American Free Press + Web Exclusive Interview Victim Claims Sandusky Sex Scandal Connected to Philadelphia Pedophile Network
    by Victor Thorn

It is an interview with Bucceroni where he talks about kids being traded like baseball cards, and Sandusky’s promise to get him in to football games. He claims wealthy doctors, lawyers, politicians and businessmen participated, and TSM was a way for troubled kids to stay out of juvenille hall or jail. He claims Sandusky was one of a handful of people involved.

CBSSports.com reported the most unprecedented part of the sanctions, and the most eye-popping, will be that Penn State also will be fined $30 million to $60 million, with the money to go toward an endowment for children’s causes.

@beejay, is Taliferro the new young Board member interviewed on camera entering a Board mtg a couple weeks ago who hoped statute stayed?
I thought BOT & PS had a couple lawyers, Lanny & someone, to manage Sandusky matters.
PSUTruth says Baldwin as GC hired her own firm to represent PS in various matters, including Sandusky?
I suppose the right investigatory body on conflicts matters is the State Bar. Only way to get an attorney’s attention, unless a Judge does it. We’re back to BOT’s duty of care & oversight issues. A minority Board member having standing works for that suit in some States. Some Court needs to replace the Board. It will be progress if the State Office handling corporations starts to investigate I guess.

Will somebody please provide Greg Bucceroni with impenetrable security for his own safety?

Putting up the lead-in to an earlier link. At it, GB lists cities/states in the tri-state area where abuses occurred. I did a lot of bleary-eyed work overnite. So far, everything adds up. A few details are in conflict. Will note some at the end of this post.

“Pedophile Ed Savitz committed suicide in prison while awaiting trial. 1981 Ed Savitz’s brother former Pennsylvania Deputy Attorney General Joseph Savitz committed suicide after my 1980 pedophile allegations to police officials & in 2011 brother Samuel Savitz continues to operate the Savitz Organization nationally based out of Philadelphia and continues to be friends with former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and wife Federal Judge Marjorie Rendell….”

    ___________

I believe it’s the case that Ed Savitz was in jail awaiting trial, and refusing to take his medication for HIV/AIDS. A judge intervened when it appeared he was near death, transferring him to a hospice where he died within a week.

Ed’s brother Joseph H. Savitz was indeed a Deputy Attorney General in PA. I’ve found cases from the 1960s. His death certificate is said to indicate he committed suicide by barbiturate overdose, in 1981. GB says he filed his sex abuse claims in 1980. GB believes Joseph Savitz’ “suicide” was related to GB’s filing (records of which seem to be missing it looks like, and Lynne Abraham can’t remember if GB’s case was included in her prosecution case of Ed Savitz)

Will someone please provide Bucceroni with a security detail today? He lives and works in an extremely dangerous area. Near Temple University, where Bill Cosby has made another public appearance in past few years, in an effort to clean up crime. I think Bucceroni is the real deal; IDK if he correctly remembers the TSM stuff.

My primary interest in the Sandusky/PSU situation is see if inquiring minds can turn up any other still-active pedophiles out there. This is a disclosure of some kind by “Bad Beejay” (TY, WordGirl for that belly laugh when you posted it!)

Here’s why my earlier question (awaiting moderation now) about Bank of America Foundation people/The Second Mile (and implied: Penn State):

Ed Savitz’ still-living brother Samuel J. Savitz has ties thru his work to Fleet Private Clients Group (“FPCG”). Which is now part of Bank of America. FPCG was thanked as the primary sponsor of an event which honored Samuel in 2003. That honor came from FPRI, a foreign policy think tank (which always gets my adrenaline going when i see these kinds of financial institution links to them). IDK why FPRI would be moved to honor Samuel Savitz.

    “November 14, 2003
    FPRI’s Annual Dinner

On November 13, over 400 movers and shakers in Philadelphia attended FPRI’s Annual Dinner, which this year honored Samuel J. Savitz and featured a keynote address by Kenneth M. Pollack on “America and the Middle East After Saddam.”

Mr. Savitz is founder and chairman of The Savitz Organization and serves on the boards of such institutions as….

FPRI Thanks Fleet Private Clients Group …”

You would know best why Koppers. Who else was on their Board & wanted an ally?
Or was it a legit conduit for a financial reward? My point was her legal practice areas
did not prepare her for a complex business’ Boardroom imo. She primarily
had a career as a front line govt employee and was not in the corporate law arena.

So it must have been political. with the Supt Ct job she now had the status.
The good question is why, with all the Democratic common pleas judges in PA,
Rendell chose this one? I think that eminent domain/Phil diocese case was one
he wanted her vote on, could’vebeen others.

What was the date that PS’ former outside attorney resigned as TSM attorney?
    What firm took his place?
    Duane?

TY for catch that GB talked to her in Dec after she took the TSM job.

A Careful Contolled Investigation By Freeh & PSU BOTs?

Penn State investigator is ex-exec at firm with PSU ties

Louis Freeh, the man hired by Penn State University to run “an independent investigative review into all aspects of the University’s actions with regard to the allegations of child abuse” by Jerry Sandusky, spent five years and collected millions of dollars as a senior executive of a big financial company that enjoyed a long-running business relationship with Penn State, its alumni association and Sandusky’s boss, former football coach Joe Paterno.

Freeh, who headed the FBI for eight years until 2001, spent the next five years as vice chairman at MBNA Corp., where his titles included general counsel. Penn State’s announcement notes his earlier FBI service, and his previous, short stint as a federal judge, but does not mention his years spent working for MBNA, which paid the school millions of dollars for access to students and alumni. Freeh journeyed to Penn State in 2005 as featured speaker at a Penn State assembly where his colleague Ric Struthers, who managed the lucrative relationship between bank and school was…

@Rose: I think so (Bucceroni silent about TSM/Savitz till after Sandusky arrested). He had, IIRC, mentally walled it off for many years. It’s published when he had a breakthru recall, but don’t have that at my fingertips. He’s such an anti-crime activist in his old, dangerous neighborhood. I do think he’s genuine. If his recall is precise, that IDK. Mainstream media won’t touch the story, despite his efforts to get it attention. I can’t drop it personally.

If true, there’s no telling what’s going on right now putting kids at risk of assault. Where would the other TSM-donor-pedophiles be operating? I have to pursue that; it’s totally unacceptable to let it be.

According to a front page article in the DP, Savitz was elected to the MSG, one of the University’s student assemblies, in December 1961. Savitz was a member of the Red and Blue party, one of several student political parties. In December 1962, Savitz, a senior, did not run for the MSG. But Philadelphia Mayor Edward Rendell, also a Red and Blue party member, was elected to the MSG, according to the DP. According to the Mayor’s Press Secretary Kevin Feeley, Rendell does not “know [Savitz] or recollect him.”

    1993

In 1961, Charles Horner led a group of students on a crusade to abolish student government on the grounds that it was “a powerless waste of money nobody cares about.” Thirty-two years later, the debate rages on. “Student government at the time was a creature of the University and was indirectly controlled by the dean of men, a jerk named Robert Longley,” said Horner, now a middle-aged political consultant in Washington, D.C. Men’s Student Government, as it was known, consisted of two political parties representing different fraternities
    – the Union party, which counted future accused sex offender Eddie Savitz among its members,

and the Red and Blue party, which was led by a young New Yorker with political aspirations named Ed Rendell.

Most issues, Horner said last week, revolved around maintaining the status quo and safeguarding the interests of fraternities. As the ’60s hit campus and activism began to rise, students became increasingly dissatisfied.

I am inclined to believe this portion of Spanier’s letter to the BOT, and IMO she was placed “there” to sell our Paterno, Curley, Schultz and Spanier. In reporting to the Trustees, I was guided by and followed all instructions from the University’s General Counsel. She told me very little about how she was handling the Grand Jury investigation. She never told me anything about the content of the interviews with athletic department staff or the Curley and Schultz Grand Jury testimony or the interview of Curley and Schultz by the Attorney General when she was present. She did tell me on at least three occasions, however, that this was the third or fourth Grand Jury on this matter, that there appeared to be no issue for the University, and that the Attorney General did not seem to have any evidence to suggest that something happened involving Penn State. She had, she said, spoken several times to Attorney General staff. I was never told by her of any materials being subpoenaed from the University, or even that I had been subpoenaed to testify. She told me I was going voluntarily, as I had previously agreed to do, and she accompanied me before the judge and in the Grand Jury room and sat through my testimony. I had no preparation or understanding of the context. As I was being sworn in for my Grand Jury appearance, much to my surprise she handed over to the judge a thumb drive containing my entire history of emails back to 2004.

  35. Rose says:

@beejay. I just did a timeline of Baldwin & it smacked me in the head, finally duh, her most important variable on its face was her 16 years on common pleas in Pittsburgh beginning in 1989. Didn’t get elected on first try in 87; Casey declined to appoint her in 88. But she made it in 89. Who were her campaign donors?
Anyway, where did she place juveniles on probation and kids in foster care during her stints in juvenile Court in Pittsburgh? Was she a TSM supporter? TSM said they didn’t take kids into foster care in those years.
I looked at Koppers’ (hdqtred in Pittsburgh) layers of takeover history and its leaders in late 80s and 90s, but didn’t see ties to TSM or PS; there may be candidates for Bucceroni’s parties in the west end?
    I find him credible myself.
I thought we went into MBNA back when as a reason Freeh shouldn’t have been hired by PS.
Personally, I think it’s good Spanier recount his history in a writing and that all move on to do it under oath.
There’s a lot we don’t know, & imo it will go back to some Board members and other key players.
I am unsurprised Baldwin did not pass on the physical subpoena to Spanier, nor tell him he was testifying in response to one, nor prepare him, nor tell him his email records had been subpoenaed– if that’s all that was on the thumb drive. She needs a Bar investigation pronto. No doubt she played it the same with Curley/Schultz. So who on the Board decided to play a game of “get the staff” when they installed her inside, rather than a real Corp lawyer, in Jan 2010?

  36. Rose says:

PS I was interested Baldwin first got on PS Board in 95 & her tenure overlapped juvenile Court role by a decade.
Also, Arthur Baldwin founded his investment mgmt business in 2002. His professional field of expertise seems
on point with Koppers’ activities. I do wonder if the Univ ever put money with UBS’ Philadelphia Institutional investment office (UBS spun off Saratoga, maj owner of Koppers), or with Koppers, or with BoA?
the other Koppers Board add ons, Hillenrand, Cizik seem pretty stellar.

And where did she put Spaniers?
    Didn’t they have interoffice mail?

To all PA residents: Try to recall any other men you’ve known who regularly brought young boys with them to events.

“Those who knew him in his profesional role did not seem to find anything odd about the fact that Savitz often showed up with one or two teen-age boys in tow. They accepted his explanation that the boys were troubled youths whom he was helping.”

From 5 pg article in 1992 about Ed Savitz. (BTW, Rendell was Mayor of Phillie in 1992; Lynne Abraham was DA who was prosecuting Savitz in 1992.)

This morning I am dipping a toe into the waters of the human psyche–something we often do here at blinkoncrime, but that brief immersion doesn’t make me a gold medal swimmer.

Lovefraud dot com has a short article about a sociopath’s traits, yet comes to no conclusion about James Holmes and exonerates Joe Paterno, claiming his defects amounted to bad behavior.

I’ll let readers form their own opinions. I personally think that leaving Jerry Sadusky to wander freely among the vulnerable and give him places to hide his crimes is just as sociopathic as booby-bomb-trapping a room where law enforcement officials are sure to enter.

Other sponsors said they plan to stick with Penn State, including Pittsburgh-based PNC bank and the state’s largest health insurer, Highmark Inc.

“Highmark’s partnership with Penn State is about health and wellness. We do have a sponsorship with the athletics program. While we routinely evaluate all of our sponsorships, we plan to continue at this time,” spokesman Aaron Billger said.

PNC Financial Services Group issued a statement after the July 12 release of the Freeh report that its “ongoing engagement with the university signals our support of the students and traditions of Penn State. … We believe that the university will learn from this experience and become stronger.”

Bank spokesman Fred Solomon said the NCAA sanctions have not changed PNC’s position.

@Word Girl. In that compare/contrast, I think one the product of a descent into (probably chronic) young adult schizophrenia in late adolescence that went unattended and untreated in part due to socioeconomic status, and the other greed. People are overestimating the job incentive of racking up wins and underestimating getting used to million plus salaries yearly. Lucrative Contracts are strong positive reinforcers to continue in same. Imo there got to be a game in itself in negotiating with the U for best personal outcome.
