I found it absolutely appalling that a defense team would celebrate this case and the fact that Atty. Mason would chose to give the public the “finger” – what a why to show professionalism.

The jury is just “dumb”, sorry to offend, but come on, “CSI” is not the real world, everything isn’t wrapped up in a neat, tidy package for you. Again, when cases are based on technology then the jury has to have the ability to comprehend the technology, otherwise, we are in for many more of these cases.

By the way, wasn’t Florida the state that couldn’t push the right buttons when voting a couple of years ago, because they were confused.

What goes around comes around and it will for this murdered in this case.

I didn’t follow this case until the trial. What I heard today from the courtroom attendees about the reactions and words of George and Cindy went against everything I thought, that they were in denial, and came out the other side. Now I wonder, are they the ACThony’s?

I too think that would be a good idea- perhaps as citizens we should have to get schooling inorder to be a juror, just like a permit or license to drive..when we turn 18 or when our name comes up, we should all have to successfully pass a training course for jury service- which teaches a course on what exactly reasonable doubt is- and what it means to not take an opening statement as evidence ect ect-

maybe two jury’s should simultaneously sit- and their isnt a verdict rendered until each group comes back with the same verdict- perhaps the jury shuldnt be allowed to mingle with one another I dont know what the answer is, I really dont.

perhaps it isnt the jury we need to reform but perhaps it is the for profit defense- perhaps all lawyers state or otherwise should all be appointed not bought and paid for-

Something went horribly wrong in this case. If we dont learn from the mistakes we are doomed to repeat them IMO it is not acceptable that even one innocent person is found guilty nor is it acceptable that one guilty person goes free.

Hi Blink, I’m wondering if my overly long post to TGF from noon today is still in moderation? Had told him last night I’d wanted to reply to his great post he made to me. TGF I appreciated it!

Was thinking of Judge Perry and how some are angry they think he rushed the trial. I’m thinking when he ordered sequestration and obviously folks were away from home, he knew we live in speedy fast times with blackberries, IPhones, text, twits, on and on. I read somewhere that advertisers have researched the average persons attention span and it came to 7 seconds. I think His Honor knows this stuff and to not speed it along to a degree would be to risk it backfiring if it went on too long. Delicate balance.

I fear we are addicted to our new toys and way of life, well I am anyway:). I mean to be w/out TV, phones, internet, etc… for as long as they were is pretty primitive sounding in todays world. A generation ago we were virtually cave dwellers.

  5. everyone's a suspect says:

I can’t help but wonder if those jurors that initially wanted to convict decided to give in because it meant they could all go home.

  6. Sad Day says:

The reason that the names should be released is that we are starting to hear that apparently while in sequestration their families were being contacted. We are hearing that a booker somehow got credentials and got to see the jurors and thereby approach one. Who gave out the names? I doubt it was Judge Perry.

What is our system of justice if we hide what may have, could have, did, or didn’t happen during this sequestration.

Only with total and open Court Process and Governmental Bodies is there any accountability.

We know that at least 5 or 6 of these jurors had run ins with the law in the past.

I must be brutally honest. I HATE Casey Anthony. And even worse, I hate how much hatred I FEEL. I hate these awful feelings! In my heart, I truly believe that Casey murdered her daughter. I hate her families lies. I hate her legal team for many reasons. I hate that the jury didn’t perform properly. I hate that Casey may become pregnant again. I hate her damn smirk. Etc., etc.,etc.

Dear Lord, please deliver justice for Caylee Marie Anthony. Lord, heal our hearts and souls. God, please bless us and relieve our immense sadness and feelings of hate. Please help us put our energies to love, kindness, and the pursuit of good.

Wow. I just listened to Juror #3′s interview. My first thought was that the interviewer was not smart enough to ask the correct questions. At least we have a starting point for the next interviewer to go from.
She basically said that they all cried because they knew Casey did it but that it was not proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. It is a shame that they were unable to add all of those twos.
I am still too stunned to have any prolific thoughts drain through my fingers onto the keyboard. I reckon them taterheads were just not aware of how simple it all really was. Beyond the countless hours of techbabble it still all just boiled down to a young narcissist stealing the life of an innocent.

    ————————————————

With all due respect, people by definition do not boycott anything, anyone or any product when they are happy with the product or service they are receiving, only when they are angered, upset or disillusioned with it. That’s what boycotting is.

    Legal Dictionary

    Main Entry: boy·cott
    Pronunciation: ‘boi-”kät
    Function: transitive verb
: to engage in a concerted refusal to have dealings with (as a store, business, or organization) usually to express disapproval or to force acceptance of certain conditions.

I agree with your post about the juror training. Our society has been subjected to fiction that is passed off as possible (i.e. TV shows about crime and the sciences they use).

We are witnessing the result of many people who have a high school diploma that they have difficulty reading. The technology of our times plays its role as well. My friends and I often speak of the fact that young people today have a difficult time concentrating for more than a minute or two. I am not talking about babies and young children, these are teenagers and twenty somethings.

The use of DNA in a court dates from 1988, just twenty-three years ago. It would be very interesting to read the transcript of that first trial and have the thoughts of the jurors to compare.

We saw a trial that included much new science that in the future will have an impact on how it affects LE and the criminal justice system.
This IMO is not junk science as characterized by Mr. Baez. It is science in the making for the future. I applaud the court and the prosecution for bringing it into this case.

Many people resist change. They do not want to be uncomfortable. Others embrace change and become better citizens because of it.

Is is time to have a requirement for all who are of age to serve on juries to have to be trained how to do the job? I think so.

Thanks to FISA we now have secret courts, warrant-less wiretaps and illegal secret warrants, not only is the public completely in the dark, so is the intended target. We also have grand juries, which are also shielded from public scrutiny. FOIA requests are turned down everyday.

No, our govt isn’t as open and transparent as we would like to believe it is, far from it.

She stated that the jurors would argue and then, whoever was in favor of acquittal, would ask, “So how did Caylee die?” Because no one could answer the exact cause of death, these people made the leap that there was no proof that a crime had occurred.

    ———————————————–

We’re being PUNK’ed, right? Because this blathering ignorance can’t genuinely be real. I mean, seriously?

Ms. Ford honestly believes just because they couldn’t determine HOW Caylee died (which isn’t the burden of the state by FL law), that that automatically must mean that no crime occurred at all? Huh?

And this woman is a nursing student???? Wow, just wow. It must be the ‘new math.’

Next she will be telling the public that 2 + 2 doesn’t actually equal four. And that the sky is actually fluorescent green and purple. Oh yeah … and defense teams always tell the truth, exactly as it is because they are so honorable and seek the truth at all costs. Even if they open their opening statements with “Caylee died from accidental drowning on June 16, 2008″ and close with “We have no idea how Caylee died.” WTH?

I feel like I’m in a parallel universe. Help me get out.

With that fuzzy logic, I feel sorry for any patient that has this woman as their future nurse, I mean, honestly. Maybe Ms. Ford and Cindy Anthony can compare nursing notes sometime. They appear to have come from the same school …. the school of irrational thought.

So basically what are we left with after these lame and ignorant statements? We are apparently left to believe that if you commit murder with duct tape, it’s as if it never happened because duct tape isn’t even a “murder weapon” and doesn’t count. Be prepared for a whole slew of these to pop-up, post Anthony in the near future. Evidently it’s a proven “get out of jail free” card because everyone knows that it’s perfectly normal for a child to have duct tape wrapped 3 times around their head and be thrown into a swamp, right?

No harm, no foul I guess … sigh. Guess I’ll go eat my Twinkie now. I feel a bit sick to my stomach, but I’ll get over it. After all … it wasn’t my duct tape … or my child. Hmm … wonder what’s on “Dancing with the Stars” tonight? Unreal.

How did they come to the conclusion no crime occurred? Caylee had duct tape over her chin, face and nose. Use your common sense. Juror’s took the easy way out. They did not want to “argue” the case.

Here’s a group for you ICA: http://www.experienceproject.com/groups/Am-A-Compulsive-Liar/115773. I would think not only would anyone around her be afraid for their finances, they would be afraid for their lives as well. Once she uses you, bye-bye. And unfortunately, she has learned a lot and is way over-empowered in some ways after this. Traditional societies/some church groups shun the evil doers and literally turn their backs on them (I have seen this happen in parades and other public events as well) and that is what the citizens can do. The masochists can do as they like.

Will the citizens take up “Casey Anthony – NIBMY” like they do for toxic dumps and SOs?

Wanting to race to their money deals?
We don’t need to hear any more from these guys, their time is over, 1 juror was enough. Oh sorry, the juror who was hoping to cash in, you have nothing new to say and so why would anyone want to listen in and why would anyone pay? No point in watching these guys folks.

Re: the charges against George. While many, many kids are molested unfortunately, it is also getting more popular for kids to accuse parents of that if they can’t get a car or something from them, so it takes being very careful around this not to err on either side, it can cause so much harm.

Yes, but isn’t that just a smokescreen by OCSO for safety reasons? Are they really going to let her out on July 17th or are they just telling the public that so no protestors, irate Americans, vigilante justice seekers, etc are waiting for her when she walks out that door? A part of me thinks OCSO is trying to pull a Baez on the release date because they don’t really want the people to know.

Be afraid, Casey … be very afraid. You are the most hated woman in America right now. Forget Texas, honey. You better have a one-way ticket to Asia after all this. Exactly lyla! To the jury with a cumulative IQ of 20, I say this:

It is better to be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. DUH, people! I have visions of Patrick Star from Spongebob sitting behind the jury as they spew their ignorance on primetime going, “Uh … duh … duh … uh … uh ….”

Did any of these people actualy graduate from high school?? It’s no wonder most defense attorneys don’t usually want college-educated and graduate degreed people for bigger trials in a jury. Those people are usually smart enough to be able to wade through any BS and look at evidence and proven facts instead of spaghetti being thrown at a wall which is exactly what the defense did and accused the prosecution of.

Basically all college is supposed to actually do is to teach you how to truly THINK more than anything else. I think these people completely missed that boat. It obviously set and sailed long ago. Now that they’ve actually spoken, I kinda wish they’d actually shut up. I can’t take the idiocy anymore. It’s laughable and I’m honestly ashamed to think maybe this is what we have to look forward to in the future.

The ship of fools cruise has set sail for Jose’s fantasyland and logic has died a tragic death this week.

By any chance did any of these jurors have any unknown ties to Lee, extended family or any of Casey’s friends? I just find it really hard to believe honestly that something doesn’t stink to high heaven here. Everything the jurors have said so far just doesn’t make any logical/rational sense no matter how many times I try to understand it and I’m an educated person. What else am I missing??? It’s like the sky suddenly isn’t blue anymore and the grass isn’t green. Did the Second Coming happen already and I missed it somehow? Are we now all in a parallel universe?

In all of the cases I am aware of where this has been done, the civil rights have been violated by persons acting “under color of law” – generally law enforcement, public officials, etc. This obviously would no apply to an unemployed single mother. OJ was never prosecuted by the feds.

    As for the civil suits:
    1) The defendant doesn’t have to reply – the court can just issue a summary judgement.
    2) You can “win” a lot of money, but it is up to the plaintiff to collect.
    3) There is a reason OJ moved to Florida after he lost his civil suit. There is a reason many Florida physicians do not have malpractice insurance and still practice. Florida is a strong property rights state. Although it is easy to win a case in Florida, it can be very hard to collect. Casey has no money, she owns no real estate and is unemployed Very few attorneys would take on this case on a contingency basis (40% of $0 is $0).

When are charges to be filed against Cindy for accessory to murder/obstruction of justice? The state did not have to determine how Caylee died, just that she died, and that it is reasonable to make the deduction that Casey being the last one to be seen with Caylee, would make her the killer. That she had a hand in the cover up. NOPE..they didnt want to believe that either, they wanted to condemn George an innocent man, who had nothing to do with this..And they didnt want to be judgemental? I say BULL!! They clearly made up their own damn story and thats the truth. They are just as bad as Casey if not worse, they let a killer walk when they could have sought justice if only they would have taken the time to do the right thing and actually deliberate, as was their job.

I knew I’d heard that exact phrase used in opening statement by Baez but never got around to confirming it (to myself). I’m now watching – the only thing on tv – and sure enough….. Baez said “This was an accident that snow balled out of control”.

First of all, River made a statement (somewhere, sorry please don’t ask, I can’t remember everything, that she was upset because George had stopped visiting her sending only text messages instead. This is, IMO, a woman scorned and she became a player in the scheme cooked up by Casey’s attorneys that George and Cindy HAD to go along with to save their daughter’s life. I can’t say I wouldn’t do the same. I don’t believe Casey told that story…I think her attorney’s came up with it TOO WIN THE CASE. I’m appalled that these disgusting people (attorneys) can get away with this crap. It’s so obvious, to me, that all these people are involved in MAKING UP A STORY. River used the EXACT words Baez used. It was, IMO, planned, rehearsed and carried out before the jury knowing full well they couldn’t AND WOULDN’T HAVE TO prove a word they said.

I’m rambling so I’ll shutup. I know you’re all going through this emotional nightmare so I hope you understand.

    Watch day #43 Trial Part #3 http://www.wftv.com/video/28408249/index.html

where (Krystal Holloway, River Cruz)is testifying, then steps down. She goes up to Biaz, he points to the door at the back of the court room, and she walks so fast like she is going to walk right out the door, but she comes to a abrupt stop at the back by the exit. She steps to the side as if hiding, and motions with her arm for her sister to come in the door. Her sister steps in the doorway, then she does hand signals to somebody. One of the hand motions that appears to me is either (smooth sailing) with her hand signal or (the plan is in motion) and then it appears that by using the fingers as hand signals, could be #1 #2 #3 maybe more numbers with her fingers. I wish I could watch it in slow motion to be sure. Next thing I saw Simms walking over by the back of the door with her laptop, then Biaz walks over there behind her. Simms has her laptop with her and its wide open, pretending like she is showing it to Biaz, when you can clearly see Simms is turning it so River Cruz and her sister can see it. You can clearly see the sneaky crap they are doing with the shifting of their eyes reading whats on Simms laptop! Its so obvious whats going on. Please watch the whole video of the day River Cruz is on the stand. Also the sneaky part of Biaz and not wanting Ashton to see whats on his laptop earlier in the video. I think something is not right with that day. I wanted others to see this, I know the hand motion’s is not my imagination from River Cruz sister to Simms and Biaz. They were up to something that day. I’m sorry this is so long, I just had to get this off my mind, been driving me crazy. I have been everywhere looking and reading to see if anybody else has seen this, before I posted this to you, but I didn’t see it in any of the forums or anywhere. I feel like I am the only one that has noticed this.

The state did not have to determine how Caylee died, just that she died, and that it is reasonable to make the deduction that Casey being the last one to be seen with Caylee, would make her the killer. Not hard to figure out. Also the jury did not believe the prosecution, nor did they believe the defense that by their own admission Casey was there when Caylee died.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I hope George sues Baez for his slanderous, outrageous accusations. And Cindy Anthony needs to do a search for the word “perjury”! The trial was a circus and the jury had their minds on things other than the facts.

I shall repeat my Disneyland Court ditty:

    “Dreams may come true
    Unless you are two
    Wrapped in Winnie the pooh
    Duct taped by loony loo”

No one can wrap their head around the dirty Subway washcloth of an excuse that there was “no cause of death” so that’s why 12 pieces of evolutionary slime (true peers of Casey Anthony) let that baby killer go. In my court of law I’d have a prosecution that could make a jury payola case out of that statement. Winnie the pooh blanket – hello Juror number “we gotcha number”. Duct tape from the Anthony house, hello Juror number “we gotcha number”. A baby shower sticker on the duct tape, hello Juror number “we gotcha number”. Baby found dumped up the street. And you let this baby killer walk because of what? You’re all some forensic experts that needs cause of death. I bet you are the kind of people that spelled “cause” “cuz” and dident no dere wuz a dfferunce. And saw how to make big money off Caylee’s dead back. Yeah you’re all throwing up all the way to the bank. Someone had better keep tabs on all your bank accounts for the next 5 years. There is no healing over this, there’s only corrective action, to prevent jury perversion that allows baby killers to hide behind the Constitution.

My freaking cats get treated better than that 2 year old baby. My old kitties(2 of them) each got buried with their toy treasures, wrapped in silks, with semi-precious stones, candles lit for their soul at the church, special prayers quietly said for them, and again on the 40th day. Every pet owner I know treats their dearly departed PETS with special decorum, and it is always very personal to that family. Never heard of duct tape. Each family handles their dead pets differently. Casey was brought up in a house that handled a dead pet with some decorum. Duct tape. That scum threw her kid away worse than a dead dog. Bottom line, jurors, the freaking stoopid paid off jurors closed their eyes to so very much, but how they could close their eyes to a child buried worse than the Anthony family dog or cat is what they’ll have to explain to their God. If they still have one. How a family buries their dead pets is a bleeping signature.

Personally at this point – it is worth remembering that Melissa Huckaby – mother of the year in CA – raped Sandra Cantu with a rolling pin and then Sandra died, I’d believe that’s exactly on the order of what psychopath Casey Anthony and/or her male friend did to her poor baby. Perhaps Casey had starting pimping Caylee out for money. LE found poor Sandra in time to figure it out, seems to me Casey would have learned well from Melissa’s mistake. See when you don’t say what happened – and your pimp of a lawyer says first baby Caylee drowned, then says no one knows what happened – and the paid-off, likely mobbed-up jury bought that – we the people are just gonna assume stuff like this is what happened. And make it stick. And we the people, you Casey, you used piece of used-toilet paper, we are the society you so want to belong to. Welcome back, you piece of sewage. Flush.

I WANT TO START A PETITION CALLED ” DO NOT PAY’ For any info from any of the Anthonys, the defense team, or the Jurors
also market duct tape with caseys picture on it, all proceeds go to “child abuse” victims! This verdict is so WRONG!!!

The village idiots, clearly cast from a little known Disneyland Village Idiot set, who obviously give out their SSNs all the time over the phone to anyone there being no evidence the caller is a thief) … now say they were not shown any evidence Casey was anything but a loving Mom. Hello, did that village idiot of a juror spouting off, hear of Melissa Huckaby, one of CA’s Stellar Moms of the Year. “Such a loving Mom”. Remember that quote? Huh Idiot-Juror Number 6 or 12 or 1, whoever you are, google “Melissa Huckaby” + “A Good Mom”. She too drugged her own kid like Casey, and raped a neighbor’s kid to death with a rollingpin. MH had folks saying how good a mom she was and how they were surprised she would do something like that. Caylee was a real life child, it was not a movie y’all got invited to, where you could write your own fantasy ending. And folks out there,I hope do NOT stop the backlash, until real legislation is on its way to FIX THIS MESS. A jury is expected to have a certain level of IQ, societal awareness, and be screened for “yuckiness”. I wouldn’t let any member of that jury walk my dog.

  45. Sweetie_Pi says:

I am waiting to hear one of the 12 village idiots say “WE made a huge mistake”. I want to hear one of them have their “come to Jesus” moment before something about this case goes back to court. It’s their only salvation, and they, each and every one, knows it.

  46. M Harris says:

HELP!!! I didn’t start following Caylee’s case until the last two weeks of trial. I thought I knew the entire story from reading here and watching television coverage and thought it was over when the jury ‘spoke’. However, it just won’t go away and I’m realizing that I don’t know HALF the story. I now want to go back to the beginning and read EVERY WORD on BOC. I don’t know how to get there!!!!

Please don’t suggest that I ‘read’ as I’ve been reading for days. Just lead me to the beginning, please, and thank you!

Hi M Harris…..Simms, Biaz and River Cruz, especially her sister are up to something. I hope Blink watches the video and reports it back to Scared Monkeys site, so they can see it too. It clearly shows Simms and Biaz were being sneaky with the hand signals from River Cruz sister to them. They think nobody seen them. This VIDEO should be sent to Law Enforcement….. Blink could you show this video to the monkeys? http://www.wftv.com/video/28408249/index.html

Deb, I don’t know how to get to where I need to go to post on SM. It is busy over there!!! I’m sure Blink will respond ASAP. I’m sure she’s quite busy ’bout now. I feel your frustration. I’m reading things about the Anthony family that would frighten Stephen King!

Blink, I hope you’ll also answer questions to my post above.
