Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: The Tattoo Is “Caylee” Related- And a Clue?

Orlando, FL– Late this afternoon, after pouring over 1400 pages of discovery, a contributor to blinkoncrime.com caught my attention.

Could Casey’s tattoo yield clues into the disappearance of Caylee Marie Anthony as long suspected?

Casey told Lee Anthony her tattoo was “Caylee related” during a jail house visit, although she stated there were no further clues associated with it. She chose the stars because Caylee loved the stars. JoJo would hold her up outside to show them to her at night.

However, comparing the image of her actual tattoo, and that of the Art it was based on uncovered during an interview with On the Record Host, Greta Van Sustern, there is a discrepancy.

CaseyTattooCompare

The tat on Casey Anthony’s left shoulder is missing a “dot” in the Northern most star of the design. What could that mean?

Was she paying tribute to 34 month old Caylee Marie, who did not make it to her 3rd birthday at her hand, by filling in only 2?

Was she honing her “script” whereby the missing “dot” in the star is some sort of validation of the timer 55 theory, or that Caylee would be home by her birthday so she could “connect the dot” in celebration?

One thing is certain, although she was in custody on and off for nearly a year, OCSO only imaged that tattoo a few weeks ago, why?

What did they recently learn?

So now I am convinced. The murder of Caylee took place on the 15th, not long after the altercation with Cindy. It was an act of rage which occurred in Casey’s bedroom, and the tape was meant to silence her. Cindy didn’t tuck her in on the 15th, and George didn’t see her on the 16th. But for the tape from the nursing facility, I’d think Caylee died on the 9th.

  4. Gavriella says:

Suz, what chance is there that Caylee might have been struggling? That Casey her pinned down on the bed, sideways?

I know we don’t like to think, or even accept, such cruelties. But I’ve been in the streets, and this just seems feasible to me.

Leave it to Casey to write

With great power, comes great consequence

    It should read….

With great power, comes great responsibility

Guess she did not know the difference.

Hey Kleat re 344 – that shovel idea would be a dream come true. I’m thinking that it must be a dream though. LE returned the shovel quite quickly no? If it was an oversight and some bearing has come to light I wonder where that would leave things from an evidentiary perspective. The other thing that doesn’t resonate with me about Burner’s shovel is the timing, Burner’s proximity and Casey’s appearance and demeanour. Also I have to admit the prospect that Casey was shoveling her daughter around is repulsive in the extreme.

Re the defense players and strategy and I use that term loosely – what gives? Baez apart these people are not totally stupid morons. What the hell could be going on? There is that old saying throw it out there and see what sticks. And then there is that saying that it is like clapping shit to a wheel. It just keeps coming back at you.

#372-Joan (canada) You made a great observation about the 48 Hours promo you saw. If we can believe what Lee told LE on day one — that Cindy looked at Casey and said “What have you done?”, then Cindy’s statement on that promo “Why didn’t you come to me?” is proof positive that she’s lying. Those two statements go from one extreme (you’re an irresonsponsible mother) to the other (you should have come to me honey because I’m a good mother and we have a good relationship). Another example of Cindy totally changing the story to fit her idea of how/why things happened. For those people who have not been following this case — and I’m sure there are millions of them out there — they will see that line and think that Cindy is the best, caring mom ever. They will never know the true statement that was made like we do because no one is brave enough to confront the A’s — ever!

I agree with Blink, the date of the 16th does seem a bit shady, however I was thinking more like the day before on the 15th as opposed to the 16th as George allegedly declared in seeing them leave the house. It couldn’t have been the 9th however because LE verified that Caylee was in fact at the nursing home with Cindy visiting her great grandpa in Mt. Dora on the 15th … Father’s Day. Naturally, I would say if we just had to rely on Cindy’s tape for the date it could’ve been altered in some way and it might not be written in stone, but I believe in the docs it shows a few other people at the nursing home actually saw Cindy/Caylee sign in together so Caylee was in fact there that day.

My thinking is still that a fight ensued as Lee had originally stated after they returned from the nursing home and that was quite possibly the nail in the coffin for Caylee. That said though, I still believe wholeheartedly that Casey had planned it months before … it’s just that the ensuing fight between Casey and her mom gave her motive to do it maybe sooner than originally planned, hence why she was so sloppy in some arenas in the coverup. My thoughts are that Casey had maybe planned Caylee’s “going away” for a little later than it actually happened, but the circumstances with Cindy prompted her to do it sooner … maybe in a fit of rage, maybe not. 13. Gavriella says:

#413 Agreed. My mention of the 9th was due only to the fact that in the beginning the Anthony’s were adamant as to that being the last day they saw Caylee. It blows me away that they wouldn’t have gotten that right, considering there was a video from the 15th, as well as taking into account the anxiety Cindy was feeling, well enough to have created a My Space page and written what she did about Casey having taken Caylee away. That’s bazaar. You’d think that Cindy, of all people, wouldn’t have had to be reminded of the date.

I was giving George the benefit of the doubt until I read the depo. In it he says (and this is key) that he and Cindy made Caylee breakfast on the morning of the 16th, whereas Cindy said she didn’t see either Casey or Caylee but what, heard them sleeping? I believe Caylee was dead by then. I believe she died of suffocation, from the duct tape, in Casey’s bed, and that Casey placed the heart shaped sticker as an after thought, “Sorry I killed you but here’s a sticker to make me feel better.” and later, “O, and here’s a tattoo to commemorate you. But doesn’t it look good on me?” Because of the way the tape was placed, stuck up into her hair, and that, to one side, I believe there was a stuggle, I believe Caylee fought, and Casey made sure her cries wouldn’t be heard, not ever again. The following day she would have been waiting for George to leave so that she could get rid of the body which she would have had to bag. The laundry bag would have been convenient, in that it may have been in her room. Kill her. Drop her into the laundry bag. Leave or stay. Wait for morning and George to go to work. I also believe that she fully intended to bury Caylee in the back yard, knowing George was going to pour concrete. As for the pool ladder? Who knows, it could have been an oversight. We’ve all become distracted and have forgotten to do something, like unplug the iron or turn off the stove before we left the house?

But anyway, this is all so sad, and causes me to hope and pray all the more that by some great miracle of God Haleigh will be found alive.

  14. Gavriella says:

#327 Gosh, my brother lives in Lynn Haven and it’s a darn good thing this didn’t happen there, because he’d still be outside the Anthony home screaming for justice! But then, he has to listen to me go on and on … sigh.

  15. MsEnscene says:

#413 Justice, I am with you on the date of Caylee’s demise being the 15th. If indeed there was a fight with choking and screaming that night, I can’t see Casey just going to bed and cuddling in bed as usual with Caylee after the fight. I can see her grabbing Caylee in a rage and fleeing the scene, parking somewhere near the Anthony house, and losing it with Caylee. Caylee would have been in a hysterical state and crying for her grandmother — something to put Casey in an over the top rage.

I’ve never believed a word of anything George says about seeing them on the 16th, but can’t quite figure out how my theory fits in to computers and pings and phones, etc. I just believe the Anthonys had to erase a motive for Casey killing her child…the fight. It is important to the Anthonys that Caylee was seen alive on the 16th. Just my take.

  16. Gavriella says:

Has anyone else found any other conflicting statements such as George saying that he and Cindy made Caylee breakfast on the morning of the 16th, whereas Cindy said she didn’t see them? Just wondering.

Tons. I am going to do a piece on it I think.

    YES, I saw that too!!!

    I finally finished reading Georges’s.

Pg. 182 George says they never made the suggestion to go and get Caylee so she didn’t have to stay overnight at the sitters. What?! My parents did that. My aunts and uncles did that for their grandchildren. Thought that was a weird comment.

Pg. 185 George says he “trusted” Caysee. The first 150 some pages is all about him “investigating” her because of her lies.

Pg. 192 bothers me. When George says he saw her on the 24th….. “she was all bubbly and excited.” Let’s say for argument sake they did seee each other at the house ont he 24th. She’ BUBBLY and EXCITED????? Wouldn’t he THINK about that later and think that is weird?! There is no desteration, no worry, she shows no fear from losing her child to a kidnapper.

Pg. 194 Detective mode sounds off again.

Pg. 195 he caught her in a bold face lie. He confronts her!!! Thought he trusted her???????

Pges 206-211 George is hammered again about the gas cans. I do believe he is caught uner oath in a lie…………

Pg. 228 George says he never removed ANYTHING from the Car. But, I thought I read elsewhere that he stated he removed the battery. hmmmmmmm…..

Something else bothers me. On page 233 and 234 he says that when he pulled up he saw Cindy in the driveway, she tells him Caysee is missing, and then alludes to holding her while she cries, then tells her they MUST go in and call the police again……ok………..But, I re-listened to the last 911 call. I specifically hear George coming in and being informed at that very moment Caylee is missing….and he is SO SCHOCKED…..did I miss somethng here?

No, I would say your getting all of it- plan a decompression activity for later.

  18. Randie says:

Pg. 251-253 George says that he never had any reason to doubt his daughter about things (whatever!). He then corrects the one asking the questins and says the only time he has distrusted her is when it was work related. What??! The 4,400.00 fake deposit slip wasn’t work related!!!

Pg. 258 George says Caysee “could do SO much more when out of Jail…” So he was aked what was this “so much more” that she got accomplished. Line 16 says that George comments that she gave no real information to help them……hmmmmmmmm……..

Lines 18-21 says it all…………….. “I will sell my soul to the Devil to get her out of Jail.” hmmmmmm……………..

  19. Randie says:

In one of my last comments, George hears Cinday say that Caylee is missing (not Caysee) opps.

  20. Gavriella says:

Sigh. It’s just tape. Of course I had duct tape. I never paid attention to the brand. Maybe it came from our home. Maybe it didn’t. This one I really love, the tape was there, then it wasn’t, but it was really, only gone, then it was back again, but I didn’t put it on there, because that tape’s a mess, and I would have been a whole lot neater! Paraphrasing. On and on it goes, and where it stops nobody knows. Bring in the clowns. There’s got to be … clowns … and they are all Anthonys.

Would anyone know if there are any posters remaining of Caylee, with perhaps duct tape attached? That should clear up the matter of where this particular tape came from. There will be prints all over that.

It is my understanding that in fact, there have been both signs and duct tape recovered- inside source, we’ll see.

Lines 18-21 says it all…………….. “I will sell my soul to the Devil to get her out of Jail.”

Well … looks like ol’ Georgie succeeded in at least part of his mission … he’s definitely sold his soul to the devil all right. As for getting Casey out of jail? Well, me thinks that will come next summer when she gets transferred to a maximum security prison to await her death penalty in hopefully the general population. Justice for Caylee!

Sorry Randie … misquoted the number in the post … it’s #419, not #418 .. my bad {:(

  23. MsEnscene says:

Yep, George has a fit about the way the tape is put on over the hole in one of the gas can after LE returns it. HE always puts the tape on so neatly. Just one piece to NEATLY cover the round hole in the can and not in a SLOPPY manner like the piece of tape on the can when he got it back from LE! No siree, he’d never put tape on that can like that. “Not my style.” Can a man be more transparent?

I’d love to see him on video TAPE talking about his TAPE.

This is from OrlandoSentinel website from Hal the TV guy’s blog. Anyone hear anything new on Lee? According to Hal, something came out last week about the details that Lee knows of.

It is quite popular for gangbangers to get tattoos of three dots. either on the hands or the elbows. It means mi vida loca, or, my crazy life. But three dots in gang culture can also reffer to the three I’s, Injury, Incarceration, and Intrement. As they believe that they will end up either going to jail, laying in the hospital, or getting killed. Just thought it was interesting since Casey seemed to be facinated by gang culture, even though she was no gangster.

I find it hilarious that this many people have spent this much time posting this many comment about something that has absolutely no importance or relevance what so ever. Did you see the hack tattoo artist?? He forgot to put in a dot, and being that its on her back shoulder she probably never even noticed. Being someone who is covered in tattoos I can say there have been several times I, days later, was looking at new work Ive had done and realized “oh, this line didnt get connected” or “hmmm, I wonder why this isnt done like I asked”… You people crack me up to think that something as retarded as this topic is such a big deal. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH A DEAD CHILD OR THE SELFISH HOOKER WHO DID IT. P.S. Hey blink, long time no see…

Lordy- a tad strong, no? I happen to disagree with you, I think it is relevant to Casey, but in the scheme of things, would really only go to “knowledge” she was deceased. Uhoh, Im progressing the dialog against your opinion.

  28. Findingthisfunny says:

Inane banter and debating on stuff like this grinds my gears. I think the tattoo may be relevant in the sense that it could be a “mile marker” type of thing. Could symbolize her freedom, her new life, her daughters “beautiful life” etc etc etc… Im just saying the people who are thinking it had some deep highly cloaked clandestine secret meaning to leaving the dot out need to take it easy with the CSI episodes… All I have to say is the funniest thing I have ever heard was the people trying to find secret meaning of the whole “Vader McGirth” thing or the PS88 thing… Psalm 88, “the darkest of Psalms”… still cracks me up…

I will give you that- But that’s because you knew what it meant- It’s like playing hide and seek but you know where to look.
