Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

I wonder if there was some kind of search or bust at 24 Hr. which exposed Briede as having some involvement in steroid sales and that is the real reason Briede and 24 Hr. had a parting of the ways. Maybe clients like KH went with Briede and clients like TH stayed at 24, including Briede’s own sister another 24 Hr. employee who did not leave in support of her brother, but stayed at 24 Hr.

I know, classic. Could have been the reason James and KH butted heads. I agree with you, that Kyron could have come to the attention of someone in this world, in the gym or otherwise. I also think it was not the steroids per se that brought this on Kyron, but the type of people it attracted, or more to the point who they became under the influence. Some of those behaviors mimic DAD and his aggressiveness with weapons and his paranoia.
To your point about KH’s behaviors, there is further research about the type of men who use PED’s and their negative body image and insecurities that prompt this addiction in the first place. And I can’t help thinking about the demeanor of KH post abduction which was blamed on him being an engineer type. But there is a lack of empathy component to this and empathy is just hard to fake.

Right Blink. Also, IMO it’s not that anyone would endorse the abduction of a child, it’s just no one is going to reveal how this felonious activity could have impacted security of this home and it’s children for fear of the repercussions especially if there is no guarantee it will bring Kyron back.

I think a negative body image might relate in such cases (steroid-dependant for muscle bldg) to sexual identity confusion/insecurities which would also lead such one to rush into the arms of new women. Last type kiara should be with imo after mother/brothers/grandparent couple -severances.

Do we know WHEN the DEA came on board in this missing child’s case? We know they were there for the sting, but were they involved earlier on?
Why was the DEA with RSE in the sting in the first place? Did TMH pay RSE with roids, or some other drugs? Is that how KH never knew they had a landscaper, because he was paid with illegal drugs?
What if one of the persons writing checks to KH to purchase illegal roids, was actually undercover DEA? Is it possible that during one of TMH’s initial 6-hour long interviews after Kyron disappeared, she herself brought up the steroid use and discussed her ratting out a dealer previously. Is it possible there was already an undercover DEA operation ongoing to catch the roid dealer when Kyron disappeared?
IDK, but I’m remembering that Staton said something about they needed better communication between agencies or some such.
If it is true, that TMH ratted out a roid dealer, why wasn’t that dealer ever arrested? Was it still an ongoing investigation or would we know if he/she had been arrested? We don’t know the exact year that allegedly happened do we?

Good question as to why DY appeared concerned about TMH’s drinking, but hasn’t said a word about Spicer’s claim that she saw and took check(s) and syringes to TMH’s lawyer, allegedly indicating Kaine was a roid user/dealer. Is it because she had been a user herself, which caused kidney problems? Or????? IDK, but it is interesting that she has had no comment in this regard.
Btw, there was a news reporton TV this morning, simply showed a picture of Kyron and some car wash poster, reporting saying DY is raising money for a future search. Pretty much all it said, but at least his photo hit the news again. IMO anytime a missing child’s face hits the news it’s a good reminder for all of us to look for him/her.

Missing Bellevue mother & daughter considered ‘endangered’
BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police are looking for a mother and toddler who have been missing for six days and may be in danger.
Nichol Pappas picked up her 3-year-old child Sunday from the little girl’s grandparents house, where she lives. Pappas doesn’t have custody of the girl, Emilea Switzer, but was allowed to take her out on Mother’s Day, according to Bellevue police.
Pappas was supposed to return the girl on Monday, but she didn’t show up. The grandparents initially didn’t want to involve the police and spent several days searching for the pair on their own. When they had no luck, they called the police on Friday.
Police say Pappas is homeless, but is known to spend time in the south King County area. She is believed to be driving a burgundy 1996 Chevy Blazer with Washington plate 805-YZJ.

Kyron Horman Sighting – Did Truck Driver See Horman?
David Vaughan, a truck driver who was driving down Highway 26 on Saturday afternoon, claims to have seen a child resembling Kyron Horman. Vaughan told authorities he was driving down Salmon Berry Road in western Washington County when a pickup truck suddenly turned in front of him. In an effort to avoid a collision the black or grey truck, Vaughan slammed his breaks.
The truck driver recalled seeing a boy in the front seat who looked like Kyron Horman. He described the boy looking startled and said, “I saw this young boy looking out the window at me (with) a startled look on his face and that was it until I got home that evening. My wife and I were talking and we saw this come on the news, and it flashed that this looked very familiar to me — a very distinctive young man and I thought it was worth making a call.”
Vaughan said an FBI agent called him back Monday regarding the tip he gave. Nothing more has been reported on this, but it’s one of 1,200 tips ongoing in the search for missing Kyron Horman.

I wonder why it took two days for this man to get a call back? The article says tips were being checked every 15 minutes. I’d like to know if this sighting was ever ruled out as not being Kyron.
I could be wrong, but I don’t recall anyone ever searching that area back then. Don’t know where the pickup truck was headed, but two days is a long time to get somewhere far away.
Old stuff, I know, but this particular sighting sounded so viable, and yet it took them two days to contact this guy.

The school does have a lot of parent volunteers. I have checked the newsletters and have not seen a request for parent volunteers for this event, though. It does not mean there weren’t any, but at least no explicit request. I do know that LE has looked into volunteers.
I may be naive, but I feel that right now Skyline is the safest place to be anywhere in the US. We are surrounded by news trucks 24/7, there is LE in the school at all times, and everyone is hyper-vigilant. So I don’t think most parents are afraid for their kids. We are just all really concerned about Kyron and about not undertanding how something like this could have happened

Sometimes I like to go back the beginning and just read what was being discussed. Being as we’re getting very close the 5th anniversary of Kyron’s disappearance, makes me hopeful that LE will release some sort of update. (Though I won’t be surprised if there isn’t one.) Anywho, I found the above post by a Skyline parent interesting and hadn’t seen it before. Sounds like the school usually does put out a call for volunteers on a day such as this one, but this time, they did not. Why? And if volunteers were on some sort of list (as TMH indicated a chaperone list), at what point were these volunteers commandeered and who selected them? Was it a last minute thought? Or again, were the chaperones older children and not the usual volunteer parents? I believe another parent (neighbor) also posted that sometimes they used older children as chaperones. If this was the case, then why? Was it to allow the usual volunteer parents to instead spend time with their own child at the science fair, or is it possible, this was intentionally planned to lessen security? All a bunch of if’s, but it seems that emma69, was doing due diligence, by going back and checking her copies of the Skyline newsletter.

This case just keeps getting stranger and stranger. It sounds as though all the parents might have been hanging out with some unsavory characters. My theory has always been that it was a pedophile who took Kyron, not the stepmother. At least 2 kids apparently saw Kyron in the school parking lot with an adult male after Terri left; are the police discounting their testimony because the kids are under age?
Not only that, Terri and her parents are being stalked and harassed by a group of women who drove Terri out of her job. I think the judge should have allowed the anti-stalking order. The LE agencies have investigated Terri heavily for 5 years and come up with nothing. They don’t even name her as a person of interest, let alone charge her with a crime.
I also believe Terri’s friend DeDe.
Who slipped under the radar while everyone was focusing solely on Terri? Sadly, it’s unlikely that this innocent little boy is alive today. If there is a sexual predator hiding in plain sight, that predator *will* eventually strike again!

One reason I’m asking is the Rojo Ardilla, indicates to me that TMH more than likely had at least some knowledge of the Spanish language. She often referred to her and some friends as “chicas” as well. So I’m guessing she did speak at least some Spanish.
I had never seen this list before, but who uses an email handle “lewd conduct”? This list seems not to be in calendar order. If these are accurate addresses she used, it would be interesting to know why the change from “lewd conduct” back to “red squirrel” after the Horman’s moved to Sheltered Nook. Is it possible they moved because Terri and/or Kaine were trying to leave something behind them when they moved out to the far more isolated Sheltered Nook location? Is it possible at least one of them was running from something/someone way back then? Something that was going on when they lived in Aloha? Was the vampire let in well before Kyron went missing?

From a credible source: I am told TH was the go between for DY and KH almost exclusively with the occasional exception for pick up and drop off terse dialogue.
In other words, all correspondence, all care needs, scheduling and all things “Kyron” went through TH to DY and vice versa. Desiree and Kaine had zero contact directly for years. In retrospect of this information, that is pretty clear if we review things like DY stating that TH was trying to help her get more visitation and that TH was told by Kaine “no”, and some of the incidents that DY brought up in interviews. It was always the two of them corresponding in some manner- again, it made sense to me that Kaine told DY that he was not aware of the incident she was referencing because of the lack of contact- not because I believe it happened.

Web site is down to overload of web traffic (viewers) on the site. Over 4 million hits in 4 days – LOVE IT. Now to get it back online… will post an update when fixed. Keep posting and sharing even if traffic volumes keep the web site down. Kyron still needs us!!

what is going on? That site had 4 million hits in 4 days like I had 4 million visitors to my home in 4 days. It is a simple analytics search, either someone is misreading site stats or lying. 92% of their traffic is from searchword “Kyron Horman”- with a 45% bounce rate. Who thinks roughly 8 million people decided to kws “kyron horman” over 4 days. That explanation is bogus.
