Holly Bobo Missing And Endangered: Are Suspects Naming Themselves- Odd Dodd?

On the eve of the 4 week anniversary of missing Darden, TN nursing student, Holly Bobo, new investigative details are being learned about the case. Two unofficial persons of interest have taken their case “public” in a way.
While blinkoncrime.com was aware of this information, a decision was made to withhold it in the interests of the cases “active” status previously.
That was, until today, when one of the known person’s of interests in Holly’s disappearance, outed himself publicly.
Jonathan Dodd, son of Bradley Grafton Dodd, and Dena Logan Dodd, chose the Parsons topix forum to “defend” himself against what he termed “death threats”.
Blink, Editor In Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com, was able to confirm the poster on the topix forum was indeed, Jon Dodd.
Speaking exclusively to www.blinkoncrime on the condition of anonymity, an extended family member of the Dodd family, sheds more light on Master Dodd’s claims.
“.. Yes, that is definitely him. I have no idea how he can say he does not know the Bobo family, he went to Scotts Hill with Holly for a short time. Karen Bobo, Holly’s Mom, worked for Grafton Dodd, his grandfather, when he was the principle of the Parson’s junior High when it was still there, Brad and Grafton are on the school board, there is no way that is true what is said.

When he is saying something was stolen from the property, he is talking about the ATV you wrote about before, when I saw that, I knew you were aware of him. Sandy called the sheriffs department before she knew that Holly was missing to report that their ATV was stolen. Sandy is also the cheer leading coach at Riverside High, since forever, and she got into some minor trouble a few years back because she got caught rigging the tryouts. Nothing major, but everyone knew about it. Dena, his Mom, was a teacher at Riverside shortly after he got transferred, which is weird again.
Everyone in this family has been covering for Jon since he was a kid. I could not believe when he stabbed Brad with a scissors when he was about 8 1/2, there was a big cover up. Last year Dena moved to Gwinnett County because the grands let him get away with anything. He has a baby with Shelby Sellers and nobody really even knew about that until after.
Jon went to the great-grandparents for a while in Arab, Ala in 2006 after the girl was killed in the car accident that got his ass beat up when he said she deserved it, and again, nobody said a word. Brad and Dena started up that Boy Scouts thing for him and (redacted by blink).
What is he talking about? What does donate DNA mean? O that is totally him, I can tell by the “I get paid to hunt” or whatever. Speaking of hunting, the abandoned cabin that volunteers found, when Grafton was told, was when he refused permission for any other searches and they got a warrant. Grafton and Sandy were seen removing a mattress from that part of the property, the one they found in the place where the outhouses were used recently. (redacted) saw him in WalMart, he looked at her and said he did not do it, I swear. Really scary.
He (Jon) did not donate DNA, it was taken from him in the parking lot of Tuckers Diner, he did not have a choice. The LE came there and showed some papers. Grafton’s was taken too, but I don’t know were, I heard it was at the area of the Pugh property, by that Shayne Austin’s parents house.

The X Factor
A former boyfriend of Holly Bobo’s, Blake Barnett, is also doing nothing to avoid being scrutinized. It is clear from his facebook postings that he is aware of his “celebrity”, and that folks following this case, are reading.
While it does not make him a bad guy, we have confirmed that he has had a background of alleged violence, in a former relationship with Holly Bobo.
He was the first name utttered by Holly Bobo’s parents, Dana and Karen, when they learned of her abduction.
That said, there is no known evidence linking Mr. Barnett to Holly’s disappearance.
Barnett is no stranger to violence, unfortunately, Blake, his brother and sister lost their parents Timothy and Janice in a brutal murder in 1993.
John Robinson, with actus reus assistance from his wife Kimberly, murdered both of the Barnett’s because they were after him for bounced checks.
Amelia, Blake’s little sister, was left in her crib for 48 hours before police found her while looking for the Barnett’s. She survived.
There have been no official suspects or persons of interest named in the disappearance of Holly Bobo in 4 weeks.
There has not been a LE update to her case since May 2.

A motel door card was found Monday close by the other undisclosed evidence/item that was found previously, linked to Holly.
I am aware of it, and it was never linked to Holly.

If this persons’ account is truthful, in regards to Jonathan Dodd, I hope TBI is ALL OVER this kid. Stabbing a kid when he was 8, their “stolen” ATV, a mattress that was moved from the cabin in the woods, denying knowing the Bobo family and so on… Creepy to say the least.

Stop thinking about only yourselves for a minute and just allow yourself to go there “WHAT IF SOMEONE DID THIS MY DAUGHTER?” Picture your precious angel in your mind and what you did to Holly. Heartbreaking thoughts. But that’s the Bobos reality.
Please do the right thing and give them back their daughter or at the very least some peace of mind in knowing where their lil blue eyed girl is or was. She’ll always be their baby, just as yours will always be yours.
Are you not scared of yourself and what you’re capable of? Shouldn’t you protect your child from your rage? Or maybe her mother? Should your child have to grow up without her mother because you lost it again? You don’t know what you will or won’t do, you’re not in control of yourself. I pray for you to find peace.
And by the grace of God I pray you find it within your soul to do the right thing. Amen.

my God. Thank you blink! I’ve never followed a case before but the day she went missing, it hit my heart. I’ve been all around every site. Gatherin a lil here and there. You were always very reliable. I had these two picked for a while. Not going to say much more, but thank you so much for posting this. It’s almost a sense of closure for me. I don’t have to keep checking every second for updates. God bless her family and her poor boyfriend. I pray Jesus will comfort them and give them strength.

I believe the person posting on the Topix site might be his mother or father. Too many deliberate typos and deliberate teenage abbreviations (ie LOLs). Also defending his father for why he works on the school board sounds more like a personal defense. He can’t spell “crowd” but can spell “relevant”??? Looks like protection from a parent to me. JMO of course.
I certainly hope LE remains on this case 24/7 and are soon able to make arrests in this heinous crime. Blink, great work. What arrogant little schmucks. I wonder what some of these kids will think of prison where every night is “date night”.
I see this group are the ones reporting the hotel pass key found and bagged by a Tennessee Patrolman.
Is this a case of an independent group who is making sure that everything gets checked out because they didn’t trust that was happening? Or did Holly’s family get this group involved out of frustration?

My take on Master Dodd (and sorry I lol every time I type that) is, based on his TOPIX posts, that he has a bit of grandiosity going on (well-educated and respected?) and a few entitlement issues, probably from his place high in society (I paraphrase from one of his diatribes). Maybe he’s trying to be charming and light-hearted with his LOLing, but moo he needs to put away the devil-may-care-Cary-Grant impression and get a serious grip. Whether he’s involved or not, Holly’s disappearance has shaken his community and broken a lot of hearts.
Blink, if I’m breaking rules with my comments, I understand if you can’t post this. I don’t want the awesome lawyer to be able to sue based on what I’ve written.
This kid needs to return to school so he can learn how to write a complete sentence. His spelling could use some help too. Until I read Jon Dodd’s last Topix post I was a skeptic. The innuendo about these young kids just seemed unfounded to me. But after reading the first 6 or 7 of his posts tonight, in which he portrays himself as a good ole’ boy who likes hunting, riding around with his guns in his truck to protect his family, and working EMS, suddenly after reading Blink he’s using such phrases as “my oh so awesome so awesome lawyer” and “I’m oh so tickled inside.” His affect just seems…off. Really off. “Oh so awesome”? “Oh so tickled”? How many 19 year old guys talk like that? It’s as if under stress his oddly fragmented personality is starting to peep out from behind the facade. JMO.
It is so sad these guys can’t spell.They write like a five year old.

Like I posted earlier, if his family is well to do or well connected, this could “go away” just like the scissor incident did. TBI, FBI won’t matter if they have the right connections.
The “Good ‘Ole Boy” network has never truely died in the south. It’s up to the public to keep the heat on this one, especially if this odd duck is responsible.
For such a highly educated man Jon Dodd certainly can’t string together a complete sentence and spell correctly.

I hope that LE is about to make an arrest like at any moment here and bring Holly home. I hope and pray with all my might that Holly is still alive and will be reunited with her family very, very, very soon.
It is sad to hear that this person has showed SO many signs of violence and “issues” and everyone ignored/covered them. These are the EXACT things that people should be taking notice of and doing something about before something like Holly, Morgan, and all of the other victims of violent crimes become their next outlet for their anger and issues. These are the types of things that irritate me because he showed signs early on in life of having problems and no one did anything about it and if he is the one who took Holly, and his family is still covering for him, that is just so wrong, and I hope that they are all held indirectly responsible as well.
If you notice these types of signs in somebody, PLEASE don’t turn your head. It is a indication that something is wrong and if you don’t do anything about it, their behavior will eventually evolve, get worse, get more violent, and they will end up doing something like this.
Young woman are in danger enough in today’s world of becoming victims. Society as a whole needs to protect these woman. It starts with paying attention, seeing the signs, and doing something about it before the person escalates to the point where people’s lives are at risk. It is our duty as human beings!!!!

Well I thought him at one point then I dismissed him. But not now, now I am very suspicious of him. Blink if I may ask, is BB some how tied in with JD? And shame on JD’s parents and grandparents for their part in covering up this obviously sick young person’s ways. We all know the heartache of watching our children make mistakes, but at what point do you become so selfish that you would rather over look the truth than actually help your child grow and learn from their actions. So, after reading this, the community feel that the ex BF, has did this and the family is in involved too. LE must be looking in to this, and if is the case, the hope that some guy took her and is holding her, is over, she was kidnap, rape and murdered the same day, the only thing that can come out of this is the arrest of the sick un-human person, and he gives up the location of this beautiful, young girls body.

Yes I know you would have never posted this before hand, but he did go to Topix and out himself. I followed everything he said there. I found it odd that he felt the need to even do that, if your not guilty then why feel the need to go and clear your name. If you know your not, and you have nothing to hide why would you even bother dealing with hearsay on a forum. And I realize he hasn’t been charged with anything, but it all sure looks pretty darn suspicious to me. And the fact that he is riding around with weapons in his vehicle, that are registered to his father, is very odd to me also. Since this is illegal, then how is he getting away with this? And I noticed that he attended both Riverside and Scott Hills. So with everything that has been said it is more than obvious that he wants people to believe he didn’t know the Bobo’s which is a flat out lie. If he had nothing to do with this, then why does it matter if he knew them or not.
He also said on Topix, he had never heard about anyone brutalizing animals before. And he laughed and said wow really land filled with animal bones that is f** insane, Hmmm I found that interesting. I also found it interesting that he said he had never heard of someone being schizophrenic. Lots of interesting things were said by him last night. And his language, and the fact he kept LOLing was very disturbing to me. That is almost something that a nervous person would do. But these are just all my opinions of course.
I read everything he had to say on Topix as well and every last word of it reeked of sociopathic tendencies!

Good post! I agree completely. People in every community need to start paying attention to activities of those who do not behave in a normal manner.
Parents with children who behave as this young man, need to be especially watchful. The fact that he alledges he was driving his fathers vehicle with permission and that vehicle contained weapons for hunting is disturbing. Could this be a “Macho” kid wannabe?
Could he have slipped over the line and acted on his “wild” ideas? IDK.
Blink, I have never seen you so popular. They are all talking about you. I just love how people loose focus of the true picture just to get a chance to trash. To Holly and her family…Blink has only one focus and that is to bring light to what happened to this dear child. Her plate is overflowing at this time with missing children, murdered children as well as the families that are in the worse place they could ever be at this time. Reasonable, compassionate, advocates- I say ignore it, it is meant to distract from progress in this case.

Watching the youtube video of Holly and her friends just made me so sad. I am typing this while wiping tears. It is so terribly disheartening to think that this beautiful child has just vanished. I am just horrified at thoughts of what may have happened to her. I have a 16 yr old daughter and noone ever in their worst nightmares, imagines that this could happen so quick and in ones own driveway. My daughter now thinks that I am crazy because I want her to take so many precautions.
As far as my opinion of J.D. He is a narcissistic sociopath. Not that all that are “diagnosed” with these disorders can or will do the things that someone has done to Holly. However, the fact that J.D.’s family have enabled his behaviors by making excuses or flat out denying and making things “go away”, certainly have compounded the problems that J.D. has.
I wasn’t convinced that whoever it was that took Holly was reading these forums before last night…now I am pretty sure that they are. Be it J.D. or not. I now would like to make a plea to this person…
Please tell someone what you did with Holly…it’s so terrible what you have done, there is no way to make this situation right, no way that it is going to go away. If you have a child then certainly you must have some idea of what this has done to her family. You prob don’t even care, however all hope is not lost for you. There is always the insanity defense. The first step in making your life better and you getting the help that you need is to tell someone where Holly is. As I pray for Holly, I also pray for you and your family. You are someone’s child also. And I am sure that they love you very much. I am sure that it is an uncondition love that Holly’s parents feel for her. Please help yourself and your family.
To this person’s family…please get your child the help that they need, we all make mistakes as parents, we all love our children to the point that we can look over their obvious faults. This is way beyond the “bad boy” stage. It’s time to step forward and try to get your child help. It’s time to do the right thing not only for them but for everyone envolved in this tragedy. That is the only way to salvage anything that is left for your child.

I am not sure what to think.
I will say that this young man should have a lawyer regardless of guilt or innocence and he most definitely should not be posting and arguing over the internet.
I hope that who ever took Holly is aware that this situation will not just go away. I would hope that this person would understand that the best thing to do would be to tell their family, contact a lawyer and help the Bobos find Holly. It would be best IMO no matter the circumstances to come clean now, and help the family then to wait until a case as been built up and Holly is found by some other means.
My prayers for Holly, her family, all involved, and the community.
