”the Anthony’s want to get to the truth” (want to get there?) We have been here since day 1 Bradley
4- Human Beings “Breath Life” into these documents, and the
Anthony’s suck the life out of them

    Part II

5- 3 key pages out of 1000, if Brad can only find 3 pages out of a 1000 he did not mention the other 1000′s, where is your scrutiny on those Brad “Houston we have a problem”.
6-Conway says it is not his job to defend Casey Anthony, his job is to represent George and Cindy to “find” the truth, isn’t that what the LE, FBI and PI’s are for? Also does Cindy forget about the jail house phone call when Casey was ranting about being in jail, and Cindy said ” don’t blame me your sitting in jail, blame YOURSELF for telling LIES”?

    Paert III
7- “there is overwhelming public “opinion” that Casey Anthony is guilty”, yes Brad it is an “opinion” we are all privy to that, I haven’t hung Casey on the cross yet, I believe she did it though no question in my mind, but, I am angry about all the miss-truths from your clients money making ventures and the circus that has in-sued to delay justice for their grandchild.
8-”form your opinion when these documents come to life at trial”, that sounds like advise and preparation he needs to give to his clients, not the general public.
9- OH NO here is where he lost me…”you have a Defense Team that is VERY capable of accomplishing their jobs, That’s when WE need to pay attention”. Huh? Sorry I wasn’t paying attention…
10- “it appears there is a hair that has not been matched”, has it just not been matched to Casey and Caylee but possibly someone else, we all have hair in our house from visitors, delivery guys, hell I had a hair in my Broccoli Beef the other day from take from the local Chinese
takeout joint down the street. Casey had friends in and out of her car, she was in and out of friends houses, clothes on the floor, washing clothes at friends house and then sticking them in the trunk, did Casey maybe have her Wonder Woman Flag Dress stuffed in the trunk from the “anything but clothes party” and pull the tape off that homemade
ensemble in a rush to silence Caylee, and or hair from some friend at the party hair was stuck to it, this is not a bombshell, we haven’t forgotten that Casey took her friends tape and I am quite certain .neither has the SA

    Part IV
11-”I’m not going to comment on the 3rd hair cause it is not in front of me and I don’t want to be wrong”. Brad small word of advice, I brief VIP’s all the time, have your ducks in a row before a nationwide interview, it helps when you get hit with the hard questions.
12-”this was provided to the Anthony’s, because of the criticism and the difficulties they have been through in supporting their daughter”. They are not being critized on (form what I gather from most folks) for supporting their daughter, they are being critized for possible obstruction of justice, lying, defamation of character against many
folks, making blood money over lies, loving your child through a terrible time is what every parent should do, lying covering up the murder of a helpless child, plain and simple is going to pi$$ everyone off
    Part V
13-”the search is up in the air, there has been no ZG found uh…here…the search is as far reaching, the focus is Puerto Rico”, how big is that island anyways (3435 square miles) How many is Florida (65795 square miles) hmmmmmm? Has DC EVER Gone there. You know the Anthony’s do have a new boat, have they taken a boat trip there, could explain the great tans and fine fake jewels? Does Brad really believe this ZG that Crasey speaks of?
14-did Brad just say “the Anthony’s want a complete investigation”? Hello people where have you been for the last 14 months, on one of those Russian Trips to Outer Space, they can afford one now. Thanks to CBS.
15-on digging up dirt on RK, it is ok for CA and DC to dig up dirt on RK, but how dare the state dig up dirt on Casey, drop the charges against Casey it is an outrage you are holding this poor liar on frivolous murder charges, you should be ashamed. ;-)

I am really pi$$ed now and I am only at the half way mark

    Part VI
16-(?)are the Anthony’s interfering? (answer) “absolutely not” did Brad forget that George barged into Mr. Nejames Office and interfered just a few short weeks ago, bet they forget Cindy gave the wrong hair brush to LE, not to mention the lie about the rotten pizza smell in the trunk,
you mean empty pizza box Cindy??
17- didn’t Casey say she had been “Reaching” in her police interview back in the beginning, wonder who she learned that from? Brad just said the email attacks from CA and DC in regards to RG were due to “Reaching”

Uh oh someone is starting to sweat 16 minutes in, Kathi Belich please get in your purse and hand Brad a hanky.

18-now “the Anthony’s want Casey to be presumed innocent” ummmm she has been from the start that is why she is in jail waiting for a trial and not in prison on death row, whatever the court of public opinion is doesn’t mean squat. They ask for people to reframe from making comments on her guilt, I ask you Mr. & Mrs. Anthony to reframe from lying and begin standing for your murdered grandbaby, what’s fare is fare right

    Part VII
19-(?)what is the strongest piece of evidence, (answer) most obvious duct tape on gas cannot apparently not the same as at the crime scene,(?) does that mean Casey couldn’t get duct tape somewhere else (answer) I can’t answer, that is not a reasonable question, you can get duct tape anywhere, my sentiments exactly Mr. Conway.
20-(?)why are you seizing on these things if they are so incomplete, (answer)”this has been flowing all along, why LP commented at this point is beyond me, now we’re at the point of serious question, this is the
opportune moment”, that was not word for word, he lost me in the middle what does LP have to do with what was asked by the reporter, looks to me like he was reading answers typed up by his secretary Cindy.
21- on the issue of Cindy still looking for a live Caylee, as mad as Cindy makes me I don’t blame her for hoping that there was a mistake that it wasn’t Caylee, I still wish my Gramma was still here and I miss her, she has been gone for 23 years. I think that is the first time in
this whole interview that Brad made some sense, I believe Cindy misses Caylee, but, in some sick and twisted way she seems to forget about her when she goes to the bank.

    Part IX
22-(?) is there an active search in Puerto Rico for ZG by DC (answer) “I can’t comment”…why Brad? Is it because there isn’t? I don’t think Brad wanted to lie about that one, good answer Brad cover your rear….
23- And my Favorite Comment from Brad is this ” I think too much was said to early”

    which one:
a:”I found my daughters car today and there smells like there’s been a
dead body in the damn car”
b:”My daughters been missing for a MONTH”
c:”I work at Universal Studio’s as an event coordinator”
d:”I found out what was making my car stink, there were dead squirrels plastered to the front of my car”
e:”my baby is with the Ghost Nanny”
    *******************************
And on and on, please feel free to add your own…
So in conclusion, this is not the end of the doc dump, this is such a
premature interview and I am still trying to figure out why Mr. Conway
fell in this trap the way he did.

on the bottom posted video from MSNBC did I just hear the reporter say that the one hair found with Caylee was indeed not either Casey’s or Caylee? I listened to his statement 3 times, is that true? I never heard that before?

Kleat #286 & #287 Oh you are too funny and naughty beyond words, what do you think would stick? I think the LE is throwing “absolutely” everything out there: If you give ‘em enough rope! Oh my gosh, It’s gettin’ to that don’t you think?

  15. Alberta Rose says:

Sorry Kleat, # 287 First of all you would have to have a job and I am sure, making more than minimum wage to even “afford a Nanny”, not sure what minimum wage pays, but didn’t Casey say somewhere that her Nanny was well paid…about $400.00 per week. There is no way in heaven or he@@ that she paid that kind of money for any kind of Childcare. Would she not want to use it as a tax write-off??? I think “Justice Finally”, it’s commin’!!

  16. MsEnscene says:

Alberta, — I love Casey’s Grandma Shirley’s comment to her sister in which she said, “Cindy says Casey spends more than she makes!” Shocking the cost of nannies nowadays.

  17. Gavriella says:

#304 Awww. You didn’t come off as a negative ninny! This is what defending and debating the in law is all about isn’t it? Point, counterpoint. ;-) You helped to clear my head, and after having re-listened to George’s OCSO interviews I would change my wording from destroying evidence to tampering with evidence, which would include the removal of the car, itself, from Amscot, inasmuchas it was that both George, the former cop, and Nurse Cindy were well familiar with the odor of decomp, and initially and openly admitted to that being what the odor emitting from the car seemed to be. According to George, while even several feet away from the vehicle he and the employee of Amscot who accompanied him to the car, noticed the stench and commented on it. Upon opening the door he was certain and could proceed no further until such time as he asked for the employee’s assistance in opening the trunk. He expected to find, he said, either the body of his daughter or grandchild contained therein. At that point, in my opinion, he was legally bound to stop what he was doing, consider the vehicle evidence in a crime, and alert authorities. (Reasonable expectation considering his experience). Rather than to have done so, however, he proceeded to open the trunk, and I am certain that he thanked his lucky stars that the employee attributed the stench to the garbage bag which he tossed in the dumpster, and which was later retrieved. I read this several times, in various docs, there was NO food in the car, only empty containers, with the exception of the brown liquid that was in a bottle of what was it? Crystal Light? I don’t recall now. As you said, there is so much to read and watch, but in the interview George clearly describes sticking his nose down close to the basketball sized stain that was positioned to the left of center and still likened that to smell of human decomp, not rotting pizza. It’s curious then as to what caused the infestation of flies and maggots, even in that authorities were not able to reproduce flies and maggots upon testing pizza. Pizza just plumb dries out.

It is of no good service to me, and wreaks havoc with my objectivity, having been a paramedic for quite some time, knowing that upon death a person’s bowels are oftentimes spilled out, which would well explain the flies and maggots if not from the decaying body of lifeless child. It doesn’t take long, especially in balmy Florida, for flies to converge, and were there any maggots remaining within the trunk after Caylee was removed, they would have sprouted their wings and buzzed around within the trunk, at Amscot, until such time as George set them free. Of course, this is all pure speculation.

I am curious to know if there was any evidence as to Caylee’s hair being in a pony tail when her remains were found, for during the interview George stated that on the 16th, when Casey and Caylee left the house, Caylee’s hair was in a pony tail. In the photographs taken of her at Tony’s her hair was not in a pony tail, as I recall. Casey didn’t always put her hair into a pony tail. I say this because I believe that had she died on the 16th her hair would most likely have been in a pony tail. See how my mind just envelops this stuff, and so much of it is, again, pure speculation. I can’t help it. I’ve seen it, lived it, breathed it a dozen times over, and it irritates me to no end that no charges have been brought against George and Cindy, but I have to tell you, that I do believe George will crack, because I honestly believe he loved that little girl, and poured out his soul to OCSO and the FBI, initially. He just couldn’t stop talking/venting. He’s being prepped now by Baez and his crew, but let’s see what happens at trial, or as Blink says, when proof of prints on the tape comes out. I’ve been kicking myself for believing, all this time, that there were prints on that tape, when the evidences we’ve seen thus far would indicate otherwise, though all of that info only rules out George, Cindy and Lee, not Casey. I cannot wait!

As for the alleged one lone hair that neither belongs to Caylee or Casey, I say so? SO? And? Casey trucked Caylee just all over the place, so who’s to say Tony’s hair, or Amy’s hair, or who knows whose hair travelled along with her from either Casey’s car or one of their apartments? This is no big deal, I do suppose.

O my. I got carried away again, didn’t I? My apologies. I’ll keep reading and writing as I have time, in order to address each of your counterpoints, and in the meantime, like everyone else, I join you in your prayers and hopes for Caylee.

    Thanks.
    Gavi

P.S. To further complicate the matter of the car, and during the first part of the taped interview with authorities, George stated (under oath I do believe) that he and Cindy found (in the car/trunk) several pairs of shoes, a backpack, a purse, the pair of slacks, diapers, and two plastic crates that contained hangers, all of which he and Cindy removed from the car prior to contacting authorities, and in fact the detective interviewing George stated that they did not have all of the items he mentione, as they were not in the car when OCSO took possession of it. They had to return to the house to collect these items. Regardless, everything stunk of death, and overwhelmingly so, so it’s doubtful (though not provable perhaps) that Cindy washed nothing more than the slacks. From other evidence it’s been suggested that the trunk of the car was cleaned out prior to OCSO taking possession of it. In my opinion, then, and I am no expert, the car itself is evidence of the crime and George and Cindy tampered and or otherwise destroyed (as in the slacks) evidences contained therein. I welcome your insight!
