Caylee/Casey Case: Dominic Casey Takes Stand in Zenaida Gonzalez Case

Orlando, FL– Dominic Casey, private investigator for Casey Anthony and George and Cindy Anthony, took the stand today in the civil case against Casey for Zenaida Gonzalez.

Uhoh. Motion Denied without prejudice to compel Dominick Casey to testify in the civil case against Casey Anthony.

Dominic casey

However, we have some discrepancies from Mr. Casey. In his interview on January 7, 2009 with Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Dominic Casey states he has contracts with George, Cindy, Jose Baez and Casey Anthony.

These are the dates given:

Jose Baez– July 29, 2008, terminated by Dominic on October 1, 2008.

Casey Anthony– September 12, 2008

The Anthony’ s– “sometime before the contract and after Jose Baez.” Once Baez blocked contact with Casey after October 12.

For reasons unknown, on the stand today, he gave these dates:

Jose Baez– July 27, 2008 to present.

Casey Anthony– “sometime in early September”

George and Cindy Anthony’s– July 27th, but agreement in October.

HEH?

The discrepancies beg the question.. Is it a coincidence that the agreement with Jose Baez is dated the same day as the opening of the first trust account at Sun Trust Bank, and the agreement with Casey directly is dated the day it was closed by the bank on September 12?

Judge Rodriguez also intimated he will be making a decision on whether to delay the trial until after the murder trial much sooner than expected.

Prediction: The Civil Case will be put on the back burner.

Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Padilla Interviews Released Today

Orlando, FL– In the latest blow to the defense team dealt this week, The interview recordings of Leonard Padilla, Tracy Mclaughlin, Rob Dick  and bail bondsman Tony Padilla are set to be released today.

Padilla and his team met with Agent Nick Savage of the FBI and a member of the Orange County Sheriffs Office in their home town of Sacramento, California last Fall.

Lead Investigator Corporal Detective Yuri Melich was slated to make the trip to interview the bondsquad personally, but was injured the morning of his flight in a motorcycle accident.

Jose Baez and the defense team for Casey Anthony argued to keep the Padillas et al out of the witness box alleging their was an “agency” established between he and the group, which would render their testimony work product and privileged. Not only did Judge Stan Strickland say in open court that he had never seen such a motion; he denied it entirely.

Tony Padilla, through Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick, alleges that the agreement contained in the defense motion was not even the agreement signed by him in the first place. Ms. Burdick requested the originals of the agreement in question; it is unknown at this time if they have been turned over.

The recordings will be added to blinkoncrime.com as soon as they are available, please check back for updates.

Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Baez Motion Defeated- Amy Huiezenga Gets Her Day In Court

Breaking News

Orlando, FL– Judge Stan Strickland has denied the defense motion to delay the check fraud case and will be on the docket in the near future.

ALthough the defense argued that the trial should occur following the murder trial, they have lost their bid.  This is a MAJOR blow to the defense.

If convicted, she walks into the murder trial next year a convicted felon. It is possible that under the “prior bad acts” rules within the Supreme Court of Florida, that information will likely be admissable to the jury.

One can assume that George and Cindy Anthony are none to pleased at this decision; it will undoubtedly insure their compliance in testifying in the civil case against their daughter, Casey, brought by Zenaida Gonzalez through her attorney John Morgan.

Caylee/Casey Anthony Case Bombshell: Proof George Anthony Lied

Orlando, FL– In a bombshell released in discovery today, evidence George Anthony could not have been telling the truth about June 16th.; allegedly the last time he saw Casey and Caylee leave:

CellJune16sm

According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th. Not the 12:50PM time he told Investigators and recounted in several media interviews. Most recently, George refused to discuss the last time he saw his granddaughter Caylee during the deposition in the civil case against his daughter, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Given the previously released computer forensics, whereby we know Casey was on the home computer on an IM chat in the morning this supports the fact she was in the home, and as the calls begin on Casey’s cell, she is leaving the residence.

SO.. Could it be George who never came home the evening of June 15th? Did Casey leave her cell phone there the evening before and come back? Impossible. She was on it.

Message to Leonard: This makes one more.. LOL.. Told You.

Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Baez Blasts Team Padilla

Orlando, Fl– Late last week the latest motions in the defense of Tot mom Casey Anthony for allegedly murdering her 34 month old daughter Caylee were filed. Talk about your average ingrate. The very team Jose Baez called on for help to bail out his client is the latest target in Baez defense teams attempt to restart the bilge pump in Casey’s sinking ship.

Baez latest attempt to un-ring the Padilla bell may as well have arrived at the clerks office on a cocktail napkin; it will be taken exactly that seriously.

There is no expectation of privilege where there is no attorney/client relationship in Florida. The question is, did Jose Baez sufficiently disclose that information to his client, Casey Anthony? Is this motion really designed to stave off the current Florida Bar complaints under investigative review?

BaezPadilla82908

Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that Baez is attempting to head the testimony of Padilla et al “off at the pass” for multiple reasons. It is expected that the backyard babblings of Casey Anthony to Tracy Mclaughlin will corroborate some of the evidence at the scene where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found. That’s not all. Baez is indirectly looking to block Leonard, Tracy, Rob and Tony from the civil case against his Client filed by Zenaida Gonzalez by blocking them from allowing their testimony as witnesses for the state in the criminal trial.
