Isabel Celis Abduction BREAKING NEWS: Docs Show Blood In Bedroom Police Eye Family AND Neighbor

*LIVE TONIGHT On THE DANA PRETZER SHOW Blink Discusses The Isabel Celis Case*

Clink To Listen

After 550 plus pages of what amounts to discovery in a likely criminal case, Friday afternoon yielded a window to the world of the investigation of missing 6 year old Isabel Mercedes Celis.

Isa, according to the document release consisting of 6 packets of PDF files of police incident and timesheet reports  was last seen by her Father who kissed her goodnight and dimmed her bedroom light after showering and braiding of her hair by her Mother Becky in anticipation of her baseball game the next morning with the Diamondbacks.

Isabel’s baseball Jersey number is #4.

The “goodnight kiss” was the first time the public has heard the actual version in his words containing the account that he was the last person to see Isabel before her disappearance as well as confirm that her window was closed when he closed the door.

Certainly not unexpected to hear a loving father’s tender goodnight detail to his baby girl, but most unexpected was the revelation that on Isabel’s bedroom floor was an obvious area of blood.

While it has not been disclosed whose blood was located on the floor of the southeast middle bedroom located on E 12th St, Sergio and Becky Celis were required to provide blood samples under a warrant obtained a few days later.

The Usual Suspects- FAMILY

It is clear from the released reports that a significant amount of time and effort has been spent on investigation of Sergio Celis and Becky’s brothers Bob Rodriguez and Justin Mastromarino as previously reported on www.blinkoncrime.com   Mastromarino’s own niece Chelsea and her fiancée Danny Cline told a shoe salesperson and subsequently investigators that they believe he is a drug dealer and owes someone a great deal of money and Isa was taken for some purpose to satisfy that debt.

A truck owned by Bob Rodriguez  was removed by warrant from in front of the Celis home without warning and a towel which tested negative for blood but reacted to luminol was taken into evidence as well as a pocket knife from its contents.

Blood evidence was found in the driver’s seat of the Toyota Corolla mostly driven by Sergio Celis and the red inoperable Acura as well as a stained shower curtain and white hat.  Keeping in mind, Tucson PD released some documents that are heavily redacted as they are required via a freedom of information act request, by any standard; the completeness of the response teams and first responders to the scene and the surroundings was swift and MASSIVE.

Exactly one week earlier on April 13th, Sergio Celis received several criminal citations to include dogs running at large, without proper vaccinations and licenses.   Celis pled not guilty during an arraignment on April 26th and is due back in court on June 4th.

At the risk of inserting a glib remark in the middle of such a macabre subject matter- Who let The Dogs Out?  Who, Who Who?

Who prompted the report to Tucson City Police in the first place?  Was someone attempting to have the animals removed from the residence a week earlier?

Do all the dogs belong to the Celis’s or are they housing them for a family member who now lives in an apartment and cannot keep a pet?

Perhaps this is an indication that what looks to be a fortified and nearly impenetrable without detection abode is, well, not so much.  In a video of Isabel singing and dancing to an Abba song (undated but presumed recent) it is clear that the living room window, which shares the same outside wall as the window next to it separated by the interior wall Sergio references in his 911 call, is clearly open.

Celis LR Open BOC

On May 11, citing a previous CPS involvement in December of 2011 and “to provide time and distance” between Sergio and his two sons,  Sergio Celis voluntarily agreed to a no contact order after a CPS meeting which was instigated by the detectives working on Isabel’s case- due to “information they learned in the course of the investigation” into Isabel’s disappearance.

What prompted the concerns exactly has not been made public and the order remains in effect.  Becky Celis and Sergio’s sister refuted any allegations that Mr. Celis was anything but a model dog owner, Father and Husband at a public vigil for Isabel.

No doubt Sergio Celis’s use of the word abducted and his inappropriate lack of hysteria during the 911 call has made him a defacto suspect if only in the minds,  thoughts… and blogs of those following Isabel’s case.

It is not the only oddity.  During his first interview at the scene with police,  Sergio states he is aware of the registered sex offender down the street, he knows him, and he does not believe him to be involved.

Is that a natural response of a parent who has knowledge of the sex offender status of a neighbor when he has just learned his child is missing?

That said,  in the interviews of Sergio Celis’s employers who have known him for several years, he was found to be an exemplary employee, model husband and family man whose advice one dental surgeon sought often for his own personal situation.

It is standard protocol for detectives to conduct a parallel investigation of the victims family,  in this case where a 6 year old child seemingly disappears from the window of her bedroom sometime between midnight and 6:30AM,  with three dogs on the premises,  a stranger abduction within the walls of what looks like a mini Alamo replica defies statistics and logic.

Or Does it?

Neighborly Concern

Matching footprints in the soft dirt around a green electric box along the south wall of the Celis home,  on the top of the electric box and on a gas meter box – all along on the southeast perimeter of the wall leading to the alley ( S. Jefferson and E. Cooper) were found by a first response mobile team member and described as “wolverine” pattern as opposed to standard police issue work boots.

Alicia Sturdevant, the infamous neighbor lady who heard male voices outside Isabel’s window as well as barking dogs at 6:28 AM the morning of her disappearance,  gave that account in her first interview adding to her credibility of a fresh witness account.   Someone posting from another neighbor’s face book account  belonging to a Chris Pike, an adult child sibling to a playmate of the Celis children seems to think Ms. Sturtevant’s account is untrue,  but has not specified why.

By  approximately 8:30AM the morning of Saturday April 21, Tucson Police Department has been on scene for several minutes, has completed initial interviews with the family, incident command has been established and officers begin the immediate knock and talk canvases in the hopes of finding Isabel, or information useful to locating her.

They begin next door and proceed door to door,  upon reaching the home of Michael Dimitriov, who informs the officer that he is a RSO, one officer is requested to wait there for a detective interview, and requests to search the home and cars.

At approximately 8:40 Officer Bustamonte  is greeted at the door by Alicia Gregory.  She states she and her boyfriend went to bed at midnight but heard nothing unusual.  According to the officer’s notes,  he only speaks to Alicia, in fact, he spells her boyfriend’s  name phonetically as he heard her say it: Nathan McDonell.

Mr. Nathan McDonald is not at the residence.

Officer Robinson is then directed to go to Freedom Park to continue search efforts for Isabel, as her team was playing the baseball game scheduled for that morning in her absence.   Upon arrival, it was learned that  only Isabel’s coach had been informed that she was missing during an earlier call from Sergio Celis.

As Robinson is circling back to receive further assignments in continuing efforts to find Isa,  he is tasked with keeping track of vehicles leaving the immediate neighborhood of 12th and Van Buren and notes a green Jetta GLS parked to the East of Craycroft on E. 14th St.  After running  it’s plates to learn it is registered to a Nathan Patrick McDonald, resident of E. 12th St ., the officer informs Sgt. Dana, incident commander.  A redacted portion of the conversation appears in the report.

Nates Isa Excursion

This occurs at 10:15AM.  Between 10:15 and 10:35, the officer observes McDonald emerge from the South end of the Wilshire Park field,  carrying a large maglite.  McDonald crosses through the middle of the field and when he reaches his vehicle,  the officer approaches and  McDonald confirms that the green Jetta is his vehicle.  He tells him he had heard about the missing girl and was out searching tunnels and washes to the north and south where he found nothing.

McDonald “abruptly” informs the officer he must leave to go home to EAT BREAKFAST and leaves the area in his vehicle.  BASTA  informs ALL  radio contact assigned of his exchange with the subject and a call to other officers on duty with orders to record all vehicles,  including taking images of all vehicles currently parked on E. 12th st .

By 10:45AM all are instructed to stop, log plate and driver info and request consent search every vehicle coming in or out of the area.

Chris Lutzelberger, a resident of S. Essex St who likely observed the exchange between  McDonald and the officer,  asked him what all the police presence in the neighborhood was about.

Lutzelberger informed Robinson him  that a man matching McDonald’s description was sitting on an electrical box located behind his residence earlier that morning from approximately 9AM-9:30Am at which time he told the individual to leave.

By 11AM, as security was requested by another officer at 11:23AM, a wash no more than 50 yards from where McDonald entered the south end of the park yielded a sheet, bed skirt, and a bag of clothes that were processed at the scene and taken into evidence.

A warrant was secured hours later at the McDonald/Gregory home on E. 12th St.  Taken into evidence was a shoeprint on landscaping “fabric” from the backyard.  Shoeprints were now collected on 3 other surface areas.

    Blink-
Just listened to your interview. Your commentary is excellent and very easy to follow. I was glad I listened as well as read your summary. Thanks:-)

Question: I wanted to know why police would not have just shown Celis parents the clothing items they collected for evidence? Wouldn’t it be easy to determine from parents ID of items if they belonged to Isa or not? It seems it would at least give LE something more to go on…..

Can we please all move here?

Excellent article Blink but the comments are off so I will put it here. I’m still hinky about the father and son living near the Celis’. Could the wolverine boot prints on the elec boxes outside the huge wall around the home be those of a second person being a lookout? Maybe the person on the boxes was looking in the window and saw tv light (windows in pics look like they have no blinds/drapes) and a sleeping Sergio then used the box closest to Isa’s window to climb over? Now I wanna know what kind of shoes Mr. McD was wearing on his trek that morning? Alicia, the super close neighbor, knew where Isa’s window was and pointed out on tv footage so it’s highly poss her bf was watching Isa for a while!

they are on, thanks melisb, no idea how that happened- sorry.

melisb- the electrical box is located within the wall of the residence meaning one would have to breach the fence to be standing on it.

Wow, just got done catching up and listening to the podcast from last night- my first one! Anyways, a couple of things….I thought of this yesterday in regards to SC’s rather calm demeanor (spelling?) on the 911 call- I totally agree with what a previous poster stated (Kris?) that if SC was involved, given his acting background, I would think that he would have at least “acted” a little more concerned/distressed etc. Given the fact that he didn’t leads me to believe, he was merely placing the call based on BC’s instructions and that he probably didn’t believe she had actually been abducted yet.

Along with others, I too wonder if the “dog troubles” the days before were not someones attempt to get rid of the dogs in anticipation of the abduction- no dogs= easier access.

I find it interesting that the niece, Chelsea and her fiancee stated that they thought SC was a drug dealer and they felt the abduction was in regards to that-not sure I believe that’s what happened anymore (at one time I suspected it, but now with the interesting facts with the neighbor, not so much). However, could it be thatif they suspect SC is a drug dealer, this is why the boys have been placed with BC?

The facts that have come out about the neighbor, NM, make my stomach turn- I was so hoping that Isa was alive and taken for revenge or a threat-or even that this was some sort of hoax (these would all be cases where in my eyes, Isa could still be alive), however, If NM is involved- I feel like there is little chance. Broke my heart to hear you say on the podcast that there was evidence pointing to her not being with us anymore (paraphrased)- in fact I was almost in shock- I really thought there was a good chance for a happy ending-not so much anymore. But, I continue to hold hope and pray for Isa!

Alicia and Mr. McD living so close to lots of barking dogs must be real irritating! Wonder if he lodged the complaint? OSU’s idea abt getting rid of the dogs for a better chance at grabbing little Isa could have been the plan. Anyone know if animal ctl impounded them? Were all the dogs home the night Isa went missing?

I believe McDonald has 2 dogs himself, and yes, all 3 dogs were at the Celis home that night.

One question from this new article Blink. Alicia Sturdevant and Alicia Gregory are in fact two different people? I didn’t recall reading anything specifically about Alicia Gregory prior to this and I just wanted to double check. Thanks.

Correct. Ms. Gregory is a co-owner of the E. 12th St home with Nathan McDonald

@ OSU Fan – ‘Mastromarino’s own niece Chelsea and her fiancée Danny Cline told a shoe salesperson and subsequently investigators that they believe he is a drug dealer and owes someone a great deal of money’….I read this as meaning the niece believe that Mastromarino is the drug dealer, not Sergio. Blink – am I wrong?

I’m curious what kind of relationship Mastromarino and McDonald had, if any. Friends? both drug dealers? didn’t know each other at all?

It’s surprising how quickly LE seems to have acted in regards to a warrant and questioning of McDonald. Now if only the could find Isa. Last week I thought LE had no clue as to a suspect. But with the release of these documents I’m more hopeful that there may be an end in sight.

Correct on Mastromarino. That warrant was served about 10:30PM Saturday evening the 21st with no note about requesting a consentual search. There is an error in a recap report that makes it sound like McDonald was home in the am when the home was first visited I hope the officer corrects.

How did McDonald here ISA was missing and out looking with a Maglite and already returning so early in the am? Hinky meter going off. Not sayin’ he did anything, but more than obvious he was up to something.
Did Ms. Alicia Gregory confirm when Nathan left the house?

Is it possible that Ms. Gregory called Nathan after police came to the door that morning and he was already out and decided to look around for Isabel? Definitely possible, I know a pic of his cell phone was taken during the warrant execution.

That said, what is he sitting on the electric box for half an hour and telling le he checked the tunnels ( opposite direction and within walking distance of his home) and a wash that ends up yielding evidence less than 30 minutes later? You can bet these are issues that got an immediate warrant order.

  17. NY Liz says:

So McDonald isn’t home at 8:40 – is he claiming that he was already searching for Isa? If so, why is he sitting around on an electrical box for a half hour (9-9:30)?

During the search LE collected footprints. Have any shoes from anyone been collected yet?

Not contained in the docs to date, I suspect they will not be forthcoming if there were, fwiw.

Always great to hear ya Blink- Thanks to Dana for having you on

Isa’s case has me going round in circles.

Blink you offered up the scenario of McDonald already being out and about- Plausible-
This guys actions and series of whereabouts gave me pause too.

Obviously it had concerned LE also.

If this guy turns out to be uninvolved- then its a shame heis good intentions made Police waste time and resources.
I wonder if his GF knew what he was up to when she answered the door, and if so why didnt she alert LE to McDonalds helpful nature…

She did say they went to bed around Midnight… when did they awaken?

Seems like it would have had to be EARLY as poor Nathan skipped breakfast…and despite his willingness to get out there and help… when the opportunity to speak with LE arose…suddenly he had to eat.

I hope he didnt take off before sharing pertinent info, such as if he happened to encounter anyoneelse near those locations or any suspicious cars or people, besides himself…

Sure hope he didnt touch any of those items, the bedsheet, blue shorts ETC- probably not as you pointed out Blink

There are a few other strange “ities” I will discuss in part 2.

I do not know if Nathan is or was involved in any aspect of this case or anything criminal on April 21st, but it is very clear his behavior and actions/movement that day caused detectives and police personnel to act swiftly to check it out. I would like to know the question the officer posed to get the abrupt I have to go home and eat breakfast comment.

My first thought was shy was he using a mag light in the daylight–made me jump right to the conclusion that he had been out all night.
When I listened more, I learned that he said he checked the “tunnels” near the Park Mall (mall is adjacent to Celis neighborhood to the East). I’ve lived here a long time and had no idea there are “tunnels” over there–I have never heard anyone talk of it. So, for me, the idea that this guy knows there are tunnels in the area and had his mag light all ready—well, it was chilling to say the least.

Yes, I know that just because I did not know about the tunnels doesn’t mean people don’t skulk around down there……..I’m just suspect of the fact that NM went right for that area and had his heavy-duty flashlight all ready to go.

Except he was nowhere the tunnels that run under the mall.

I wonder if Nathan has a medical condition (diabetes). Could be a valid reason for him wanting to have breakfast.

  21. Cindy says:

This Nathan McDonald has me bugged. Did resident notice if McDonald had the maglite at 9-9:30 a.m. while sitting on an electric box on near S. Essex?

Also, the shoe prints, are they a match to the shoes McDonald was wearing?

For an officer to note that the person he is questioning “abruptly” says he has to leave for breakfast, in MOO, is an evasion tactic. Why?
I sure wouldn’t want all that attention when a young child’s disappearance is being investigated.

  22. courtnog says:

But what on earth would cause someone to perch on top of an electrical box for 1/2 hour in another neighbors yard? IMO, it’s a little too uncanny that footprints are found at the Celis home on top of an electrical box and then, that same morning, this guy is found nearby doing that very thing. Was he laying low due to the activity in the neighborhood? Apparently the neighbor who’s box was being perched on, thought it was strange and asked NM to leave and proceeded to report it to LE.

I also note that if he did get a call that police stopped at the house to ask if they heard anything, he would also have been told their was heavy LE on the street and he sits on an electric box for half an hour?

Sorry, everyone, I know I keep bringing this up and don’t mean to be a pest…but this kind of blows me away. On page 69 of 88 in packet 4, there’s a tip/witness statement that is a bit of a rant from what appears to be a psychic or very paranoid person. It says a whole lot of stuff about other cases and events, but in the middle of it, he/she says “The name McDonald comes to me.” Does anyone have any thoughts pertaining to this? Idk, just makes me go “Wow” and “Hmmmm…..” at the same time.

  24. A Texas Grandfather says:

I listened to the pod-cast last evening and then read the piece. I next spent two hours going over the entire area with Google Earth.

This entire area is relatively flat. All the properties in the area appear to have alleyways that also serve as utility rights-of-way.

The “man-made” drainage ditch mentioned as a “wash” could have began as a natural drain. However, it is not today. It is too straight and the slopes of the ditch walls are too controled to be natural. Nature does not turn precise forty-five degree angles. The tunnels that are described by Mr. McDonnel are actually box culverts under the roadways.

Blink is correct in her statement that the so called electrical box is within the fenced yard of the residence. I really believe that this box is an air conditioner condenser unit rather than an electrical supply box. A building electrical supply must by code be placed where young children cannot reach it. If it is outside it should be secured with a lock.

  26. wpg says:

The electrical boxes are in the alley ways, outside of the properties.

The footprints found on the ground close to the electrical box were south of the Celis’ back fence (as is the electrical box).

What is not mentioned in the reports is which way the shoe prints from the electrical box in the alley, the ground next to it, and the other utility other box behind the parked hatchback were facing.

In re the sex offender down the street, I recently met the registered sex offender down the street from my house. I met him because his daughter adores my children and apparently likes my cooking and wants to spend a lot of time at my house. And i let her. Before i moved in, I checked the criminal file of the sex offender down the street (aka Adam) and I found that he is registered because he got his girlfriend of 15 pregnant when he was 19. They are married now, both in their twenties, and have two children. I am pretty sure this guy is not interested in my children. However, if something happened on my street, I am certain he would be the prime suspect. I am no fan of sex offenders and this experience has been an education for me. I’ve always been recalcitrant and unforgiving. But there are times when the “sex offender next door” isn’t the guy who automatically commits the crime.

  28. Word Girl says:

This might be wrongly stated, Blink.

“Chris Lutzelberger, a resident of S. Essex St who likely observed the exchange between McDonald and the officer, asked him what all the police presence in the neighborhood was about.

Robinson informed him that a man matching McDonald’s description was sitting on an electrical box located behind his residence earlier that morning from approximately 9AM-9:30Am at which time he told the individual to leave.”

Should it be: “Lutzelberger informed him (Robinson) that a man matching McDonald’s description was sitting on an electrical box…at which time he told the individual to leave.?”

That clarified, Lutzel’s house is one of a few that are heavily landscaped. In front of the house on Google maps, a white pickup truck, with an orange safety cone in the bedm is parked in the semi-circle drive, along with a sedan, maybe a Toyota.

The sides of the yard are fenced, as is the back of the house, except for an opening where there is a rear driveway. Three-four work trucks (black and white) are parked there in this 2011 Google photo.

As ATG said, McDonald would have been inside the fenced area to sit on a box–which may have been A\C, but I think he means cable television, and not electrical box. However, there is a prominent power pole at the southwest corner of the his yard.

I don’t see a cut-through to access Lutzel’s back yard. Coming from Wishire Park, across the street from L’s house, McDonald would have to walk up to 14th, turn right, and right again into the alley behind L’s house.

To go home, McD would have normally turned left to take 14th to Whittier to Van Buren to E. 12th St. as I mentioned in a post before Blink moved them over. (I was peeking behind her curtain.)

His position in that alley is extremely odd and does not match what he said he was doing.

When I read that a bag was found in the wash, 30 minutes later, I looked at the wash on the map and picked the spot to drop it.

If Blink’s drawing is correct, that’s exactly where it would be because there is a pie-shaped easement, giving the bag-dropper some obscurity, between the two houses backing up to that wash. One is 375 Treston and the next door neighbor is actually at 5531 Wilshire.

Did McDonald then cross the street and go behind the houses into the alley and into the property of Lutzelberger? Why didn’t Lutzel tell him to get out of there right away?

More? Oh boy, I dont know what to make of all the strange “ities” in this case. Yes I wonder about that too….

Not to make light of what has happened as my heart breaks for Isa, and I pray she will be home soon but

Perhaps the officer was asking about his eating habits and mentioned what he had for breakfast that morning…pancakes, side of bacon, scrambled eggs….gourmet coffee….

Uh, Gotta Go now- too hungry to type… must eat before Part 2 is up

After reading here, reading and reading and reading :) , I had a thought about this McDonald character. He could have been temporarily hiding things in the wash that he didn’t want found if his house was searched, things that had nothing to do with Isa. Sitting on the utility box could also have been his attempt to divert attention from his house. I don’t know, I might be grasping at straws because I want to believe that she is safely being held somewhere else. At the very least McDonald’s actions and reactions are quite odd.

    Lyla,
thanks for bringing up an ailment like diabetes as a possible answer to why NM would have to leave abruptly.
You could be right but as Connie mentioned , diabetics would be sure to eat, or carry snacks- I mean he could have forgot but he did remember to bring a flashlight…perhaps he never intended to be out and about for that long? IDK

Your point is well taken Lyla– There are a 1000 reasons to add to your innocent reasons list- one being that NM got spooked by LE and wasnt doing anything other than trying to help- but when confronted thought oh no this doesn’t look good…sorry gotta go…

Whatever the case I am confident from reading the docs that this man is or was thoroughly looked at- and at the very least he serves as a cautionary tale to others who might want to venture out alone to investigate.

Hi just wanted to say thanks for sharing your tale and you are so right- in many states just urinating “in public” = outside, would put a person on the sex offenders list if caught in the act… but there are levels 1 2 3 so that may help to differentiate…IDK

Hey wait too bad Casey Anthony wasnt caught during her infamous drunken 21 p-lot pee photoshoot.. sigh

Thanks again Twinkletoes for pointing out – not every RSO is a SEX offender-

hi Kris thanks for bringing that info to our attention- I think it is eerie too- and LE obviously thought enough about the tip to check it out…no stone unturned, which is a good thing/

Ode- the granola bar find…interesting, via the diabetes talk, in the docs it also mentions that glucose levesls were checked of the Celis family IIRC, just wondering if blood can show whether someone is diabetic or not- even when “spilled? (like the possible or apparent blood on the floor in Isa’s room?) IDK

    Praying for Isa and all

Gonna be a while, but I have a subscription through Adobe to convert them to .doc I use.

If according to “plan” I should be able to sort it out, thank you.

To all: I adjusted the part 2 to tomorrow, waiting on editing.

question: does the Sturdavent dog-hearer next door have an electrical box in her yard too?
Or is the only way a peeking Tom could watch her thru her bedroom window atop this box
    in Celis’ adjacent yard?

  41. A Texas Grandfather says:

    In continuation:

There is information that beding was found in the drainage canal South of the area where Mr. McDonnel was sitting in the enclosed yard.

This person is extremely suspicious to me. Why was he inside the fenced yard on property he did not own about 1/2 mile from his home?

It was just luck that the police officer was sent to Freedom Park to notify the coach of Isa’s team that she was not going to be there for the game. He traveled on Craycroft South on 29th st. and then West on 29th to the park. He retraced his route back to Craycroft and then North to 14th street and then East on 14th to the point he observed the auto belonging to Mr. McDonnel. Then he observed McDonnel walking across the undeveloped park towards his vehicle.

This questionable behavior of McDonnel could be because he did not want to be seen. Thus the hiding inside the fenced yard.

I do hope that the police thourghly searched all the culverts along the route of the drainage canal. Sometimes the box sections are not abutted and over time a cavity can be washed out between them. A six year old child’s body could easily be placed in such a cavity. The bed clothing could have been placed farther down the stream to divert the attention of searchers.

Then there is the mention of a natural gas meter next to or near the so called electrical box. These items are not clear from google earth although some bulky objects can be seen next to the house. If the house is served with natural gas, the meter is likely to be an in-line rotary meter rather than the very old style positive displacement rectangular shaped meters used prior to the 1980′s.

I could not find any evidence of a natural gas line in the whole area. There is nothing above grade that indicated a measuring and regulating station for natural gas. I am thinking that what was nearby was an outdoor kitchen unit with an enclosed area for bottled LPG (butane or propane).

Wow, bravo, Ms. Blink, the McDonald “ities” really have my head spinning. Do hope LE keeps him scoped out. Wonder if Ms. Gregory is feeling anything hinky, hmmm? Can’t wait for part 2, squee! I hope your server doesn’t keep track of any one person’s hits on BOC–I’m way over stalker status, ma’m! I wanted to catch part 2 so quickly I almost cancelled a desperately needed hair cut this afternoon, I can’t even see the BOC screen, my bangs are so long, like a sheepdog! Poor little Isa, what a stinky mess. Thank you for keeping at it, Ms. B.

Here are some reasons a person might sit on an electric box on someone’s private property for 30 minutes:

    1) Waiting for someone (or something) because standing is no longer comfortable and there’s no other place to sit.

    2) Observing something from the box which is a vantage point.

    3) Hiding from something or someone.

    4) Or just resting for no reason at all.

If McDonald is indeed the guy that Lutzelberger noticed sitting on his box, and if he sat on the box to rest or to wait for someone, why would he not rest or wait in his car which was parked just around the corner on 14th St.?

He had some business there. If it was indeed him on the box.

  44. wpg says:

    A Texas Grandfather,

The fellow was sitting on an electrical box in the alley of a residence on Essex . . . not inside the fenced resident’s property.

Not sure if he was sitting there for 1/2 hour or the resident gave a ballpark of when he spotted the man.

    The report said “around” 9:00-9:30.

  45. A Texas Grandfather says:

    Word Girl

There is the possibility that cable TV is in the area. Sometimes the cables are buried in a shallow trench along the back fence lines and then to a demark box on the building exterior wall about the size of your land line telephone demark. In some cases such as apartment buildings or a cluster of houses, they will use a verticle box about thirty to thirty-six inches high as a distribution box. Good photos could clear this up.

The front of this property is very heavily landscaped with large trees and plants.

If McDonnel were actually searching, he should have asked another person to go with him. In fact, three would be even better. This is another reason to make me suspicous of his activities.

The power and land line telephone cables are carried on overhead poles throughout the area. I did not see any transformers that were pole mounted. I will look again to determine if transformers are mounted on a slab in the alleyway with a cover box. Sometimes that is how they do it to make it easier to replace a damaged unit.

We are about to get some heavy weather like Blink had last night-tornado watch too.

Could it be perched atop an electic box he was out of range from dog bites? Just a thought. MOO.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if McDonald was one of the complainants of the dogs? Hmm…hoping the dogs would be removed as opposed to just charging the owener?

  48. Penladu says:

I may be wrong about this, and if I am please feel free to correct me. I believe it was reported that NM’s father also lived at the same residense, if so, where is he and why haven’t we heard anything about him?

He does not, and I never reported that.

  49. wpg says:

from the Officer’s report on Mr. Lutzelberger:

“… he told me about a suspicious male he had seen in the alley near his house earlier in the morning around 0900-0930. Mr. Lutzelberger said he was in the alleyway behind his residence and saw a white male about 35 years old with short black hair, about 5’10″/215 lbs wearing a white shirt with black letters that said “Car World”. Mr. Lutzelberger said that the male was just sitting on an electrical box in the alley. Mr. Lutzelberger advised that he contacted the male and told him to leave the area.”

    (above snippet from packet3)

I’m not disputing the “suspicious man” could possibly be NMc, but it’s important that the location of the electrical boxes, especially at Isabel’s house be clarified.

    ——————————————————————–
they checked the blood sugars of the Celis family? What in the world for? And as a diabetic since age 3, I am guessing they MIGHT be able to get a blood sugar reading on spilled blood. It would have to be non-diluted, like no other fluids mixed in to dilute it. So if it was found to be a high blood sugar, that might indicate a person is diabetic. All JMO

    waa?

No, no record anyone’s glucose was tested, or that anyone is diabetic.
