Nittany Nightmare Continues Past Sandusky: Former President Spanier Charged- NEW Charges for Curley and Schultz Filed

Happy Valley- PA On the heels of convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky’s transfer to his new home,  what most predicted would follow- has.

Former Penn State President Graham Spanier,  fired by the Penn State Board of Trust the same day as legendary late-Nittany Lions Coach Joe Paterno, is facing serious charges today filed by Sandusky’s prosecutors.

Spanier is facing counts of obstruction of justice,  perjury, conspiracy, endangering the welfare of children and failure to report allegations of child abuse.

Tim Curley and Gary Schultz,  who were facing perjury and charges based on “non-reporting”,  are now facing all five similar charges as Spanier-  additional filings occurred simultaneously.

Linda L. Kelly stated the men “used their positions to conceal and cover up for years the activities of a known child predator,” on Thursday following the announcement.

SPM ” has employed new technology and databases” meaning email retrieval?
Sloane says he’s confident RG is alive.
During Sloane’s interview, Masorti feels the need to bound in and persuasively argue it was suicide.
Sloane knew RG’s brother’s history imo.
SPM first went after Sloane for drug trafficking and got him convicted and disbarred. Maybe that was a first step

    Arnold verified Sloane smoked.

Posters questioned whether Sloane’s dna was run against butts.
If Sloane were “a focus” of SPM, or even the previously successful plea and disbarment,
that would explain K Arnold (paula r?) attending BOC’s public comment @ BOC mtgs to
    rail against SPM. Mother Hen.

kind of laughable defense(GJ immunity) as Cantorna, Exarchos & Glantz waved Shutt’s affidavit all over Centre Cty TV well before GJ testimony. In fact the covening of the GH was prompted by the cabal’s accusations. On the other hand, Castor shoukd’vehad an appendix of specific statements culled from the CC BOC mtgs transcripts and press quotes. Then it becomes a jury question.

Did you see Freeh does not want PSU as a codefendant in Spanier’s suit saying they have sibject to different causes of action (defamation vs contract breach) and a jury might get confused by the different causes of action?
    gimme a break.

@Rose I’m not entirely sure that Paula is Arnold. I don’t she is (because Paula accused me of having an affair with SPM, though we live 150 miles apart. :)

Neither SPM nor the DA’s Office prosecuted Sloane. OAG did. I would not that it is the same office that prosecuted Sandusky.

Sloane has severe medical problems in 2005, and the idea of him moving a body around in his condition is farfetched.

When LE opened the car, they smelled cigarette smoke, which is quite different than marijuana smoke.

I stopped viewing midway thru their Qs as imo Dem Oliver presented
poorly compared to direct, plainspoken Repb McLaughlin (or whatever

  19. Rose says:

I finally managed to wade my way thru the mud happyvalleycitizen sling (url above) as publicized by CIOC.
    Typical paragraphs:
    “The AG office conducted grand jury proceedings (in secret and headed by disbarred, criminally charged and known political ally and personal friend of SPM) AG Kathleen Kane was conducted;
A criminal investigation by Bellefonte police was instigated and the DA office was raided and further illegal activities of the DA were uncovered;”
    1) Kane not disbarred. no evidence of friendship has been found.
    2)what illegal activities?
Lunsford’s admonishing Bernie on transcript that he could not do simple basic defense work ie authenticating & profers, and SPM had to repeatedly tutor him at sidebar on how to get his own evidence in, is really something.

Given the fact HVC clearly has loose screws, why is CIOC publicizing?

  20. Rose says:

@JJ wrt “SPM has a point on the public release at the commissioner’s meeting”
It is a jury question as to whether coordinated planning transpired amongst defendant
co-conspirators prior to the first commissioners meeting with Glantz (unusually present and rendering
“on the spot” legal advice) when Cantora “presented.” She just needs to parrot it is a jury Q.

I’m ready to vote guilty on every one of the new counts just based on viewing
the several relevant BOC meetings videos. I’m glad she realized emailing confidential
documents to herself on the way out the door shoukd be added. The question is what
other confidential docs did Shutt email herself during the course of her employment?
imo the undercover op email was unlikely to be her first and only. Needs a forensic computer
investigator. And, her alleged motive for resigning was the need for more money thru private
sector. Her bank accounts dating to first month of employment by DA need a subpoena too.

that’s one way to secure a majority BOC vote to continue an wmployment contract year to year and
to get one’s legal malpractice bills indemnified by the County.

  23. Rose says:

    uproarously funny.
2 Republicans waiting til just after the election to borrow money
to make it qtr to qtr due to their votes for over

several lawyers to get them, their contract solicitor who failed to buy

I’m sure SPM will lend her office’ drug confiscation $ to the Court budget.
Maybe she can find more product on Exarchis’ son.

  25. Rose says:

    maybe Exarchos’ majority-appointed shale
    fracking committee he
    stocked wit the industry self-interested
can get its budget, expenditures and potential
bribes for votes wrt contracts investigated by the GJ.

  26. Rose says:

here’s a hypothetical. Maybe if an employee went on a lengthy leave due to a sudden unexpected accident, Gricar began to handle & go thru all the employee’s cases, & eventually recognized the imprint of an employee handling or disposing of cases consistant with bribes or extortion due to drug dependence? Gricar spoke with him, or met with a CI who turned on him. SPM went thru those cases and found the same. Cig ashes in Gricar’s car match the brand said former employee was known to smoke. And so on.

  29. Rose says:

  30. Rose says:

I was wondering where Sloane and his CAPS had disappeared to. It seems he and Shutt are active
commenting on a page set up by Exarchos’ Youtube buddy, PFUR, specifically to defame SPM. Castor
has given him fair warning to desist; expect another suit. The purpose of the suit will be to
uncover his anonymous funding source to range far afield from his PA region and his nonprofit’s
stated irs mission, education reform. At one time Simon had written iirc he was dead broke and had to
therefore terminate a legal appeal. Then he found Stacey.

  31. Rose says:

    being disseminated by PFUR.

  32. J. J. in Phila (the real one) says:

Castor sent a letter to CIOC and PFUR. Prelude to a suit?

  33. Rose says:

@JJinPhila. He also sent a warning letter to Commissioners in Jan stating SPM would be cleared, and they lacked authority to appoint a special prosecutor. a suit followed. He will file a suit shortly against PFUR, Simon personally, and associates after documentation of ignioring the warning. Simon engages in shoutouts on protected speech criticizing govt officials, but his are highly personal attacks on her unrelated to her performance in the DA’s office per se. In fact, imo she is uncriticizeable wrt her tough on crime policies and her office mgmt. Lunsford ought to sue as well. After he leaves office, there will be no faux shield. What Castor’s letter alludes to is Simon crossed the State to stalk Stacey et al after he’d posted on line he was dead broke when County govt, RTK law, and the judiciary are not within the irs mission statement of his nonprofit. Education is. Unions entered the picture wrt education. So, Castor imo knows something about his new funding source. If a betting woman, I’d say monies to conduct this corrupt DA and judges publicity campaign are channeled to him thru one of those Harrisburg defense lawyers for the Commissioners and/or Glantz, and maybe the intermediary attorney is even passing thru that funding under firm expenses billed to the County. The discovery of Simon & his financial records and of his associates in Centre Cty in that suit will be fun.

  34. Rose says:

    btw paula revere is prolific
on PFUR’s Corrupt DA’s FB site.

  35. Rose says:

what interests me is how Exarchos is now hand in glove with Simon.
Simon’s general PFUR FB page uses the Exarchos interview to link & advertise
his second (“Corrupt DA”) FB page set up imo for the BOC election.
Seeing that linkage, Exarchos has not asked Simon to remove
his interview from PFUR FB advertising the corrupt da fb site, nor from the
corrupt da FB site itself. Exarchos must truly be been on vengance for
her outing his son as a drug user and collaboration with a murderer.

Soneone funded Simon’s travel across the State to
video his own interview of Exarchos and use that interview
to advertise his “corrupt DA” campaign just prior to
Election Day to influence the BOC election. Castor will get at who.
There might even be an OAG investigation of the
funding source, as throwing an election is involved.
    —-
Paula Revere says Exarchos is a shooin as a dear humble man.

  36. Rose says:

I don’t get why SPM & Castor are arguing the “redacted” phone billing records’
public availability on merely the content and process of PA’s RTK law.
It seems to me the more powerful argument is the essential law enforcement role cell phones play
in current useage as the cell replaces computer communications, being far more mobile & efficient.
LE cells are used increasingly for email and text message, for telephone contact, for rudimentary first impression crime scene photos, and so on. Essential business–warrants, scheduling, orders, convos with CIs, collegial in-office consultations or assignments to junior staff and paras. There is much info criminals, cartels, corrupt parties, defense attorneys, and so on could infer from frequency, length, and intensity of DA employee/judicial cell billing records by date. It is insane pragmatically to think DA – judicial billing records should ever be released. If a defense attorney suspects malpractice or nefarious behavior by DA or judicial employees, investigatory organs exist. bar & judicual counsel. oag. fbi. To think BOCs surpass those resources is laughable.

  37. Rose says:

It seems to me Castor’s first stop, and an immediate one, the irs for an investigation of pfur as a tax-exempt nonprofit because Simon appears to be using donations for political speech designed to influence the outcome of local elections in two counties. his political organizing and campain endorsements are unrelated to his org’s irs filed mission statement.
    https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=851950571570512&id=839646042800965&refid=17&_ft_=top_level_post_id.851950571570512%3Atl_objid.851950571570512&__tn__=%2As

@erose. It’s a good thing, because exparte communications between Feudale and Fina during the Sandusky GJ era & trial, as well as reporter leaks, might even yet get Sandusky a new trial. Spinelli’s trial would be untainted. idk
