Dr. Phil Show Hosts Missing Portland Child Kyron Horman’s Step Mom Terri Horman Over Two Episodes
I have been covering this case since Kyron Horman disappeared from Skyline School in June, 2010. Like most missing persons cases I have covered in the past, I am of the strong opinion that best efforts at the truth are the only way to propel investigations that, similarly to Kyron’s, have gone cold for one reason or another. This approach has worked in resolving some of my previous cases. I am proud of that. I remain steadfast to the integrity involved in those and future cases.
Over the past 10 months (or so) I have been developing an updated series on Kyron’s case to include my multiple interviews with Kyron’s step-mom, Terri Horman. Needless to say as she was the subject of at least three simultaneous cases before an Oregon court and remains a person of interest by the agency investigating her sons disappearance, this has been an arduous and sometimes delicate journey. Ms. Horman’s experiences during the ongoing investigation of the disappearance of Kyron Horman are critically important to propelling his case and with great hope- finding the truth about what happened to this cherubic and innocent child. There are dozens of sources, collateral interviews, forensic experts and legal analysts that also contribute to my series and have done so because of their belief that my motivation is to bring to light information and opinions in such a way that would almost “require” a focused review of Kyron’s case and the likely shaking of that proverbial tree everyone talks about.
Set to publish about 6-ish weeks ago I was asked to postpone the first installment of the series, which I did. I subsequently learned Ms. Horman was participating in the Dr. Phil program after she completed taping. Dr. Phils producers were well aware that Ms. Horman had interviewed with me extensively, and anticipated my series would be publishing information that was not known to the public previously in the days prior to her scheduled episode. When Ms. Horman conveyed to me that she feels obligated to speak out about “her son” in any national medium that will have her, I most certainly respected that. I still do.
While Dr. Phil seems like a gregarious fellow for sure, I have zero interest in being associated with his program, nor do I believe his shows content is designed to do any furtherance of investigation or truth. There is much concern (although I have no affiliation to the show whatsoever) that the timing of the publication of my series on the Kyron Horman matter might be interpreted differently or inadvertently contribute to the programs content or audience reactions. Not what I signed on for. A missing 7 year old boy six years running is not a framework for entertaining a target audience. He is not fodder for online social media bully campaigns- yet it occurs.
I will be publishing my series on Kyron’s case at a later date, in it’s entirety with no editing adjustments as a result of any of the appearances on Dr. Phil. I appreciate your patience and your understanding. Feel free to discuss the show below.

Her attorney has to ask for a continuance now on the gun thing and show up on the RO prepared without fail.
It is vital to disprove the allegations of the RO FIRST before there is any hearing on the gun charge. Otherwise if the RO is founded it is evidence of biolent tendencies.
The more I look at this, the more imo it was cagily planned by a person with an
excellent kniwledge of CA charges and laws.

Registered mail requires a signature to pick it up at a Post Office. The sender may include a return receipt that is signed.
With the advent of the internet, the postal service is currently keeping track of packages and the delivery of certified and registered mail.
If TH did not receive the registered mail, the service failed and there should be no non-appearance charge or penalty associated with it. If the Post Office allowed someone other than the addressee to pick up and sign for the notification, that persons name should be available.

ATG. I don’t mean to @ you as a reply but merely to riff off your observation of: “Suggestion to TH: Leave the guys alone for a while. Your choices are getting you in trouble.”
While I think it more likely than not, we cannot surmise the RM reporting “gun theft” is male. And, the only reason to think JCristobal is a sexual partner is her social history and his use of the term domestic partner, which we know does not comport with CA law and is slang imo.
At the risk of one sided commentary, I want to opine that we cannot know what the homeless, moneyless, jobless TH is experiencing on the margins of society generally, but I have two cues personally, one from my profession and one from my life.
Professionally for 8 years I assisted persons typical of TH assisting them in obtaining housing, such that I won cash awards and prestigious committee placements. Let me say from the work experience finding housing for others with little income: l) persons offering a “room” for rent are generally themselves those with social and familial problems and are marginally financially functioning. 2) shared housing with similarly situated folks generally has again marginally adjusted people who may be troublesome, troublemakers, or fail with their own needs for jobs, housing, or social adjustment. In fact, the socially adjusted are rare or they would not be there. From personal experience moving to an urban area tho highly educated without a dime, I remember l) an immigrant rapacious “landlord” in a personal home renting “the basement” with a 2 hour two bus and a metro commute to an entry level nonliving wage job. When the car lost the master cylinder and hit a ditch, or I was on the floor dizzy from botulism for 24 hrs, no one to help. then the rapacious landlord a newly married very rich couple from my church taking top dollar on my new job with no furniture even blinds or curtains. again over an hour commute. 3) or the urban shared 3 room apt with in the front room a lesbian (I didn’t know what that was then) displaying herself in a dangerous neighborhood at night lights on such that a juvenile offender stormed her window by night or in the other bedroom the male entertained females continuously. (That is why I think male roommate should not automatically be attributed to her, altho he said he was a DP and he probably was a “partner” loosely). My point is women, even those with a new ostensibly “good” job in need of housing can fall in with all kinds of greedy people whether church goers, alternative lifestyles, or just stupid people. As long as the bio parents of Kyron torment the woman who raised him daily and foment violent people on social media against her, and interfere with her livelihood and housing, she will always be going hand to mouth, and one does not meet “regular” people that way.
I feel she should have stayed in her parents’ home and gone for job retaining and worked with Dept of Voc Rehab and tried for some govt job unless her father asked her to leave town to give an ill elderly mother peace. And I don’t see her father that way. Children can be way too susceptible to peer “support.” she does not need peer support but should seize parent support and Houze’ wise counsel at every turn. I felt she stayed on track when she was under Houze’ influence.

Imo more in his with VIGOR defend the RO first, 2) then defend the gun charge, 3) get office clerical certifications, 4) get a protected job, and 5) probably live in provincial Roseburg as opposed to an urban setting.
At least she has high school compatriots there. 6) avoid anyone with their own financial and social issues of any kind. 7) forget the caregiving stuff until she is financially independent with a large bank account. 8) avoid anyone who suggests her heart should be a caregiver for her sole source of remuneration.

You’re right Blink, you know me. Several reasons for burner phones; crime, buying/selling, dating, online purchases, and being famous. Is the element of her life we are missing tied to these burner phones somehow.
Are burners just for crime?
While burner phones became notorious for criminal use, there are actually several practical reasons to use a number for a limited amount of time instead2 of using your permanent phone number.

As another example- burner phones (not we refer to them as but..) are very common in litigation. Probably all areas of law. Journalism.. especially when accessing private sources or sources speaking on condition of anonymity. Since I am aware that MCSO was still accessing TH phone records I also have no doubt she was advised through counsel for use as well. I personally have no issues with the “burner” phone. I was asked to turn off my iwatch in a proceeding 2 weeks ago where cell phones were not permitted ftlog, lol.

Talked to Law Enforcement about what? Weird thing to say on this guys part. It would be interesting to know when (the date) TH supposedly threatened this guy.
If TH needs to show up for both hearings at the same time and if she does not show up for the RO then won’t this guy automatically get a RO against her.
Yes, if she does not show it is likely the TRO would be granted, but not automatically. I have not had time to look up statute on this, but it looks like if it was filed on Monday Nov 28th, the 2 week automatic grant would put that hearing on 12/12, not 12/16. I have not seen anyone reference her in court on that matter, so my guess is she was not served in time to defend it OR through victims advocacy she got an emergency TRO. There are no charges pending against her for his allegations which means the statute does not allow an automatic filing or grant. If this individual works with her a TRO would apply to the employer location potentially as well.
I need to correct my dates from a previous post- the last docket annotation for the Yuba matter was Nov 17th, (status) not November 27 .
Am I missing an audible recording of this complainant? I have only seen quotes.

In this, Kyle’s primary story, first he elaborates the incident in JC’s words but it sounds to me like he’s quoting the RO words. At the end he says he’s spoken by phone to JC directly who told him he’d been in touch by phone with both CA and Oregon police. So one guess who coached him thru that RO–whoever he called at mcso.

It sounds like her cohabitor learned of her role in the case, drank the Soldier koolaid, and told TH he was calling CA and OR police to inform them of her whereabouts and employment. If he told her he was doing that in the kitchen, and she was chopping onions, what’d he expect? He cited no police report in the RO application. So imo his announcement he was gonna call OR LE out of whatever misguided impukse for whatever purpose apparently provoked her reaction. These rehab jobs she choses guarantees her work associates will be uneducated (and maybe desirous of $ from talk show interviews).

She had her teachers cert until it lapsed after she left her parents abode, don’t think it would be that difficult to reinstate. I still think that could be a viable option for her. Good point about the “trying”. That whole statement is confusing to me. When I first read that, I took it as TMH did not want him talking to LE (about whatever….perhaps her gun possession), because something would happen to her and her family. But then I read it again and it sounds like he’s saying TMH told him if he talked to LE, something would happen to him and his family (i.e., at her hands?).
It’s not clear to me at all what actually transpired, will wait for court.
I’m with Bumble, and feel like something is missing here. To this day I still wonder if TMH was running drugs in her spare soccer-mom time and somehow messed that up and was threatened that something would now happen to her family, and it did, it happened to Kyron. Thus, she let the vampire in, but has no idea where Kyron is or what happened to him.
I don’t know how any of this would help find Kyron, but I hope somehow it does.

thinking of something DeDe said in her interview, ATG, there seems a real continuity between the CA associate choices and preabduction associate choices. DeDe said the Hockensmiths snd Hormans never crossed paths due to different socioeconomic strata, and they had kids in private not Skyline. Lots of middle and lower socioeconomic families have their kids in fine private and flexibly integrate into various socioeco circles. It seems a matter of choice. or many move to hillsboro or lake oswego for publics.
So I thought of those Skyline circles. Kurtis and Tanner both had very troubled individuals in their immediate families with real legal charges. Kaine ran with steroid users and allegedly was promiscuous repeatedly. His family had troubles ditto — Kristian and Topher’s famiky troubles the latter due to war injuries, and he tried to engage a mother he’d been cut off from by dad. all those marriages; all that acrimony–on the part of every adult in kyron’s life. Imo CA choices are a continuation of preabduction social circle choices apparently by both Hormans.

The kitchen knife accusation sound like a bunch of BS. I don’t see how this guy could prove that TH threatened him with a kitchen knife. He will say she did she probably will say she didn’t.
Unless:
He taped her threats or has a witness
He called 911 right away because he feared for his life
He has or had some kind of a documented(a trip to the ER) injury which he could prove was caused by TH
The gun theft was a misdemeanor that might result in a fine. The threat sounds phony. Doxy boy is going to have to do better then that if he thinks the MCSO DA is going to go after TH.

I see shades of DY, KR and TY behind the threat thing in cahoots with Kyle. What happens to these people (legally) if anything if it is proven that the above people had a hand in the threat/RO accusation.
I dont believe DY knew the first thing about it until it was reported.

I understand where you are coming from regarding the choice of residence. It can happen to anyone. I remember my mother working with a single mom who had a teen age son. This woman accidentally rented a small apt. in a building that was principally used by prostitutes. She found out the first evening they were in the new apt.
The concept of a gun safe that may have contained more than one firearm indicates to me that the person making the charges was not exactly without a reasonable amount of income. A good handgun only safe is $300.00 or more and then there is the contents including ammunition.
There is,in my opinion, an attorney who wants to make a name for themselves behind this whole thing with the gun and the knife. It is too tightly woven to be otherwise.

Adoptive females can be very vulnerable about roots, and esp long for siblings.
It is possible when the gun complaint appeared to go nowhere, Terri’s cohabitor was informed by whoever of both “the kyron case” and “the missing gun,” and led to be alarmed and frightened and guided to file the RO, despite no police report and her departure rendering him “safe.”.
I take my cue from kyle who said he’d spoken to joseph who told
him he had spoken to both ca and or police. So timing is he very well
coukd’ve spoken to mcso prior to filing the RO.
Someone prompted joseph to make those calls and imo
gave him the phone no to mcso, I have no doubt. He is likely

Occam’s razor–simplest explanation.
He learned she was a suspect in kyron’s disappearance. (from ?)
He felt uncomfortable about her 2-phone system.
He wanted more and independent info.
He told her he was going to call OR LE and CA LE for more info,
She panicked at that prospect.
She moved out.
He called mcso and predictably was coached thru the RO.
I am not prepared to say MCSO would coach an out of state citizen on the filing of a TRO in their state. It would not surprise me to learn he was somehow contacted for an interview. I would have an extremely difficult time believing a co worker turned paramour had no idea who TMH was, if that is his story.

Sgt (still, after years) Krafve, head of mcso Detectives, has over a decade of published history (ie in WW) of manufacturing stings and ruses to prove out his gut opinions or just convict someone even the wrong person.
Imo there doesn’t need to be any issue for him to attempt to set up yet another sting or
entrapment with yet another roommate of Terri.
There certainly does if it is crossing state lines, absolutely.

Apparently if Terri met a deputy at the door, wearing only shorts so no weapon of any kind was visible and screamed at said deputy not to enter her home–no permission–because she screamed and got agitated, he could shoot her dead on her own property. Tamara = a deputy defense witness (tho he was there alone).

I think this guy lived with TH and knew all about her troubles with DY and the hater crater. TH for what ever reason ended the relationship or was going to end the relationship. JC was mad at TH for dumping him so he got in touch with the SG world soldier page for revenge. I am sure SG called DY for direction in the matter and he was told if he could to file an RO against TH and get her in court to do it.
