On what is Kyron Horman’s 8th Birthday, the Skyline School, where Kyron was scheduled to begin the third grade, is buzzing with the start of the years activities without him.

In response to the disappearance and presumed abduction of the bespectacled herpetologist; Skyline has implemented a myriad of mandatory safety features as well as a state of the art security camera system. While complete with facial recognition capability, one face it will not be recognizing today, is that of Kyron Horman.
Although missing since the morning of June 4, 2010, there have been no updates from the many State and Federal agencies participating in the criminal investigation of his disappearance since August 12, 2010.
Adding to the mounting concern about the status of Kyron’s fate are the words of his own parents, Kaine Horman and Desiree Young.
“The police will not stop until they find Kyron and the harder they have to search–the harder this will get for you,” wrote Young. “You will go to jail and whoever has been helping you will have to talk police or they will go to jail.”
It is clear from Kaine and Desiree’s comments that they believe Terri Horman, Kyron’s step mom, is at least partially responsible for Kyron vanishing. While they stop short of naming any possible accomplices, Rod Underhill, the chief deputy district attorney of Multnomah County, Captain Jason Gates, Detective Bob O’Donnell of the Multnomah County Sheriff Office have sought the publics help to flush them out. Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill said a witness, or witnesses, have reported seeing someone else by the Hormans’ extended-cab pickup while it was parked in front of the school between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. on June 4, the day Kyron disappeared. In what was characterized as a slip-up, methinks that that Kyron’s Mom told us that someone was actually Kyron.
While Terri Horman is holed up at her parents newly refinanced home in Roseburg and under the mortgage-sized retainer protection of Stephen Houze; she is awaiting the September 21st contempt hearing for allegedly violating an order that she not disclose the “sealed” reasoning for, or contents of, the current restraining order in effect against her.

Rodolfo “Rudy” Estrada Sanchez
When reached at one of the numbers records show is billed in his brothers name, Jaime Estrada Sanchez, who uses the name Jaime Estrada on his carpet cleaning business website declined to comment to blinkoncrime.com and the number has since been disconnected.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a close family friend who has since been interviewed by the FBI, has confirmed that Terri Horman is pointing her finger directly at Sanchez. She has also stated that she and Sanchez had an altercation after she attempted to end their relationship in May which ended in a 911 call and a visit from Clackamas County Sheriff Office in the presence of Sanchez’s wife and children. While it did not result in any charges, Horman told the source that the landscaper was furious with her because he is not in the US legally. While blinkoncrime.com has not been able to verify the date of the alleged 911 call, we have been able to verify that Terri called her Mother immediately following the incident and told her that Kaine had found out about the landscaper she hired to do what she referred to as “her yardwork” and when she informed him that she could no longer use him because Kaine was making her fire him, he lunged at her with Kiara in her arms. Kaine Horman denies the couple ever hired the landscaper as well as any previous information as to his estranged wife’s possible dealings with Sanchez.
It should be noted that Mr. Sanchez has not been charged with any crime in this matter and local references to his business are highly complimentary. In fact, Jean Ann Van Krevelen a friend and “mentor” of Dede Spicher has used RS Landscape Maintenance on a few occasions, leaving positive reviews on the ServiceMaster listing which deleted his business from the site on 6/21/10. Heather Walters, owner of Rosemont Farm,which is not West Wind Farm, where Dede Spicher was working the morning of June 4th and out of reach by phone from approximately 90 minutes, has never met Terri Horman or heard of their family prior to Kyron’s disappearance. When I asked her if she knew Rudy Sanchez or if she ever hired his firm to work at WWF, she replied “not that I recall, no, but we did have a blackberry clean up a few years ago so it is possible.”

Although records indicate that he was placed under post probation supervision by ICE on February 19, 2010, according to Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez Federal criminal docket after being “found in the US and apprehended” in August 2009” following a previous deportation in 2003, he was “administratively arrested” on February 23, 2010. A Federal Grand Jury’s subsequent indictment was issued on March 4 and he was immediately incarcerated.
Mr. Sanchez-Sanchez rap sheet includes convictions for rape, failure to register as a sex offender and a host of probation and parole violations prior to his deportation.
In what can only be categorized as a bizarre coincidence, Oregon BOP VINE network shows that on June 26, 2010, they very day of the “sting” involving Rudy Sanchez, Anselmo was transferred and released to “community supervision”. There is no record of either his transfer or his booking by MCSO July 8th on his docket. What is reflected on the record for June 21st, is the US Marshall Service requested a rescheduling of his plea hearing on July 1st - July 12th directly with the presiding judge outside of his Federal appointed defense attorney. Yep. Exparte. Mr. Sanchez attorney Allison Clark used the 7/12/10 court date to file a motion to quit the case. They have subsequently worked through their differences and were scheduled to appear yesterday, but a 4th continuance in the case was granted to reschedule for October 7, 2010. In that motion, Ms. Clark asserts that Mr. Sanchez has been in custody the entire time but that his records are difficult to retrieve so more time to prepare for trial is necessary. I’ll say.

Up until a few weeks ago, she was also very much the object of accusation by Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, as well as the investigators assigned to Kyron’s case. So much so, they released a flyer featuring the ginger ladies and the infamous white truck. LE has subsequently backed off of Spicher and publicly stated they do not believe it was her in the white truck in the lot of the Skyline School. Dede’s father is a semi-retired Klamath County Sheriff deputy. If it can be confirmed Spicher knew Kyron was missing on June 4th we have a very big problem.

Michael Cook
The source of both information for the contempt filing and hundreds of sexts exchanged between he and Terri Horman following Kaine Horman’s filing for divorce and leaving the marital residence as advised by MCSO, Michael Cook was a high school classmate of Kaine Horman.
Mr. Cook is also one smarmy dude if his former spouse Shannon has anything to say about it.
Oddly, blinkoncrime.com has learned from an inside source that Cook was not called before the grand jury to testify. In the instant action for contempt, Kaine Horman’s attorney Laura Rackner specifically references the “sexting” and the text regarding Houze’s fee as information provided by law enforcement.
So, was he acting as an agent for le or is he himself under investigation?
Jason Wishert
William Jason Wishert is undoubtedly wishing he had not interjected himself in this case. Apparently new to the blogosphere via a request from Maxine Bernstein of the Oregonian, Mr. Wishert took to what he saw as his *nuveau*cause*celeb* status with moxy.
That was until he announced his appearance on the scaredmonkeys.net forum to answer questions about the case and cry the blues when he accused the Oregonian of using his rough notes to skewer Dede Spicher. According to Wishert the “not a lot of kissing but plenty of telling” memo was not supposed to be published. About 3 minutes into his introduction to his “sleuthing public” Wishert was asked why he spelled his name incorrectly and if he was indeed the son of convicted child porn possessor William Kent Wishart. In a really bad move, Mr. Wishert denied the allegation and retreated with his tail somewhere on his person.
Kent Wishart, former CEO of Graphic Sciences, is in Federal Custody for the next 4 years for possession of child porn and engaging in a file sharing subscription for same. Jason’s brother Grant is an employee of GS. All three Wishert’s hold numerous active and inactive business licenses throughout Oregon and Washington. Graphic Sciences has a Mexican affiliate office.
Both Jason and his brother James Grant have had numerous legal entanglements (editor’s note: say it just like Chief Margie with the flat “a”) and our attempts to substantiate Jason’s claims about court appointed child advocacy certifications have yet to be confirmed.
However, with his Uncle John Kerr, Jason Wishert is heavily involved in the Friends of Pimpollo Charity which sponsors various children issues and an orphanage in Mexico. FOP is a verified charity with a 50% tax deduction rate according to IRS Publication 78 in good standing, but they are years behind in their annual reporting.

Today, Kyron Horman’s eigth birthday, may not bring us any closer to where our frog prince is, but we do wish to extend our thoughts and prayers in celebration of his special day to his parents, friends and family. IF this was staged as a kidnap for ransom, which makes perfect sense, and DY et al have a REASON to believe that Kyron is still alive, then that REASON must either hinge on their belief in WHO took him OR they have received information subsequent to June 4th.
So why are they searching Sauvie Island and Skyline again next weekend?

I think with the level of depravity we are dealing with and the purported profession of the perp(s) (landscapers have access to a lot of interesting mechanisms), a body will not be found. I am so sorry for the image this creates. But think about it. IF Kyron is no longer alive, which unfortunately, I think is the case, I think his sweet soul is in a better place and his little body has likely been destroyed and concealed. I am doubtful anything would be floating around at Sauvie Island. Perhaps a search of landscaper equipment would yield some dna at least. Again, I am sorry for the morbidity of this post. I know we don’t like to go here, but if dna is the only thing connecting a killer to Kyron, we need to explore this notion sooner as opposed to later.

You and I are certainly on the same page as I posted a couple of links regarding the debut of electric cop cars just before you did on the previous page. IIRC, they debuted mid-September. There are also some Ford trucks that the City is using that are electric.
If LE is involved, then I reflect on the Sheriff’s statement from a couple of weeks ago. Paraphrasing: the “Things we wish we did not know” to me could define knowledge of LE involvment. And that would cause stress to the investigators in this case for sure.

Noone seemed to put much stock in the sighting but it was a witness from the fair, not terri, who saw them. RS may have known the bad guy as well though. I think if you look at some of the post by Skyline parents we should look at what some students or related family members say in the media with a “grain of salt”. My hinky meter says if someone who insinuates themselves in the media regarding this case and others say take what they say with a “grain of salt” I need to go hmmmm. Does what I am saying make any sense?

Might they already be available to other persons, or might someone with training in electrical engineering have the ability to convert a gas-powered vehicle into an electric-powered vehicle? Especially, someone with a white truck. That could possibly be a way the perpetrator lured Kyron into a different vehicle.

I am now wondering if a) TH really does believe that RS&A are responsible; b) TH does not really believe that RS&A disappeared Kyron but honestly has no idea who did; or c) TH knows that RS&A are NOT responsible and DOES know who is, but is more afraid of the true vampire than of blaming RS&A.

Yes, the way she words it in the email she is saying that she was not the last one to see him cuz someone saw him with a male chaparone and 2 girls, and then states that there were no male chaparones. this is very interesting because she had a working relationship with many of the teachers in that school and she may have been privvy to the chaparone list because she has the teacher mentality when at school.

I read the email that Terri sent to KATU saying that Kyron was seen with the man and two girls after she left. I didn’t think any other witness had backed that up (at least publicly). I figured that she was just throwing that out there, because LE keeps stating the she was the last person to see Kyron. Would LE keep saying that if someone had come forward about this man? Sorry if I’ve missed something all, but that is a new one to me. Maybe her statement is true, as LE can omit facts, etc. to keep from spoiling their case. I may change my nickname to discombobulated. That’s how I feel about this case!

My MOO…I spent some time on the Portland Public School Board website, doing some searches in the archives, looking for contracts, and I did not find anything related to RS, or landscaping in general. If he was hired as an employee, then I would not expect to find him there, he would be represented under a collective bargaining agreement, but if his company acquired a contract, then it should show up. Perhaps he was paid out of the Skyline budget and was not approved, or needed to be approved through the district.

I did the same thing awhile back – I think I mentioned it on another thread. Glad to have another set of eyes – the stuff is rather boring to go through. I didn’t find mention of anything relating to RS either, or his company.
I worked in a high school and nobody was allowed to do work on the grounds or with students even if paid through some other fund without approval and knowledge of administrators and their supervisor. Student body funds, and other funds not actually in the schools staff and supplies budget were still accounted for one way or another. Even a PTA includes teachers and the principal in its membership.
I do not understand how it was RS came to work at the school regularly and apparently was there during the day when students were there also. I also have not heard anyone say what he actually did. If he cut grass, I’m amazed that the district would hire someone extra to do that when they already have employees who could. Perhaps there was some sort of inside connection for RS?
I do understand the turf technician and how he was hired to take care of the soccer field from time to time because the district and Portland Parks and Recreation could easily have agreements to work together for grounds maintenance – although I’m still not sure who owns the soccer field property (district or Parks) – I haven’t found it listed as a park. There may be a sign somewhere clarifying that but I haven’t gone to look. I don’t see it on the Parks website map for places they take care of. Haven’t finished that research, however.

Very good observation. I need to refresh myself on this, but I thought you could no longer buy that ingredient over-the-counter in Oregon. The ingredients have changed in cold medicines for adults and children. I thought you could not get it anymore without a perscription.

You have to have a prescription from a doctor now to get pseudoephedrine in Oregon. (Makes cold and flu season even more unpleasant–thanks, Meth heads!)

If the “meth” idea is a possibility, could Terri have inside connections with pharmacy employees? That would be very risky, but I guess it could happen. Big meth problem in Oregon.

Blink…I have to say this, even though some locals will have my head for it. IMO Mayor Sam Adams is a total putz. When he tweeted about the guy in the background of the SF picture with Ky, seriously, WTH? Is that appropriate behavior for an elected official?! Oh, I’ll put out a tweet to the whole world rather than a phone call to LE…duh! I hope this is his last term, I can’t believe the people didn’t fire him after some of his shenanigans came to light. Sexual misconduct allegations, failure to pay mortgages three times, etc., etc. He is a wannabe celeb and a waste of “office” space. In trying to make sense of all of this, and develop a “no holes” scenario, I would ask those who think Terri actively participated in the abduction (literally took Kyron, or worked with others on the scene to take Kyron) — what is her motive? I can see a motive from others — RS (revenge, money), RS associates (blackmail, leverage, threat) — and certainly a sexual predator, but nothing makes sense — no matter how narcissistic and screwed up you think Terri might be — nothing makes sense about her actively kidnapping Kyron.
I think it makes perfect sense for Terri to have been involved. In MOO Terri wanted money – if we are to believe she was behind the murder for hire plot then, we can assume that she wanted the life insurance. If this is true then the leap to believe that she didn’t care about Kyron, he was yet another means to an end in a long history of using people for her own cause. I think she sold him. I think the ransom was staged so that suspicion would not fall on her.
“The cool electric one” hmm. This sounds to me as if “someone” told Kyron that there was a cool electric exhibit downstairs and that he should go see it. Also, I know the question has been asked here.. I will ask again, as IMO “the cool electric one” seems really pertinent. Question to any parent/guest at the SF that day: Was there a cool electric exhibit downstairs? Moreover, if there was, what was it? I wish we could confirm this as fact. Blink says the cool electric one is a window to the perp. I also believe this to be true. Either the perp was connected to a cool electric exhibit which somehow motivated Kyron to go out to the truck… or, perp told him about a cool electric exhibit downstairs so he would naturally want to go see it.

Only speaking for myself here, but due to our Mayor’s alleged history with an underage intern, when it comes to crimes against children his opinions or thoughts are not ones that would carry much weight with me.
That being said, it is a bit odd that he has not mentioned anything except this specific detail.
Full circle again here. Been lurking as usual. All these “new” comments or events that take things the teeniest bit further than before – rumor of bootprints outside the school door (I’m thinking male perp when I read that), another search of SI and the renewed focus on the “cool electric one” bring me right back to my (and many others’) thoughts back in June or July – the one person who has all of this in common is BP – electrical background, lives on SI and would probably know all areas of SI like the back of his hand, probably wears boots sometimes and particularly in rainy weather as on June 4th, someone Kyron knew very well since his kid and Kyron were friends, and Kyron would have no problem going with him, and no one would think it out of the ordinary for him to be in the school at the SF). MOO – Yet I’ve heard very little about him in past months – is this deliberate or has he been eliminated?

That is a very interesting scenario you bring up. So, are you saying you understand that Terri heard mention of someone saying that Kyron was seen with a male chaperon and was merely repeating it in an email she wrote — I believe — versus her directly seeing this?

Yes, the way she words it in the email she is saying that she was not the last one to see him cuz someone saw him with a male chaparone and 2 girls, and then states that there were no male chaparones. this is very interesting because she had a working relationship with many of the teachers in that school and she may have been privvy to the chaparone list because she has the teacher mentality when at school.

The Mayor is a bit of a screwball for lack of a nicer word. If you do a google search of Mayor Sam Adams you will find many, many stories showing his bad decisions – both personal and professional.
I would assume that he made his comments regarding this story without conferring with LE. He has not had a stellar relationship with the LE in this area. Also, he stated that he was making the comments based on Facebook, twitter, blog and news site comments regarding the photo. And, the fact that he has not made anymore comments would lead me to assume that LE told him to stop.

As to the Sanchez-Elsy and her 2 children connection: I believe that can best be researched by a local with feet on the ground and the ability to befriend people and get them talking. Or possibly with a personal contact in the local agencies that handle custody/kids in state custody.
‘Who had legal custody of Elsy’s kids?’ That’s the question. Her daughter, Jamie Mejia, at age 5, might have been enrolled in public school pre-K? (Don’t know the system out there.) We have a couple of address possibilities here. Earlier I ran down and posted here the elementary school that she would have attended if her residence was at one of the 2 addys we identified where a Sanchez relative of Elsy’s might live.
Again, a local who knows school staff in the schools Jamie might have been enrolled in will need to follow up through their personal contacts.
Some of this sleuthing has to be done the old fashioned way.

Re the cold medicine and buying pseudophedrine, in my state there is a database that keeps track of how much I buy and no store in the state will sell to me if I am at my limit, which I usually am during allergy season. I can’t just hop to another store to get more. It has become a joke at my office because we all have allergies and are constantly in search of “buyers” for psuedophedrine so we can stock up for high allergy days. Lol! I am sure I am on their meth watch list.
Maybe TH had to explain to LE why she made medication purchases on 06/04, hence the story of Kiara’s earache evolves. Maybe the medication was to subdue Ky, although one would think a planned abduction would be a little more planned than that.
Maybe the MFH was about Ky all along and given the information LE already had, RS had to create a story about someone, and that left KH.

I take the turnabout this way (either/or on the following):
1. As in the premise for “Blink” (the book from which B adopted her moniker), first impressions are usually right.
No evidence connecting Terri Horman = Terri’s not connected to the crime
2. Terri was an easy scapegoat and/or target for revenge:
+RS was furious with her for calling the Clackamas County Sheriff, and being exposed in front of his wife and family at home. (Motive + Opportunity for Rudy to get payback.)
+She didn’t fit in with the “soccer mom” crowd. (What former bodybuilder would fit in?)
+She was helping Kyron with his Science fair project (IMHO), and perhaps other projects, to the point where “her” step-kid was outshining others. (Jealousy, anyone?)
+Terri allegedly has a tendency to behave selfishly and/or not pick up on social cues. (Read: She p**sed off the wrong person.)
+She had an apparent fascination with her daughter, which resulted in a perception that she didn’t care as much for her stepson. (Read: After Kiara’s birth, she was seen as the “evil stepmother.”)
+She was already on the outs with certain people in her own family, i.e. allegedly her marriage was in trouble, and Kaine didn’t trust her; Desiree didn’t trust her because of the fact that Terri stole her husband years ago. As a result, when LE asked each member of the family if anyone didn’t like them and/or had been a source of conflict, everyone said Terri.
3. The evidence pointed at someone whose reputation is beyond reproach, i.e. a teacher or school administrator, a member of law enforcement, or a groundskeeper. As a result, LE began trying to prove the opposite — that the apparent suspect could not be the perpetrator.
4. The evidence didn’t point to anyone known to LE. LE was under pressure from the public to solve the crime, and as a result, figured it must have been the stepmother. After all, she was the last one to see him. Statistically speaking, that meant she almost certainly did it. LE then began discrediting evidence that pointed at anyone else. (This is the Jon Benet scenario.)
5. The evidence pointed to a sex offender or someone else that had no business being inside of the school. The evidence also pointed to lax security by the school. The only person complaining about the school was Terri. The school, in return, pointed at Terri. Given the choice between upstanding teachers/administrators and Terri, LE figured that the school was telling the truth.
6. The school, the city, or LE discovered that one or their own had a prior record that was previously overlooked or unknown. The school/city/LE figured the information was irrelevant as the underlying record was not what it appeared, or so long ago that it no longer mattered. At that point, the school/city/LE either began an effort to cover up the evidence, or rushed to identify another suspect. Terri was an easy target, and everyone at school/city/LE got on board with the “official version” of events. A gag order was issued, and everyone clammed up.
7. There was no evidence to indicate any crime in particular. The public wanted a suspect, and LE didn’t have one. Rather than name someone who was not a suspect, LE contacted Kaine about Rudy Sanchez’ statements. Kaine, in turn, moved out, and filed court papers naming Terri as a suspect. LE didn’t really believe RS’ murder for hire story, but it was the only lead they had. As a result, LE moved forward with a sting operation to check out the lead anyway. The sting failed, but the end result was accomplished: The public had a suspect; Kaine was the person naming the suspect; and LE was able to deny they had any suspect.
8. LE knows that Terri is not the kidnapper, but it serves LE purposes to allow the public to believe otherwise. I personally have a difficult time with the idea that Kaine filed for divorce, filed a motion for relief, and then the entire action is put in a holding pattern for several months without an order staying the proceedings.
Arguably, Kaine is not prejudiced by the stay. Plus, the court ordered the continuance of the hearing.
What raises my eyebrows is that to my knowledge, Terri has not filed an affidavit saying she needs the stay of proceedings.
It is my understanding that the Oregon courts require affidavits in support of motions. Sure, her attorney can state a legal argument as to why a stay is needed. However, only the client can testify from personal knowledge, hence the need for the affidavit.
Put a big asterisk at the end of that last statement, as there are a great many attorneys who file motions based on the affidavit of the attorney alone. In some cases, as in discovery issues, that’s fine. However, when you talk about prejudice to a particular client, it would seem that the court needs to hear from the client as to the need for the stay, not just the attorney. (MOO.)
To think of it another way, Kaine’s attorney could not get a restraining order without Kaine’s statements contained in the application and signatures verifying the truth of the TRO application.
Terri could say essentially same things as her lawyer, i.e. “I cannot participate in my defense or provide testimony in this matter, in light of the ongoing criminal investigation,” without opening the door to testimony in other areas in which she has invoked her right against self-incrimination. But, by not saying anything, it would seem that the court does not have a lot to work with except her lawyer’s statement. My question is whether Oregon allows lawyers statements to be used as basis for a stay, or to deny “suit money” as has been requested by Kaine.
The thought in the back of my mind all along has been whether the divorce could be part of a bigger undercover operation. My hesitation on saying this is that the court rules bar lawyers from filing false claims or offer false testimony. However, there have been undercover operations that have resulted in sham cases that were part of the bigger undercover operation. LE is not barred from doing such things, but the rules of professional conduct prevent lawyers from knowingly participating in such proceedings.
I’m not saying that the parties necessarily have any knowledge as to the undercover operation in play, though I am quite sure that the FBI knows what is going on.
IMHO, the FBI (though not necessarily local LE) may believe that while Terri is not involved, but that whoever did it knows Terri. The hope is that by putting Terri front-and-center, the real perpetraitor will emerge, and/or slip up and get caught.

LE has the power to direct those in its ranks not to speak. LE also has the power to withhold public documents not subject to disclosure (i.e. police reports for an ongoing investigation, etc.). LE also has the power to close off areas from the public — the media included — during an active search.
LE can ask the public not to talk to the media. A great many members of the public hate and/or generally distrust the media. As a result, such requests have a lot of mileage.
As far as telling the media it cannot investigate or publish a story, that type of action is called prior restraint. The only way you could legally stop the media from publishing a story is to get an injunction but it would be incredibly difficult to do so, due to the First Amendment concerns.
A source could get a restraining order to stop a reporter from repeatedly calling and harassing that person, but that would not otherwise stop the reporter from investigating a story.
LE can require the media move their “live” cameras from an area that might impede traffic, i.e. the shoulder of a roadway.
IMHO, the greater force in play here is shrinking budgets. Investigative reporting is expensive. Breaking news is cheap. So unless you live in Florida, which requires search warrants be released to the public, once you’re through the breaking news phase, a great many stories drop off due to a lack of credible information.

One news outlet already reported that a searcher with search dog said that LE is looking for bones.
IMHO, the best case scenario would be that LE has multiple theories it is investigating, i.e. is there an underground bunker on Sauvie Island? Could someone have taken a body and dumped it in the field? Or, is there evidence of the kidnapping stashed on the island (i.e. Kyron’s clothing)?
After this much time, the reasonable assumption would be the Kyron is no longer with us, hence LE may have told searchers to look for bones.
I have to wonder what clue came from the grand jury proceedings? Did someone spend a lot of time in a particular field prior to Kyron’s disappearance? Has someone been seen coming and going from a particular part of the island since Kyron disappeared?
On a related note, I recall LE asking about videos from June 3. Does anyone know the relevance of June 3, or what it is that LE thinks may have gone on that day?
So is it possible that …. TH found a note in her truck when she left the SF. TH did not call 911, but instead called Kaine. Kaine met her at the first Fred Meyers, he waits in the truck for the kidnappers while TH goes into the store. They find out its the wrong Fred Meyers so they go to the other one. Again Kaine waits in the truck to meet the kidnappers while TH goes into the store. So the someone that LE is actually looking for in the truck may have been Kaine? One big problem with this is the stop at Albertsons. Did the Albertson’s stop occur in between the stops at Fred Meyers, before the Fred Meyer stop, or after the Fred Meyer stops. Maybe she found the note in her truck at Albertsons not at the SF, if she went there first. This is just a new twist based on the note theory. It does speak to the the Kidnappers risking being seen at the SF when leaving the note, no one would have paid attention to them at Albertsons.

If there was a note supposedly from the perp, maybe it was a blackmail note, warning TH to remain quiet about something or Kyron would be hurt. But, maybe the note was ambiguous enough that TH led LE to believe it was a ransom note.
