Yes justiceformorgan, thanks for watching. He looked familiar to everyone. That blonde by him is Dee, just as Blink says. .

Just rewatched The HBB- next to guy in gray cap, can not be Morgan if her long sleeves were white. If you watch really closely you can see the long white sleeves and orange wrist band, ect around 2:47. She/He is there during lights up (I was mistaken earlier), at 2:47 she/he just isn’t Headbanging yet. If Morgan’s long sleeves weren’t white than that means all have been eliminated as Morgan except for HBB next to drum kit.

Blink, I know you must be tired of the same questions ect. I never thought I would revisit these videos agian either. I know where Dee is in the video. She never moves too far from this spot/area during all the videos I have watched. I was trying to point out the Blondes that were Head banging wildly in separate areas. They are definitely not Dee. Possibly Morgan? IDK

I hope LE is aware of the 2 HBB.

Blink: Do you see Morgan Dana Harrington on any of these videos?

Fish, I heart u, I have commented before on what videos may be Morgan, and in fairness to the other cases I am preparing, I simply can’t do the video redo. Don’t put smelts in my backseat please :)

    Observer -

Your response (3/3 @ 11:14 pm) to Pepper’s poignant (and maddening) post (3/3 @ 9:37 pm) – stemming from total amateur’s 11:54 a.m. excellent commentary on the outrageously disproportionate-to-the-crime rape sentences often handed down… (Though, I wasn’t crying into my hot-pretzel when that Giant hit the ground with a boom.)
    But I digress:

Thank you all for that crescendo of a conversation – everyone should go back and read those three comments again – in a row. And, O, as the Blue Ladies (or whatever our bizzaro cheer squad would be called), are all hangin’ with the cool kids on a thread up north of here, you should come by (if you haven’t already — mainly because I’d love to close this thread on your parting note:

“… Together, we can stand up (for women) and make a difference…in Morgan’s memory. Where her voice can no longer be heard, let ours ring loud and clear and strong.”

Mom3.0, I noticed the guy “the familiar looking one” spoke with before walking away has quite interesting posture and also appears to have made an interesting choice of garments to wear to a Metallica concert. If he was involved, I’d peg him as “the follower” :)

  8. suz says:

Morgan wouldn’t have a wristband as she was too young to buy beer (I’m thinking the wristband is the what they put on you when you produce a valid ID showing you are of drinking age; no wristband, no brewskis).

  9. Phyl says:

Pepper, I just read your jogging story (I’m all over the place.)
All I can say is OH MY GOD!!!!! You are one lucky lady. WTH!!!
There are so many sickos out there! I’ve had some scary experiences too, but I’ve never been brazenly stalked like that (at least not that I know of.) Seriously, Legalized Hunting Season on Sex offenders is looking better and better every story I read here. I’m going to write my congressman. You and I can hunt together. With the right surveillance equipment and coordinated communication I’m sure we’ll bag a 175 pounder with one shot. And it aint the heart I’ll be aiming for. Oh, I too have my fantasies. TIK TOK, TIK TOK, BANG! GOT EM.

  10. Phyl says:

Oh God, I forgot about this.
My husband and I went to the Meadowlands Flea Market with my two little stepdaughters a few years back. My husband saw something he liked at a table and stopped to check it out. The girls and I walked ahead, stopping at different tables checking out all the stuff. All of a sudden my husband comes up and grabs us all by the arms and said, “we’ve got to go.” He didn’t want to scare the girls, so he took us home. He later told me that on his way to catch up with us, he saw this man following me and the girls, stopping at the tables we stopped at and moving when we did. He was eyeing our littlest one (who was such a gorgeous cherub). When he saw my husband he took off. My husband went back to the Meadowlands and spoke to an officer about it later on. He should have reported it immediately, but he was freaked out. So I guess “I” (well being with my stepdaughter) was stalked, but I wouldn’t have known if my husband didn’t witness the whole thing. Very frightening. I don’t even let my cat out.

  11. Concerned Mom says:

Yes, you get a wristband at JPJ if you are 21 or older and want to drink.

  12. Pepper says:

Observer, thank you for your comments on my post. I am glad to know that they now have rape shield laws. I used to volunteer (again, back in the 70′s) at a Rape Crisis Center. Many of the young girls wouldn’t press charges because of the crap that the defense attorneys put them through. So very glad to hear that that has changed. I want to do something to help educate young women about how to be safe. I, too see so many young girls with headsets running in the early evening in the dark. Some running down back rural roads. I am telling every young women I can think of to read the book, “The Gift of Fear.” Such a great book. I keep telling my 16 yr old daughter to be aware and she has to read this book. I find that most young girls don’t want to hear this stuff. It really bothers me that they want to ignore it. I told my daughter that I don’t want her to be scared out of her mind, I want to empower her to be aware and to stay safe. Maybe we can all do something together, like an annual conference or a you tube info video or something (maybe in Morgan’s name, but only if the Harringtons o.k. it) to help educate young people.

I heard that John Walsh was on GMA- sorry I missed it. He is going to be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow. Does anyone know what he met with President Obama about? I hope it was to have a federal DNA database and a federal law to put the violent rapists away for life.

  13. Becky says:

    To: Kathy 3/30/10 @ 5:30 p.m.

Kathy, I seem to remember that Marc Evonitz’s father refused to let LE have DNA from his son. I remember being upset about this. I, too, thought that he was the main suspect in the Alicia Showalter murder, but didn’t know whether it was ever proven.

  14. Phyl says:

Pepper said, “Maybe we can all do something together, like an annual conference or a you tube info video or something (maybe in Morgan’s name, but only if the Harringtons o.k. it) to help educate young people.”

Pepper, I’m in. I’d volunteer my time for such a worthy cause. I’d suggest finding teenage and college-age spokespeople to deliver the message though, as it seems that the kids listen to other kids their age before they listen to us older people.

  15. DesertGirl says:

John – nope, never heard of the David Bass/Heavy Metal Farmer, and, quite candidly, I thought you were pulling my leg. Too ironic, the name, ya think? Alas, I googled and found him and LOVE IT!!! TRACTOOOOOOR! Too funny.

  16. SeattleWatching says:

RE: mom3.0 Her black pantera shirt was found in the bushes of an apartment complex, so maybe she was at a preconcert party got too drunk which is why she didnt drive, she met someone and who knows….but she switched shirts, maybe it was whomever she was with. so when looking at videos searching for her in a black shirt is why she is not seen. Oh…great I am becoming like the rest of the posters here now shooting my theories around. The way I really see it is that with the high media and local attention and pressure on this case if they had even a little bit of useful evidence someone would have altleast been brought in for questioning but from what I can tell that has not been done. If an arrest was imminent it would have happened by now, sorry to say but unless there is a confession all of these theories are as good as reading a fiction book. I guess it would explain why your area has soooo many unsolved crimes, rapes and missing persons. If i were a state resident I would start making noise in the media and demand a new chief of police and prosecutor….you folks are making noise in the wrong place. It is your own justice system that is at fault here.

  17. Mom3.0 says:

justiceformorgan, Yes. In one of Blink’s previous threads, before Morgan was found, we had all discussed this video. We were never able to 100% identify anyone, except for Dee. Sorry I can’t point you to the exact thread. See you guys on the new thread. Hopefully there will be arrests soon.

Thoughts and prayers for The Harrington’s

  18. Mom3.0 says:

SeattleWatching, Just saw your post, I don’t want to move on without addressing your post.

I agree, it is very hard to know exactly what to watch for in these videos. At this point I do not even know what good could come out of seeing her there, except to prove Morgan was there. I believe this is one of the reasons LE stated (PP) Its only important to know what became of Morgan once she was in the P.Lot.

I think LE is working very hard behind the scenes. I do not think demanding a new chief of police would have much effect on Morgan’s case.
As to sounding like the rest of us, throwing possible theories around, debunking what we can. I say welcome to BOC. Dr. Harrington stated that LE finds these posts helpful. So all I can do is lend my mind to the purpose of finding and bringing Morgan’s killers to Justice. See you on the new thread Seattle, your help is needed.

i agree with SeattleWatching … when the constituents of a region, county, city, area, etc. are on the ball and contributing and for such a lengthy period of time (i do realize that 5 months is not really a long time regarding cases), but there really is not a two way street with LE, then there must be changes to the infrastructure. hey, i am from Texas and i know we don’t have great track records for anything (especially education 48 out of 50 in rank), but as the rest of the world knows … we shoot first and ask questions later. pro-active versus re-active. from an outsider perspective, it sure does seem like Virginia is in the news a lot regarding violent crimes, unsolved abductions and murders, and other reactive tragedies. i mean, this is the home of the CIA, close to Washington DC. the area still considers itself “the south”. the south does not include Virginia anymore. this is an obvious disconnect between university, state and federal authorities. i don’t know what that is and/or where the laws can be changed to combat the discrepancies, but by now there should be some serious leads and activity in the investigation whether the public is privy or not. why would the FBI ever be apart of the investigation if you can’t even expedite DNA / Tox results. 6 months? really? a baby is made in 9? i mean come on now, it seems like it is long overdue to the fine people of Virginia to be the beneficiaries of the best that law enforcement has to offer. if people were like “Virginia is so strict with their laws because there is so much law enforcement” … wouldn’t that be expected for the region. it is like terrorism … you have to make it so terrible for a person to commit a crime against a citizen, that they will really have to think twice.

  21. keekee says:

    hey pepper and phyl -

a bunch o blinkers were discussing that very idea you just mentioned about doing something in honor of morgan to help young kids and adults stay safe…

so i was thinkin and batting the idea around about a video series illustrating different concert scenarios that could be dangerous and tips about avoiding them and/or extricating oneself from them

there are lots of important safety tips for music festivals, especially ones with camping involved over a few days

then you’ve got run of the mill arena concerts where the number one alert should be informing attendees that they cannot reenter the venue if they leave

can’t forget the main street local sardine can packed concert venues

safety tips could include how one gets to venue, where to park, how they leave, etc. for example, i bet most teens and college students don’t know how dangerous it is to walk between a parked van and another car. someone can get snatched into a side door before they blink.

I have to know the TRUTH after the arrests are made ,before I can move past their
“LACK OF ANYTHING” both before and AFTER Morgan’s murder.

Still prayin that your pooch comes back to you!

    AS for EMH…
Ya think he was livin in Crozet or the house that burned down?
FWIW, I read a discussion from one of the Newpaper articles about the fire, and the actual GIRLS that lived there were debating posters that were
asking why they were movin out in the middle of the year, their suspicions etc.
Their reply was that it was a chimney fire I think, but the main part “she said that all 3 of them were 3 best friends and they found that it wasn’t workin livin together,
and they wanted to keep their friendship in tact. Who knows if that is even true. sorry don’t have link.

I am still not ruling out the fire of Sheriff Willie’s death.

Fish…I agree about stringing EMH up if he admitted it, but
there HAS to be a MORE POWERFUL AUTHORITY FIGURE
controlling this whole thing. Whether it is a parent, LE, EMT, Fire Captain,
Rich whatever. This person is what is keepin everyone quiet. I dont think EMH is smart enough to carry this out by himself.

My feeling is that it was kids partying, drugs, attempted sexual advances,
rage,… I think it got out of hand, and there was a horrific ending.

people like this are not normal, so I’m not so sure how much THOUGHT went into AFarm-except he knew it, and it was close. Just my opinion, but I don’t think some sicko “planned to go trolling for vulnerable women, searched for a girl to kill that night, and place her on the farm.” It all just happened.

    Blink…GREAT article!
I’m sure you had NO IDEA that so many people would MISUNDESTAND It! Wow!

seattlewatching, let’s play FACT or FALLACY?

Today’s question: MORGAN’s Pantera shirt was found in the bushes outside some apartment building.

Answer: I don’t think we actually know, but early info suggested that it was the wrong kind of Pantera shirt (different design than the one we think she was wearing). Unless someone out there in Blinkland has some solid info (with a link), we can’t call it a fact at this time, so let’s say FALLACY.

  28. Jim M says:

Cosmo’s: no way. The only role girls played in this is *&%$#@ friends. Maybe they took some drug–SS “We wouldn’t have done it if we didn’t think it was okay. Now obviously we wish things had taken place differently,“ Sarah told me. “It’s been one of the worst experiences ever,“ she added. Or maybe they just suck–a kiss and a questionable text later. Regardless–I’m one in the opinion that the friends and JPJ and Metallica et al, are to blame. If I have a party I am responsible for everyones well being, if I bartend, their are DRAM Laws that hold me responsible. Just because I put up 50k doesn’t equate with responsibility. I’m sure some douche metal head will argue differently–what-evs bro–I’m right on this one.
Back to Cosmos– Girls can be a lot of things and despite the lameness of the 8–I don’t think they had anything to do directly with MH murder. Yes they left her out in the cold–and yes their behavior post 10/17 sucks– hardcore. But the real blame lies with the local DB who carried out this crime. I worked with sexual offenders so I know who we are dealing with. The smirk on John Albert Gardner III face in his mug shot tells it all. These aren’t bad people on the surface–they are fake, manipulative, pieces of &^%$. And I think people expect them to be evil or extreme on the surface–they are not. The are charming, smart, gentle, etc. They lure you in and know when you are weak and then they strike. IF VSP has a POI they need to act now! I live in VA and I have seen the RSO in my town and I am angry. Because I know that mentality and we should be alarmed as a community–look across America in the past year alone. It’s out of control!

Sorry Blink– another late night rant. Hopefully justified. At least my heart is in the right place–here with all you fellow blinkers,

An insight: Last November I contacted VSP b/c I thought I saw someone fitting the description of Morgan in Northern VA. The amazing VSP followed up and contacted me back within days. I now know I was mistaken. My niece turned 21 last December. She looks a lot like Morgan. Since day one I have felt connected to this case. And after reading Dan and Gil’s posts–perhaps the two had a lot more in common than I ever realized. So I admit I am and have been thoroughly invested not only b/c of the similarities but b/c also I feel I have gotten to know MH ( as much as anyone can given the circumstances) over these past five months–like most of you, I am sure. I have had the sleepless nights, the worried days, and the angry late nights. Like tonight. I am, like many of you, frustrated b/c justice remains one step away from us and Morgans’s family. I, like many of you, log on to Blink, or other sites hoping, praying, and searching for that one clue that might bring us closer.

Tonight’s one of those nights that I came home from work angry, sad, and alone with my thoughts of Morgan in that field, alone–No one to fight for for her, no one to defend her. I’m so angry at the thought of that–

So here I am, with all the hope I can muster to try and piece this together–like all of you–I am sure.

Sky-So sorry to hear about your little dog. Suggestion: Put an ad (as large and prominent as you can afford) in the appropriate section of your local paper(s), and offer a reward for finding your pet. (again, as high a reward as you can manage) Money talks, and may be another way to find your little pal. Ask local schools if they will allow you to put up “reward/have you seen posters” on hallway bulletin boards. Also, put up same poster in beauty parlors and 7-11 stores, etc.

  30. Minnie Penney says:

This “chemical castration” – what, a pill a day?? Well, that dog don’t hunt…CUT ‘EM !! I mean OFF GONE NADA !

  31. Minnie Penney says:

VERY OT fellow Virginians – what are we going to do without UKROPS ??I’ll starve…not that dropping a few lbs. would be bad for me… They started in VA in 1929 and now they’ve sold out. I think they have stores in Roanoke…Chesapeake….all over. Worse, they are the only place that carries Fresh Pet Select (minpin food) I may have to go back to cooking chicken, peas and carrots (I hope Birdseye doesn’t fold) sorry for the OT

  32. cosmo says:

the reason i say a female or female(s) are involved is that i believe that is why the camera is missing, the boots are missing, and there has been such a disconnect with evidence. when i say involved, it could be when she leaves the area of JPJ to go with 4 boys … i think there was a female other than Morgan with the party of people responsible for her demise. it just doesn’t make sense for her to leave, hitchhike, get a ride from the arena to another place. i just don’t believe that a female college student with an education in this day and age would knowingly go with a group of boys … even if she knew one of them on a causal / acquaintance level. again … there is a disconnect … the pieces don’t add up, which means, the 20 year old RSO is smarter than university police, VSP, and The FBI together. so there is more than one person involved with the cover up / disposal and i just am thinking outside the box with there being another female present somewhere along the way. whether it is a mother (likely) or girlfriend or female friend, i think we are going to find out ultimately that one or two people (at least) murdered Morgan, but there is at least one female involved with covering.

  33. Minnie Penney says:

Cosmo, I speculated earlier about this – the police read here so I think they will explore this. But I thought her boots were at the scene – not sure, though.

  34. mike says:

I agree with Cosmo, it is likely that one or more females were involved with either Morgan’s death or the coverup. These counter-culture heavey metal type music types typically do have a social network that also consists of girls (I guess of the goth variety).

A minor pt. – these “guys in black” – has their clothing been described? I see a lot of these kids wearing very odd style black clothing with huge pants with all sorts of buckles and rivets, etc. – most distintive. Also are the very long black overcoats (like columbine shooters wore). I think they are typically called dusters. Prolly no overcoat due to the weather. My pt. is: there may be some merit in investigating the various stores that sell this type of clothing to get a handle on some of their customers. Typically this stuff is sold in some sort of “head shop” where pipes and bhongs are sold. Also, this type of person usually gets some tattoes and piercings. How about looking into these type establishments. Even if LE just inquired, it might flush out somebody when the word gets around that LE is asking questions along this line.

This is all assuming that there were the guys in black.

With each tidbit of knowledge, the potential pool of possible criminals narrows down. Then start squeezing some of the most likely suspects and their buddies, eventually somebody will screw up and let out something.

Lastly, lets say no girls involved – of course, that doesn’t mean homosexuality, but thinking way outside the box – is there an underground culture of violent type homosexuals in the C’ville area? Maybe if so, seeing a pretty girl, they decided to mess her up as they may be against such a person. Yes, I known this is whacky but lets not dismiss any potential avenue out of hand.

    just my .02, maybe .04

    Blink,

As we come to the end of this thread, I would, if it’s okay with you, like to dedicate this video to Morgan’s killer(s).

    Hey YOU!

I hope that you see Morgan’s beautiful eyes, as you took her life, forever before your face. I pray that you never have a peaceful second from that horror. You may think you’re getting by, but someone saw what you did and she (I speak of Morgan)will make sure that we know…You will pay. What goes around comes around. So, this is for you…Your days are numbered. Run but you can’t hide. Feel the fear!!!

I live in a city that is designated for sex offenders to live (North of Seattle)…..trust me I am not real happy with the politics of this state ! we have about 45 level 1, 2, 3 sex offenders…..nothing like having these freaks stand in the grocery line at the same time. One of the more notorious of them happens to live on my same street. He has a fetish for young boys so he is not supposed to be near them, this man had himself casterated on purpose because he just simply cant control himself, matter of fact he hates that he is a man because of this and with his hairy legs and hairy face you can see him around town wearing a womans dress, and lipstick. The disease of these offenders can not be changed and I commend this person for simply knowing it and wanting out of it. for those sex offenders that are released the public must be aware THEY WILL RE-OFFEND ! unless thay have it cut off it is a walking weapon that wants to seek and destroy! It is time for radical change in the us justice system when it comes to SEX OFFENDERS. Team up people….this one is gonna take allot of work, every state has different laws so It should be Federal.

  37. diogenes says:

    Two things:

    1) Re: What Cosmo said….
The first thing I “saw” when I saw my first picture of Morgan was that a girl/woman was involved. Yes, that borders on the psychic. But I “saw/felt” it very strongly. Who knows. Read Malcolm Gladwell’s book Blink! (Blink is the title!!)

    2) Good often comes from bad, and in that vein, it would be very cool if venues had a change of policy and:
    A) instead of bouncing people out, kept them from harm’s way for a bit (harm to themselves or others) and/or
    B) if they notice a patron under the influence, keep them from harm’s way, you know, for a while.
They could have a Harm’s Way Room.

Maybe it’s a naive thought, but it’s more about being our brother’s keeper. It probably calls for a bit of babysitting, but it seems doable.
    I’ll be quiet now.

I am taking it as a good sign and I hope all of you will, too. I’m not supernatural or anything like that at all, but for whatever reason I’m glad I was able to receive this. Our dear Angel Morgan is still with us and working with us to see justice. Not just for herself, but for other victims and others that will be saved from being victims. I feel very sad as I write this, but blessed at the same time.

Yesterday, as I read the following post and I’m not copying the whole thing (to not take up so much space), the song ‘In The Air Tonight’ came on the radio. As I was trying to read and listen to the song because I felt the need to do both, I was seeing in my mind a picture of Morgan’s dear mother’s arm wearing the bracelet and hearing her words ‘witnessed unspeakable things’. I feel that Morgan was telling me something. She saw who and what. She will show us. This breaks my heart. I got the feeling that she was saying too that the truth is coming, even though it is taking longer than she wants, it will come out. I needed to hear that because, I’ve been fearful the last week or two that there wasn’t enough evidence to make an arrest and it may never be found. I don’t feel that way now. Also, the song which has always been awesome, now means something different to me. Even more awesome! So here’s the post by Palerider. Like I said it’s not all here, but you can go to the new thread, if you haven’t already read it.

    To Morgan’s killer:

“And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him.”
    -Rev 6:8

    “what goes around comes around
feel it breathin’ down heavy on you
you made that bed you’re layin’ on
deeds that you have done, bow you can’y undo

“you got bones in your closet
you got ghosts in your town
ain’t no doubt, dear, they’re gonna come out
they’re waitin’ for the sun to go down

“you can’t hide from your demons
    feel them all lurkin’ around
    you’re runnin’ scared
’cause you know they’re out there
they’re waitin’ for the sun to go down

“it’s a long and hard road to hoe
    when the seeds you sow
    grow by the wicked moon
be sure your sins will find you out
your past will hunt you down
and return to tell on you
    …………

We’ve talked here about the killer reading the forum. Maybe he does or maybe not. But you can bet that someone, an accomplice, even if their only guilty of covering, still an accomplice, is reading and carrying the word to try to stay a step ahead. It won’t work. Justice is on the way!

Very well said, pale horse, pale rider and all Hell coming hard behind them.

Suz, if the shirt was a fallacy then why would detectives be interviewing
people that live in the apartment building. Because the early morning newspaper
delivery woman swore she saw Morgan there prior to shirt being found then I think it’s
much more likely to be fact …. Also the newspaper lady identified a guy with her that describes
what the guy looks like that went to the concert with them …. Hmmmm

    Seattlewatching,
We here in the Southern state of Virginia definitely have some unsolved crimes, missing persons, murders etc, but I do believe for the most part our LE is working hard to solve even the oldest of these cases. In fact, they recently found new information in a case from 18 years ago. The laws are definitely not perfect and many of us constantly lobby our local elected officials to change things, hopefully some things will change sooner than later.

Now, regarding the infamous T-shirt: The shirt was not found in the same location where the delivery woman claims she saw Morgan. Both of these locations are in the “vicinity” of UVA but are very different areas.

The delivery woman’s sighting was on UVA grounds and the shirt’s location was about 10 blocks away. Anything is possible but these are not the same location.

Also, the shirt has been described quite differently from the description that LE put out about the shirt Morgan was supposedly wearing that night.

LE has to follow up on any and all leads that may be connected to the case, which is why they interviewed the people in the 15th street apartments, and they have fully vetted all witnesses in this case. The LE themselves have never confirmed that the delivery woman’s sighting was actually Morgan. There have been quite a few witness sightings that were taken out of the official timeline from the night of Morgan’s disappearance and this is one of them.

It is important to continually re-check facts and theories as things constantly change during an investigation, but I feel that both of these issues are not key factors in solving this case. But that’s just my opinion!

Could Farmer Bass be a patron of Oak HilsMarket & Deli on Country Green Road? It appears near the intersection of Old Lynch burg highway and Hwy 64. Is it like a convenience store? Are there other markets closer and/or more likely?

Been meaning to ask this for six weeks…duh.

I am often perplexed by the humanity expressed after a tragedy, yet, upon examination, the concern, caring or action that might have deterred or forestalled the eventual outcome was often lacking. I believe we have become a society of enablers by our ignorance, indifference, overriding concern for political correctness, image, or simply not wanting to go out of our way. I found the article on Sexual Assault on Campus instructive. Anyone who has a college aged daughter should read it. Sexual assault is a crime and if colleges and universities cannot investigate and adjudicate properly, they are doing a grave disservice to victims and enabling perpetrators by even offering such services. http://www.publicintegrity.org/investigations/campus_assault/#

Seattle, it’s hard to keep everything sraight, but I think the paper delivery lady said she saw Morgan on the Lawn, which I’m told is a very hallowed part of the UVa campus that I think was there at the same time as Jefferson.

The apartment area where the shirt may/may not have been found is in another part of town. The rap on the police interviewing was that they didn’t show ID, gave too much information. Several people speculated that they could have been private investigators. Who knows? This case takes one crazy turn after another and nothing ever seems to be for sure.

Josie, you certainly do not over post on this site. Love your comments….so don’t stop the madness!

IMO highly unlikely. He’d really have to go out of his way to visit there.

The Cliché “It’s always the quiet ones” when it comes to killers of heinous crimes it’s pretty true and proven. So here is a question “Why do men kill?” And I say Men in reference to humans, because yes women kill. But as for assuming a Man killed Morgan you have to take the entire night into account and assume the “type” that would be present, especially at or near a Metallic a concert. I am actually surprised they are even still around. I am 41 they were big in my era of the 80’s with all of the pot smokers and drug users. Now days its different it’s more of a fad to be in the Mecca of hard core rock especially with Gamers. So lets go look at that….Here is my theory and one of many profiling types to try were. Lets try the GAMER….The killer was quiet, maybe spends allot of time alone, on a computer, but mostly games. He is unattractive not very healthy or fit, has clammy skin and maybe smokes the only females he knows are on his xbox. My guess he has a little apartment on or near the campus. He has no conscious response to what happened, maybe in his mind it’s just as real as the computer games he plays. To catch the killer, you have to think like one and live in his world. MH’s mom is going through the process of accepting the raw reality of her daughter’s death. The best gift at this time is to allow her to face this person whether or not he/she is cognitive of their action. When my house was broken into and many items stolen I went straight to the chief of police demanding something more be done about the crime in this neighborhood that I single handedly had been trying to renovate and improve, having an award for my home was not enough….the crime was too much. I told him my key suspect was a laborer I hired to do odd jobs, his reply too me was that the number one thing we have stopped doing in this society is “discriminate” I thought I was doing a good deed helping this man who needed money. The kind of discrimination he meant was stereotyping and profiling….my friends if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck…guess what it is probably a duck. Don’t be afraid to go out and find her killer. The difficult part is that this person has no conscious of it, so what you have to do is evoke it out of him. In the Gamers world it is about fantasy and video games. If I were there I would hold a gamer forum a place where I would have a tent in the parking lot where she was seen and sell new and used games have people sign in a registry and pull all my rats into one cheese fest and once in his world I would quickly be able to assess which ones creep me out enough to know who it is….I would have black t-shirts made to sell as well as her photo and posters plastered inside on the walls where it would remind him, and he would respond somehow you will see. I worked on a missing persons case once and once we determined the most likely suspects and new that the main one would be going to a train station to pick up his daughter we got there before him and plastered her missing person flyer everywhere, then we sat in disguise and watched his reaction….he seemed anxious and upset, then started pulling some of the posters down and throwing them in the garbage…..then in a crowded train station he looked right at us, then he walked up to taunt us, but we continued to pretend we were only passengers. His attempt to intimidate us gave him away. How did he know it was us….because these types can think like a cop, so we must do the same and think like a killer. That’s my best to give you folks down there in Virginia for now ! what we put out is what we get back in return.

SeattleMom, that shirt thing is a headscratcher. As Ohiomom said, those locations (the newspaper lady sighting and then apt bldg with the shirt in the bushes) aren’t near each other. Then we’ve also heard that the shirts don’t match. One of the shirts had just lettering on it (Morgan’s, I think), and other one had pictures, too(the one that was found). They were both black, and were both in tribute to the same band, but apparently they were different designs otherwise.

  49. suz says:

Mike, not to paint with too broad a brush, but I’m pretty sure homosexuals LOVE pretty girls like Morgan, and prolly vice versa. Gals generally love their gay boyfriends, as they have common interests like shopping, celebrity gossip, etc. I’ve never actually heard of a violent underground homosexual culture, but I hope someone will open my eyes if there are undercurrents like that in society—I’d be seriously fascinated as I’ve never heard of such a thing, but I’m open—otherwise it sounds like fantastic fodder for a Monty Python skit (like the one they did on Hell’s Grannies).

But I ain’t ruling anything out! (even though I think it’s a local loner weirdo who was prolly on drugs and picked her up hitch hiking and then acted alone in her murder and disposal)

It’s true, us Northern Virginians are pretty close to the Mason Dixon line, and thus don’t have terribly southern affects; but as you move south (and west) in VA, it’s still purty darn southern. When you have a chain of restaurants called Biscuitville (I kid you not), and grown people still refer to their momma (and pronounce it more like mumma), and there’s sweet tea on the menu, yer in the south.
