On what is Kyron Horman’s 8th Birthday, the Skyline School, where Kyron was scheduled to begin the third grade, is buzzing with the start of the years activities without him.

In response to the disappearance and presumed abduction of the bespectacled herpetologist; Skyline has implemented a myriad of mandatory safety features as well as a state of the art security camera system. While complete with facial recognition capability, one face it will not be recognizing today, is that of Kyron Horman.
Although missing since the morning of June 4, 2010, there have been no updates from the many State and Federal agencies participating in the criminal investigation of his disappearance since August 12, 2010.
Adding to the mounting concern about the status of Kyron’s fate are the words of his own parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.
“The police will not stop until they find Kyron and the harder they have to search–the harder this will get for you,” wrote Young. “You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will have to talk police or they will go to jail.”
It is clear from Kaine and Desiree’s comments that they believe Terri Horman, Kyron’s step mom, is at least partially responsible for Kyron vanishing. While they stop short of naming any possible accomplices, Rod Underhill, the chief deputy district attorney of Multnomah County, Captain Jason Gates, Detective Bob O’Donnell of the Multnomah County Sheriff Office have sought the publics help to flush them out. Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill said a witness, or witnesses, have reported seeing someone else by the Hormans’ extended-cab pickup while it was parked in front of the school between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on June 4, the day Kyron disappeared. In what was characterized as a slip-up, methinks that that Kyron’s Mom told us that someone was actually Kyron.
While Terri Horman is holed up at her parents newly refinanced home in Roseburg and under the mortgage-sized retainer protection of Stephen Houze; she is awaiting the September 21st contempt hearing for allegedly violating an order that she not disclose the “sealed” reasoning for, or contents of, the current restraining order in effect against her.
Accomplice, Witness, Opportunist or Collateral Damage?
Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Sanchez
When reached at one of the numbers records show is billed in his brothers name, Jaime Estrada Sanchez, who uses the name Jaime Estrada on his carpet cleaning business website declined to comment to blinkoncrime.com and the number has since been disconnected.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a close family friend who has since been interviewed by the FBI, has confirmed that Terri Horman is pointing her finger directly at Sanchez. She has also stated that she and Sanchez had an altercation after she attempted to end their relationship in May which ended in a 911 call and a visit from Clackamas County Sheriff Office in the presence of Sanchez’s wife and children. While it did not result in any charges, Horman told the source that the landscaper was furious with her because he is not in the US legally. While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.
It should be noted that Mr. Sanchez has not been charged with any crime in this matter and local references to his business are highly complimentary. In fact, Jean Ann Van Krevelen a friend and “mentor” of Dede Spicher has used RS Landscape Maintenance on a few occasions, leaving positive reviews on the ServiceMaster listing which deleted his business from the site on 6/21/10. Heather Walters, owner of Rosemont Farm,which is not West Wind Farm, where Dede Spicher was working the morning of June 4th and out of reach by phone from approximately 90 minutes, has never met Terri Horman or heard of their family prior to Kyron’s disappearance. When I asked her if she knew Rudy Sanchez or if she ever hired his firm to work at WWF, she replied “not that I recall, no, but we did have a blackberry clean up a few years ago so it is possible.”

Or has he?
Although records indicate that he was placed under post probation supervision by ICE on February 19, 2010, according to Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez Federal criminal docket after being “found in the US and apprehended” in August 2009” following a previous deportation in 2003, he was “administratively arrested” on February 23, 2010. A Federal Grand Jury’s subsequent indictment was issued on March 4 and he was immediately incarcerated.
Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez rap sheet includes convictions for rape, failure to register as a sex offender and a host of probation and parole violations prior to his deportation.
In what can only be categorized as a bizarre coincidence, Oregon BOP VINE network shows that on June 26, 2010, they very day of the “sting” involving Rudy Sanchez, Anselmo was transferred and released to “community supervision”. There is no record of either his transfer or his booking by MCSO July 8th on his docket. What is reflected on the record for June 21st, is the US Marshall Service requested a rescheduling of his plea hearing on July 1st - July 12th directly with the presiding judge outside of his Federal appointed defense attorney. Yep. Exparte. Mr. Sanchez attorney Allison Clark used the 7/12/10 court date to file a motion to quit the case. They have subsequently worked through their differences and were scheduled to appear yesterday, but a 4th continuance in the case was granted to reschedule for October 7, 2010. In that motion, Ms. Clark asserts that Mr. Sanchez has been in custody the entire time but that his records are difficult to retrieve so more time to prepare for trial is necessary. I’ll say.

Up until a few weeks ago, she was also very much the object of accusation by Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, as well as the investigators assigned to Kyron’s case. So much so, they released a flyer featuring the ginger ladies and the infamous white truck. LE has subsequently backed off of Spicher and publicly stated they do not believe it was her in the white truck in the lot of the Skyline School. Dede’s father is a semi-retired Klamath County Sheriff deputy. If it can be confirmed Spicher knew Kyron was missing on June 4th we have a very big problem.

Michael Cook
The source of both information for the contempt filing and hundreds of sexts exchanged between he and Terri Horman following Kaine Horman’s filing for divorce and leaving the marital residence as advised by MCSO, Michael Cook was a high school classmate of Kaine Horman.
Mr. Cook is also one smarmy dude if his former spouse Shannon has anything to say about it.
Oddly, blinkoncrime.com has learned from an inside source that Cook was not called before the grand jury to testify. In the instant action for contempt, Kaine Horman’s attorney Laura Rackner specifically references the “sexting” and the text regarding Houze’s fee as information provided by law enforcement.
So, was he acting as an agent for le or is he himself under investigation?
Jason Wishert
William Jason Wishert is undoubtedly wishing he had not interjected himself in this case. Apparently new to the blogosphere via a request from Maxine Bernstein of the Oregonian, Mr. Wishert took to what he saw as his *nuveau*cause*celeb* status with moxy.
That was until he announced his appearance on the scaredmonkeys.net forum to answer questions about the case and cry the blues when he accused the Oregonian of using his rough notes to skewer Dede Spicher. According to Wishert the “not a lot of kissing but plenty of telling” memo was not supposed to be published. About 3 minutes into his introduction to his “sleuthing public” Wishert was asked why he spelled his name incorrectly and if he was indeed the son of convicted child porn possessor William Kent Wishart. In a really bad move, Mr. Wishert denied the allegation and retreated with his tail somewhere on his person.
Kent Wishart, former CEO of Graphic Sciences, is in Federal Custody for the next 4 years for possession of child porn and engaging in a file sharing subscription for same. Jason’s brother Grant is an employee of GS. All three Wishert’s hold numerous active and inactive business licenses throughout Oregon and Washington. Graphic Sciences has a Mexican affiliate office.
Both Jason and his brother James Grant have had numerous legal entanglements (editor’s note: say it just like Chief Margie with the flat “a”) and our attempts to substantiate Jason’s claims about court appointed child advocacy certifications have yet to be confirmed.
However, with his Uncle John Kerr, Jason Wishert is heavily involved in the Friends of Pimpollo Charity which sponsors various children issues and an orphanage in Mexico. FOP is a verified charity with a 50% tax deduction rate according to IRS Publication 78 in good standing, but they are years behind in their annual reporting.

Today, Kyron Horman’s eigth birthday, may not bring us any closer to where our frog prince is, but we do wish to extend our thoughts and prayers in celebration of his special day to his parents, friends and family. I wish I could find the news article (video included) shortly after this case broke where the reporter talked to Terri at the Horman house and she refused to go on camera, but did discuss her need for landscaping. It was around the time the “no tresspassing sign” went up on their property. I thought it was so odd at the time. Who thinks about landscaping when their child is missing? This was way before anything about RS was reported.
Maybe she was sending smoke signals to a certain LS?!?

No true bill? How beyond disappointing. Why wouldn’t DDS be granted immunity so that her testimony might further the investigation? Are we to assume her testimony is irrelevant, or at the very least will not lead to Ky? Can we assume they will reconvene when more information is available? Can we also assume that house in Roseburg is under heavy surveillance, and, or protection? What a low point in this case, Ky’s B’day and still more questions than answers.

“Community Supervision” I think means alternative programs to incarceration, I am thinking electronic ankle bracelet (which they really call electronic monitoring here. It is a wonder why he hasn’t just been tracked to deportation again though, do they want a SO to stay in this country – maybe they wantto find something out from him. He must rate to make the BOC blog 2x.
I feel TH lies so much one cannot believe anything she says. (She probably lies when it is just as easy to tell the truth, though her antics sure require a lot of covering from her point of view). Sadly Mom Carol repeats some of the garbage – can’t believe her little daughter would do bad things or lie?

I don’t believe at all that Kaine would lunge at TH after she told him she hired a landscaper, perhaps she did tell Kaine about the affair, but the former reason does not seem in character with his cool logical personality at all. That ubitquitous white truck, I am seeing them everywhere, so no surprise RS had one too! Was it at the school on June 4? Was he using it or someone he knows? Or were there two guys there since someone who knew Kyron had to help entice him into the truck there?
Thanks to the whoevers explained the vampire lore, I have already used it several times in attempt to help people set boundaries with others.
Maybe there are other vampires in this story for sure, but Kaine let that female vampire (TH) in first, IMO, right around Kyron’s birth it seems. Advice to all: check people’s teeth before you open the door! Has “blood” ever dripped from those teeth?
Everybody knows everyone in this cast, but lots of us in the Portland area don’t know any of these people, how odd.

My posting about driving over to Renada Street is over at the last thread, but I want to add a comment. I was not surprised to think that lots of people stayed there at the same time. You can see that from various Google pictures, and it’s a common practice. I WAS surprised that Jaime Estrada Sanchez started his brand new professional looking business less than a month ago and very cleverly makes it appear to have been around awhile. Either someone loaned him a lot of money, or he paid for things in cash.
It was early evening and I saw only 2 people outside on the street. A few houses down, a small, white haired lady came about 2 feet outside her door, looked straight at me and scurried back inside with a definite slam of the door. Across the street and about 2 houses down, a man came out after I turned around and came back (it isn’t a dead end street) past the house. He stood in place outside the door and followed my car with his eyes/head, and smoked a cigarette. I believe he was Mexican and was dressed like a laborer, but no sign he was working there.
I got the feeling they watch the street carefully. Maybe too many media people have come by, but if so, I haven’t seen any writing about it.
I’ve only posted twice, Blink. How the heck to I get my comment out of moderation? LOL

RE: GJ -I think in Oregon the GJ is in lieu of pre-trial hearing to get an indictment. Enum- We can’t assume that any one witness (let alone Dede’s) testimony to the GJ is irrelevant, or caused the suspension. There are a myriad of reasons to suspend, and we won’t be privy to that info, most likely. Just because a true bill has not been returned at this time does not mean it will not be returned.
The really good news, imo, is that there is NO report that the GJ returned a bill of ignoramus -that would be devastating, too painful to bear. I am sure the GJ will get going again when they are ready….I will keep the faith:-)

Blink thanks for the picture of RS. He doesn’t look like a man to mess with. The little girl has to be his daughter or relative because she is abnormally close to him and following him.

This might be a long shot on my part..but here goes: Could Anselmo Sanchez be the Vampire? Many a “hit” are arranged by inmates from inside the jail. Rudy had to have been ROYALLY PO’d at Terri.. Could he have called his buddy Anselmo Sanchez for a little help with revenge? Maybe Rudy also threatened Terri in such a way she cooperated.
From what I remember reading about the sting is that it failed because Terri called the police when she “saw” Rudy.. reporting trespassing.. I’m not sure Rudy even got a chance to talk with her. I wondered if she saw Rudy on her property and panicked because she was afraid of him?

Hi Blink. I appreciate your site. I found it (and Scared Monkeys) because of Kyron. I can’t wrap my mind around this case, but can’t stop thinking about it either, and am finally compelled to post something. I’m not able to focus at 30,000 feet, so I’ll close in on the small stuff.
What TMH did with RS reminds me of what she did with her second husband, Richard Ecker. RE went to TMH’s home and asked her if he could get a break on his child-support payments. He thought the meeting went well, so was shocked to later get a call from the sheriff’s dept. telling him to stop harassing his ex-wife.
RS didn’t get a phone call. Deputies went to his home. But, as with RE, no one saw what occurred between RS and TMH, and no one talked to them in the presence of each other. It was her word that RE was harassing her (and that seems false), and it was her word that RS and she had an altercation. In view of this, I think it’s very possible that there was no altercation, and that TMH used the sheriff’s department as a kiss-off to both men.
With Ecker it was the Washington County sheriff’s dept., with RS it was Clackamas County sheriff’s dept., and Kyron’s investigation is headed by Multnomah County sheriff’s dept., with the other two counties involved. I wonder if bells were going off like crazy early in the investigation when TMH’s name started circulating? And I wonder how she informed the Washington County sheriff’s dept. on Ecker? Did she call 911, make a non-emergency complaint, or make a personal call to someone she knew in the dept?
At this point, if TMH is pointing the finger at RS, I doubt he’s responsible for Kyron’s disappearance. It seems she was done with RS in May, which probably means she found someone else to help her reach her goals. JMHO.
@Blink: Thank you and your editors for the new update. So sad that we’ve made it to … and now past … his birthday. Though I do believe so long as LE and all agencies involved, as well as amazing people such as you and all the Blinkaholics keep looking, justice will come. It just has to.

Could AS-S be the brother/realtive of *scorned* RS wife?
Could it be that AS-S worked for RS at the landscaping bidness last year while the supposed affair was going on and ASS was around for the talk of the MFH and he was the supposed ‘muscle’ that was to carry it out? ASS could be the one to have been paid so LE let him out of jail and wire him up to go put the squeeze on TH for his money but it backfired cause she pizzed her pants when she saw the actual ‘hitman’ on her property and ran to call LE.

I think you did, but I will help you out. If AS-S was out of custody and not returned to custody until 7-8, I can assure you there had to be a very, very good reason. Remember, he has only been in Federal custody since March.

Where is the “it that a lawnmower” picture from? Is that one of the pix circulated by LE, or was it found on FB. Also do we know location and when the photo was taken?

Perhaps the MFH plot came out as a tit-for-tat after Rudy was questioned. Through investigating Terri’s recent activity (911 in May) and her cell records, they call Rudy. Rudy gives this story as revenge for causing problems in his marriage and perhaps as a way to distance himself from Kyron’s abduction.
And as far as the relationship ending, what if Rudy wanted it to end? Then Terri gets revenge by calling police and causing problems at Rudy’s home. And what if Rudy had really been taking care of the yard and then suddenly, Terri says, “Well, you can forget doing the lawn anymore and the income that came with it…” and then suddenly, it becomes her Son’s chore. What if Rudy was very dependent on this income in a tight economy? Seriously. People are cutting back on things like lawn care and doing it themselves to conserve money. Such a business could really have taken a hit. No pun intended.
I for one am a bit disappointed that at this point the case seemed to be unraveling. All of the talk here made me think that, despite the quiet in the press from LE, that things were moving quickly somewhere. But now it seems like it’s locking up. Very sad.

Blink: if you’re still looking for the AS (not AS-S) out of Palm Beach, FL, I researched that right after we found out about our AS-S. The reporter was kind enough to share several emails with me. I tried to post it here, but you were involved in a server crisis and a lot of my stuff got lost (maybe that too?) and/or I was in spam.

Just speculating on the pic of the white truck above as someone wrote “Is that a lawnmower”: looks to me like it could be a pressure washer.
Were other people invited in to set up exhibits for the science fair (such as landscaping, electrical, etc.) or were all exhibits linked to students with the help of their parents?
We don’t know for a fact that Kyron went downstairs to see “the cool electric one” but do we know if there was an electrical exhibit downstairs?

I do believe Blink was referring to Rudy lunging at Terri and Kiara, and not Kaine.
According to the portion of the article pertaining to Rudy Sanches, Blink states:
“While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.”

beejay – I understand your question. Can’t answer it, but you could test it. I have always made a point to go back to the very last page of a thread to post. I noticed that if I write something in the “leave a comment” box on the last page and then forget and go to another website and come back, it’s still there, but not if I do the same thing on a page that isn’t the very last one. Maybe it has to do with the programs we use. (That’s when I learned to copy into or compose in Word and always have a copy.)
If I had one wish to change how this site works (and it’s the ONLY thing I can think of and not really a complaint), it would be to continue the numbering through a complete thread instead of starting over after every 50 posts. It would be easier to go back and forth, easier to track and reference, and easier to note for yourself to make a reply.
So, Jason Wishert is creepy. Michael Cook is slimy and was probably used by LE. DeDe is a loyal, idiotic, well-meaning friend. Anselmo just happened to share Rudy’s name but probably has no knowledge of Kyron’s disappearance. Rudy’s a great liar. There may be secret arrests all over the place because LE is more interested in taking down the HUGE organized crime syndicate in Portland and we don’t know anything about what happened to Kyron on June 4th.
I just talked to my neighbor who spent 40 years in LE. I learned from him that 1) there must not be any proof of the MFH, 2) there must not be any evidence directly linking TH or RS to Kyron’s disappearance, 3) secret arrests are highly unlikely (he even laughed at me), and 4) he gave a reasonable explanation for every LE agency involved in this case.
I’ll give his reasons at a later date. Today, I’m mad about all of this so am taking the weekend off.

Regarding the “lunge” at Terri. When I first read this, I interpreted it as Kaine lunging at Terri. Reading it again (and again), I’m thinking it may have been Rudy that lunged at Terri. Blink did indicate later that the “break up” happended in the Horman home. Blink, was it Kaine or Rudy that lunged at Terri?

Amazing and thanks. Just when I started to think that maybe TH didn’t do it, that it was just a random stranger abduction. Have to go back to previous thinking….
I’m still working in my head how this new information works with the interest that LE has shown in the detailed locations of TH and DD. Whatever the Sanchezs’ involvement, they clearly are focused on TH.
Couple of things: I found this interesting article from the Oregon DOJ on Organized Crime in Oregon: http://www.doj.state.or.us/hot_topics/pdf/oc_report_final.pdf. Here is a snippit from the report:
“Large-scale outdoor marijuana grow operations have also been discovered in the state, and a number have been found on public forest lands. These operations, controlled by Mexican drug trafficking organizations, have been steadily increasing in size and numbers and now produce tens of thousands of plants each year.”
The connection between all these people of the land and the implication that organized crime is involved, leads me to wonder if cultivation of marijuana comes into this story in some way.

The ‘Science Fair’ was an academic IB expo for student participants only. Google ‘academic IB’ for a full explanation of the program.
