Kyron Horman Missing Case: Terri Horman Breaks Her Silence In People Magazine Interview

New York, NY-  For nearly five and a half years Terri Horman has refused to speak publicly about her step-sons case.  Outside of one assertion of her innocence while on the stand in a name change hearing she ultimately was denied, Horman did not speak to any reporters or answer any of their questions regarding Kyron Hormans disappearance. Until Now.

Horman courtesy of People

Horman was interviewed by People Magazines Elaine Aradillas for both the print and online editions,  and will be doing a series of personal interviews over the next week, to include wwww.blinkoncrime.com.

In the brief online video excerpt , the second part to air on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday morning,  Horman  maintains she is deaf in her left ear, a critical factor in the outcome of her first polygraph.

“… At what point are Kyron’s biological parents going to realize I don’t have the answers, they need to change this thing around…”

“…There is so much the public is not being told about this investigation, that’s why I am doing this- nobody is looking for Kyron…”

Horman’s interview drew sharp reactions from Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron’s parents.

“…Why is she silent for 5 1/2 years if she is innocent.  I want her to tell me where Kyron is.  If she is innocent she should call Multnomah County Sheriffs Office and sit down for an interview…”-  Desiree Young

“Hi friends. Yes I am well aware of the tabloid journalism piece in the media today. FYI – there will be more of the same coming Friday
We have a HOST of MCSO and FBI investigators STILL standing by with interviews and polygraphs when someone actually wants to cooperate. FEEL FREE TO STOP BY THEY ARE WAITING!! STILL!! Until then we’ll stick with the scores of people with valid/accurate information and the failed polygraphs as the only actual actions taken to-date.  To all of you: how about not linking the article/interview?
REMEMBER KYRON?!?!? This is what we need to be focused on!!
Love you Kyron!!” – Kaine Horman post on his Facebook Page

Christina Stoy, www.blinkoncrime.com Editor In Chief was able to confirm with Ms. Horman directly that she has been willing to meet with Kyron’s investigators both previously and in the future with the sole provision that it be conducted in the presence of her Attorney,  Portland criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze.

Horman went on to say that investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have been well aware of “that” over the last five and a half years and they have never requested an interview.  Um, What?

Horman reveals some shocking details about the subsequent polygraphs examinations referenced by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young and other allegations of improper tactics on behalf of MCSO in the second half of her interview to air tomorrow morning on abc’s GMA and on Nightline.

What is the program that DAD’s story is on tonight? Or is it simply part of a newscast?

I didn’t realize KG was not affiliated with any of the ABC,NBC,CBS stations, so I guess I won’t be able to see it. Too bad Ann Curry isn’t there any more.

It is part of the local KGW evening news. On the KGW website under local it will be KGW INVESTIGATES. They are affiliated with NBC but this will be on the local news at 6 PM tonight Thursday February 4th.

There are two types of audits. Most people think of financial audits. However, there is another type of audit and that is an operational audit that is usually tasked with finding if a particular organization is following proper rules, laws and procedures in accordance with recognized standards.

In the case of MCSO it appears that both types of audits should be performed beginning with the time Stanton was appointed to office. The teams should operate at the same time and be prepared to exchange critical information. An outside CPA firm for the financial side and a special audit team of investigators including attorneys for the operational audit.

The operational audit would check the training for every position of the entire organization to determine if they were qualified under state standards to hold the position. There would also be an examination of the organizational chart to see if it was working correctly as set out and someone or several someone’s were going around it to benefit themselves or others.

In a state that uses the County Commissioner system of management, the Commissioners usually headed by a County Judge are the agency that approves the budgets for all the agencies in the county. The county auditor’s task is to determine if all the approved expenditures follow the budget as approved. Nothing is switched around without proper authorization.

SH, I agree with you regarding Durham. I believe there was a darned good reason (that we are not privy to) for Blink to have a post on him:

    http://blinkoncrime.com/2011/01/30/fugitive-cop-shooter-david-durhams-house-located-in-new-kyron-horman-search-grid/

The whole Durham episode is highly suspicious including the “manhunt”, where if I recall correctly, searchers were looking in the opposite direction of where he was last seen fleeing, the shots taken at a fisherman in his boat who said the shooter did not resemble DD, the ability of DD to simultaneously drive his vehicle at high speeds yet be able to fire upon pursuing LE vehicles, etc.

It seemed as though once the “theater” of looking for him played out for the news cycles the story disappeared. I didn’t watch the video from KGW, I just read the article with it. I didn’t notice anything new in the story, more like a brief recap. Like someone earlier mentioned, the need to air this story at this time is mighty suspicious, too.

Iboshi has a direct line to MCSO and Staton.

  23. A Texas Grandfather says:

    Rose

Your link on the #18 post above tells the whole story of why Kyron has not been found. MCSO is basically driven by the SAR function and has little or no interest in other functions of their LE responsibility. If all one has is a hammer for a tool, then everything is treated as a nail. If one has no common sense regarding how crimes are committed, the public is treated to a lot of expense chasing an image of doing something. That something was a false “made-up” story of murder for hire that fell apart on the agency along with hours and hours of overtime searching the area without properly treating the site of the disappearance.

The people of the County should have gathered the necessary signatures to recall sheriff know nothing and found a quality lawman to take the job.

  24. Rose says:

@Blink. Does the OR DOJ have the power to subpoena Yankee and compel her to answer questions about her suit, say in a Grand Jury inquiry? Imo she should talk to NO State investigator and play out her suit testimony in advance, OR expose herself to perjury charges. Imo Kafoury, portraying righteousness, just threw Yankee under the bus.
    http://www.wweek.com/2016/02/05/the-oregon-department-of-justice-agrees-to-investigate-multnomah-county-sheriff-dan-staton/

mcso primarily is a public corrections business, as Shipwrack
the Commissioners’ liason noted when she asked Kafoury to
    eval for appointive Sheriff.

that was very naive. What they needed to do

Fat Shaming in a public forum by anyone is disgusting but when it is done by a public official it advances to sickening. Since you don’t always know why someone got to be over weight or what steps they may have already taken to lose weight. I think any one who thinks that fat shaming people(children or adults) is ok has problems of their own. Like picking on other people to make themselves feel superior.

Flat out- it is bullying among other disgusting socially deviant behavior. Agreed.

Fwiw, it is highly unusual for a County Sheriffs office to take over another area (Troutdale) when they are grossly understaffed and grossly overbudget as it is. On the surface it appears to me the County Commissioners were trying to reign him in and he was trying to use Yankee as a “green curtain”. What I cant seem to locate is the breakdown of his numbers in support.
