Kyron Horman Missing: Civil Suit Against Terri Horman DELAYED AND SEALED- Prompted By NEW LEADS
Portland, OR- As many of you have been following since June 2010, there is a new development today in the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
As predicted at BOC, the civil suit brought by Deisree Young, Kyron’s Mother, against Terri Horman, Kyron’s step-mother and the defacto suspect in his disappearance has been granted an abatement.
In a sealed filing, motions by Assistant District Attorney Michael Schrunk and Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton were granted, delaying the suit . The motions included supporting affidavits that continuing the action as already ruled would compromise the investigation.
The decision presents an ironic twist .
Terri Horman’s lawyers originally fought vehemently to abate the action, but were unsuccessful. As recently as last week, the Judge in the case ordered medical records to be accessible to both parties to the action.
In Judge Kantnor’s decision to NOT abate the suit at the request of Attorney Peter Bunch for Terri Horman, the Multnomah County Prosecutors Office declared “no position” on the matter after being contacted by the court.
It is not known if that order prompted the request to delay the suit .
Sheriff Stanton, Eldin Rosenthal, Norm Frink and Stephen Houze declined comment at press time.
On Monday, Judge Henry Kantor granted the motions to abate the civil proceeding and ordered the motions and affidavits filed by the district attorney and sheriff sealed.
A hearing had been scheduled for Dec. 14 to hear Young’s attorney argue before the court to compel testimony from DeDe Spicher, an alleged witness in the case. Today’s ruling is likely to render a postponement of that proceeding.
Sheriff Dan Staton, told Oregon Live, it is based on early leads that are now panning out:
“There are a couple of investigative pieces that are going to open up,” Staton told The Oregonian Tuesday. “Our belief is they’re going to open up several investigative doors.”
He said the new “investigative avenues” are based on information collected in the early phase of the investigation that are now yielding some results.

Anyway.
A couple of years ago I was yanked out of my living room by neighbors who wanted me to check on another neighbor. The mother I checked on was unresponsive on her bed, naked, eyes rolled back, with 3 young children in the home. Ambulance called. Mother furious with me for calling ambulance. Mother in rehab for 2nd or 3rd time. Mother still had supervised visitation with all 3 kids, aged infant to 9, through that rehab, and then, another one about a year later.
Let me ask this. I see this mother — I cannot call her a friend anymore , but I can say that she understands why I leap when she’s in trouble because I adore her children — connecting with her children via DSS and social workers and counselors, etc., throughout what has been a tremendously frustrating five years of drug de-tox. ‘Script pain meds, heroin, etc. Why does she see her children 2 hours per week through ALL of this — court appearance after court appearance — with VERY structured visitation rules, but TH cannot see her daughter???
TH:
1. She has not been charged with a crime;
2. She has not been arrested;
3. Media and LE have not released a single item of evidence for the public to digest concerning what TH was “guilty” of doing other than the phrasing of KH and his attorney
4. “Renewals” of the RO are based on….um….er…..
Please tell me that my state — New York — is either way ahead of the curve, or, Oregon is a place where one person can point their finger at another person and hurl horrible accusations and that’s that? End of story? Child taken from you? Pffffth? Too bad toots?
What.am.I.missing?
IOW, now and earlier, what would have happened if Desiree had given Terri the benefit of the doubt instead of siding with Kaine. Too late to backtrack now, but at least DY had the sense to distance herself from Kaine 3-4 months later.
I just don’t see KH as street-smart enough to plan by himself the whole “take-Kyron-out-of-the-picture-for-a-while” thing; or if he had help (like DAD or maybe even Logan Storm, or one of his swinger pals, or a brother), and maybe something went terribly wrong.
But maybe THIS,since ordinarily DAD (who shot and almost killed a police officer) would have been tracked to the ends of the earth almost immediately — maybe KH and TMH were involved in “Really Bad STuff” (moving drugs, steroids, other stuff, between So.Oregon and Washington – the I-5 corridor thing, or something else). And maybe LE is working with FBI in a really elaborate sting thing, so told TMH to keep her mouth shut (sent her to Roseburg with or without Kyron, secretly) while they put their plan in motion, move Kyron out of the picture for his protection (maybe he was threateed), and maybe they are going after some Really Big Fish.
Of course, I don’t see how she would think Kiara would be safe if Kyron wasn’t. Or how she could even leave her for this long — especially if there is the slightest hint that KH was involved in something Really Bad.
I totally agree that TMH was probably the ONLY parent/step truly involved in Kyron’s upbringing – and the other two are probably kicking themselves silly for not being involved or paying more attention.
Well, round and round it goes and nobody knows. Somebody needs to jiggle something loose, and let’s all hope and pray that little Kyron can come home (but to what?). I don’t believe for a minute that TMH was a raving drunk, or a slut or a MFH person – I think those were all part of KH’s elaborate plan to get rid of her, continue whatever he wanted to do in the future, and keep the children for himself. MOOOOOO (my opinion only, squared
) LOL but I think he is your basic creep. Or maybe he’s (more likely) just clueless.
I’m still picturing that weird news film when they both headed for the gym within hours after Kyron was lost. (Act normal — yah, sure…)
–and maybe it’s still something really simple. The basic idea: TMH was mad, KH wanted out, she decided to get even. The lawyers should know, but I can’t imagine them keeping quiet if Kyron is OK.
(and wouldn’t it be something — if TMH ends up being The Good Parent, has the little guy stashed with her in Roseburg, is home-schooling, keeping him away from KH – who might just be A Bad Guy). See? Round and Round. Nobody knows nuthin!

@vw. I don’t think Kaine defended Terri where it mattered. It’s my bet now, with 2.5 years of subsequent behaviors of both, that KH fingered Terri as a suspect almost immediately & collaborated with LE to get Terri out of the house on the gym trip. I do not think Desiree and Tony were the only suspicious ones on 6/4ff. If all 3 fingered her to LE, what’s a Detective to do but tell her she failed the poly & try for more?
after the hearing on Feb 4, two sets of people interviewed Kaine. one from kpty (I’m assuming based on a published article) and the Oregonian reporter with a video cameraman. Neither of these made any attempt to talk with Rees from DA’s office. Seems odd. Why not?
If spectators are allowed at the divorce hearing (should it go forward) I will certainly attend. I am appalled that Terri’s rights have been completely ignored in family law court. Also Kiara’s. Why has she not been evaluated? Kaine tells reporters repeatedly that he talks about kyron, buys him age appropriate toys and clothes. His birthday is celebrated and Kaine has developed an “awareness” industry for Kyron that requires attendance at many events to accept money and give out flyers. What is it like for a 3 year old to live with a constantly present invisible brother? but no mommy? what has kaine told her about her mommy? The money he receives at these events and through the website is not used to search for myron, merely used for more “awareness”.
Wouldn’t Terri’s computer be Kaine’s computer also? I mean, unless they exclusively used separate laptops (aside from his work computer), if they searched Terri’s computer, isn’t there a good chance that they were searching ‘Terri & Kaine’s’ computer? If memory serves, they were still living in the same house when computers were searched, right? Just a thought.

Regarding TMH. I think that time, and ethical behavior, just might be the key.
Remember Houze, in that memo to Kate Snow, saying that it is “unethical” for a lawyer or a participant in a civil case to speak publicly in order to influence the outcome of a case?
If TMH is not involved in what LE hopes she is, than a great injustice has happened: ala the Benets or the Dubois father or the father of the girl that was found after many years and two children.
The public opinion of TMH as wicked stepmother will die out. The public all knew she loved her daughter and that LE pulled out all the red herrings they had, years ago.
Bunch stated that he never saw anything in those “secret, sealed” motions that indicated LE has a suspect in tow. And LE has already spent 50% of it’s CIVIL SUIT abatement with no “investigative doors” ajar yet.
Even if Kantor says No to Bunch now there is only 3 more months before Tony and Desiree are up, again, for being deposed. It was their turn, the day before the DA and Staton jumped in. Then what? And what would that say to the public about “hanging” TMH in the public square when DY and TY are afraid of having to talk?
I think the pendulum is swinging. You can only cry wolf for so long. And Kantor knows that they, Kaine and Engel (where is Rackner?) will NEVER win if this case goes to an appeal.
It sure sounded like Bunch is coming down hard on LE inserting itself in a divorce. Kantor will have to think hard about making this case all about “saving Kiara and Kaine from a deranged mother” like JM did.

Not sure I agree on your 12:38. I just can’t get past all the revisioning of history of the bios and don’t trust a one with their “memories” of what was happening at the time. Do you remember everything about your wedding day with clarity? Or another very important day? Multiply that X100 if you’ve ever had a horrifying event like losing your child. We rewrite history depending on our current and past emotions, I think. And our intents and our views of our public selves.
putting on my reasoning cap, MCSO’s & DA’s tunnel vision makes much more sense if on his first interview Kaine said something along the lines of: She never liked Kyron. She was always finding fault with him. She wanted him to move out. She moved her own son across the State. She had postpartum depression. She drinks. She’s mercurial. Of course she’s capable of it. Tou shoukd see what I put up with. Looking back at Kaine’s affect with Terri at first press conference, I see estrangement imo. I do not think he turned on a dime the day of the mfh entrapment play to file for divorce. That Sat’s events & retention of his divorce attorney had been under planning for awhile imo. My bet is he knew of the sex play (at lease on cell) with Rudi probably from the preceding Dec, 911 phone call suggesting conflict, and wanted out. It is likely his first interview (& Desiree/Tony’s) ensured officers could confidently tell Fair attendee interviewees that she was the suspect. That didn’t come out of thin air, and the husband was the most likely source, not the out of towners.

Question, who was interviewed by the media that said they saw Kyron after 8:45? I don’t recall anyone specifically being interviewed by media that indicated that they saw Kyron after 8:45. IIRC Kim Holm is the only one who mentioned a time, and I believe she said 9ish, when referring to what her son had told her, but that of course, would have been hearsay, and it’s very unspecific.
Does anyone recall any one else interviewed who mentioned a time? The first few interviews never included any family did it? Just curious.
Or LE says to KH, you know roughly XY% of abductions are done by a person known to the victim, and YZ% is a family member. Do you think Kyron’s bio-mother could have done this? (a statistically more likely scenario). Can you think of any one in the family that would do this? Are there problems in your home? How is Kyron’s relationship with his stepmother? Then LE turns to DY and TY, and DY says she got a gut feeling when she spoke to TH on the cell phone. (no one got a gut feeling about the overall relationships that DY called TH, instead of KH). When KH implicates TH out of the gate, do you think that means KH is deflecting, or just using the situation to his advantage?

Rackner said not one word at the hearing. she may have spoken to Kaine privately but took no part in presentation. She looks thin and frail to me. Not the outspoken defender of Kaine she used to be.
I have gone to the Mult Cty Court File Room and read earlier filings. In one of the renewals for the RO, Bunch asked that Kaine be required to provide evidence for MFH because no evidence was ever provided. Kaine insists that LE told him they had probable cause against Terri for MFH. The judge said that LE telling Kaine was evidence enough to justify RO. I took a picture of that with my phone. Seemed outrageous to me. LE of course has never officially commented on this MFH evidence and no arrests or charges were ever made. Seems to me if they had probable cause they would take advantage of it to arrest Terri.
Their way out of that was because Sanchez was granted limited use immunity of his testimony before the gj- that will serve that purpose especially when the state will not provide contact info for said witness to be served in the divorce matter.
It is possible that the judge has the one attorney from the firm speaks from start to finish in the hearing, that is pretty standard.

@Rose. I’ll have to chew on that a bit Agree with the first presser. And his agreement with LE to go to the gym could have been testing the waters to see which one of them would get the public blame.
To me it come to that later, june 25th interview with DY and KH. When they stated unilaterally that TMH had been working hard for Kyron with investigators…and was being subjected to grueling interrogations. I sure didn’t see that interview as a wag the dog. If what you are saying is correct than that interview was staged.

@Nel Mel: You couldn’t be more right and it’s time for Terri and her attorney’s to come out swinging. If she has been unjustifiably attacked and these potentially egregious acts were supported by Oregon state LE and the judicial system then “let the lions loose” is all I can say.
If Kaine and Desiree have reached a dead end they need to just own it. If there’s not enough evidence to prove Terri is a threat to Kiara or had anything to do with Kyron’s disappearance then let it rest, painful as that may be.

(Of course, on pictures of KH, I also didn’t see him wearing a watch). So why is she so definite about her 8:45 time (although she might have glanced at a wall clock). Some of us don’t leave home without our watch and our eye makeup on; others just don’t consider times to be that urgent on their schedules.

I can say that Rudy Sanchez and he are not the same individual. Bunch was more interested in putting the fact that RS was an alias on the record more than finding him at the time, fwiw.

If Rudy Sanchez is an alias, isn’t one piece of our research trying to find his real name, which hopefully Houze has.
If Houze knew it was an alias, imo that was most likely because RS was either illegal with someone else’s SSN, or was a drug (entrapment) investigative agent–the latter is the most likely reason LE believed him. Would be a reason the then Portland FBI head took such an unusual interest with his physical presence at the scene & on camera from Day 1. Doesn’t mean Rudy would be a Fed employee placed there as a landscaper. He could just be a community stringer (even illegal) who set up & turned in very small time dealors from time to time for benefits ( like not being deported). On the other hand at the one vice president’s progeny’s private, I observed it was the hispanic secret service employees who regularly played landscapers. So maybe that’s true of DEA agents too. But if I were a DEA agent or a secondary stinger in Rudy’s shoes, I’d try to use seduction on a lonely housewife to do the job.
Also, if Terri solicited a mfh, makes more sense she turned to him
if Rudy presented himself to her as drug-supply connected.

Agreed. Remember too, the public statement by LE, that *the family* had the truck the towed, because it wouldn’t start. Yeah, right. One does not tow a truck because it doesn’t start. I call BS on that one. (So did Larry Moulton.) IMO, the family, particularly Tony Young, at that time was already somehow convinced that Terri did it and that there was possibly evidence to be found in/or around that truck. To this day, I wonder if it is possible that someone in that family planted evidence in that truck. Maybe Kyron’s glasses? Maybe not, but the timing of him being shown without his glasses, seems to coincide with the *family’s request* that the truck be towed.

Lindstrand said a white pickup truck removed from the Horman property was not towed as part of the investigation. The Horman family had tried to drive the truck to the grocery store, found that the starter was dead and called a tow truck, she said.

JMO, but I don’t think Lindstrand was actually telling a total lie. It was the truth, that *the family* wanted the truck towed, I just think the reason
for the towing was BS.
RS, imo, could have been easily found by the respondent’s legal in the summer of 2010. imo, in absence of the respondent filing a timely (summer of 2010) Motion to Contest the TRO, one of the reasons for bringing up the “alias” may have been to put into question the credibility of RS (to the benefit of the respondent).
Blink, a question for you.
If someone is suspected of participation in 2 different felony crimes, and they are eventually charged with only the “lesser priority” crime of the 2, does that person’s legal have access to everything LE/DA has on their client including that which pertains to the other uncharged crime?

In spite of the change in routine, there was not a late opening and the bell schedule automatically remained the same. There was normally a bell at 8:35 and one at 8:45. Buses arrived about 8:30, so in order to get kids to classrooms, I believe they let the bells ring as usual. My opinion has always been that the ringing of the bells served as a marker in at least some people’s minds when recalling times that morning. (Of course, they could have turned off the bells, but I’d be amazed if they did.)
I don’t know what they actually did after the 8:45 bell, but the logical thing to do would be to ring the bell again manually from the office at 9:50 and 10 AM since that would get everyone back to their rooms for attendance to be taken.
So let’s pretend am associate of AS-S’s was Terri Horman’s gardener.
AS-S’s associate (let’s call him aliasRS or aRS so I don’t have to keep typing this over and over), aRS does some brush removal, etc. for Terri while her husband Kaine is out of town. aRS somehow connects with TMH and soon it becomes a romantic involvement and it turns out (over a joint or two) that TMH could use some money and aRS and associates are actually associated with a huge drug cartel ring. They could use a mule, and Terri could use some money (maybe saving for divorce?). So they hire TMH to do some drug running, and so she does. And her life, in her eyes, is going fine. Housewife and mommy during the day, but also while doing her daily errands she’s dropping off drugs and picking up cash whilst visiting her favorite grocery stores and starbucks. whatever.
Thereafter:
Scenario 1
Kyron goes missing. LE is asking anyone and everyone to puke their guts out. “Do you have any enemies?” “Have you ever been involved in an illegal activities?” “Do you use drugs? If so, where do you get them?” etc.,etc.
So, Terri answers, finally, maybe in the third poly, Yes, yes I have and yes I think you should go look at this dude, namely aRS. So, aRS gets a knock on the door and LE says, hey bud, you have just been named as TMH’s source for selling her illegal drugs. Is this guy going to say, “Oh, no officer Gates, she was actually running drugs for me.” ? Nope. Is he going to say “Yes officer Gates, she was actually buying drugs from me”? Nope. What Would he say? Hmmmmm. Wouldn’t he be more likely to say something like: “I was just her gardener for cryin’ out loud! That loco bitch even asked me to kill her husband. She told me she’d pay me a bunch of money to just put his lights out.” aRS does not want to be in trouble with AS-S and his Cartel, better to take a chance here in OR and do whatever the heck LE is asking him. So, LE puts a wire on aRS and off they go. If, Terri had already confessed to knowing this dude, what’s she to do when he comes he to the door. So, she answers and doesn’t recognize the other dude with him (cop). aRS says, hey remember when you asked me to off your husband six months ago? Well, if you don’t give me 10k in hush money, I’m going straight to LE and tell them what transpired. She knows it was BS, so she tells him to get out or I’m calling 911. They don’t budge, so she does. End of a perfectly good sting. (LOL)
Scenario 2
Terri was running drugs. She held back some of the money from one of her drop offs/pickups. Maybe a lot of money. aRS contacts her about the $$$, December 09?. She doesn’t have it, spent it on ?????. She tells him she quits the running and doesn’t want any more of it, and with much machismo, tells them to F-off or she’ll turn in the whole operation. Hmmmm?
Next? They threaten her, threaten her with the disappearance of her children. So, she tries to send Ky away to Desiree’s, but Kaine intervenes. Next she sends James away sometime in the early months of 2010. She is planning on divorcing Kaine anyway, and moving away with her daughter, somewhere.
The cartel people tell their people, she needs to be made example of, so this doesn’t happen again. Pooof, Kyron is snatched.
It is Terri’s fault. Terri is to blame for sure, but she has no idea where he is.
Maybe it’s this scenario. I didn’t go into as much detail as some, but you get my drift. What if, Terri did know all her children were in some sort of danger because of something she had participated in, but failed them, and majorly failed Kyron. It would explain why she let Kaine take Kiara. IDK, but Terri in that first presser looked like nothing but pure fear. I guess the questin is fear of wht? Fear for Kyron and his whereabouts? Fear her daughter and son J might reach the same fate as Kyron did? Fear for herself?
None of this would surprise me. Oh, wait, that’s right, Staton said we’d be surprised, then I guess this isn’t it. Makes some sense though?

But wondering if DY and TY are estranged? He was not there to “support” any of the suit stuff. Not in court with her, nor on the steps. Any news on that front? I’m thinking he maybe never supported the suit. And the potential deposition was something he was not interested in doing at ALL.
And also wondering about Rackner. Is she ill or has she dropped out of the picture for other reasons. Maybe I was reading something into it, but those earlier defamations of TMH in the early motions she wrote….it seemed to me that some of her (Kaine’s) statements were almost tongue-in-cheek.

Newport boy said he was abducted to avoid trouble
Police say the boy admitted fabricating the story on Saturday to avoid getting into trouble with family members and school officials. He had left the school without permission, went to an area of Newport he was unfamiliar with. He then asked a resident in that area to drive him home after it grew dark.

Well, I was writing about those cell phones and the pinging business. Red Mustang, SI. What if SOMEONE (or KH) bought throwaway cells in TMH’s name, took off from work (or had a pal do the driving) and tried to set up an elaborate “get rid of the pesky wifey” plan?
Nobody has said the phones were actually in her hands; nobody knows who was called, or even how long the cell lines were open. I just don’t see how she could have The Truck and The Red Mustang at the same time, makes no sense. (because someone saw a red mustang on SI at that time) — maybe a white truck, too?
We know TMH had the truck. No way could she get from the 2 Freddy’s in the valley, up over the top of Skyline and down that winding Cornelius Pass Road to S.I. as fast as they are saying she did (10:15-11:00 unaccounted for). She couldn’t be in both places. She couldn’t have both vehicles.
So maybe somebody trying to make her look bad (never thinking she would have receipts to back her up). Of course that still doesn’t tell us what anybody did with Kyron, unless ‘dear ole dad’ handed him off to a brother and told him to keep him ‘hidden’ until TMH was out of the picture and then they would work out an elaborate story about him being found.
Of course, maybe she really IS The Bad Guy. I like the two scenarios by

He was charged long ago with 2nd degree rape & plead to 3rd; was deported in a flawed expedited proceeding
without the required hearing (INS erroneously) recorded a conviction of 2nd to do so). On return, his new charges
were assault & theft. Since the 2010 drcision he should’ve plead to those but was probably being held at Ft Sheridan
awaiting a hearing for simple illegal reentry & that’s probably what’s going on niw (Federal count 1 relating to reentry; 2 & 3 were dismissed). Imo if he had drug violations, he would’ve been charged.

Was there ever any relational evidence between Anselmo & Rudy

Rudy’s crediblity with mcso plus his “alias” and Sci Fair interviewees being told before a completed knterview Terri was THE suspect (hugh likelihood to impact on an investigation given el ed parent gossip mills) only make sense

the beginning. Flakey scuzballs do get used to make cases. Anyway could explain why a DEA agent was there, the FBI local head so involved, the alias insisted on, the 911 calls not FOIA’s. Maybe they didn’t want another This America Life show on a grassroots informant like “the Convert.”

I’ve got this missing little boy in my head and I would love more than anything to find him. When this whole thing happened, it was everyone, even LE was quick to point the finger at TMH. I know that she is not in a good position to do much of anything as they’ve made her the enemy “per say”.
Could TMH file suit against Skyline School System on her own?

If no one is coming forward and saying they saw Kyron after 8:45 when Terri last did. Then it brings up many questions. 1) what was TP referring to? Possibly the day before?, I don’t think they were put in groups the day before, were they? If we throw out TP’s testimony, did anyone else infer or say they saw Kyron after 8:45? Not that I recall. (The 9ish comment from Kim Holm could very well have meant 8:45 or 8:46.)
So we have been told Kyron was last seen in front of his classroom, right? So when was he seen by a witness who saw him with SZ? If we believe that Terri actually didn’t leave until 8:45 then, would it not have to be at the same time, around 8:45? (If she had left earlier and Kyron was running around on his own, then of course, the SZ observation could have been earlier.)
If Kyron disappeared sometime between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m., before the groups were formed, then that’s a pretty narrow window of time for LE to reconstruct the hallway and who was in it. This makes me wonder if Terri was indeed being followed by someone. Makes me think that as soon as she headed the opposite direction of Kyron, that person snatched Kyron. This person, would have had to know that Kyron’s daddy wasn’t there either, so whomever it was either knew Kaine wouldn’t be there, or had followed Terri around that morning.
Who would have known Terri would be at the school that day WITHOUT Kaine? Kaine stated in one of the interviews that Terri “had known for weeks” that he would not be there, which made it sound like ordinarily, he would. Who else knew that?
Wait a minute, what if Terri did not leave at 8:45. LE states Terri Horman was the last known person to see Kyron. Terri says she last saw Kyron @ 8:45. LE does not say that 8:45 was the last time Kyron was seen, they never have. What if Kyron was not seen by anyone after say, 8:30? Yet Terri has insisted he was there at 8:45, but he wasn’t. Jason Gates in one interview said that Terri was there when Kyron disappeared. I don’t know if that was an error on his part and he just meant that morning, or if he slipped up.
Did Kyron get taken from the school while Terri was still there? Did someone see Kyron with SZ PRIOR to 8:45? Did Terri make sure Kyron was taken and then left at 8:45?
So many questions, this case makes my brain hurt. :
Reporter: Kaine’s truck. I’m sorry… What are your thoughts on that new information? Do you feel as though Dede was in that truck?
Desiree: (interrupts) It just makes me feel stronger that, that there were people helping her… that Kyron saw it all and was involved and that there were other people helping her… which is what we suspected.
Reporter: So because… but do you believe that a man was spotted? I mean again, these are witness accounts, and I don’t know how much information that you’ve been privy to about what the, what is the likeliest scenario?
Desiree: Well first of all, why would Kyron even be outside the school? Why would he even be near a truck with somebody else in it?
You know. I mean it’s significant in a huge way to the case. If the timeline played out the way that it supposedly did? That contradicts that completely.So I mean, other than that (shrugs), that’s how significant it was to me.
Reporter: How authentic do you think that witness is? I mean how…

Reporter: So it’s a credible…

Portland, Ore. – Possible sighting of missing boy, Kyron Horman, caused a truck driver to call the tip line on Saturday, according to Fox 12 Oregon. Horman, a seven year-old boy who went missing Friday, June 4 at his school science fair, has been missing without a trace as search efforts continue looking for the second-grader.
Kyron Horman Sighting – Did Truck Driver See Horman?
David Vaughan, a truck driver who was driving down Highway 26 on Saturday afternoon, claims to have seen a child resembling Kyron Horman. Vaughan told authorities he was driving down Salmon Berry Road in western Washington County when a pickup truck suddenly turned in front of him. In an effort to avoid a collision the black or grey truck, Vaughan slammed his breaks.
The truck driver recalled seeing a boy in the front seat who looked like Kyron Horman. He described the boy looking startled and said, “I saw this young boy looking out the window at me (with) a startled look on his face and that was it until I got home that evening. My wife and I were talking and we saw this come on the news, and it flashed that this looked very familiar to me — a very distinctive young man and I thought it was worth making a call.”
Vaughan said an FBI agent called him back Monday regarding the tip he gave. Nothing more has been reported on this, but it’s one of 1,200 tips ongoing in the search for missing Kyron Horman.
Unless there is a fear that LE is involved in criminal activity, (TH having no one to turn to but her attorney) why wouldn’t TH confess to the lesser crime, (drug running or sexting business or whatever) in order to find Kyron?
And, why wouldn’t TH confess to lesser crimes to eventually see her daughter? Is there a crime (ie. child porn) that would preclude her from seeing her daughter? Did she subject Kyron to these acts, or people, and he was taken by someone as a result? She has no direct knowledge of his whereabouts, but cannot confess to the crime, as it will negate any chance of her parenting her daughter?

It has always been a possibility in my mind that the abduction wasn’t planned but that Kyron interrupted something in the parking lot. Kyron may have picked up on “dealings” early on and this escalated to his disappearance. Remember Kyron was going fishing with TY a LEO that weekend and what would happen if he said he was going to tell while in the parking lot? James was older and TH may have had to get him out of town before he noticed anything and she wanted Kyron to go to Desiree’s for the same reason but no go. Bad guy takes Kyron and TH has no choice and does not know what happened to him. This of course is not a new idea. Blink says this is a sexually motivated crime but maybe, not so much about Kyron.
PORTLAND — Portland police were asking for help finding a wanted sex offender who failed to check in with his parole officer, but found out Monday afternoon that police in Arizona had found him. The Oregon State Parole Board issued a felony warrant for first-degree sex abuse after 50-year-old Lawrence David Hendon failed to register as a sex offender. He also failed to report to his parole officer after his January 4 release from prison.
Hendon was known to frequent North Portland, said Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Hours after Portland police announced a reward for his capture, Hendon was found in Apache Junction, Arizona. But Simpson said the warrant does not allow for Hendon to be extradited from Arizona and brought back to Oregon.
