Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: George Anthony is No Killer BUT HE IS KILLING ME Already

When can their glory fade?

O the wild charge they made!

All the world wonder’d… Tennyson

George sees the light… Baez Light Brigade that is… and yes, I do believe that jurors will think they are all drunk for such a strategy.

Not new, not novel, not nouveau. You have read my predictions that George Anthony will willingly serve up his lily liver with fava beans and a nice chianti, for years.

Well, looks like the bus he is laying down for has left the station.

George ON Stand 3311

If I am being honest, ( Editor’s note: I have a few Aussie friends, and they constantly say this to preface some sort of heinous insult that you forgot by the time this passed you by) I have no earthly idea why anyone would be surprised or remotely piqued from your Cheerios over such baffoonery.

Almost 3 years later, you would think that at some point the injustice this family has shown Caylee Anthony would cease, or at least dawn on them like some sort of loosely based Lifetime *movie*of *the*week* scene finale.

Let’s face it. George is the perfect patsy in this case. Let’s review a short list:

1. He flat out lied about seeing Casey and Caylee leave on June 16th, 2008. We know this because Casey’s cell phone records tell us she did not leave the house until after 4PM. George called her at the house earlier first, and then her cell, so again, he expected her to be at the house, not “at work” as he told invetigators. Contrary to recent reports on WFTV espousing that George described exactly what Caylee was last seen wearing as the clothing found with her remains, let me clear this up, courtesy of www.blinkoncrime.com contributor Kleat, from George Anthony’s deposition by the State of Florida, in pertinent part:

[Whereupon, the document referred to was

marked for identification as Plaintiff's Exhibit

Number 9.]

BY MR. ASHTON:

Jeff Ashton: Let me show you State’s Exhibit 9 and just ask you if you recognize that photograph? [Handing]

George Anthony: [Examining] Yeah. It’s a photo of Caylee.

Jeff Ashton: Have you ever seen that photo before?

George Anthony: No. I don’t remember if I have or not. I don’t believe so. No.

Jeff Ashton: The shirt that she’s wearing in that photograph, do you recognize — from what you can see of it, do you recognize that shirt?

George Anthony: Not off — no. I don’t recognize that shirt. I don’t know if it’s a pajama or if it’s a T-shirt. I’m not really sure. I’m not — I don’t know.

Jeff Ashton: Could that be the shirt she was wearing when she left?

George Anthony: No. She wasn’t wearing this one.

Jeff Ashton: Okay. So it’s a pink shirt, but a different pink shirt?

George Anthony: Yeah. It definitely wasn’t this one right here.

Jeff Ashton: Okay. Thank you. All right.

 2. He ommitted entirely 2 jobs he was working at the time of his resume and interview for Andrews International, on June 17th, 2008.

3. He has a propensity for shall we say, ladies that require service fees, and that non-existant credit card he did not have according to Cindy’s deposition, at the time of George’s deposition had a nearly $11,000 balance.

4. He purchased a handgun while Casey was on bond.

5. His attempted suicide could be construed as “guilt driven”.

To be honest there is plenty more where that came from, but I doubt the defense in this case even got this far considering they are attempting to add witnesses four months late, whose allegations were cleared by OCSO in the first place.

At the March 3rd motion hearing, where George alledged he was an agent of the State, he faced Casey from the witness stand.

Casey, full glare ahead and adorned in her her gas can red sweater with the henkel silver jacket on top, and George in his “will someone take me seriously” lavender.

He flat out testified he will even “not show up” to court if it would help his “baby”, Casey Anthony.

Jose Baez: ..”Now if I gave this hypotthetical, if I told you not showing up to court next Wednesday, and I am not telling you to not come to court, it would save your daughter’s life, would you show up to court?

George Anthony: “..If you asked me to stay away from the proceedings, if it was going to save my daughter’s life I would not be here..”

Late this afternoon, as I was prepared to ask again where in the world is George’s counsel, finally, George Anthony’s Attorney, Mark Lippman, fired back:

In the statement, Lippman said, “George Anthony had nothing to do with the death of Caylee Marie Anthony. He has been investigated, deposed, examined and cross examined by both the prosecution and the defense, and neither the defense team nor the state of Florida have maintained that he is at fault in any way.”

I will sum it up this way. George has a better shot at drinking a 5th, than pleading the 5th in the criminal trial against his daughter.

-Deposition Shows War Of Words In Casey Case
Transcript From September Deposition Shows Tense Moments-

    snipped:

Defense attorney Jose Baez accused prosecutor Jeff Ashton of making bar association complaints against him, the transcript shows.

After Baez interrupted him, the frustrated prosecutor told Baez to “shut up.”

“Are you going to scream again, Jeffrey?” asked Baez.

“Are you going to let me talk, Jose?” Ashton replied.

Repeatedly, the defense accused Ashton of coaching witnesses.

“You should report me to the bar if you really think that,” Ashton said.

“I think you’re the only one that files bar complaints in this case,” Baez responded.

Of the alleged coaching defense attorney Cheney Mason said, “It’s inappropriate, but I’m willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.”

“I don’t need the benefit of anything you have to do for me,” Ashton replied.

“Don’t get out of line with me,” Mason warned…..

I am really starting to NOT like Jose Baez and Cheney Mason. They remind me of the bullies from “A Christmas Story” or rather the bully and the toadie…(can’t say for certain which is which)… But both Baez & Mason should know that, unlike Ralphie in a the movie, Jeff Ashton is an adult and a gentleman… Adults don’t blow up and beat their bullies senseless, they just outwit them and leaving them crying…

    Snippet cont-

Dr. Arpad Vass described the smell in Anthony’s car as “so intense — it can’t be confined to one area.”

He called the level of chloroform vapors from a carpet liner sample “massive.”

Vass admitted his findings don’t identify human decomposition, but rather a nonspecific, “decompositional event.”

Hmmm bet Baez and Mason were left crying after Vass’ testimony…they sure didn’t do much to refute his testimony at the Frye hearing…maybe thats why they need another day on this particular motion..

Word girl, thank you for the generous compliment! I have to lol a bit…when I posted that comment, my husband was watching me. He commented on my facial expression (I looked rabid, I guess) and asked why I was hammering on the keyboard so hard.

great job of going back and doing different tidbits!
wow how close blink and many of the blinkster’s came to predicting the outcome. Missing now is andrea lyons I think perhaps baez will use michelle medina his asistant. She has spent alot of time with casey! Maybe she will reach under the table and pinch her when she wants her to cry!! J/K. I just visualize sims doing this! she is just to scatter brained and finell she is like just there!
I think finell seems the most honest one! I just dont get how Mason would want to be involved with this mess!and the likes of baez and all his mess!! supposedly mason has a great reputation!! so than why why would he stoop to the nasty mean level! what would he gain working with a low lifer like bozo!! the nasty comments to jeff ashton!? he is supposed to be is a professionel! where is his integrity
I can only think of one reason! the defense is so nasty to the state!
the state is ahead and the defense knows and it’s causing them alot of aggravation.

This is one time I feel blessed to be single. I am so into this and justice for caylee is top priority!. I dont know how many keyboards and mouses, meeses, that I have worn out.Being single affords me the opportunity to be online 24/7 running to and fro’ like a church mouse.
I love the freedom to have the time to keep up with almost everything.I am not the brain as some of you like momof3 and blink and others that work so hard to keep us updated! I am just one of the cheerleaders of many.

Thinking about all of this tonight, I’m wondering if LE took or tested any of George, Lee’s or Cindy’s shoes for trace yard decomp. I also wonder if Cindy did actually wash Casey’s pants from the car. Wouldn’t your first inclination be to just throw them away if they smelled that bad? Cindy appears to be such a neat freak, I find it hard to believe she threw them in her washing machine. Normal people would have called 911 from the Tow Yard. IMO, Cindy (and maybe George) were in panic mode= destroy evidence and clean the car before LE show up! I think they were concerned the Tow Yard employees may have called LE after all. This explains why Cindy didn’t make finding Casey her first priority with Amy’s number on the resume in the car. IMO, she cleaned the car because I can’t see her trusting George to be capable, as controlling as she is. Logically speaking, one of them could have been calling Amy and finding Casey,as the other cleaned the car. The need to destroy evidence superceded the need to find Casey. They knew. All my own opinion.

Woa Mom 3,0! what a great post and full knowledges of the case. It refreshes our Memory with your timeline of events. Puh… i hope Defense don’t read your post, you made their case!
As to Casey not knowing the Phone Number of Tony not programmed in phone surely because she used the imput Call List to phone him, knowing the first 3 or last 3 numbers to recognise Tony’s Phone Number.
I think also that Cindy didn’t behave normal because she didn’t call LE after Chris brought her Caylee’s bag of pers.items. But what is normal by the Anthony’s???
A long time i believedfollowing scenario happened the 16 th: Casey was with Caylee at home, not leaving for work like George told. Yes George left the ladder at the pool, no Casey didn’t look after Caylee, She was too preocupate with her own things: Internet Mails phone ect…Caylee the beautiful liitle sunshine got swimming and drowned. George wasn’t sure if he left the ladder or not, this is why he tried to call Casey at landline and at Cell to rassurate himself that nothing bad had happened. Casey discovering Caylee first tried to reach someone but later on as it didn’t work, put Caylee in the trunk of her car and prefered go to Tony to her lover before handling what happened to Caylee( because she is selfish, selfish, selfish and selfish, not acting like a responsably Person and really seek in head ). George thinks it is his fault this is why he lies and attempted to kill himself but has not the Courage to tell to Cindy. Casey know it ‘s her fault this why the lies and coverup Kidnapping story. The searches for chloroform were done by Casey for Caylee and the searches about neckbreaking household weapons were done because She wanted to eliminate her parents. ( what she at least woudn’t have attempt to do ) That’t why she dreamt of having the house for her own with Amy. That’s what i really thougt what might have happened but i realised as time goes on that if that would have been scenario it would have come out a long time ago. So here am i, at the beginning. ( sorry for my english and typos)

  8. Löni says:

Loni- Hello- Yes, but see thats my point- The Defense has not come up with some brilliant new defense reasoning…EVERYTHING is already out there- They’ve either already tried or its all been speculated upon so much – The State is undoubtedly miles in front of them.

Todays Hearing was short and sweet- 236 photos given to the Defense
Dr. Reports are not reports at all just two measly letters …Prosecution will depos them first -and another hearing will be set.
The shoving witness Sharon has been stricken from the witness list and…It wasn’t Mason’s airplane turbulence that caused the jerkiness he experienced while reviewing last weeks hearing– Ashton said (pp) it had been rather jerky inside the court itself…

Now it is my turn to say WOW. That was some review!

I keep visualizing in my mind the picture of little Caylee playing on Casey’s lower legs and having a good time. Little did she know that her mother did not value her life.

This entire family managed to present some type of normalicy to the outside world up to the time of Caylee’s death. Since that time we have seen both of Casey’s parents doing things, to cover up and protect the crime, that tell us how totally messed up the family really is.

If one of my children were to do something like this, I would deliver them in person to LE.

And now I know for certain why you are able to so ably classify clues and other information in your posts. I had long suspicioned that you have legal training. I have a little too, but it is all about contract law. Just a “drop in the bucket” compared to what you have.

One of my good friends, now passed, was professor of constitutional law at Peperdine University. He was also a marine corps dive bomber pilot during WWII. He, like airline capitan Sullenburger, was born at Denton, Tx. That town has produced some amazing people.

I have been off of this site for a couple of days helping our oldest do a review of the changes to the National Electrical Code (NEC) required for his yearly masters license renewal.

Everyone has been doing some wonderful posts.

I still think Lee may be the dark horse in this whole sorry saga. I haven’t forgotten the look of utter disdain that Casey threw him when he was last in Court and appeared to be answering truthfully. Maybe he will turn out to be the one member of the Anthony family with some vestige of conscience and will decide that for the sake of his neice he must be honest to her memory.

  18. cjdparalegal says:

Hi all. Have been lurking for a while but I am finally going to sign in and give up some of my thoughts. This may have already been discussed, and if it has, sorry to bring it up again. I believe that the reason the two physc docs are being added as witnesses in their case in chief is to testify that KC suffers from compulsive liar disorder as a way to explain the lies that KC told (including the Zenida Gonzalez “Nanny” story). It took Judge Perry’s ruling that the evidence goes to KC’s “consciousness of guilt” to turn that light bulb on for the defense team – a compentent defense attorney would have already recognized the “consciousness of guilt” doctrine as applying to the lying evidence and would have timely named the phsyc docs as witnesses before the cut-off.

ISpy – I believe that Cindy did wash KC’s pants and if I remember reading correctly, it wasn’t too long afterwards that she bought a new washer. Does any one else remember hearing that?

I do agree that the Defense has been backed into a corner with just the little bit of evidence that we have seen thus far and they have no choice but to try and point out that someone else in the family had the means to have killed Caylee besides KC – what other defense could there possibly be? Otherwise, I agree with many bloggers who feel that once jury selection begins, there will be a last minute plea deal…if the prosecution will accept one – and they may given the state’s current financial woes.

Any one want to discuss these or other issues with me?

  19. cjdparalegal says:

I didn’t know that George lied about seeing KC and Caylee leave on June 16th – I read that for the first time here on Blink. Wow, that does make Georgie look bad – what purpose would he have to lie except to cover for himself or KC? I have to digest that a while longer to try and figure out what that means… I haven’t even seen that discussed anywhere before to get anyone’s take on it. I admit that I don’t know everything that has occurred in this case, but I at least thought I knew what had been figured out to be lies. All I can say, again is, Wow.

lol couldn’t believe! well yeah I could believe kathi asked cheney if they were planning on throwing george under the bus!! too funny!! kathi is quite the firecracker reporter! she goes where no other reporters dare to go!!

  21. JR says:

Its been a while since I’ve posted, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping up with my favorite crime bloggers – Blink and friends. Again, Blink’s eloquence of information is my spark of inspiration and yet another observation to make me chuckle – “Serious George wears Lavender.” Its funny because as much as I feel for the guy and his unbearable predicament, my only thought whenever I see him on TV is “…Gawd, would he quit wearing those f*%#ing pastels!”

As far as Baez and the “George could of done it-if the make belief nanny-or the ex-fiance-or the ol’ meter reader-didn’t” defense, I think its about time Casey and her defense team get real.

Unfortunately for them, this case is the most public in history and its not going to be about what they can “make” the jury believe. “The jury” is going to be you, me or anyone else who has seen the coverage headlining the daily news, if they haven’t already downloaded the entire police investigation for personal use. “The jury” is going to believe what they can already plainly see on their own and this trial is simply going to be a waste of time.

The reality is, the only thing that will save Casey’s life and save Jose some semblance of a career is groveling for a plea bargain exchanging her admission for her life, OR if they do go to trial – forget all of these far-fetched lines of casting “reasonable doubt”. There is more than enough reason for anyone to believe that Casey is responsible for Calee’s death, the only ‘doubt’ is on ‘how’.

Forget all these contrived questionings of cadavour dogs, junk science and out-of-line protesters being lightly pushed off George Anthony’s lawn, the only worthwhile performance to gamble in the courtroom should be Casey ‘manning’ up and taking the stand herself. Because as much as everyone hates what they have heard about Casey, let’s not forget that she is a pretty, young sociopath with the potential to ‘explain’ away at least some of the hatred in words of her own. While the prosecution has pretty much everything to convict her, this is a death penalty case WITHOUT any confirmed cause of death and a significant hole of endless possibilities that Casey could use to humanize herself, while filling in this gap.

If they could channel her talents into a finale flood of long awaited tears, she could make better use of her ‘spotlight’ as a tormented young twenty-something feigning to ‘break’ under the pressure of finally facing the world and reliving the ‘nightmare’ she’s already been living all alone . Where there is little evidence to prove otherwise, Casey could say any combination of things to make Calee’s death a horrible accident and all of her lies nothing more than the dysfunction of a damaged girl in severe denial and just plain scared. And with the number of other mothers killing their own children recently becoming a more regular occurrence in headline news, Casey Anthony may not seem so freakishly bad (at least to some people that is).

Nothing short of a few miracles could ever set this girl completely free from her crime, but she herself is really her only chance of securing her best possible conviction and leaving a better ‘false’ impression of who she is in at least someone of ‘the jury’s’ mind.

  22. Sue says:

Hello Blink and All! Blink, I just read your article and glad that you elaborated on what you’ve been saying for months. It shouldn’t come as such a surprise to me that the defense can go even lower than before and drag in this wrecked soul and take him down even more. And he’s willing to let the bus roll right over him. A perfect patsy is right. He can’t possibly see this as a way to make things right. Only the truth will prevail and not one person in Caylee’s family is yet ready to speak the truth.

Mom3.0 – You did a lot of research and I loved re-reading all the great posts of some of the great minds that have offered their professional and educated opinions these past 2+ years. I know they all still read here, but must have thrown up their arms long ago when they saw how badly the defense was handling this case.

Blink – you’re still my favorite place to read out of everyone and even though I play ‘devil’s advocate’ sometimes, I am on the side of a little girl Caylee Marie who so needs a voice. She was only 2 3/4 yrs. old when she was suddenly snuffed out of this life, but when all is said and done and we all have time to reflect back on this case, I think we will see that she taught us all something about why we are all here (on earth). I hope the ones responsible for keeping her mute all this time will give it up and let her ‘speak’ – the truth needs to come out.

  23. Mom3.0 says:

cjdparalegal – Hello, Welcome to BOC.

I loved your take on why the witnesses are being added- it really makes sense. I tend to overthink things so your thoughts seem quite plausible…they also promted me to think maybe the docs were added to say that Casey was so “worried” about Caylee’s welfare after she was kidnapped that she snapped and began suffering from PTSD? IDK

IMO whatever reason for Casey’s “State of Mind” I’m gonna be hard-pressed to believe anything other than She is incapable of caring because she is selfcentered …,
    or something along those lines…

BTW, Sorry for any confusion but I dont think It is a Fact that George lied about the sighting on the 16th…its only an educated Hypothesis- Right Blink??

Here is some past conversation concerning this from the earlier article link :

    Maura- post snipped-

Timeline for Monday, June 16 with HP Activity

Midnight to 3:00a, Casey and Tony texting back and forth; Casey was pinging Anthony towers for every call.

3:00a, Tony called Casey for 14 minute phone conversation, pinging an Anthony tower.

Casey’s phone goes dead until 7:45a (sleeping).

Cindy left for work by 7:30am to be at work for 8:00a. Cindy claimed she went to Casey’s door before she left, but the door was closed and she didn’t hear any noise, so she knew they were still sleeping.

George said in general, he would get up around 7:30-8:00a (shortly after Cindy left); Casey and Caylee would often sleep together in Casey’s room and would come out of their room around 9:30a.

Casey retrieved a voice mail at 7:45a left sometime earlier from the Anthony home line; my theory is that Cindy left Casey message before leaving for work that was about the fight they had the night before, and Cindy didn’t want George to know what she was saying to Casey (so she didn’t leave a note on the kitchen counter). Casey called the Cingular Voicemail access number to retrieve the message, and there is no cell tower activity, which means it was not a live call. The retrieval is only one second long, so my guess is Casey deleted it as soon as she heard Cindy’s voice.

Between 7:00-8:00a, there was heavy use of the Anthony HP Computer. This time period would include Casey’s IM exchange with Alex from 7:56-8:06am.

Between 8:00-9:00a, use of the Anthony HP Computer dropped significantly.

Between 9:00-10:00a, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.

Between 10:00-11:00a, use of the Anthony HP Computer was heavy again. This is the time period for Casey’s Fusian photo download to her Photobucket account from the Anthony home IP address at 10:27am Eastern.

11:47am Tony called Casey for 19 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).

Between 11:00a-12:00p, use of the Anthony HP Computer was moderate.

Between 12:00-1:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.

12:50p George said he saw Casey and Caylee leave.

Between 1:00-2:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP computer.

1:00p Tony called Casey for 14 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).

1:45p Casey called Amy for 36 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).

George Anthony left for work around 2:00-2:30p.

Between 2:00-3:00p, there was suddenly heavy use on the Anthony HP Computer. This could have been George using the HP from 2:00-2:30p or it could be Casey using the HP from 2:30-3:00p. LE knows who was using the computer and when!

There were heavy thunderstorms and lightening according to Weather Underground (OIA data) between 2:20-3:53pm with the heaviest rainfall between 3:24-3:44pm. The thunderstorms rule out the possibility of an accidental pool drowning since Casey and Caylee would not have been outside in the pool during such bad weather.

2:52p Jesse called Casey for 12 minute call (pinging an Anthony tower).

Between 3:00-4:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.

3:04p – George called Casey (26 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).

3:23p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).

3:35p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).

3:35p Casey called Tony (22 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).

3:40p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).

Between 4:00-5:00p, no use on the Anthony HP Computer.

Casey made a flurry of cell calls starting at 4:10p to family and friends.

4:10p – Casey called Lexus of Orlando (34 seconds – pinging Anthony tower).

4:11p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).

4:13p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (2 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).

4:15p – Casey called Lexus of Orlando (98 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).

4:18p – Casey’s on the road, pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersection, heading for Tony’s, when she sends Tony a text message.

4:19p – Tony sent a text to Casey (still pinging a tower west of the 408 and 417 intersection, heading for Tony’s).

4:20p – Casey called Tony (58 seconds – still pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersection, heading for Tony’s).

4:22p – Casey called Jesse Grund (75 seconds – pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersection, heading for Tony’s).

4:25p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds – pinging a tower near Amscot, which is one of the towers she hits when she is at Tony’s apartment.

Casey was either almost at his apartment at this point, or she was already there. I believe she was already there because she didn’t call him or send him another text for the rest of the night, and all her calls for the rest of the night were pinging one of the three towers she hits when she’s in his apartment.

4:53p Casey received a text message from unknown

5:58p Casey received a text message from unknown

    6:32p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds).

6:33p – Casey called Anthony home (17 seconds).

6:33p – Casey called her own phone (51 seconds).

7:06p – Casey called Anthony home (83 seconds).

7:20p – Casey called Amy Huizenga (42 seconds).

8:00p Tony Lazzaro and Casey captured on videotape at Blockbusters renting two movies – no Caylee.

Excellent Work, and Casey is at Chris Stutz’s the next day with Tony’s Jeep. Not her own car. The ONE PERSON she calls twice the night of her arrest. What did she give him that he brought back to the A’s?

I looked at the reports from MBI Agent Moore, and he wrote that Casey was “in the area of her parent’s residence” until approximately 1415 hours.

You changed what he said when you wrote, “According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th.”

He never claims anywhere that she was in the house all day. He simply said she was in the area.

I don’t know where the document is that refers Casey’s movements within 1 minute to a max 4 minutes. And in your note to my comment, you referenced SA Morris – I don’t know who that is, so maybe I am missing a whole report.

    Maura, my friend-
I did not “change” his report ( and thank you for the correction it is SA Moore, and not Morris, I should know better than to rely on what used to be a photographic memory.. that ship has sailed) It is my OPINION based on his report. Where I am getting the 1-4 minutes is if you reference the Casey Movement report:
6/16 16:14 in area of residence, 16:18 movement
    6/17 14:44 area of residence, 14:45 movement
    6/18 16:10 in area of residence , 16:11 movement

As anyone will tell us, without a verifiable surveillance video or real time satellite image, there is no “smoking gun” here or anywhere in the ping world. Truth be told, the only real way to corroberate is to have George’s pings in this scenario.
I stand by my assertion George did not see Caylee and Casey at the home, as he stated on 6/16.
That said, it is also not “provable” at this juncture, I concur

Thank you for your explanation, but, with respect, it is not clear from your post that you are offering an opinion.

    This is what you wrote:

“According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th.”

I am pointing out to you that the exerpt does not say any such thing. You included a screen shot of the exerpt, so that has to be the one you are referring to.

As for the 1-4 minute intervals, that’s because for the times on those dates listing “residence,” she is hitting one of the three towers in range of the Anthony house. When the time indicates “movement,” it’s because Casey has travelled out of the range of one of those towers.

Moore is only able to do that when Casey is using the phone and moving to different areas. If she has a two-hour gap on her cell activity, and the before and after pings are hitting the same tower, he can’t tell if she stayed in the same place during that period or if she left the area and came back but didn’t use her phone during that two-hour gap.

Maura, I clearly stated that I am intrepeting data, in an opinion based post, as anyone must unless they posess different information. I feel that data states what I said and I stand by it. You state:

    ********************************************************************************
As for the 1-4 minute intervals, that’s because for the times on those dates listing “residence,” she is hitting one of the three towers in range of the Anthony house. When the time indicates “movement,” it’s because Casey has travelled out of the range of one of those towers.
********************************************************************************I I disagree that indicates traveling outside of one of the towers, your contradicting your own data-
It is the equivalent of saying you can travel 3 miles in a minute. Not logical.

Lastly, all data aside, I DO NOT believe George was telling the truth on this account, never did. There are many things that do not make sense or jive about his account that you dont even address. In fairness, perhaps your holding the ping data on it’s own merit. Again, that’s fair, but you know, I could be right.

However, I am wrong often and ok with it. What if you were tasked with proving that theory?

Lastly, my compliments on your knowledge base and your commitment to it, I respect the H**** out of that.
    Fondly,

Do you mean you do not believe George saw them in the house at any time that day or do you mean you believe George saw them in the house that day but that they were still in the house when he left for work?

Sorry for the ambiguity, that is an excellent question. Personally, I do not believe George saw Casey and Caylee on 6/16 whatsoever. You know I have never heard one person ask George if he got a Father’s Day card from anyone.. just a thought.

Chica- I havent seen that exchange yet- KB is one relentless girl isnt she? Have you read Vass’ depo yet? Very informative– I think the defense is going to try to say much of the chloroform was caused by the trash or cleaning they asked about vinegar and alcohol …like the kind you drink…
Vass was brilliant yet again..Mason threatened to “take” Ashton (not sure if he was serious its hard to read joking no benefit of voice inflection)…Baez was ever the helpful questioner and Ashton was well Ashton…

JR very eloquent post- I agree with much of your thoughts, thank you for sharing them. At least I do agree when I am not worrying about stuff like mistrials or the like….

Sue thanks nice to see you- I have tried to step away from this case, but I am too invested in hearing the truth of what happened (which i hope will come out at trial) To bow out now…

TGF- thank you so much. & Thanks for sharing your thoughts IRT Casey and her family I agree- and good luck on the tutoring and test.

Don’t forget Frye hearing tomorrow at 9 am. Vass will still be on the stand.

Were Caylee’s hair strands from the duct tape ever tested for chlorine?

How am I going to watch the trial live from the UK? Anyone have any ideas? I managed to watch some True Court TV recently on my television but not really sure if it was Live or just a recording. Will have to do some googling. Like Mom3.0, I feel I have invested so much of the past 2 years into praying for Justice for baby Caylee. I am now Nanny (Grandma) to a two week old beautiful little girl and the love surrounding her makes me ache for poor little Caylee although I believe Cindy and George loved her and she obviously wanted for nothing materially if the photos are anything to go by. But as we all know she must have spent many hours alone in the sole care of Casey – I can’t bear to go there!!! There is no way Casey was going to be able to prevent Caylee from ‘tellling’ on her; at 2 3/4 most children (and she appeared very bright) are able to communicate extremely well and it wouldn’t have been long before Cindy/George & Casey would have been at full blown war, poor doomed little Caylee being used as a pawn between them.

  34. Mom3.0 says:

    Todays hearing -

First let me start at Cindy’s surprise call to the witness stand and her clear remembrance NOW as apposed to earlier deposition testimony-

    (pp)
Before the deposition The State asked if Cindy had eaten if she was well rested- and if she was on any medications- She answered yes and when asked if these meds would in any way effect her ability to give truthful testimony she said no

Cindy answered direct questioning about the dyror sheets AND the moving of the boots and the cd visor and the bag into the trunk She said SHE did not put the dryer sheets and she did not move those items . She in fact said I dont know why they are there…I had removed everything from the trunk and had put it on the dryer…Is that a ribbon ? what is that-

Peoples memory does not get Btter with time- And if Cindy was on meds then she undoubtedly has been on meds sometime in the last 3 years…she didnt immediately stop the medication.

( Cindys new recollections seemed to have Casey smiling and she actually mouthed I love you too- good work Mom—who cares about Caylee and the truth right? We still can be the CMA club- we’ll just have Caylee’s picture as our crest/mascot… )

Todays court so far has been very contentious. I wish JA would not let them irrate him so badkly- he needs to maintain a steady voice-

As for the stipulation it seems the defense’s now interpetation of what it meant has rendered it almost moot.

Baez is clearly trying to pull on over on the court by not giving the State expert reports and changed opinions ect. I am glad JP is allowing the State to re3depose add witnesses recall witnesses ect- but because of the defense’s shenanigans- I really doubt that the trial will be in May-

Alot of the defense’s expert testimony and exhibits ect were not known before todays Frye Hearing- How is JP going to rule on this issue now, when he will undoubtedly have to wait for The State to do their work?

If today is any indication of how the trial plays out Man oh man- It was undoubtedly IMO shown in court today the defense will try at every opportunity to sneak in new info surprise info surprise witness ect- and how can the State prepare for that? Again JA and the State needs to remain calm and counter with facts/laws evidence.

HJP keeps warning that witnesses may be excluded and that there will be no surprises but at this point respectfully its all hot air-

I am glad JP has laid down some law and that he is ready to fine both sides- but should have gotten to that point?

I am waiting for redirect- but i am not sure what JA can do on cross since he wasnt prepared for most of the testimony.

The defense seems to making some points- not I am not sure how many go to the Frye issue and what the prosecution and Vass would have said did in earlier preparation if they were aware of these new opinions/studies ect.

Hopefully if needed The State will recall him- As of now- it seems we have 2 different countering opinions- Vass’s work is in research with dead bodies and compounds he has found- this experts opinions are that the compounds are not necessarily found in human decomp events- and that these same compounds have been found in other decomp situations like with trash.

The trash did not contain food or cheese or milk it was empty containers, The trash contain PT that had fatty acids consistent with gravewax- this expert says they may have came from cheese or milk–yet the trash is what contaminated vass work and therefore should have been illuminated ….

Which is it the trash with cheese milk shampoo ect (empty containers) caused the decomp event and produced the readings or the trash should be exclude from the equation?

BTW if we are to believe that Frebreese and frabric sheets contain or help to cause chloroform when exposed to common household trash- well Im not comfortable in having them in my home- or letting my son take out the trash…or be a sanitation worker ect

Blink I hope you will give us your thoughts today as I am a little weary of how court/rulings/judge stipulations are playing out…

Have you noticed how the silly old buffoon Mason is actually allowing Casey to flirt with him? I get the definite feeling that she is in charge even in Court. The whole thing is so surreal. I believe Cindy is going to be a liability when put on the stand, she cannot control her mouth and finds it physically impossible to give a yes/no answer. Though I guess lawyers are not known for that trait, lol.

The chance of a group of compounds in trash coming together to produce a toxic compound is pretty remote. All the defense is doing is throwing more stuff out there to confuse the issue.

You well know that this is a chess game designed to create reasonable doubt. I just hope, at trial, the jurors are really listening to the experts and have enough education to see through all the smoke.

Thanks for your encouragement about the exam. There are major revisions this year that includes safety systems, new conduit materials for wet locations, and a host of things about proper testing. What you think of as dishonesty is nothing more than deliberate misdirection in the chess game of client defense. Yes, sometimes lawyers are really not honest, but this doesn’t happen very often.

Inexperience is more than likely the cause of appearing to be dishonest. Boy, one can truly say that this defense team meets all the issues of inexperience. The judge will keep things straight. The threat of $100 dollar fines will stop some of it.

  46. Mom3.0 says:

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts.

Chelsea-congrats on the new baby g-child!

Eloise- Unfortunately it seems Florida, like many states is feeling the pinch-

I wish Honorable Judge Perry had not made an idle threat to extend into the weekend if he thought budget restraints would prevent him from doing so….(By doing that he in essence, now is like the parent who threatens the child with grounding but then has to go back on his threat, because he has to go to work and he can’t pay for a babysitter to watch the child when they are on restriction)

I think like The Prosecution, he thought he could take the Defense at their word (only 2 witnesses)…As we all heard in court today- JP advised Mr Ashton (PP) not to enter into stipulations and Ashton replied- never again Judge, or something to that effect.

It did not take the State long to redirect, what took up so much time today, was The unneeded drama. And of course the many objections and side bars over “new” testimony, scope & relevancy ect

I couldn’t tell if The Defense was necessarily keeping the testimony directed towards the Frye issues or not. And i couldn’t follow along with the testimony and which side was making strides in proving their case, because everything seemed so out of sorts ….

HJP seems to be allowing alot of testimony in, because the jury is not seated, and it seems to avoid fears of appellate issues.

FWIW the afternoon session was much more focused and less drama club.

The Defense did well today if you can overlook the fact that it seems that they played dirty. the witnesses seemed to do well also, if you can overlook the wrong way in which their testimony changed ect- and if you could tell if their testimony was going to the Fyre issue or was completely irrelevant or what…

The State did well on recross and I was proud and relieved when they caught Cindy’s new remembrance…because I was yelling at my screen That IS NOT what she said in her DEPO! The State made their points and refocused the issues towards Frye. If anything The State proved today that they will be able to catch any inconsistency and “new” testimony… that will be powerful in front of a Jury if handled appropriately by the Prosecution…How HJP rules on these issues is a whole different matter.

Dr, Furton was not as personable as Dr.Vass, but seemed very intelligent, although evasive- and I do not know how well that will play in front of a jury. Unfortunately, I do not know enough about the science and arguments to give an opinion on whether or not his opinions made the Defense’s arguments or not.

I thought Ashton did well on cross and got Dr. Furton to agree to alot, and Ashton seemed to make his points.

Linda Drane Burdick did an excellent job on cross -concerning the K-9
issue, Furton seemed less dodgy in his answers and seemed more put together, despite this, IMO LDB decimated his K-9 testimony

Very long day- and I must admit I am in the dark about what exactly today accomplished and what HJP will decide in his rulings….or when he will be able to rule

Quick question: Still pondering Cindy washing Casey’s pants? Why would she do that? I mean, cleaning the car is logical (only to an Anthony that is)-it’s personal (and taxable) property. It’s not like they could take it to a tow yard or scrap it, smelling like decomp. It’s not like they could leave it parked in front of their house for any extended period of time(with people walking in the neighborhood, someone might call the police). The car cleaning I kind of “get”. Why clean the pants when she could have just simply thrown them away, along with the knife? No one else knew Caylee was missing at that point, so no one would have been looking for trashbags with evidence at that point. So, why clean the pants?

  50. NancyS says:

I dont understand why they didnt call 911 at the tow yard, I personally would have had to be carried away in an ambulance with a car smelling like that knowing that it just may be my grandaughter?
