Portland, OR– The developments in missing Portland child Kyron Horman are enough to give a person whiplash this week; It is only Wednesday.
I absolutely believe that Terri Horman is responsible for Kyron’s disappearance-
Tony Young, stepfather to Kyron Horman.
During their interview this morning on the Today Show, Desiree and Tony Young did not mince words.
The sexual overtones to Mr.Cook, resemble the former exhanges between the individual Terri attempted to hire to murder her husband.– verbiage contempt motion
Are investigators any closer to finding Kyron Horman?
Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that both the FBI and Multnomah County Sherriff’s Office have been back on the scene in areas near the Skyline School, where Kyron wet missing on June 4th., and on Sauvie Island, the focus of intense search efforts including several dive teams today.
Of particular interest, is source confirmation that the landscaper Terri Horman hired last fall, who worked on the Horman property, had met Kyron at the residence as well as the Skyline School, where his firm had been contracted to do some work.
Rudy Sanchez, of RS Landscape Maintenance since 2008 has told MCSO that Terri Horman attempted to hire him in a murder for hire plot against her husband Kaine. Sanchez then agreed to participate in a surreptitious sting that included a body wire and a 911 call where patrolman had to be told by detectives this was an “on the job” non-threat. As fairly isolated areas go, this one has had a fair share of 911 calls.
No charges were filed by Ms. Horman against Mr. Sanchez.
A search for Multnomah County arrests under the last name Sanchez, show a United States Marshall arrest and hold of a Anselmo Sanchez since July 8th. It is unknown if this individual is held in the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
Blinkoncrime.com was unable to confirm through the Multnomah County Jail the nature of the “hold” for Sanchez, and all persons are presumed innocent.

I’ve been holding out hope for Kyron’s safe return to his family, however, after seeing this picture of the “possible” LS I am filled with more fear than ever about what really happened the morning of June 4th. Wondering if they are back on the scene at the school and Sauvie’s Island because the LS is talking….

Wow–looks like HopeinVa and her comments over at Oregonlive.com really have been scooping this story from the beginning–as she was the first to reference a 911 call (allegedly concerning the landscaper) made in March. (I also remember one of her comments making a reference, at least a week ago, to something along the lines of “hoping Terri wasn’t allowing Michael Cook to still be hanging around” [paraphrasing here].
The story of Kyron Horman’s disappearance is going to stand out not just in Oregon’s history but in OUR history as a nation because of the role that social media (including the “democratization” of unedited commenting features on online news sites) will have played in this case–for good or for ill, as yet to be determined.

In your opinion is it normal for LE to “fully brief” Desiree, Tony, and Kaine with all of the specifics of this case?
Emotions are running high, how can LE know if it is going to turn volatile toward Terri? Or presuming terri is innocent, that she won’t make a rash move, not because she is guilty, but because she is being falsely accused nationally? And by her husband ex-wife
In my opinion LE is letting these four people try to put the pressure on each other to make someone break. Why?
No disrespect for LE, however what if desiree and tony find out that they are wrong about Terri?

With Sanchez being the Spanish equivalent of Jones, Smith, Lee, Nguyen, etc…, I wouldn’t put money on this being the guy, solely as a result of the name. The date is after the sting date. Rudy is not a contraction of Anselmo. Could be his middle name, though…mebbe he is a junior, and he uses Rudy instead of his dad’s first name? Maybe he uses it bc it’s easier for non-Spanish speakers to pronounce?
I looked up USM Hold; apparently they often hold illegal immigrants, they also hold people who have federal warrants. I’m sure there are other instances, PC? I dunno. For him to be in PC, they would have to know there is another perp (not likley Terri), and believe the perp is dangerous, and that he/she would likely go after this guy.

Great work Blink. In light of these developments, I sincerely hope LE has been able to gather additional information to bring closure, since the teams are searching specific areas again and seem to be looking for a “family”. I hope and pray Kyron is found soon.
Wow. I just checked all the TV on news sites here in Portland tonight before going to be and read nothing about this. Then I checked in with Blink. What a surprise! How does blink find out this information before everyone else? I am impressed. Things are coming together as predicted. Kudos to Blink. I am afraid to go to bed and wake up in the morning and find I imagined this. Don’t know if I can sleep now.
I noticed Mr. Sanchez was arrested at 7 A.M. on the morning of July 8th and today is the 15th. None of this has been in the news here. That early showed real seriousness. $10,000 for Kyron perhaps. Not Kaine.
A few posts elsewhere mentioned the LS worked at the school but never anything official. I thought it was just a rumor. Starting to make some sense. They are rechecking the school and the area around the school according the TV news site. Also, looking for pickups in the area.
I hope this is what cracks the case and for better or worse our little guy Kyron is found. This dragging out has been hard and the family and the whole community of Portland. Thanks Blink.

This from the article above is very depressing. Especially the last part of the sentence. I am finally going to stop keeping up with this case. It’s so disheartening to know what the outcome of the dive team searches mean. May the Lord be with this little boy and his mother.

As much as the investigation seems to have picked up steam, I am not feeling a something huge this week. Though that could be because every week we hope for the news that Kyron’s been found and so far, no dice.

Who is the woman in the picture above? James looks so much like her. My first thought was that it must be Terri’s mom, and then I remembered that she was adopted.
If Terri planned Kyron’s disappearance, then the apparently careful planning and execution of that seem in sharp contrast to the impulsive and careless alleged solicitation of RS and MC for her purposes.
Oh no, if they are back searching areas, that means new information, and if they are searching outside that means he is no longer with us?(I hold out hope for all missing kids, until there is solid evidence of them not being with us anymore)I have a sick feeling in my stomach though. Is it possible that he took kyron for ‘ransom’ so terri would pay up, even though the hit never went through on Kaine, kinda like a black mail situation? but just black mailing her did not work so then he took kyron, like I said before for ransom? “Gym owner, Bob Briede, who owns Extreme Edge Fitness, the gym where Kaine Horman works out, said to Fox news that he saw Terri Horman at the gym acting suspiciously. He called her “stone-faced”. Briede said that Terri approached a woman at the childcare center and said some alarming things, which prompted him to call police.
Briebe says to Fox, “Her behavior was definitely suspicious and I felt it justified making a phone call to the authorities…Her behavior was just odd.”
Fox also reports that investigators are now searching the area around Skyline school again.”

Does anyone know what branch of the LE team drives a black box van/truck? I saw them going down Hwy 30 yesterday headed North towards St Helens. It looked like a vehicle that would haul people like search & rescue in the back. It was definitely LE as I could see the symbols but from a distance and couldn’t read the names.
It was after I read online that they were once again searching The Island with divers. I used to fish on The Island alot a few years back in the wildlife area and there are so many places and boat ramps on that Island. I also believe they should be searching around the Gilbert River access and boat ramp which is at the Northern end of the Island and the Gilbert River dumps into the Slough from there.
I ran into few people there during the week while fishing from the dock. Its seems to be a very quiet area during the week when the Salmon aren’t running. It’s also quite isolated out at that end of the Island.
We can only pray that this comes to a close soon and they locate this little angel and give the family peace.

New searches mean new info, which could mean people talking, and hopefully closure
Bad news is where they are searching indicates, IMO, that Kyron is sadly no longer with us.
I do not understand, never have, never will, how anybody, especially a woman, can harm a child. It is the natural instinct of the female of almost every species known to man, including humans, to be nuturing and protective of the young ones. When a woman does this, to me, it is against our natural born instincts. I just do not understand it.
Dear Lord, please watch over this family, give them the strength that they need to make it through this horrific ordeal, and especially please watch over Kyron. Dear Lord, please help searchers and investigators find this innocent young boy, and help lead them to him so that they may bring him home to those who love him. Amen.

@buffy: US Marshall hold, not US Military. Which I believe means that he’s being held there until extradition for a federal offense of some sort.
So, Anselmo Sanchez is related to Rudy Sanchez? The “family” LE was inquiring into in the last 10-14 days or so. Anselmo is being held for US Marshalls, who have a very broad range of responsibilities, so who can guess what that’s for.
Anselmo is being held in MCIJ, a medium security facility, and it holds prisoners for county, state, and federal agencies. So that’s a broad range, too. No clues there:

GUESSING that Anselmo works in the family business with Rudy. And since Rudy is already being held (?) and is a material witness in something, and was the sting landscaper, then Rudy would be the LS-lover? And Anselmo the hands-on Kyron disappearer?
On the 911 calls, the first one on the 28th we knew of from the Horman home, the others are in different blocks of their street. How do they relate?

Does Anselmo take orders from Rudy? Terri didn’t deliver as promised and Rudy took revenge via Anselmo on Kyron? What kind of truck does Anselmo drive? Where was he around the time of June 4th, 9:00 a.m. or so? U.S. Marshall hold could be for any previous crime in any part of the country but would be enough to hold him for questioning.

Blink, I trust you well enough to know you wouldn’t just pull a Sanchez out of the air and put his photo on your door. Nope. Too big a risk and could ruin someone’s life–not something you do.
There had to have been a tip or connection–like, “well, he’s not the only Sanchez we’re interested in…” or even more direct than that.
If LE finds the body in the water, TH has the accidental death/fear of reprisal option, but I don’t think a jury would go for it, if it ever gets that far, which I doubt.
This must be so interminably frustrating for the police who are putting this case together. Steady on, folks; justice is on the way.

Any chance that this landscaper guy is lying to save his behind, or being paid to lie? What if this was just a pedophile that has already done away with Kyron, knows there will be DNA and does not want the death penalty? I don’t know what to think, it is all too far out there, not sure landscaper would make a credible witness. Just don’t know.

Whoa Whoa Whoa! Blink did not say that Anselmo and Rudy or Anselmo and Kyron have any connection. Just that he was the only Sanchez result when searching the MCSO database. She even states that it is unknown if he involved in the disappearance. Let’s not go putting words in her mouth when I’m sure the lurkers will be spreading their rumours around on other sites that Blink said X and Y when really it just says Z.

You are correct MissMonkey and the age differs slightly as well, I’m not even sure why I brought it up other than I was surprised how many Anselmo’s I could find.
I, like the rest of you, just want this little boy home, the rest is like some horrible train wreck that you just can’t help but look at.

I had hoped for a speedy return of little Kyron. It breaks my heart to know that he cried to be with his real mom just before he went missing. Could he have instinctively known that he was in danger? I bet yes.
After hearing that Terri went to that gym after Kyron was missing & told someone she was going to abduct her daughter- I believe she knows exactly where little Kyron is!

Does anyone remember the report on Harry Oakes, the volunteer with search dogs? He has a record of successfully locating several missing persons with his dogs. He asked the family to provide anything with Kyron’s scent such as a pillow or sock, so that his dogs could do a search of Sauvie Island. The family refused. So, Mr. Oakes used a generic cadaver scent. His two dogs hit on a cadaver scent next to a houseboat under a boat dock. Does anyone know if this is true and if so if LE followed up on this?

I don’t think it makes sense, based on the info we have, for the LS folks to exact revenge on Terri by taking Kyron. Terri herself seems too much implicated in his disappearance that day: the pings/problems with her alibi, the misinformation about the dr’s appt, the lack of a lunch (if that is accurate), the driving him to school, the supposed sightings of the two leaving together (again, if accurate), the out-of-character posting of his pic right away on FB, the lack of cooperation, etc.
I also wonder if the LS folks would know that Kiara would actually be the better target for revenge (from TH’s perspective). Probably not, but something to consider.
