Onda Christopher George’s ruggedly handsome looks, warm smile and charisma made him the quintessential “boy next door.” If you grew up in one of the wealthy Windermere, Florida subdivisions, he may have been just that. Continuing our exclusive blinkoncrime.com investigation into the disappearances of Chris George and Tracy Ocasio has developed new sources, new evidence, and new leads in both cases.  Read Volume I Here

In December 2008, Chris George had managed to pull himself out of a recent relapse with mild drug use through one of the oldest tried and true methods.  The Love of a woman he did not want to lose.

He was in a committed relationship, making a clean living and had left bad associations behind. Following an unfortunate physical attack (sucker punch) at a Holiday outing, to which Chris did not respond at the request of his girlfriend; Chris suffered a concussion and hernia.

His injuries kept him out of his work at Custom Metal Designs for a week. Upon return, because he had been out and still under a physician’s care, Chris was first on the list for his pink slip due to cut backs.  Not to be deterred at the major setback, after consulting  friends, family and a possible business partner, Chris decided he would start his own mobile detailing business.

“Though with their high wrongs I am struck to th’ quick, Yet with my nobler reason ‘gainst my fury Do I take part. The rarer action is In virtue than in vengeance.” – William Shakespeare, The Tempest, 5.1

The employment pool for convicted felons was a known hurdle, and Chris knew a few guys in the business that had been successful in a short period of time. Paul Adam Hutto, was one of “those guys”.

Paul Hutto whiteboyp44

In fact, it may have been exactly where Chris got the idea.  According to a source speaking to blinkoncrime.com on the condition of anonymity, Chris had recently run into Jeremiah Hutto, released from prison weeks earlier from a parole violation on a battery charge, thinking it was his brother Paul . Paul threw a Christmas Eve Bash to celebrate his homecoming in the woods behind the Gotha Superwalmart.

Chris hung out with both Hutto’s during his troublesome teens. Paul had  convictions for armed burglary and stalking pled down from felony kidnapping and sexual battery  with other Hutto family members including older brother Ernest “Dustin” Hutto.  He has also been charged with 33 traffic related offenses since 2000, including revocation of his drivers license at least 6 times.

The pair caught up as they made their way through the store and into the parking lot where Chris admired the “tricked out” burnt orange truck Hutto was driving.

Chris commented to mutual friends afterward that whatever business Hutto’s were in , it must be good to afford that truck.

With the name H U T T O in large orange letters on the windshield, it did not appear they were concerned who knew about it.

While riding with a friend about a week later,  Chris made an abrupt U turn in the middle of the highway after spotting a similar truck at a gas station on the opposite side of the road.  Chris’s passenger asked what the problem was,  and he answered, ..” I need to talk to him about something..”.  As they got within 30 feet of the truck at the gas station Chris said ..”Nevermind, not him, the idiot has him damn name on the truck..”  When pressed about who Hutto was and what Chris needed that was so important he gave them both whiplash to talk to him, Chris replied tersely, “Business”.

According to Sunbiz, the business registry for both standard and fictional business listings, neither Paul nor Jeremiah Hutto are officers or employees in the family Detailing Business at 16247  Lake John Circle, Winter Garden. In fact, according to the only named suspect in the disappearance of Tracy Ocasio, James “Jimmy” Hataway,  he worked for the Huttos in their lake clearing business.

D&P’s complete detailing & Polishing Inc, has been owned and operated at one time or another by big brother “Dusty” Ernest Hutto, Paul Branic, Daniel Hutto and Phillip Dewayne Scott.

Paul Branic was sentenced to 18 months for a parole violation the day Tracy Ocasio and Paul Hutto had an altercation outside The Tap Room in Metro West.  He was released November 10, 2010.

Once again, neither Hutto brother is a principal in the lake clearing endeavor, although their sister Brandy is, or was, until it was administratively dissolved in August 2009 for non-filing. Anthony Zedde’s Lakefront Clearing, formally listed at 1431 Cardinal Lane, Winter Garden business registration was modified to reflect the business address of, you guessed it,  Lake John Circle.

Anthony Zedde, previously convicted for driving with a suspended license and a smattering of traffic offenses, was charged with Coralyn Maysonet and Carlos Alberto Cortez in March for trafficking in Dillaud and Heroin.  All 3 are awaiting trial.

From January 26th through February 3rd, Chris George busted hump to begin his business, legitimately. He lined up possible business partners, discussed his business plan, leased a used 2008 Nissan Pathfinder Xterra and had the hitch installed for the unit to hold the tools of his trade.

Like the Parachute Jump at Coney Island, the bottom fell out. The dealership underwriter learned Chris had been laid off, and under the current terms of the lease, without a much larger deposit, he would need to return the vehicle.

Chris needed money and luck.  He needed them both yesterday.  “Hello” to those old associations was- inevitable.

By all accounts, Chris was fiercely determined to maintain his status as a fledgling business man.

“O wonder! How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world That has such people in’t!” – William Shakespeare, The Tempest, 5.1

Chris George’s crisis was not so different from one many of us face. He needed cash, a lot of it, and quickly to be able to save his business venture, his recent significant financial obligations and of course, “face”.

Chris knew his personal relationship would not endure another setback and while he was loved and supported by his family, he was under the tough love rule.

What was different for Chris George, was that while his resources were many, they were also in some cases,  shady.  Shady would have to do in a pinch.

Chris began purchasing items on his credit cards for immediate resale, offering a significant discount to friends and associates. In most cases, they accompanied him and actually chose the items. One of the indications that Chris had every intention of repaying the debt for quick cash plan he was using, is that he purchased extended warrantees and insurance for everything he charged for others.

He knew that in the event the items were not paid for, that coverage would be unusable and useless.  It also created a secondary paper trail that if he were looking to pawn or fence items he never intended to pay for, he would of course be caught.

Although Chris was revisiting the ex-con circuit, he was not doing anything illegal and continued to meet with possible business partners and investors; he was “walking the line”.

Near the end of January, according to a confidential source inside the Florida Department of Law Enfocement,  Chris met what he considered somewhat of a mentor, or at least someone Chris felt worthy of emulation.  Kenyon “Kenny” Shultz, one of the bachelors living at the well-known after hours hangout at 6100 Allen St in Mt. Dora, owned by Sam Mahon, impressed Chris.

So much so, that while he was picking up his necessary tools and supplies for the detailing business, Shultz accompanied him for guidance, and offered to install the trailer hitch to the Xterra.  Kenny was an example of what Chris wanted. He had cash, a vacation home in North Carolina and the man-bling known in their circles to signify respect and success.

He told Chris that if he wanted to appear like a serious businessman, he needed to look the part. He told him nobody will take him seriously or want to invest if he looks hungry, or not previously successful. The correct approach was to have the prospective partner or backer to view an opportunity with him as a win-win.  You never get a second chance to make a first impression and all that..

Chris purchased a few clothing items and the suggested man-bling: a stainless steel watch, the EXACT same chain worn by Kenny Shultz, and it’s companion bracelet.  Also according to the FDLE source, Shultz unsuccessfully attempted to access Chris George’s voice mail following his disappearance.

Chris George was set up for success, or so he thought.

According to Vehicle records obtained exclusively by blinkoncrime.com, Chris drove almost 3,000 miles in the week he leased the Xterra prior to his disappearance on February 11, 2009,  in an effort to cling to a life he wanted, was willing to work for, and had so far eluded him.

Over the last 18 months, blinkoncrime.com has spent hundreds of hours in investigative research, witness location and interviews, information and statement analysis, location confirmations and lead development.

The ruckus in the blinktank as we affectionately call our war room, has produced the previously unknown and unreleased information contained herein for both Chris George and Tracy Ocasio’s cases.

Perhaps more importantly, the most significant lead is the discovery of a verified source who has been able to pinpoint previously unknown timeline and location information for Chris George’s whereabouts the last week of his life, as well as directly refute the witness statements of Tyler Watters and Jimmy Hataway, given to investigators following Chris’s disappearance.

As both cases are classified as active investigations, we have been asked to withhold the identity of our source. We have utilized appropriate tools to verify the accuracy of the information we have been provided.  On occasion, information is intentionally vague for investigative reasons.

February 5-6 On February 5, Chris headed to the Tampa Area to meet with a potential business contact and to deliver the 50 inch plasma TV he just put on his Sears card for resale.  While it is not known if the TV was for his personal use, it was delivered to Chris’s former cell and roommate, Ben Parris.

Parris is a registered sex offender and convicted felon for litany of offenses ranging from burglary, to dealing in stolen property and trafficking.  Parris claimed to investigators he did not receive, does not have, nor does he know it’s whereabouts after a confidential informant came forward about Chris’s purchases .

According to a mutual friend of both Parris and Chris speaking to blinkoncrime.com on the condition of anonymity,  Chris spent the late afternoon of February 5th into the early morning hour of February 6th between his home on Delores Drive and friends they met up with at The Liquor Lounge  off route 19 in Holiday, FL.

After a trip to West Oaks Mall the afternoon of February 6th, Chris stops with his traveling companion briefly at a location of profound relevance to both the George and Ocasio cases:  South Bluford and 50.

In fact, almost the exact location where a boot, believed to be that of Tracy Ocasio, was found on August 28, 2009.

DNA tests on the boot were inconclusive because the sample did not have enough DNA material to complete a profile, but it is Tracy’s size and her best friend identified it emphatically as one of the boots Tracy was wearing the night she disappeared following her departure at The Tap Room with Jimmy Hataway.  Parris and Chris meet up again around 8PM and head to Cowboys Bar briefly, where Tyler Watters partied the night before.

February 7-8 After a day of family obligations, Chris heads to the residence at 30133 Country Rd 437 for a visit, and then on to see Kenny Shultz at 6100 Allen St Mt. Dora.  Shultz and Chris shop at The Home Depot for about 20 minutes,  Chris backtracks to the Sorrento home before heading to his own house in Winter Garden, and out again to long-time friends and mutual friends of Jimmy Hataway’s at  1219 Russell Drive around 1 AM the morning of February 8th.  Chris hung out with Mary Meeks and boyfriend Tyler Davis, who is Tyler Watters cousin,  R. Lyn Johnston, and Tim Losik until about 6AM.  It is presumed  that the balance of the day is spent at scheduled family obligations as were found written in his day planner.

February 9 Chris runs some errands, meets with a possible investor, spends the early afternoon at a friends home at 2nd St in Ocoee,  and is visiting Kenny Shultz by 6:25PM in Mt. Dora. The crowd hangs out for a few hours at the Allen St home and Jeremiah’s, a local favorite bar until Chris gets a call from Jimmy Hataway who is now staying with Tyler Watters and 2 women at Sun Resorts Trailer Park in Apopka, FL.

At the time, the park was owned by Lee Adkison, owner of Miami Pornication and Adrenaline Productions.  Although it is not believed that Chris ever met Adkison, his business card and a map for directions to his Miami Beach office were found in the abandoned Xterra following Chris’s disappearance.  Also found in the vehicle were 2 post-it notes with handwritten phone numbers on them.

Lori – 407.401.6556

Just before midnight, Chris leaves Sun Resorts and heads to Altamonte Springs after the group gets stoned together. It is believed that Chris was asked for assistance in tracking down additional recreational supplies for the foursome.

February 10 Chris is spotted at Tyler Watters Grandmothers house on Coballero Ct at approximately noon. According to EZPASS/Toll records, Chris arrives at his old friend Darby Woods residence on Ward Rd around 1PM. Darby was a bit of a Father figure to him after his Dad’s passing in 1997, but definitely not a positive one. Darby was once a successful businessman who lost most everything following a lengthy meth addiction.

 Lisa Andrews, a friend and roommate of Woods who also struggles with addiction, befriended Chris for a time until friends say she set him up in an effort to steal his belongings contained in a duffle bag to sell for drugs. They head over to Fish Camp Rd and the Holiday Woods subdivision. After 3:45PM Chris meets Tyler Davis and another man jewelry store staff described as “intentionally staying out of range of the overhead camera, but they could have been brothers.” At West Oak Mall.

Chris and gang end up at another pertinent address to his case around 7:45PM:  A known hang-out on A.D. Mimms Rd and also the location where Hataway was arrested for alledgedly punching the van of Donnaugh Robinson.  Hataway was aquitted of criminal mischief in April.

Throughout the balance of the evening,  Chris and crew ends up at Frank’s in Ocoee,  back to Sun Resorts, Jeremiahs and 6100 Allen St.

Friends and witnesses inside the investigation of Chris George’s disappearance believe something occurred during the final 48 hours of his life that had him running scared. Between the cash he had acquired over the last week (it is believed he needed it to increase the deposit on the truck lease or it would have to be returned) and the bling he was wearing, Chris George was worth enough for some of the unsavory types he knew to fund their habits, front their own deals, or “other”.

“Never till this day Saw I him so touched with anger, so distempered.” – William Shakespeare, The Tempest, 4.1

At this point, those closest to Chris are now concerned they are not hearing from him and he is avoiding going home.  Below is a Bing flyover map of the last 24 hours of what is believed to be, Chris George’s final hours.

The last confirmed phone conversation with Chris on the day he went missing was at approximately 6PM .

He was convinced that he was being followed by the Metro Bureau Investigation ( vice task force) and that he would be arrested for something that took place in his vehicle, but claimed he was not involved in directly.

Earlier that afternoon Chris’s Mother, Rachael George, called his girlfriend and expressed her concerns that she had not heard from him although they generally spoke a few times per day.

The women in Chris’s life were on high alert, with good reason.

ChrisandAJ

Chris committed to coming home by 9PM that evening to discuss exactly what was going on.  During that last conversation Chris is described as remorseful, scared, and reflective:

..” I was just trying to put things together so we could have a normal life, All I wanted was a normal life..”

Chris George’s White Nissan Xterra was located on Ocoee Apopka Rd in Apopka, Fl near Medicine Lake on February 12, 2009 at approximately 1:30PM by Apopka Police.

 Emerging from the woods, claiming to be looking for him, were Tyler Watters, Jimmy Hataway and Brandon Losik.

    Chris’ Mom,

    Thank you so much for acknowledging us (even us mostly silent ones, but just as loyal) this Thanksgiving. Once again, we are humbled by your strength and eloquence. May the good lord shine down on you and Chris this Thanksgiving and bring you back together again.

    Yes, I wonder what the motive one might have to suddenly contact the Ocasio’s with this rather late in coming bombshell? I am not seeing it as preventing Hattaway from talking, I see it as self preservation of the letter writer. If anything, I think it would prompt Hattaway to speak first. You know, the one who jumps first get’s the best deal. Curious about suggesting ‘baby mamma’ is the POI.

    So, none of you locals have seen any action underway? I hope that doesn’t mean this is a bogus ploy. I don’t know how quickly such an undertaking would take to set up.

    i’d like to know the story behind jimmy getting arrested for punching donnaugh’s truck,was it personal?business?was he playing the heavy for someone else?it would give an idea, what his trigger is with a male,or if he plays middle man.so, someone probably has chris’s jewlry.i dont think this was an of the moment kill and rob for the next fix(with this crew it’s not impossible), something bigger,he was scared and runnin ,but a hitch in the bigger plan might have caused a rash in moment ‘get him and what he’s got now ,while you can.. strength, peace and love to the families for the holidays

    @ Jeff D:
    Why would you ask that? Does it appear to you that he is hiding…for over a year and a half?

    Do you mind sharing a possible theory you are thinking of?

    Just a thought though, if the man was hiding I would think he would have taken the vehicle with him. Probably easier to get around that way. Guess he would have had to pay Jimmy and Tyler something to plant the truck too since they’ve been getting heat from it as POI’s in the case ever since.

    Not Jeff D, but just to add, if he was thinking of hiding, this was a terrible plan.
    You will see what I mean in Vol trois.
    B

    Otherwise I would suggest you refrain since such conjecture doesn’t seem warranted or helpful to the family or the case in light of the known facts.

    ~~~~~~~~~
    Fair enough LaJo….trying desperately to get up to snuff on said facts. And I realize that family members are here. Forgive me in advance for attempting to contribute.
    Forgiven, lol.
    I think their is a heightened sensitivity to the concept of him hiding due to the fact that his disappearance was not, and some may argue, still has not been taken seriously.
    I wondered the same thing early in my analysis until I ruled it out.
    I asked for help so your stuck :)
    TO Blink and Blinktank- Superb sleuthing skills!! What a difference you all make in this world! It has been a year since I started reading BOC and I am SO THANKFULL to know there are people like you who care about these cases, and fight the good fight! God sends Angels in many forms. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
    TO Rachel- My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am a mom of two sons and it breaks my heart to read the story of your son. I am so sorry for all the things you have been through.
    To all Blinksters please have a wondeful Thanksgiving!
    No worries Ms. B….I cannot imagine the emotions elicited by such sad events. I am so deeply invested in my family, my kids in particular, I cannot fathom the loss. It’s why I’m here and why you are here and why all the others are here. I truly hope to help though as you know my sleuthing skills take a back seat to my compassion. Again I am sure I will stumble over feelings, unintended but sometimes healthy.
    Going back in now to see what ‘good friends’ Hataway and Chris were.
    Blink~
    So pretty much Jermiah Hutto had his company put in his sister name first and then Anthony Zedde’s to keep from losing his business? The new WFTV news link above was interesting where the accused baby mama was being interviewed about the letter and seemed to know exactly who wrote it and why!
    Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving, and I’m sorry but I have to say GO COWBOYS! :)
    No, Jeremiah never had ownership. The land clearing biz, is circa 2008, so wth was everyone doing before that?
    That is what STUNS me. Nobody has a job, but they have money.. HELLO?
    Funny story. I told Blink from the jump that letter to WFTV was a crock. Then I said either he didn’t write that letter, or he’s the biggest idiot on earth. It’s looking like the latter.
    Blink I’m pretty sure the Hutto clan run a non-profit organization, or something. They help the community, and people donate stuff to them, or something like that. They are not at all involved in the drug trade. Period. Whatsoever.
    Blink~
    I’m still up baking, well actually I’m not baking as thier no-back cookies, yummm!! Anyway I checked back and saw you’d responded. So it sounds like they have a job alright, just not a legal one. This drug, if it is heroin is a big business as I’m sure you know once people start they physically can’t stop. Top dogs the dealer and pions the pushers! This is so sad that people choose to live like this! My dad told me once that even when someone tries to stop herion and starts methadone it’s even harder to break that addiction than the herion! I guess at least it’s controlled! Hataway has anger issues and is a violent person and should not be out on the street! I know he had problems with his chilhood and the abuse, but that is not an excuse for what he does.
    Thanks Blink :) Have a happy turkey day~
    Chris’ mom, do you know if Lake Bennet has been thoroughly searched?
    Boz, this is all I know about the search of Lake Bennet. It wasn’t an area of focus for Chris. However, since I believe these two cases are linked I consider a search for one to be a search for the other as well.
    http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2010-06-09/news/os-tracy-ocasio-diver-search-20100609_1_tracy-ocasio-ocoee-woman-ocoee-police
    However, in talking with search team members, it is my understanding that just because a location has been searched, even thoroughly, it isn’t conclusive that there is nothing to be found. That’s why areas are searched multiple times. –Rachael
    Rachael is of course correct.
    I believe efforts to locate Chris were developed by the location of the truck. Now that we know more precise information about Chris’s whereabouts the last day we believe he was alive, if I were plotting a search perimeter, it would be on the confirmed locations based on witness accounts around the time of the last confirmed conversation and the time Watters called looking for a ride. Our window shrank to about 3 hours, imo.
    First of all, I greatly appreciate the attention you are giving this case as it desperatly needs it. We would all like to know what happened that last night. I can only imagine the pain that his mother is going through, and my heart goes out to her.
    As far as the mentioned evening that you questioned about, there is no way that this happened as mentioned either. I do not know who “Lyn” is. I do, however, know who Tim is, but only met him once years ago in N.C. It is possible that he came by our house, but I do not recall that meeting. I hope that this information helps with you investigations. I also appreciate you clearing up the mall incident for me.
    If there is any other information that I can assist you with, please feel free to ask.
    Not that land isn’t an option but since Hataway is lake savvy, when I looked at the flyover again-Lake Meadow, Spring Lake and Starke Lake look like they might have potential since they are on Hataway’s turf and Chris was apparently at locations nearby. Have any searches for either case been done at them?
    Not that I am aware of, no.
    I strongly agree about the lake savvy-ness and as you saw on the flyover map, Starke Lake is high on my radar list.
  23. ThatOneGuy says:
    Blink, I know Starke Lake is high on your radar. As I’ve said from the very beginning I disagree with that. At the time of this incident, Ocoee P.D. literally sat on the lake. Also, that lake is wide open with very little brush and trees around it. In fact, its surrounded by houses. With these people’s knowledge of lakes, I would venture to say that would be last lake in Central Florida they would use. Just my opinion.
    I agree with you totally in theory. It is not so much the lake itself I am interested but the culverts that run into it. It is up there on my radar, but there are more priority areas.
  25. Shawnd5th says:
    Born and raised in this area, I agree with ThatOneGuy: Starke Lake is too exposed. Very busy roads around it, Police department covers alot of the lake front with their building, LE in and out all the time. A Lot a people looking out their windows around the lake front properties. LE is also pretty visible in that area trying to catch speeders around the curves on Silver Star. There was a construction site within walking distance from where Tracy’s car was found near the Police station during that time frame that also sat on the water.
    Lake Bennet however is a place that is very easily accessible and very, very private. Heading South on Bluford, towards Highway 50, there is a barely noticeable brick road on the left hand side of the street that runs back into a heavily wooded area. Its listed as Main st on Google Maps and looks pretty clear but, I have literally driven past this road thousands of times over my 28 years, fished the lake from Highway 50 since I was 9 years old, been in the cemetery north of it and only just recently noticed it in the past 6 years. This area, easily accessible by my Mazda sedan, is a party spot for the youth of Ocoee, a fishing spot, a dumping spot for garbage and local worker’s trash. I’ve seen nice 4×4 trucks driving thru and a large number dumptrucks back there. Concrete, drywall and carpet litters the area. From this area you could do almost anything you wanted to in privacy: Sneak into the cemetery north of it, Walk to a gas station on the corner of 50 and Bluford and get alcohol and then disappear into the woods across the street again, Have access to 75% of Lake Bennet’s waterfront with out another soul being able to see you. If I am not mistaken there was also/is a lot of construction on Highway 50 in this area between lake Bennet and Lake Lotta. Lots of construction equipment left on the side of the road for the road widening project. If I couldnt take a girl home to Dad’s house, this would be the next best thing in Ocoee. The second best thing would be the 1500 block of N Clarke Rd opposite of the fire station. Lake Meadow: There is a huge wooded area where the locals go “Muddin” but, this area used to be subject to frequent traffic but was accessible in a small car. Lake Prairie on the opposite side of the road was also accessible to those via Hackney Prairie rd. this area is very quiet at night. I have been at all of these locations during my youth with tons of people. I can guarantee that all of the people mentioned in this story have been here more than 10 times each if they grew up in Ocoee.
    There is an absolute necessity to focus on Lake Bennett, imo. In the piece, you will note there is a mutual location off S. Bluford and 50 in both cases. Although DNA was not able to conclusively identify that boot, it is my personal opinion that it is Tracy’s.
    Blink~ Yes this is me :0) I have been glued to your site from almost the beginning. It is so hard to play the sit and wait for the hopes of something new to surface.. but your work has kept me in high hopes with every post you have made. I am ever greatful for your dedication to my dear friend Chris.
    The love, hope, and commitment of his family and friends will ultimately lead to answers as to his whereabouts, and justice in his case. I am convinced of that. He was lucky to have such grace.
    I have a soft spot in my heart for your friend. I have since the first time I saw a picture of him.
    I think he was robbed of the chance to live the life he wanted, that all of you would have been proud of.
    Just catching up after the holiday…hope everyone enjoyed theirs.
    @Jeff D: Blink is completely correct and it is a sensitive issue due to the fact that Chris’ case was not taken seriously from the beginning. However, my apologies for reeming you for what in reality was a valid inquiry. Your contributions are appreciated, again my apologies.
    With regards to the new information, B, do you think additional searches will now be organized by LE surrounding the lakes and other areas we see now Chris was actually at?
    I do. I also think this information will impact further witness conversations that could facilitate an exact location.
  28. Word Girl says:
    Thanks, Blink, for answering the phone number question.
    It seemed ominous, as his quest was deepening into the netherworld.
    Chris thought he could beat it all.
    Another case of letting the vampires in the door.
    Of course, that sweet, sweet man didn’t know about the vampires.
  29. Angie says:
    Blink~ I agree.
  30. Christy says:
    Blink~
    have any searches been conducted yet since the letter last week? I wonder wth Chris witnessed in his truck that last day? Something he didn’t agree with and possibly did not want to be a part of. Did they think he was going to nark them out? This has got to be the angle if it wasn’t the money, and it had to of been bad! Chris seemed so outta place within this circle of people! Desperate people do desperate things, and unfortunately Chris seems to have been at the wrong place at the wrong time and saw something he wished he wouldn’t of. JMHO
    LOL, thank you for that, EXACTLY.
    I just want to say thank you to Blink and team for all they have done and continue to do in this case. Without your help and dedication Chris’ case would still be sitting on a shelf somewhere. You and your team are amazing and truly a blessing for all of us.
    With the new information you have uncovered and continue to uncover I am able to feel actual hope that this case will be solved and that Chris, and I truly believe Tracy as well, will be found and justice served.
    Thanks also to all you here on BOC, your attention and caring is remarkable and appreciated. You all help to keep these cases alive and present.
    Chris’ gf-
    I have not had the pleasure of speaking with you, but I am of course aware of what you meant to Chris.
    It is my sincere hope that our work can give you the start of what I pray is your journey to answers and hopefully peace.
    No worries LaJo…been following the Kyron Horman case here at boc since early June. I have seen many posts there, by newbies, asking long ago answered questions and I knew I might make a few ripples, but I jumped in any way.
    I have since read nearly all of the posts here concerning this case, as well as reading msm reports, and I must agree, LE did not give much attention to Chris early on. LE also should have paid much closer attention, much much sooner, to this Hataway guy. Even if he wasn’t a player in Chris’s story, he should have been a large blinking light on LE radar. Maybe he was.
    imho ….Sometimes LE cannot see the trees for the forest. (play on phrase intended)
    Seems boc has been less active than usual, even for a weekend, and I hope that has given all blinksters a chance to take a breath and come back full of energy. Social media can be a great help to LE as…as long as folks like Blink can harness the talent and energy of the everyday citizen for good ends.
    Peace to Kyron, Chris, Tracy, Jennifer and their families.
    I have a potentially stupid question.
    Has it been confirmed that Shultz’ jewelry was owned prior to Chris buying his? What I am asking is, we are sure Shultz owned his first and they are not one in the same pieces?
    NOT AT ALL. It was my first thought.
    I would not be able to confirm it either way with my information, my pics of Shultz are after Chris’s disappearance.
  35. Statingtheobvious says:
    Is it just me or does this story reek of bullshit? The guy associates with crowds that do drugs, has a history of drugs, the last people who saw him say he was on drugs and freaked out and he was going around running up his credit cards to get money FOR A BUSINESS HES STARTING!?! You bunch of speculators and house wives might not see the obvious problem here but the only mentality that can justify buying something for $500 + interest and turning around and selling it for 250 is that of a straight up junky….
    1. I confirmed personally who he had met with regarding the start up and possible partnerships of the detailing business.
    2. I have also confirmed that Chris did not use any drugs, although he certainly had the cash to do so, until after Feb 7, and it is believed to have been triggered by something that occurred that has been withheld for investigative reasons.
    3. IN your own words, he was surrounded by people that did drugs, so wth would make you think that we should take their word that he was high and ran off? Come on.
    Nobody is saying Chris George was not fighting demons, in fact, I have been upfront that although his intent was pure, his methods were less then, but that said, he is a victim. Even if you do not find compassion for Chris or Tracy, I would think it would concern you that whatever happened to them, and who is responsible, as not resolved, puts those folks on the street sharing the sidewalk with you and people you DO care about.
    The spectators and housewives comment is offensive. You know better.
    What if it happened to you or someone you cared about? Wouldn’t you be hopeful that people would give a chit and seek answers?
    What is it you are really angry about, exactly?
    B
  36. Statingtheobvious says:
    Oh Im not angry, I just like rabble-rousing and stirring the pot a little. I have compassion for the victims but find it hard to believe the story about him being sober and doing that noise with the credit cards… This is central Fl, there are LOTS of other ways to scare up a buck using means that wouldnt come back on you like a credit card trail would. Im sure this is going to be brought up in the next installment but what motive would there be to make someone disappear who is willingly robbing themselves?! You aint gotta kill him, just lowball him…
    Stating- You are actually solidifying my point, EXACTLY!
    B
  37. lizzy says:
    Don’t know why, but the post by “Statingtheobvious” really hit my funny bone. After all the dry statistics I’m crunching today, the double entendre was just delightful.
    Doesn’t “Statingtheobvious” think that this bunch of “spectators and housewives” can see the obvious behind their own post?
    (By the way, when did “housewife” become an insult? I may not be one, but I didn’t know it was a derogatory term. Or “spectator” for that matter? Are they similar to “armchair quarterback” and “backseat driver,” perhaps?)
    I believe housewife is only derrogatory when someone compares my skills in that area to one who actually has some.
    We have our crosses to bear, what can I say?
    B
  38. Jeff D says:
    I’d say the pot is well stirred..;)..may have some new ingredients soon…lol…where’s LaJo today?…
  39. Justathought says:
    Why did it strike your funny bone that someone has a difference of opinion? Sometimes things are exactly what they look like, even if it disagree’s with what you may or may not think. When did “statetheobvious” say anything about spectator by the way? I think what your refering to is speculators. Being speculative isn’t a bad thing, unless your dealing with say….missing person’s, possibly foul play, and guilt/blame. I thought the purpose was to gather info and ideas to help finding missing persons. How does arguing and being snide with someone who has a difference of opinion achieve that goal?
    Let’s all stay focused please. “Stating” has stated he was stirring the pot himself.
    I have never known any successful initiative to not include respectful discourse. Hav at it, if it finds Chris and Tracy.
    B
  40. Statingtheobvious says:
    Lol I meant “housewife” in the sense of those who sit around like a bunch of armchair quarterbacks speculating and pontificating on things they have very little knowledge of… Keep in mind y’all are the same group who had a pic of me with a shaved head covered in blood it MUST be a crazed Nazi Jimmy… “What a monster…” LOL Dont take yourselves to seriously…
    Behave yourself or I will repost it, lol.
    Gotta say, you need to consider your reverse bias- How do you know from your keyboard what anyone’s level of knowledge of these matters are? There are pill popping housewives all over the country or don’t you watch 20/20?
    But seriously, let’s be glad to enlighten each other in a constructive way.
    Im the 88th comment! “I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care” 88th Psalm bitches… LOL
    If your about through entertaining yourself and could offer something constructive that would be swell.
    There are 2 people missing and presumed dead, and that is very real, and very painful to those that love them.
    B
  42. Statingtheobvious says:
    I know B, you know I respect all the work you put into this… Atta girl. If “free thought” and speculation is allowed to run unchecked there is no telling where it would lead with out someone popping in to put yall on your ears…
    I take no issue with that. What I am saying to you, is instead of being the antagonist just for the sake of antagonizing like I am your sister or something, what constructive perspective can you offer to progress the conversation?
    B
  43. Statingtheobvious says:
    Oh. None I guess. Least Ill admit it… lol I’ll tap out know…
  44. IMOIMO says:
    A week ago, there was an article about a letter being sent to police and a TV station regarding Amanda Case, murders and lakes… has anything come about from this letter yet?
  45. LaJo says:
    Well the last few posts were a bit…underwhelming. I’m not sure what the goal was for Statingtheobvious besides the as stated “stirring the pot”, passing the time, and annoying Blink perhaps? Things seems to have gotten a bit off-track from the issues at hand, Chris and Tracy.
    As we can all see from the information presented, Chris was no angel. And obviously whatever dealings he was involved in are what led to his death. However, this does not change the fact that he is the victim here and did not deserve to have his life taken at 28 years old.
    I realize that many people have trouble feeling sympathetic towards someone who they feel was not living life as they should or perhaps was “asking for it” by their very actions. I also know that almost every single one of us has a friend, relative or knows someone (even ourselves perhaps) who struggles with drugs and “staying straight”, even just staying out of jail.
    Just because people get on the wrong path doesn’t necessarily make them bad people. Just because people look a certain way doesn’t mean someone has the right to make assumptions about them. Judge not that ye no be judged, right?
    LaJo
    I could not have said that any better. I also know that everyone of us has a glass structure around us at one time or another in our lives and that should not make anyone prey.
    B
  46. luckyLou says:
    It’s interesting that as Blink gets possibly closer to the truth, people sure get defensive and sarcastic.
  47. ex gf says:
    Even Tracy, (through my own findings, Blink & news reports), was rumored to use drugs. Jimmy himself claimed she was looking for drugs and didn’t like what he had before she left.
    I met one woman who said that her friend said something along the lines of “if that girl (Tracy) keeps going home with random guys, they may find her in a ditch someday.” Her friend said she felt horrible about saying such an awful thing, especially when she realized that Tracy had disappeared. Another man I met claimed Tracy was into cocaine and would often leave with people from the Tap Room.
    I cannot substanciate these rumors about Tracy but I bring them up because if Tracy was using drugs (as police and witnesses claim Chris was) what’s the difference?! A young attractive woman goes missing and it’s a top story but a young attractive man goes missing and police and the media barely bat an eye?!
    She willingly gave Jimmy a ride and Chris may or may not have willingly driven anyone that day. Is one more valuable? Not to the families I assure you! I’m glad that the Ocasio’s and Rachael George have teamed up to find their equally loved children.
    God bless the families and friends involved. I pray that LE takes this as a lesson never to repeat the mistakes they made with Chris ever again.
    I’d personally love to see the FBI involved but I think that’s a stretch.
    Thank you Blink and Team for all your incredible work. I look forward to Vol. III… I just hope my blood pressure won’t red line (again) while reading it!
  48. Chris' mom says:
    Statingtheobvious’ recent comments that he/she claims were just a matter of “stirring the pot a little” leave me unsettled. I’m not clear as to the purpose of such an activity on a website devoted to finding those that are missing and in Chris’ case and probably Tracy’s, murdered.
    In my opinion, Chris was displaying addictive behavior (and I’m not just referring to drugs) which granted, was at a higher and more dangerous level than most of us experience but it is none the less what all of us struggle with on a regular basis. We all turn to our addictions (food, porn, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, abuse…fill in the blank) because they are predictable. Though they always fall short, we tend to simply pretend that they meet our needs. Addictions are frightfully deceptive in that way.
    Another aspect of the cycle of addiction is entitlement. After we’ve done without our addiction for a while we tend to feel that we ‘deserve’ a reward. Often times the reward is a disguised form of the addiction. Many times, we don’t even bother to disguise it…we will have just a little. We think we can control it. We begin to believe our own lies and continue the devastating cycle.
    When I look at the last year of Chris’ life I see a young man that was trying to break the cycle. Does that mean that he didn’t regress or even sabotage himself in the process? No. Addictive behaviors are powerful…ask anyone that has ever been on a diet. Now multiply that to the nth degree and you are connecting a bit more with the battles that Chris was engaged in.
    No one is arguing the fact that he was with the wrong people, making poor choices and doing the wrong things…at the time of his death. But Chris did have another side and Blink has done a good job of balancing the scales.
    Though I am Chris’ mom, I think anyone on this site that knows me will attest to the fact that I’m not delusional regarding Chris and his choices. I did not agree with all that he was involved in during his last days but none of it justifies murder or the lack of investigation that his case has received.
    LaJo said it well, “However, that does not change the fact that he is still the victim here and did not deserve to have his life taken at 28 years old.”
    Statingtheobvious, in the future please confine your pot stirring to the kitchen. –Rachael
  49. Christy says:
    Ex gf~ from back in BC days (before children) I had alot of friends that used coke and called meth the dirty and wouldn’t use it b/c it was harsh and lasted too long! iirc, didn’t Tracy leave with Jimmy to party but later found out he didn’t have what she liked? Who said that? I always assumed it was pot…
    Blink~ just a thought, if Chris needed money for the truck couldn’t he have just used the credit cards on truck? On the other hand if he wanted to make alot of cash quick, one way would be to buy the stuff w/ cc and sell for cash to make a large drug purchase( oz or more of meth etc.) and do one major deal and be done with it and make a crap load of money.
