Dr. Phil Show Hosts Missing Portland Child Kyron Horman’s Step Mom Terri Horman Over Two Episodes

I have been covering this case since Kyron Horman disappeared from Skyline School in June, 2010.    Like most missing persons cases I have covered in the past,  I am of the strong opinion that best efforts at the truth are the only way to propel investigations that, similarly to Kyron’s, have gone cold for one reason or another.   This approach has worked in resolving some of my previous cases.    I am proud of that.  I remain steadfast to the integrity involved in those and future cases.

Over the past 10 months (or so) I have been developing an updated series on Kyron’s case to include my multiple interviews with Kyron’s step-mom,  Terri Horman.   Needless to say as she was the subject of at least three simultaneous cases before an Oregon court and remains a person of interest by the agency investigating her sons disappearance, this has been an arduous and sometimes delicate journey.    Ms. Horman’s experiences during the ongoing investigation of the disappearance of Kyron Horman are critically important to propelling his case and with great hope- finding the truth about what happened to this cherubic and innocent child.    There are dozens of sources,  collateral interviews, forensic experts and legal analysts that also contribute to my series and have done so because of their belief that my motivation is to bring to light information and opinions in such a way that would almost “require” a focused review of Kyron’s case and the likely shaking of that proverbial tree everyone talks about.

Set to publish about 6-ish weeks ago I was asked to postpone the first installment of the series, which I did.  I subsequently learned Ms. Horman was participating in the Dr. Phil program after she completed taping.  Dr. Phils producers were well aware that Ms. Horman had interviewed with me extensively, and anticipated my series would be publishing information that was not known to the public previously in the days prior to her scheduled episode.    When Ms. Horman conveyed to me that she feels obligated to speak out about “her son” in any national medium that will have her,   I most certainly respected that.  I still do.

While Dr. Phil seems like a gregarious fellow for sure,   I have zero interest in being associated with his program, nor do I believe his shows content is designed to do any furtherance of investigation or truth.  There is much concern (although I have no affiliation to the show whatsoever) that the timing of the publication of my series on the Kyron Horman matter might be interpreted differently or inadvertently contribute to the programs content or audience reactions.     Not what I signed on for.   A missing 7 year old boy six years running is not a framework for entertaining a target audience.   He is not fodder for online social media bully campaigns- yet it occurs.

I will be publishing my series on Kyron’s case at a later date, in it’s entirety with no editing adjustments as a result of any of the appearances on Dr. Phil.   I appreciate your patience and your understanding.   Feel free to discuss the show below.

Your link to the appeal decision is all about keeping investigative reporters from viewing any portion of the files.

Unlike what happened in Georgia regarding the Tara Grinstead case, where the GBI allowed the files to be examined by the film maker/sleuth which lead to solving the crime, Multnomah County wants to keep their material secrete for as long as they can.

This raises a big question that goes well beyond competence. It lends itself to nothing more than a Cover up by the Criminal Justice system.

If they really wanted to solve the case, a fresh pair of eyes could look at their evidence and perhaps see a different path that could lead to solving.

If one remembers the Malvoe case of the shooters in the DC area. The police chief was from Portland. It took them weeks to solve the case because the chief believed the perps were traveling in a white van rather than the modified sedan with the gun port in the trunk. The white van became the most important clue and countless man-hours were wasted in trying to find it.

I believe that the 1990 guy in the bushes is nothing more than fiction created by the boy friend of TM to make himself be important.

I also think that a lot of the troubles TM has is California is caused by the Multnomah County people reaching across state lines to continue their punishment. The only way to fix this is to get the evidence into a court and prove what actually happened. While it may temporarily cause trouble, it may be the way to get an out of control criminal justice system to cease its illegal work.

I studied that case directly under the FBI agents assigned to it and I can tell you as a point of fact that FBI’s profiling strategy and ongoing case investigation relies on a targeted subject use of the media to involve public lead generation among other actions. We know this also happened in Kyron’s case but I don’t know if MCSO utilized FBI strategy or Norm Frinks. I doubt highly it was the FBI’s because I believe they were of the opinion once it was shared that SZ was last seen with Kyron the CART strategy would have been to release a description and timeline. That said, I also know many LEA’s were not told of SZ existence in the first place as well as the fact that it was physically impossible for Kyron to have left with Terri.

MCSO is just building an MO for Terri they can use in court ultimately, in some manner. Do they ever really need to identify or admit to SZ investigatively upfront? Hell to the no. She solicits dudes to do stuff and in this particular endeavor they don’t know who he is. Not rocket science and substantiates the millions they have spent on one single suspect who was recorded on CCTV 12 mi away when Kyron was still in school.

If I were a more cynical person, I might infer from this latest cacophony that someone has reviewed the means tests for malicious prosecution (or other) torts a district attorney/LEA does not enjoy absolute immunity from. They don’t stock those jars of probable cause like they used to.

I hate to lay this out so simply, but I have a simple mind. I know you’ve all thought about this and been through this, but I wanted to put it out there again. Who could have taken Kyron?

    1. One of the parents could have a connection to the unidentified man and could have hired them to take Kyron. Why would they do that? D – I have no idea. T – to punish Kaine. K – concerned about Kyron going to the doctor (there is always the possibility that those molested become molesters, or to hide him away if he’s concerned about his safety due to the steroid fiasco). I don’t want to believe the parents are involved, but can’t rule any of it out because we don’t know the identify of the unidentified male last seen with Kyron.

    2. A complete stranger…just walked in off the street and got lucky…was not concerned in the least about asking a teacher to let Kyron help him bring things in. Was after any boy, not necessarily Kyron. After all, worse case scenario for the stranger is the teacher says no. This one is a long shot for me, but I guess anything is possible.

    3. Someone working at the school (teacher, bus driver, electrician, etc.) that was familiar with Kyron hired someone to get Kyron out of the school. I don’t know who that would be, but there had to be some reason why Kyron had started acting spacey. I always wondered about a bus drivers attendance at the science fair. I understand some people are just nice or curious, but to me it was a little odd if, and that’s a big IF, the bus driver didn’t have children attending the school. Do the bus drivers at this school normally attend these activities? Just thinking out loud here….

    4. Someone connected to Kaine thru the steroid fiasco. To me this seems the most logical. With LE also being connected to the steroid fiasco it would almost make since why LE may not be trying to advance the case and wants to keep the focus on Terri (and perhaps away from one of their own). After all, they look bad enough already.

And it’s possible that the unidentified man was hired to just remove Kyron from the school then hand him over to someone else. Who could have hired him?

    1. Any of the parents.

    2. Someone familiar to Kyron thru the school (teacher, bus driver, etc.).

    3. A member of LE or another connection to the steroid fiasco as punishment to Kaine.

So much lost time. The truth about what happened to this poor child may never be known. So, to anyone that wants to offer an opinion, which option do you lean towards? For me, I think I’m leaning towards the steroid connection.

Correcting my correction, I guess it was an appeal for a turned down FOI request. But, what’s not making sense to me is when I go to MCDA’s record request site, I don’t see KGW’s request listed in the first place. (I’ll check again today, but it wasn’t there the other day.) So I guess my question is, from where did KGW/Kyle request the records in the first place? And if it was from MCSO and not MCDA, wherein does this “conflict of interest” lie? Is it between MCSO and MCDA, so the County attorney was brought in as sort of mediator and then forwarded to Clackamas County?

I still don’t see a request for the info here, so where did Kyle go to request one?:

Portland Public Schools quietly settles costly employment dispute

Theresa Seeley, a longtime child psychologist with Portland Public Schools, enjoys an unusual distinction. Slender and 53 with dusty blonde hair, Seeley has drawn a paycheck from Oregon’s largest school district since the late 1990s. But from October 2013 to January 2017, she performed no work.

During the three-plus-years period, the district spent $180,000 on outside legal fees as part of its effort to discipline Seeley, after the Portland Public Schools Board voted in March 2013 to fire her. It also paid her annual salary of nearly $80,000 for at least 24 of the 39 months she didn’t work. District officials have refused to say whether she was paid for the additional 15 months, despite a March 20 order from the Multnomah County district attorney that they do so.

I have to commend Blink for her perfect score on the Bengazi work. Not surprised at all in learning of that score, and proud for her. She has shown us time after time, the quality of her work.

Having said that, it is time that all of us recognize that the United States Constitution did Not set up a Democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic that uses democratic processes to elect those who work for the people in all levels of our government.

The very first government after the Declaration of Independence was the Articles of Confederation which did set up a democracy. It failed as all democracies do when they have to try and govern something larger than a small community. This failure almost cost us the time to actually build a founding document of the type that saved us in 1787.

The socialists are the ones who have promoted the use of the word democracy in order to make the people believe in their agenda. This is the work of John Dewey and the Frankfort school of socialism that began in Germany. When the German’s kicked them out, Dewey and his people moved them to the school of education at Columbia University.

The pledge of allegiance tells us what our government is each time we say it: “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of American and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands…..”

@Tarheel. Agree with layout. One other category would be SZ is connected to a parent but not hired.
Revenge or some animus motive. ie tony from one of his imprisoned criminals. Desiree due to her murky past — disaffected former bf maybe? or what was she in a WA treatment site for? Kaine – steroid criminal system, husband or jealous bf of a mistress?. Terri – likely she had her enemies. Husbands 1 and 2 were not her friends & 2 had good reason for grudge. That said: a criminal system that was threatened (steroid stuff) stands out as you say, along with those on site floating thru school, ie the Bonneville power folks & their subs doing the work. 3 main office sites just north in So Wash.

  22. erose says:

Tarheel, I have fluctuated back and forth on every scenario you presented.

snip> 1. One of the parents could have a connection to the unidentified man and could have hired them to take Kyron.

If this is true, then I would focus on KH. He is the only one who even has a semblance of winning out of all of this, ie. the divorce, sole custody and marital assets. Prior to Kyron going missing, if he were contemplating a divorce from TH, he may have thought DY would have regained custody of Kyron and TH would have custody of k. I think that is a strong motivation, but I would expect Kyron is alive and well in another country.

snip> 2. A complete stranger…just walked in off the street and got lucky…

Right now I favor this scenario the most since in 7 years we have not one iota of a leak that anything else happened, which leads me to believe it was one lone person and no one else involved.

snip> 3. Someone working at the school

Anyone known at the school would be probably identifiable. I do wonder if someone connected to a teacher (say an adult son) knew about the SF and was an opportunist and the teacher, in denial about their son’s sickness, would not want to admit their son was at school that day.

snip> 4. Someone connected to Kaine thru the steroid fiasco.

Once my fav theory, I think this was a side issue, but gave KH a connection to certain LEO’s that worked to his favor, and of course TY was their brother, and DY was miles away, so that left TH of the parents, and statistically a missing child is usually victimized by someone in the family.

I do think that it’s possible that a LEO with an awareness of TH calling the cops on KH’s steroid use could have seized the opportunity to victimize a child of a family that he knew would be pointing fingers at each other.

I wanted to invite discussion of Tarheel’s very well-heeled post (see what I did there?) without any influence from me before I responded. Y’all already know that I have never been able to exclude the possibility this is connected to one of the parents tangentially. I do not believe ANY of them were involved directly or have direct knowledge of Kyron’s whereabouts but similarly, I would offer that as my opinion, not verified fact. That said, while it cannot be excluded, in my view it is more “likely” than a stranger/opportunistic offender.

While more likely, unfortunately, I am of the opinion the factors present indicate this was indeed an opportunistic offender who has not yet been identified. I say not identified but the stats would be on my side that he may have been interviewed early and dismissed. When this case is resolved, I do believe his post offense behavior should have implicated him quickly- had anyone bothered to alert the public as to what to look for.

So.. circling back to the discussion of “if it is related tangentially to one of the parents- on paper… Terri absolutely deserved the initial scrutiny (not the bs tactics and persecution) but Kaine comes in at a very close second if not on equal footing. Long ago I discovered a possible link between the FBI steroid arrest timeline and members of LE- over three years before I EVER suspected Kaine was involved with steroid purchase/use and it is undisputed that direct contacts of his were subsequently arrested. I am as perplexed as the next person, folks.

ps- thank you erose for letting my tail on your thoughts- which I agree with, btw.

  24. T. Ruth says:

    @Tarheel

I too have a simple mind. Personally, I think Kyron was not taken at random. I think he was being molested/groomed by someone, thus the strange behaviors leading to a doctor appointment. I further think that whomever took him was either the person who was molesting him, and/or that person hired/coerced someone (held something over them, perhaps knowledge of the same type of behavior?)to remove him from the school.

If I am correct, then the person who had been molesting him, somehow found out about the upcoming Dr. appointment and knew he/she had to act quickly, and the science fair venue and chaos was the chosen opportunity for his abduction.

If I am correct, then the molester was someone Kyron knew, although the actual abductor may have been a stranger to him.

Whomever abducted this child, must have appeared very normal-looking and trustworthy to get the nod from EM. (IOW, I don’t think EM would have given permission to some long-haired, pock-marked meth-head, e.g. Adam Brown.) I would love to have at least some sort of general description of this person. All we know now is; it was a male. We don’t even know the age group, he would be categorized in.

So, who could have been abusing Kyron? Geeze, today’s headlines tell us it could have been ANYONE. Most likely a male, but even that is questionable. Any relative, any of their friends, teachers, another student’s parent/sibling, older student himself, preachers, boy scout leaders, police, firemen, etc., etc., etc. Could be anyone Kyron ever spent alone-time with.

I hope and pray to this day, that LE looked as closely to ALL of Kyron’s immediate circle of people who knew him, as well as they have TMH.

I have felt this way since I first read the TMH email about the doctor appointment. Then I further felt this way as I looked at Kyron’s photos through the years. (Seemed to me to be getting thinner as time went on, did he develop some sort of eating disorder?) Then when DY mentioned the bed-wetting starting again, I took that as another possible sign of some sort of stress on this child, perhaps a result of molestation. Finally, in TMH’s most recent interview, she mentioned yet more odd behavior of a sexual nature for a seven year-old.

So until I know otherwise, I think this for me is the most likely scenario. I cannot see anyone seeking revenge on someone (roid issue, for example) taking another person’s child away, but I guess it’s possible.

My second choice, though not nearly as likely to me, is random sexual predator. These two possibilities are the most likely, though I weigh heavily on the molestation/grooming going on. Simply makes the most sense based on what little I know, which ain’t much.

T.Ruth- I wanted to acknowledge that I too give great weight to Kyron’s victimology. I completely agree that it is possible that Kyron’s behavioral cues were based on symptoms from “something”. The one thing I struggle with in terms of assessing victimology in that regard is because Kyron was never out of the custody of a parent in a circumstance that might lend itself to the possibility of abuse that was otherwise unreported by him. SO if this WAS a factor, and again, I can’t exclude it, than the only scenarios where that is possible I am aware of would be school or home environment.

I can say I am unaware of any sexual abuser scheduling an evaluation of their child to rule that out as a root cause for behavioral manifestations in any case I have ever studied. When I was able to confirm the existence of Kyron’s doctor appointment I must admit it significantly elevated my priority of it as a possible stimulus for his abduction. That said, if that is correct, it still leaves us with an unidentified person not tied to any person to date.

Oye vey that woman is unstable. All I can say emphatically is that nobody in LE nor the DA’s office believe Spicher was involved or had/has any information regarding Kyron’s disappearance and Green could not be more out of the loop. Desiree has not so much as mentioned Spicher again in almost 2 years nor will she- and I quote: “Ms. Spicher was never, at any time, a suspect of anything in the disappearance of Kyron Horman, period.”

was he old enough to spend the night with friends?
thinking of the boy next door. isn’t that who they bowled with
the preceding Sunday, who had a dysfunctional older brother?

He did not. I believe you are confusing Tanner Pumala with Curtis Holm (pictured next to Kyron day of Science Fair with less detailed Red Tree Frog project). As you know both Avery Villareal (last name of Holm partner and Father deceased)and his Mother Kim have had legal entanglements since Kyron’s disappearance. Ms. Holm ultimately had her volunteer creds revoked. Tanner was being raised by his grandparents who had primary custody of him. I am told that Kyron’s enuresis was being treated at home as one reason he would not be apt to attend sleepovers and his overnights away from Portland were at Mom’s or in Mom’s care (some camping trips and Aunt’s house). Just a note here that when Kaine mentioned he was restricted to his bed until Terri came to his room in the morning it was for 2 reasons- 1. Kaine was usually at the gym at this time. 2. It was part of the Ped supervised enuresis treatment.

Terri spent a fair amount of time at Skyline as a parent volunteer and by all accounts was very active on a nearly daily basis with Ms. Porter and/or various other school related folks (sports/PTA/fundraisers/chaperones). It is noteworthy also that to my knowledge, very few folks outside of teachers Kyron had, very few were aware Terri was not Kyron’s bio Mom. We all know what the mandatory reporting requirements are- so as you can see, not impossible, but in this scenario as a victimology profile kids with this kind of restricted access and constant observation severely limits any opportunity offenses (such as those being contemplated) for them to be “out of care”- the kid did not even wait for the bus or get off the bus by himself at the foot of his driveway. As a protocol issue, when we profile a kids risk assessment under all the conditions we mentioned, it is very low. Add to that Terri had alerted the school as to her concerns, asked for feedback and scheduled an evaluation. This is not a mundschausen issue although I have heard Kaine allude to that abstractly. Seriously.

The timing on this is critical for a variety of reasons, NOT the least of which is (according to my sources), that appointment was scheduled for June 11 during Kitty’s impromptu appointment June 3rd. Neither Kaine nor Desiree was made aware of it until AFTER Kyron went missing. Kyron was not aware.

Long way around here (but not for the sake of verbosity- facts matter in context) from an investigatory perspective, we have a troubled marriage where discussions of divorce followed the displacement of one child to a grandparents home months earlier. We have BOTH Terri and Desiree admitting they were in concert at the time for Kyron to spend more time with his bio Mom, potentially to alter custody. If I just examine those 2 factors someone had better explain how LE primary motivation (as stated by the DA) was that siblings in the home influences custody awards. Because Terri must not have been aware of that or I presume James never leaves.

In my view, I see little to no access for offense outside of the home environment/family.

I don’t know what went on in that house. Neither does she. Neither do we. I do think there is enough evidence to investigate the possibility of abuse and for the life of me, I still do not understand how that does not trigger a CPS inquiry. There is a reason cps exists independent of LE. Look at the giant mess rn with Houze last acquitted client?

“The timing on this is critical for a variety of reasons, NOT the least of which is (according to my sources), that appointment was scheduled for June 11 during Kitty’s impromptu appointment June 3rd. Neither Kaine nor Desiree was made aware of it until AFTER Kyron went missing. Kyron was not aware. ”

    ***********
So as far as who knew about the upcoming Dr. appointment, it was only between TMH and the school, Porter and ???? (and of course the Dr. & office personnel).
No one else knew about it? Did TMH mention to you, WHY she did not tell her husband, and/or DY about it? One would think she would have at least mentioned it to her husband the evening of the 3rd.

The appointment was made on June 3rd during Kitty’s Dr. appointment? I didn’t realize Kitty had an appointment the day before TMH was looking for specific medication, makes me wonder why she didn’t look for it on the 3rd. When did TMH give Porter the papers for evaluation? Did she go directly to the school after Kitty’s Dr. appointment on the 3rd? Or did she pick up Kyron from school on the 3rd and at that time give Porter the paperwork from the Dr.?

I’m beginning to forget some other facts, like which day was the project brought “in” to the school? Wasn’t that on the 3rd as well?

Also wondering, did Kyron ever spend time over at his brother’s house?

    1. She had some left in her diaper bag so she did not need it on the 3rd, what she was looking for on the 4th to replace it was pulled from the shelves due to a recall. I confirmed this through the manu directly as well as statement from Fred Meyer Pharmacy.
    2. Project dropped off in the am on the 3rd, Kyron returned on the bus.
    3. There were no evaluation papers given to Porter, I corrected my error on that when I learned differently but who can keep all this straight anymore, really, lol. Terri advised Ms. Porter of Kyron’s appointment and asked her to email her observations accordingly.
    3. Do you mean at the McCulloughs? (Kyron stay over at his brothers)
    4. I can’t adequately answer the question about why Kaine was not told the night of the 3rd except to say Kaine was gone for a company dinner, returned after 9:30 PM and then played xbox upon return- no real oppty I suppose. That is not to say I don’t have reservations overall about Terri’s propensity to keep secrets or in some instances withhold the truth (RSE). I do.

@Venetia. Tim Reifsteck is at all the pta mtgs (& even took minutes last yr). Retired Intel engineer, resume similar to Kaine? Auction committee etc. Wife attended Sci Fr alone. She’s on site often: Mathews room parent, Lit cr weekly for Dunn. I posted urls with this info. ”
    http://blinkoncrime.com/2012/09/11/kyron-horman-disappearance-series-part-i-desiree-young-v-terri-horman-civil-as-an-oxymoron/comment-page-21/

This comment of mine concerning the Reifsteck pta and school activities appears to relate to school year 2011-12; I do not recall if it included 09-10. Amazed to see she was a Mathews room parent and sorry I didn’t document the year (probably 11-12). After volunteering there, she has been school librarian for a few. Interesting Tim was not on the list, he’s so school involved. One wonders the curcumstances of his Intel retirement and if he ever worked with KH. Many retirements were not voluntary then, and he had a small child. The other pta leader (pres) working at Skyline for a few as IT is J Griffiths.

It makes sense to me for a librarian and IT staff members to start a special project of image (video and still) archieving of Skyline events by year and event dating back to say Fall 2009. They have the contact info via directories for all parents and teachers per year. They could start with calendar year 2009-10 listing 5-6 special major yearly events to call for images labeled by date and event to be ssnt back, have an excel spreadsheet to track responding and nonresponding families and staff, and move on by school year one by one. If images are sought for an “impirtant historical archieve” of Skyline that is broad, they are more likely to build a file of the SF. Then it will be archieved if LE ever wants to look. And since it’s a multitear historicalproject done by the librarian and IT (call it a committee and put jie keefer on there), can’t threaten PPS. And get a history intern from Reed to do the cataloguing.
Onky remains to persuade Het and Carol. and Tim the pta Notetaker.

  32. Rose says:

    Jet, not Het

  33. Rose says:

ot Poor David Wood; he lacked the Admin support he needed and how he handled it seems to have been routine in PPS. So why did Looez let him go rather than facesaving “retraining”?
It’s a reminder Ben Keefer’s followup Wood was experienced in Adult & HS Ed, not K-8 and had never been a principal or even an Asst Prin. Keefer had to put in a few years as principal in training & Asst Principal at Skyline to get the job. When Wood left Skyline, it was for his first Asst Principal job. Other than being Very Nice, he seems to have been an out of the ordinary match as Interim Skyline Principal. And even having an Interim for a year was odd. PPS knew they were moving Keefer.

I wish his Skyline librarian wife woukd take on the historical event project at Skyline.

  36. A Texas Grandfather says:

Looking at the bed wetting problem with Kyron. He was just 7 and a very small physical size at that age. It is not uncommon for some children to continue to wet the bed up to age 7 and beyond. This happens more with boys than girls. Potty training for girls is often less than half the time it takes with boys as I learned from experience. Girls want to stay dry one they find the solution, whereas boys don’t seem to be bothered.

There is a connection from the bladder to the brain that must be built over a period of time that causes one to wake if the bladder is full. This takes longer with some children than others. This is especially true if a child has a blood sugar problem that goes unnoticed by parents. Diabetic or pre-diabetic children produce more water at night as the body tries to flush sugar out of the system.

Bed wetting that is finally controlled, can be reactivated if a stressful situation develops in the home or it can extend the time it takes for the child to overcome the problem.

None of us know if bed-wetting was a problem by heredity in the family of Horman or the bio mother. Scientists have found a DNA connection to the slow or lack of a neural connection between the bladder and brain.

I had a second cousin who had a problem of occasionally wetting the bed as late a 14 years. He lived in a quality home where the mother did not work and the father was a very successful businessman. Fourteen at that time was the beginning year of high school.

All good points, than you ATG. Bottom line is there is no diagnostic value in Kyron’s enuresis as to root cause and that includes as a manifestation of stress/trauma.
    B

  37. Rose says:

Good points ATG. I have known young grade K-2 boys and girls with this issue. Their parents were usually referred to urologists, when the pediatrician was competent, for a proper work up rather than a know it all-treat it all type. In my experience of kids it boils down to low motor tone (therefore the issue crosses all settings & is 24 hr, attentional issues (therefore more likely at school), or physically structural (the girls) which again occurs across settings and times. Kyron was lucky to have Terri in his corner and I bet if she had med custody he’d have been at a urologist’s. Father implied Munchhausen? He knew little about kids then and cared less about med workups. Bladder control failure is humiliating in the school setting to lads.

  38. Rose says:

re “Kaine was gone for a company dinner, returned after 9:30 PM and then played xbox upon return- no real oppty I suppose.” …..not to mention the early am gym and more?
This man SURE got his money’s worth in childcare from Terri day by day. And her litigation savings and child support for James. By marrying her, he didn’t have to pay her for all that banysitting and meal prep forkids, medical andschool monitoring. Post partum depression? She shoulda been all but suicidal living with this opportunist all along.

  40. T. Ruth says:

Speaking of photos, rose, TMH mentioned in one of her facebook posts that she had given photos she’d taken at a student event Kyron was in, I’m thinking it was in May 2010(?) over-sized white shirt, where he’s whistling, and gave them IIRC to Keefer at his request. So that could be a starting point. Where are those photos now? Where did they go from Keefer? I think one of them ended up in Porter’s hands, because at one point she had a photo of Kyron in the same shirt on her FB page (very limited time frame, iirc, it was there one day and gone the next).

We also know there were photos of the clean-up garden day that was held at Skyline the year prior, not sure of the time period. Where are all those photos and who is making sure they are not being disseminated and why?

Seems to me, if LE, after 7 years of investigation, can’t bring an answer to the public and particularly to the residents of Skyline area of what happened to this little boy, then the residents should get together and do whatever they can to further this investigation. Is it just easier for all of them to tell themselves TMH did it, even after LE cannot put her or anyone connected to her at that school at the time when Kyron was abducted? IDK, it’s ludicrous to me that the Skyline community and school personnel don’t demand answers.

Further, speaking of photos, was TMH able to confirm whether or not that photo with the dude who looked like Logan Storm helping Kyron with the fishing game was taken at Skyline Elementary and when?

Sorry, yes that was my question, his half brother’s home in Portland, did he hang out there with Q’s paternal family? Or any stay overs?
    *******

When (the 3rd, or morning of the 4th?) did Terri advise Ms Porter and how so? Verbally in person, via phone, via email?

    1. Actually, Q and James were close I am told. Q has two young sisters as I understand it so Q spent more time at the Horman home than the other way around. To my knowledge, Kyron never stayed over there. It is my understanding from more than a few sources that the McCulloughs and the Hormans had a friendly relationship.

    2. Now I need to check on my notes as to the exact exchange but I know it was verbal.

In looking at your linkedin link for the electrical engineer. He graduated from SMU at Dallas in 1976. Depending on how advanced the EE department of the school of engineering was at the time, would indicate that he may have had quite a bit of electronics in his courses. This was an early time where a lot of new things were going on regarding designing and building complex chips. This also extended into the design and building of chip equipment and facilities.

Most of the microprocessors of that time were 8-bit machines with only two or three instances of 16-bit designs. Several of the designs were spread across two or three chips. This was certainly better than a cpu built from small scale integrated circuits on a large 12″x15″ circuit board as were many of the mini-computer designs of the time.

A lot of the problems in not keeping people employed through the total vesting period has to do with the accountants who look at dollars versus knowledge and productivity along with real leadership. This is often penny wise and pound foolish for the company.

  44. Both. Statistically and because it is my belief she had verified occasions where she was untruthful. Nothing that ever rose to complicity , and so did other parents, but hers seemed to be biggies.

  45. Rose says:

to ever be of use to LE, for the abduction or any other crime, that’s why I think it would be good to have an historical digital archieve by events and by year housed in a “government” entity (Skyline School) assembled by and under the control of a staff “committee” consisting of the IT, the Librarian, another staffer, and say a past pta pres/volunteer. This sort of project could be assisted by a volunteer like Reifsteck’s pta notetaking Intel retiree husband and say a college intern. public Schools only seem to think of class pictures in yearbook style. An historical event library would aid future principals, staff, and volunteers and be available to enhance future reunions and be of use in alum giving solicitations to the school Foundation.

  46. Rose says:

I suppose once in Roseburg, and Q moved to Medford, J was
