Kyron Horman Missing Case: Terri Horman Breaks Her Silence In People Magazine Interview

New York, NY-  For nearly five and a half years Terri Horman has refused to speak publicly about her step-sons case.  Outside of one assertion of her innocence while on the stand in a name change hearing she ultimately was denied, Horman did not speak to any reporters or answer any of their questions regarding Kyron Hormans disappearance. Until Now.

Horman courtesy of People

Horman was interviewed by People Magazines Elaine Aradillas for both the print and online editions,  and will be doing a series of personal interviews over the next week, to include

In the brief online video excerpt , the second part to air on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday morning,  Horman  maintains she is deaf in her left ear, a critical factor in the outcome of her first polygraph.

“… At what point are Kyron’s biological parents going to realize I don’t have the answers, they need to change this thing around…”

“…There is so much the public is not being told about this investigation, that’s why I am doing this- nobody is looking for Kyron…”

Horman’s interview drew sharp reactions from Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron’s parents.

“…Why is she silent for 5 1/2 years if she is innocent.  I want her to tell me where Kyron is.  If she is innocent she should call Multnomah County Sheriffs Office and sit down for an interview…”-  Desiree Young

“Hi friends. Yes I am well aware of the tabloid journalism piece in the media today. FYI – there will be more of the same coming Friday
We have a HOST of MCSO and FBI investigators STILL standing by with interviews and polygraphs when someone actually wants to cooperate. FEEL FREE TO STOP BY THEY ARE WAITING!! STILL!! Until then we’ll stick with the scores of people with valid/accurate information and the failed polygraphs as the only actual actions taken to-date.  To all of you: how about not linking the article/interview?
REMEMBER KYRON?!?!? This is what we need to be focused on!!
Love you Kyron!!” – Kaine Horman post on his Facebook Page

Christina Stoy, Editor In Chief was able to confirm with Ms. Horman directly that she has been willing to meet with Kyron’s investigators both previously and in the future with the sole provision that it be conducted in the presence of her Attorney,  Portland criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze.

Horman went on to say that investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have been well aware of “that” over the last five and a half years and they have never requested an interview.  Um, What?

Horman reveals some shocking details about the subsequent polygraphs examinations referenced by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young and other allegations of improper tactics on behalf of MCSO in the second half of her interview to air tomorrow morning on abc’s GMA and on Nightline.

@erose. wrt “t?.. and no one wanted to release that info before TH was nailed to the cross, why?”
MCSO has never released anything re
    1) the man in the photograph, later identified,
    2) “a male chaperone as told to TH,”
    3) SZ incident in Mathews’ classroom, escorting Kyron out of the building.

Imo this is because the ADA on the case (hehe Brown’s Public Safety Advisor) or her supervisor informed Kafvre, O’Donnell, or Staton and his downstream, as that ADA co-worked Grand Jury(1),
hell no do not tell stepmother because that is Exculpatory Evidence of TH!
I remain puzzled why MCSO/DA informed the bios about SZ (I think Blink has said,
I could be wrong) at some point because
    1) DY tended to let it (info from LE) all hang out,
    2) Kaine would know it shot down the basis of his RO entirely.

Yes, both bios were informed of SZ and the circumstances.

  3. Ode says:

So my question is did Kaine Horman settle because he didn’t want RSE to testify? Why would he do that? My only answer would be because he knew it was BS.

    A B S O L U T E L Y. If I am not mistaken, the FAPA was converted the previous June- very telling.
I am such a “lay lay person” why does this indicate that it was Kaine not Terri that did not want RSE to testify. Don’t throw tomatoes at me just going on what some may think on other sites that have still been vocal about Kyron’s disappearance but stupidly think they have omnipotent powers. I am certainly glad that Kyron is still thought about but not impressed with the witch hunt. We do not know who really really knows what happened to Kyron.
    Frustrated..Frustrated…but patient.

I think Kaine settled for 2 reasons-
#1 first and foremost- his steroid admissions. Obviously HouzeofBunch would have used that in 2 ways- 1. The mfh allegation was a smoke screen to remove TMH from the residence and interfere with her parental rights and 2. It would support TMH assertions of Kaine’s demeanor to the children and her.

#2 RSE- his testimony already disproved the FAPA. The “good faith basis” for the “fear” for Kaine and Kiara’s safety according to “it” was that TMH tried to (attempted- important legal difference)to hire him during a lunch meeting in Fall 2008. The FAPA affidavit alleged TMH “attempts” to hire him “late last year” (Sic) indicating 2009. As I posted when this was learned- those dates do not match. Specifics on that in the piece.

  4. Ode says:

Oh Blink, I am not frustrated with you at all, but I am patient.

I would not blame anyone for frustration in this case overall or with me in regards to my upcoming series and interviews with TH.
(refer to Lizzy “time wrinkle” verbiage). In retrospect, knowing what an egregious undertaking this would be in every way, I should probably not have even mentioned it in advance.

  7. Rose says:

Since DY was informed of K’s bldg exit with SZ, why is her surrogate, Soldier, republishing and republishing DY’s own words stating Kyron left with Terri? Seems like she has an affirmative obligation to her followers to say, “Based on further information given me by LE, Kyron did not walk out of the blldg with Terri but with another person.” I suppose
that was the info that led to her dropping the civil suit.

Since LE told the bios, LE surely could and should have told the Judge in the custody battle,
since the only basis for the FAPA was the word of LE in the first place.

Judge ordered no statements or LE conversations could even enter the zip code of the custody case-
The defense of SZ info not being offered in an active investigation is simple- at the time, LE could not know if SZ was working in tandem with or for their defacto suspect, TH.. SZ and the FAPA as far as I know, have nothing to do with each other in establishing SZ identity. I do know that Kaine is the only person I have seen finally give his about 50% truth in knowledge about the “mysterious unidentified man” and that is confirmation there is one. How anyone continues to skate around that is beyond me?

I believe DY is under some opinion that distance from SG and the haters offers her some plausible deniability from their actions since her conversations with counsel June 2015 (at least the ones I am aware of). Obviously that is not accurate. Add to that posting false information intentionally to defame or embarass someone is not parody or opinion- especially on a community classified FB where no alternative opinions will be posted. I will save all from my Jack Nicholson impression about not handling truth.

That said you are asking reasonable questions about what a reasonable person would do and say. With great respect for her loss and pain- I am not finding anything reasonable about her public commentary or actions associated with those seriously depraved loons.

  8. Rose says:

for mcso not to tell at least everyone there that day pits the chances of id’ing SZ at zero.
If attendees were told promptly, someone might’ve remembered & recognized him.
What screwups. Idk why the bios weren’t outraged. I guessKaine had steroids hanging over him.
What comparable threat could mcso have hung over DY?

The possibility that TH would never be arrested, Kyron would ever be located, or some permutation thereof.

  9. Rose says:

@Ode. Rack-gel’s position that Fall in Court was they were absolutely going to put RSE on the stand, and they went so far as to get Kantor to rule BunchaHouze could not cross that trial testimony. The flaw with their determination to have RSE testify and put that on record is that Houze got to participate in the depo.
It wasAFTER RSE’s depo Rack-gel realized they could not use him at trial. He was never Houze’s witness but Kaine’s. So much for Rack-gel just trying to help LE. She should’ve interviewed him herself before she based a FAPA on his story.

Blink, if you don’t post the article at all it is ok. I can’t imagine what kind of can of worms from a wormhole you have been tossed. My earlier comment about the settlement is what frustrates me. It seems Terri still got screwed. I suppose the continued outside interference may have been unforeseen.

Lol. I promise to discuss all wormhole projectiles.

I think it is fair to say that even though I have been trained to believe anything is possible in an investigation, and I most certainly have encountered my share of “firsts” over the years- at the end of this, Kyron’s case will likely be the record holder for me in terms of “firsts” I have been exposed to in a similar investigation.

  13. A Texas Grandfather says:

I we could only get the full court transcript of the custody trial and access to all the documents submitted, it is my opinion that there is more than enough for an appeal. I’ll even go so far as to state that there is a very big possibility of malfeasance by the court that could be proven.

With all the corruption or the appearance of corruption that you have uncovered in the legal/LE operations of Multnomah county, the whole of the county should be investigated by a quality team of people.

I actually encourage transparency and updates in Kyron’s case- obviously coming from the online gallows crew that might deter same, however- this must be confirmation LE has abandoned TMH as a suspect imo. Why else wouldn’t an update be forthcoming to his parents? Why not pick up the phone for an update? Schedule a meeting, etc. Bizarre.

  16. Rose says:

Do not underestimate his willngness to push for an arrest sans beylnd a reasonable doubt wvidence, nkr Rod’s to accommodate him. This is not a good guy/white hat. He will seek to establish a new Chief hegemony in a job where he will lack the transparenct-accountability he had at PPB. One can Get Cars as Sheriff, and the Fed DOJ has little interest as it did with PPB. Were I Houze, I’d realize the next 6 mos are a time of enhanced jeopardy.

I thought because her Surrogate made a FB post that
Det. Relentless Aggressive was on the case, DY must’ve

My intel suggests that is correct.

  20. Rose says:

I am interested in the “continued outside interference may have been unforeseen” being enumerated
    from your experience Blink.

in the investigation Day 1ff there has been
    1) Internal problems. MCSO had chaotic internal leadership, command & control, and
apparently nonexistant internal accountability. and an internal culture of fear.
    2) external interference.
    a) DAOffice: malignancy (Frink) and the inexperienced, inept, & politicized (the fulltime ADA assigned).
    b) bio 1 and his Counsel litigating the most self-interested of civil cases by hook or mostly crook imo.
    c) bio 2 & spouse (the thing speaks for itself).
    d) freakish followers of c&d, from the new residential readymade family to FB.
    e) the inexperienced imo unstable Judge.

  21. Rose says:

DY should have been outraged all attendees were not assembled for a briefing by LE and informed when K was seen leaving the bldg & with whom, while being given info as to his sightings internally in the bldg or on grounds up to that point, in an effort to jog attendees’ memories and id him. The only conceiveable reason she did not know that had to be done (a managed mtg with all potential witnesses to dig their memories) is that an LE oaf (in my opinion) who was a know-it-all was advising her.

  22. Rose says:

What is known about bio 1 from Wife 1 is she portrayed him as characterologically promiscuous.
Maybe he beded the wrong man’s wife, a man with “connections” who
sought retribution. Why that was not more likely to DY than Terri escapes me.

Agreed, especially as I have been told that individual has never been interviewed by LE.

public disclisure of every dime a candidate gets or spends. I began wondering hiw
one finds out who funded Kantor’s initial campaign.

  26. Rose says:

@Pansy. not Blink who will speak for herself, but Imo Blink does nit divulge her readers, other than Soldier. She shows respect to bios. And there is nothing disclosed here that he does not already know firsthand. So why would he?

Gary Oliva just spent a week at the Gospel Mission here in Medford Oregon. He said that he wanted to go and find his father’s family in Rome, Italy. I know this becuase he shared a bunk with me in the men’s dorm. I shared my encouragment and prayers with him. He told me that he was in trouble with the law in Oregon but prefered to live in the Denver area because he knew peolpe there who would ‘leave hime alone’. His hair was very long and he had a huge mustache about 6-7 inched long. After he checked out I was amazed to find out that he was a suspect in the Ramsey case. You never know who you are talking to these days. Heads up! I have no idea but I do believe that he is in the Grants Pass area of Oregon seeking a place to live. He is still a homeless drifter and is more than likely not going to leave the state before he does his time here…or he may try to leave the country to find solice with his distant family in Italy. Be aware. That’s what I know.

^^IDK, this comment seems to say he was out and about in 2007.

If you look at the signers on SG’s petition most signers are from other states and the signers from Oregon are mostly people who do not live or vote in Multnomah county. Does anyone know if there is even another candidate running against Reeese.

Sadly most Multnomah County residents(and Multnomah County is the smallest county in Oregon) are not that focused on the Kyron Horman case. Plus In a presidential election year most people are more focused on federal election news.

Marshman’s title in the bureau currently is DOJ compliance coordinator. He previously served as a public spokesman and as executive assistant to former Police Chief Mike Reese.”
    Reese’s own man ascends.
Could it get any better for MCSO to Balkanize units of PPB?
The Soldiers & bios have met their match imo.

Where does this turmoil (Chief & 4 Assts, Sheriff) leave Underhill, &
his underling ADAs and criminal cases?
Behind the 8 ball on juror confidence.

Tragic. This is Gregg Townsley’s son.

A couple of years ago, my late son Jared gave me an unusual Christmas gift that got me considering the question, “What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?” The gift wasn’t nearly as important as Jared’s example. A skilled mountaineer and member of the Mazama’s (an elite northwest climbing fraternity), Jared died just after I finished the book, February 6, 2012, while descending Mt. Hood.

Tigard computer engineer Jared Townsley, who loved climbing, dies on Mount Hood

His older brother, Joshua, posted the following message on his Facebook page this morning: “It is with great sadness that we learned this morning that Jared took a tremendous and final fall on Mt Hood. We will miss
him as we know you will. Thank you for all of your prayers.”

Joshua Townsley, who lives in Portland, is executive director of Habitat for Humanity in Vancouver, Wash. His sister, Rachel Stramel of Cornelius, is pastor of the Orenco Presbyterian Church.

Before moving to Oregon in 1994, Jared developed a love of the outdoors growing up in Carson City, Nev., where his family said he would go up and down any hill he could find.

  44. erose says:

    Townsley’s daughter.

When I was about nine years old, my family left the east coast for the Wild West. It was such an unknown for us, as my mom’s family, my dad’s family – all we knew and were familiar with – lived in the East and had their roots there. It was a place of foundation for us, the place my parents grew up and we had been born. But change happens. And for us, this change included a move to Nevada, a change in schools and environments, and a change in church family. My dad, a Presbyterian pastor, was called to a new church.

  45. A Texas Grandfather says:

Don’t lament the lack of a patience gene. No one comes to the world owning such a gene. Patience must be learned over and over and over by experience.

This case because of its players having an agenda that was not about finding Kyron, but hoping to put an end to it quickly by attempting to hang the deed on Terri Horman whether she was guilty or not would try the patience of any truth seeker. I am so glad that they could not succeed. However, they did accomplish turning her life into “hell” by using their authority improperly.

Sometimes my frustration makes me want to take a two by four to several in the courts and LE. This I know is not possible and would not solve anything. What these people need is something that makes them behave themselves. They need to fear the people of Multnomah county will wake up and kick all of them to the curb with some spending time in prison for their bad acts.
