Portland, OR– Late today, prior to a previously scheduled hearing at 3PM PST, an agreement was reached between the attorneys for Kaine Horman and Terri Horman.
KOIN reports:The dispute between Terri Horman and Kaine Horman has been settled and she will move out of the couple’s Northwest Sheltered Nook Road home Saturday by 3 p.m.

When asked via email by KOIN if he believes Terri had something to do with Kyron’s disappearance, he wrote: “I believe at some point she will be arrested.”

They must be letting them run their mouths on the oregon.live sign to see who posts for LE to check them out. I am sure they have gotten a few ideas from perusing different sites and all the speculating people have done. It little scary but most likely a lot of people posting about Kyron have been checked out.
A lot of us would have never envisioned ourselves sitting in front of a computer comparing ideas and reading about a crime. When the internet first came out I didn’t think I would use it. LOL
IMO the reason TMH came up with a MFH plan was to punish Kaine for sending her son James away. It doesn’t matter if James wanted to leave or stay, it just wasn’t TMH decision! Did DD suggest this new plan? Whoever came up with it would have know it would punish Kaine (and Desiree) in the most excruciating way. It doesn’t have to be a convoluted reason why TMH decided to do what she did.

That said, a lot of media work hard to cultivate and maintain their sources. Anna Song’s been on the crime beat for a while. Not that I’m defending any of the tv jockeys, just saying that theirs is a hard job to do.
Hopefully, ethical journalists will work even harder for the truth.

KATU news is now reporting that there was a crew of 30 out today searching the area around Skyline school – and using the school’s parking lot for their vehicles/gear. When asked if they were searching, one of the searchers said there were tying up some loose ends.
I keep thinking about how at the very beginning of the investigation a neighbor saw a woman in a truck at around 3:00 p.m. on the day of the disappearance and again at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning – who just sat there then drove away.
Doesn’t that neighbor live very close to Skyline? Could it have possibly been De De in that truck, since TH was probably at home with LE? Do you suppose LE has retrieved more information after talking to TH’s friends?
This situation is beyond heartbreaking. I am praying that Kyron will be found. I am further praying for a miracle that he will be found alive.

Just an FYI, the term “resident alien” is in capital letters across the top of what has come to be known as the “green card” provided to those entering the country legally. Thus those entering illegally have for years been referred to as “illegal aliens”. I worked in welfare programs for many years in two different states and that was always the term that was used.
Wasn’t it Anna Song who interviewed Ward Weaver in his kitchen with the freezer nearby that had Ashley Pond’s body in it? If I am correct she had developed a rapport with him. He is in prison for life. Another horrible story out of Portland in 2002. At that time 2 bodies were right under the FBI’s nose.
Anna is very good. CJ Jensen, hmmm, not sure. He recently said, unless my ears were fooling me, that the cop should have shot a fleeing car thief instead of using a less lethal method. The guy only stole a car for gosh sakes. Also, I am not sure under what conditions he left the police force.
For those who wonder why DY and TY didn’t try to do more (like immediately sue for custody) when Kyron seemed unhappy to go back after visits – among other things, it takes time to sort things out with a young child and the summer activities would probably have been a better setting for doing so (possibly something TH thought to avoid as well), but I also reread this early katu.com post recently. It seems from what DY’s sister wrote that her impressions would not have contributed any red flags. As far as I can tell this was her only post and she is probably looking back and wondering what she overlooked as well. I’m sure it’s painful for all of them.

I am good friends with the missing boy Kyron and I need to fill in some blanks for your posters. Kyron lives in a marvelous home and is taken care of by two wonderful parents. He has a baby sister and an older brother and loves his stepmom dearly. There is nothing but support for him at home and this is a terrible shock that has happened. Stop turning everything into a CSI story line. What they didn’t say is that Kyron’s backpack and jacket were found in his classroom, so the something fishy is coming form the school who never reported him missing. The children pointed out to the teacher that Kyron was missing and she never called his parents. I am worried sick and the last thing anyone needs to do is point at the parents … this time, the school dropped the ball and a child is out in the darkness possibly alone or possibly abducted. One other thought:
Having a history of abuse of any kind in one’s family does indicate something to be considered in the present and ruled out, but also nothing seems to be known about Terri’s first 3 years before adoption and men are not the only ones who abuse children. This is NOT an accusation. I just kept thinking about the theory that she hid him for his own protection from Kaine, and I can’t see it. If she were providing the kind of parenting and support everyone seemed to think she was, she had many other opportunities that would have gotten help for Kyron without cutting him off from everyone else who loved him, and without risking the loss of Kiara and financial support. In the cases I remember reading about where the underground protection network was used, the women who used it, publicly admitted they did and why. They were not silent.
Hi: First post here. I have read with interest most of the comments about this poor little boy and his parents. I have a couple of thoughts I would like to share:
First, it seems to me that the truck is a very big key item. Why would Terri need the truck on this day? This to me is one of the biggest questions that need answered. She admits to driving around while her daughter has some sort of ear inflammation – or whatever…but, I think there is something more sinister going on. I lived in Portland most of my life and know there are some rough areas that you can access in just a few minutes from the school.
But, first of course, Terri goes shopping to two grocery stores then, decides to take her “sick” child and drive around on “rural roads” for an hour and a half and, has all the groceries with her from these two stores. I looked on google earth and the stores are within 10 minutes of her house – “why not go directly home with the sick daughter and the groceries?” Better to “soothe” your child at home than in a big truck with your daughter strapped in a car seat and your Frozen Fruit Pies melting all over your upholstery.
Another thought that I am glad was mentioned did Terri give Dee Dee her card to swipe at the Fitness facility? This could work – you don’t “swipe” to get “out” of a fitness facility – just “in”. You could leave whenever you want and no one would know. But, say it was Terri who was there (again, could have left whenever),…if you read the statement it says “sources say “Terri claimed”…it is just being repeated and put in print. And, lastly, why would any mother after driving around for an hour and a half with a “sick” baby, take thise child to a gym and drop her off – spend almost an hour there, and leave your pudding pops in the truck?

FWIW, I find it hard to believe that TH would need a truck to carry the science fair project home. Even if there was a car seat for Kiara in the back and she had other passengers in the car, you don’t need a truck to carry a cardboard display home. Is her mustang really that tiny?!
@zinnia: Did you notice that insintel stated that she had never met Terri before? She questioned how often DY even saw Ky and then a few days later – after claiming to set up the fund to hire Houze – she claims that she can count on one hand the number of times that DY has had Ky for the weekend in the past 3/4 years?
Also interesting, but perhaps coincidence that insintel has claimed to live ‘on the other side of the country’ from Terri and that she started up the fund to get TMH the attorney. Could that possibly be part of why Houze was on the East Coast not too long after being retained?

Many are certain that some of the key players in this crime have been posting there and that is significant. I would stake my life on DeDe being hopeinva. Would you not feel that what she has to say is significant given the fact she is now implicated in this crime?
re accounts by kurtis and tanner: curious where you got their specific accounts of june 4th. their families are not revealing accounts of what their children revealed, Chief deputies in the county are not revealing this info, there are several accounts of speculated possibilities, but being in a tour group until 10 a.m. is a new one for us.

I just read this story and found it interesting. It’s about a childs bloody sock being found at a trailhead at Black Butte. Of course by the sounds of it we might never learn whos sock it was. But it is well worth the read.

Just curious, there were reports early on from a few Sauvie Island residents of 2 vehicles driving at a high rate of speed down the Reeder Rd going north. They are stating that a red mustang was one of the vehicles and that it ran a truck off the road. Also, shortly before a dump truck with a woman driver also driving too fast for the road. They are still saying that the red mustang matches TH’s. The time was around 9-10am June 4.
If TH took the white truck and Kaine had the red mustang?? These residents still swear that the mustang was there along with a truck that a man was driving.
Not defending TH since her actions of not being forth coming speaks volumes but it is logical that she wanted the truck since she was going grocery shopping (hard to fit alot of groceries in a small vehicle such as a mustang and have a car seat also) and then later pick up Kyron’s science fair project.
So, either someone else has a red mustang similar to TH (maybe a common vehicle in the area?) or someone else is not being real honest about what really happened that morning.

Tanner was interviewed by a TV station in Portland after LE asked that he not go on camera. The account from Kyron’s friend Kurtis did not show up in news reports until recently. Kurtis was not interviewed on camera. As most of the info on this story, bits and pieces come out over time. No one as yet knows what is fact, or what is not. It is possible that one of the news organizations did interview Kurtis, but did not film him. Sorry do not remember the exact source of the Kurtis info.
They actually interviewed his Mother Kim Holm.

I remember it was on NW 6th. That is close to the train tracks. Most likely that was DeDe, although she was identified as TMH.
HopeinVA posted frequently on OL in defense of Terri Horman, seemed to have a great deal of insider information about all of the parents, and a lot of vitriol toward Kaine Horman. Many people at OL thought she was Terri Horman.
People sometimes like to dangle clues: HopeinVA = there’s hope re: Kyron in Virginia? I googled Hope and Virginia back then and got a lot of hits for the town of Mt. Hope, West Virginia, and schools, businesses and historical sites with Mt. Hope in their names. Charleston, West Virginia is 55 miles from Mt. Hope.
Around July 10, the FBI told police in Charleston, West Virginia to be on the lookout for Kyron; there seemed to have been a sighting of a child who could be Kyron. The tip did not pan out. But I think it is the only specific BOLO the FBI has issued in this case.
Could be total coincidence. But LE no doubt is following the OL postings and postings about Kyron for clues and information. The cyber-dimensions in this case are something Sherlock Holmes would never have imagined, had he been real.

Well if Kyron believed he has a doctor’s appointment that day, it would be very easy for Terri to get him out of the building…something like “You go look at that last exhibit while I go change Kiara and meet me out at the truck.”

I have no idea who the culprits in Kyron’s disappearance are, but I do have a legal question. If Terri Horman was involved in Kyron’s disappearance and she knows that he is alive, and has disclosed this to her attorney Steven Houze, does the legal reponsibility to protect an endangered child override his legal obligation to maintain his client’s confidentiality?
@Lazydog1: Wow, what a read that story on Stephen Kanter was. I took the liberty to check him out, totally legit, everything he says about himself checks out. I doubt he would put his reputation on the line for some weird publicity stunt, especially being a lawyer. He could get disbarred for something like that. Sorry to say not surprised at the bureaucratic nightmare he encountered just trying to do the right thing.
@beejay: OMG, can this case get any more bizarre or have any more weird characters coming out from under rocks? Quite frankly I find it frightening that a news outlet would use this man as a law enforcement spokesperson given what he says about himself online. Do they not know the word google?

I agree on that theory. Maybe there is another child in his classroom that saw something that we aren’t aware of that and that the FBI knows about? The Hinkey report has that same theory too.
I know alot of you guys don’t like the opinions of psychics or intuitives but I have spoken to a few friends, even my neighbor (who hey, I guess, ya, she is my friend too, lol) and read a few posts where we have had the same “vision” or “dream” or “hit” etc …that Kyron is in a basement where there is a man, and two women around him. Alive. Unless there are ransom demands or other things going on that the FBI and other agencies are involved in that we don’t know (and of course, shouldn’t know at this point), then that might make logical sense that he would be alive). Didn’t Blink mention how there are many different government agencies involved in this case?

So are you meaning “someone” in the singular sense-ie Rudy Sanchez or one of his associates? Or….do you think she drove that car so she would not be identified as easily on her exit with or without Kyron?
If RS was in cahoots with TH, why wouldn’t she want him to know she was there?

I’ll go with it-
If she was afraid a third party(stalker, ex,etc) would see her mustang, that would make sense. But that would mean it wouldn’t be anyone actually inside the school she was afraid of seeing, as she was abviously there taking pics. Maybe she thought they would be safe if this person thought that KH was there and not her? Maybe she had been getting threats? Then the third person saw that, indeed, she was there and tried to make contact with her?
*Who* was she afriad of seeing and how did that turn into Kyron’s disappearance? Maybe someone she angered enough to take out revenge on her?******
Then, maybe she was taking Kyron out of the school and the third party snatched him in front of her and it turned into a pursuit of some sort? (I’m coming to this scenario because of the reported car chase on Sauvie Island). She freaked because she couldn’t stop this person and is in way over her head and decided to lay low until LE got involved and called her friend DeDe to help during the time DeDe went missing from work. DeDe decided to look into it for herself and drove down that driveway/lane twice on that same day and night. Maybe Terri told her where he and third party might be found?
Oh but, where was BabyK during this? Someone help me out with this part.
Seems far fetched, but I don’t know. It seems more reasonable than outright murder which I don’t think TH has the cojuntas to do.
^^to add to my theory. Where did DS get the white truck from? Friend or co-worker? She has been reported to drive a blue explorer. Though, I will add that DS tweeted on June 22 that she had to take her car in for repairs. That is one week after KH’s truck was taken in.
There’s always at least one reporter in these awful cases who becomes the story in his or her own right. Anne Jaeger played herself in the movie about Diane Downs, Small Sacrifices. And Anna Song conducted an infamous interview with Ward Weaver while standing on a concrete slab he and his son had poured to conceal Miranda Gaddis’s body. Anna spent so much time with the Ashley Pond and Miranda’s families that they asked her to speak at the girls’ memorial service. Both are still working at Portland stations.
CW Jensen is another matter. He seems like one of those people who make his living going from reality show to reality show (look up his wiki). His on-camera life began when he was PIO for the Portland Police Bureau, and he’s kept it going from there on. When he says things like “anti-freeze in her veins” I think “reality show” or shock value. I doubt the above linked myspace is legit though; it looks like someone was having some fun at CW’s expense.
All of the local stations are trying to jocky for standout this time, but especially Dan Tilkin at KATU. S mentioned KATU’s tackiness for outing Terri as a poster. Then they sprout some ethics and say they can’t release video they haven’t already posted. Give me a break.
I think this case’s star reporter will come from the internet. Gotta be Blink, though I know you are truly in it for Kyron.
I know shes guilty. Her timeline doesn’t make sense. Why would she be at the Albertsons at Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy and Shattuck road? Thats 18 miles from her home. There are dozens of grocery stores closer. LE has video of her there. I have heard hersay that Kyron was with her. I work in the area. I heard about the 2 of them being at that Albetsons 3 days before it became public knowledge.
I hope LE has talked to her hairdresser. Hairdresser know more about people than you can imagine.

Has it ever been established beyond doubt that Kiara was with Terri that morning? I know they asked this of Kaine and Desiree about a week ago and they both said yes, she had Kiara. But then I wonder, maybe LE told them to say this so she wouldn’t think they were “onto her”.
I also wonder, if she was in the truck that day what sights and sounds she must have witnessed. True, a child that young cannot verbalize her fears or feelings but just the fact she was there and probably witnessed something horrifying, is reason alone to remove her from this woman’s care.
I’m very curious about what the phone records between TH and DD reveal that day.

If it WAS Terri’s, then either she and Kaine switched back vehicles that am and Kaine has not said that. Or Kaine was driving her ‘Stang when he said he was at work. How do you make progress with this line of thinking until you know the cars matched down to the vanity plate??
Well, let’s push ahead and follow up on Blink’s ‘what if’ about TH wanting the truck that day so someone at school wouldn’t know she was at school. Well, people inside school would’ve been able to see her there. Too risky. So, only people OUTDOORS would be the ones she could have more easily concealed her presence there from.
Kaine was notified to go rushing back from work, in the ‘Stang, and race up to Sauvie Island? In pursuit of a white truck driven by a man (several candidates in that area; could be irrelevant)? KH ran the truck off the road. What happened next? Was he really pursuing the woman driving the concrete truck (too fast)?
Easy to find an unrelated reason for driving a concrete truck too fast: happens all the time. Keep that concrete in there too long and it’s useless; it’s gotta be poured urgently if you’ve had it in there awhile.
My head hurts.
OKay!, we KNOW that Kyron was not with her when she left the school? so she left him there?, not knowing that an aquaintance of hers would be there and take Kyron setting her up for his disappearance?
So Kyron could have been taken off grounds by an enemy of Teri’s?

Re C.W.–clearly that’s a spoofed-up myspace. I don’t know why he hasn’t had mspace take it down. Maybe he thinks it’s funny, too? It’s doubtful he lives in Pendleton–too far from the cameras. His actions have to be hurtful to his daughter and family.

Blink, interesting point about using the white truck to be more anonymous at the school. However, I thought she wanted to be more anonymous at the dump/transfer site, instead.
You know, it’s like elementary teachers told my son when he complained about how he was always called out: “well, son, you’re a head taller than everyone else, look like a model, and you’re wearing a red shirt!” He still hasn’t learned that lesson.

With the missing time they both have on the day Kyron went missing it makes you think they could have been together.Seems like they haven’t been very far away from each other during any of this. TH and DD are using every means of stalling they can legally think of to keep LE from arresting TH. We’re all hoping for a miracle here. I’am praying who ever did this hasn’t taken it beyond the point of no return. This case is a strange one in so many ways, and I don’t think TH and DD are as smart as they think they are. I’am another person wanting Kyron home where he belongs,and happy once again. If a stranger did take Kyron from school then the Oregon School System needs to rethink the open house system they use. They seriously need to use a sign in log for anyone entering the school. And most importantly when a child is absent they should be required to call the home and or work of the parents to check the absence of the child.
I drove by that Albertson’s the other day and while being thoroughly annoyed by the traffic, I looked to my left to notice there was a Muchas Gracias restaurant thee…and I said to myself…hey hey heyyyyy….! Now, I think we’ve gone down a road about Muchas Gracias and determined no connection there, and I wasn’t positive that this was the Albertson’s on Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy that was being referenced since it’s like notEVEN close to the Horman’s home….but I’m just tossin’ this out there cuz it all struck me in that moment as a bit of a KoInkyDink (how dya spell that anyway), and ya know LE is always saying…ya never know what little bit o’ info will help. Does that ring any bells with anyone?
