Kyron Horman Missing and Endangered: Terri Horman Leaves The House
Portland, OR– Late today, prior to a previously scheduled hearing at 3PM PST, an agreement was reached between the attorneys for Kaine Horman and Terri Horman.
KOIN reports:The dispute between Terri Horman and Kaine Horman has been settled and she will move out of the couple’s Northwest Sheltered Nook Road home Saturday by 3 p.m.

When asked via email by KOIN if he believes Terri had something to do with Kyron’s disappearance, he wrote: “I believe at some point she will be arrested.”

Snipped the below Kaine interview/poster comment from http://www.oregonlive.com regarding who had what vehicle the day Kyron went missing. I found this to be particularly interesting considering there has been discussion Moulton emailed the school after she left, asking when the project had to be picked up. My question is why couldn’t she have used the truck after Kaine returned home that afternoon to pick up the exhibit? I am also wondering how the exhibit was transported to school to start with? My hinkymeter went off wondering what she really needed the truck for???? hmmmmmmmmmm !!!!

Kaine: I typically drive the truck and Terri drives the car. She wanted to use the truck to bring Kyron’s science fair project home, easier done with the truck than the car, although she did not stay for the duration of the science fair – per her statements that the media has reported.

Hmmmmm, Huh? Take the science project home? That makes no sense since she didn’t stay for the whole science fair ( and thus could have loaded it in her car after it was over,) did not go back during the day to pick it up (alas she would have no doubt noticed that he was not there,) and did not pick Kyron AND the project up after school.
SO now why did she drive the truck, again??????

Re your: That is incorrect. The LS reported nothing to the police until 6/26/10. He alleges that the incident was late 2009, yes. I cannot verify this, although I have tried, but I am hearing that Terri gave LE the landscapers name and told them of an incident where he threatened her previously- and she denied the murder for hire plot after LE questioned him. It is my personal opinion there is also some question as to Rudy Sanchez’s SS status after our research of him.

Me – From what I’ve been reading, was leaning toward Terri having a sexcapade with LS dude, he wanted more that she didn’t commit to. MFH plot could have been said out of spite & flippant but as soon as money was mentioned it became real. The authorities wouldn;t have put a wire on him if he wasn’t telling the truth. You mentioned his SS status. Funny you should mention this bc I’ve been trying to find something out along those same lines. Here in NJ where I live, immigrants are more abundant around the farmland. Sorry to say this but it is cheap labor & with a down economy, it’s all farmers can afford. In the town I live in, there’s barely any farms…it’s more true to “town” nature. However, when venturing over a few towns, there alot of farmland & alot of illegal immigrants. Some are here on work visas, some on sold SS #’s. Yes, you heard me right, SOLD SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS! I know somebody, her name is Nikki. She fell in “love” with one of these illegals. She got pregnant. He didn;t want to go back to his country, I believe it was Brazil…maybe Mexico, don;t remember. Anyway, she married him & he became “nationalized”. They divorced less than 2 years later, but divorced AFTER she sold her SS# to several of his friends for $25 a piece! In speaking with her, I found out it’s extremely common to do this & that it’s easy for people to make money off of this. I’ve been researching Oregon and California to find mention of certain areas that ARE KNOWN to sell their SS#’s to illegal immigrants. In doing so, once I can get some “hot areas” together, I can then search their data banks for prior bookings & arrests to see if anything jives with some of these people that could be connected to Kyron’s case. Since I just now saw this mentioned by you, re: the ss# in question, I thought I’d relate to you this is what I’m looking into myself. Hope it helps you. Kharis.. My take on that post was that the word Eskimo referred to Desiree because someone referred to her as the ‘ice princess’ once. The thought that it could be terri never even occurred to me. Something to think about.
That post was very cryptic though and it may have just been posted by someone who’s just looking for attention.
and on another note.. I opened my local NY paper today and low and behold, I see Kyron’s face and an article about him missing.
I was just wondering if newspapers in other states are still covering the story too.

8. Oregon’s previous Governor was known by others to have engaged in on-going sexual relations with an underage girl — beginning when she was 14 I believe. He did eventually admit it. Apparently, there were many higher-ups that knew, but looked the other way. I question leadership here. Unless the truck has a topper you wouldn’t put cardboard in the back anyway. It does, however, sound like the project was delivered to the school on the day Kyron went missing. Some had speculated it was taken there perhaps the day before.
I don’t know if this has been posted before but I believe “Eskimo” is slang for an anonymous drug agent – I think the poem is pretty creepy too.

This is something I’m actually wondering…How do we KNOW that Kyron’s project wasn’t set up the night before? Or the day before? IF Terri needed the truck bc it was easier to transport the project, and IF Kiara was with her that morning, then SURELY Kiara’s car seat would have been in the back seat…right? Well, wouldn;t that take up a lil bit of room in the backseat? Would Ky have sat up front? Where does that leave the Large Science Project – IN THE BACK of the truck…ie the truck bed? If that’s the case, wouldn;t it have gotten wet? I thought it was raining there that day. When did it start raining? I thought it had been raining all night, off & on, drizzling during the day…

Back to the core: Where is Kyron?
Backtracking here: I posted the 3 long posts to clarify in my own mind how to organize and figured it might help others timeline the clues for themselves, even post them in an hour-by-hour Day-of scenario. Each new released info, of course, throws each new timeline off, even if it’s by 15 minutes. (Ever try Excel? It does paint a clearer picture.) The revelation of LS was a wrench for mine, not as big as a monkey, but at least a hand☺
FYI initially I always felt the grounds were the key. And grounds could include a mile radius. I dissed the whole recent school website pix postings at first, but the red thing on the log pix – outright goosebumps on that one. Um, who’s the IT there? Are pix updated in one fell swoop, or added continually; was that pix after June 4? Either that person’s a) “tantalizing” viewers with some known related info, or b) is another coat-tail rider (MC) to minute Fame, or c) just not adept at choosing pix much less PShopping them. Kind of a “dark” palette, or flash pix are too far from subjects, etc.
Apologies to any hard-working volunteer/parent, but I really am addressing someone at that school (the one who left? The one “on probation”? Whoever posted the last part on probation types at the school, is this for sure? LE would loom pretty heavily over that revelation.) I had wondered way back when why the man BK, initially reported as Principal then as a less attached “spokesman”, blew off Tanner’s report. Probably simply, it ain’t good school press. Or…?
So now the revelation of the pings: I, too, am dumfounded: 25 miles in the opposite direction, before 10am, 2 stores, little traffic, at least 2 sightings closer to SI. As verified, store cameras, (and receipts?) back her claim. Am I getting this right? Or is this another red herring where TH didn’t need the VISUAL alibi (people/friends), she just needed the electronic tracking to back her whereabouts—perhaps 25 mi. away…perhaps Sunnyside. Per google map, distance clocks between 16 to 19 mi. distance, another 5-6 mi. to home one-way. Possibly TH or conspirator have something over a third conspirator, just enough to order that person to “ping” from her phone that morning while she used a throwaway and “oh, by the way, drive my phone back to me” (so extra miles won’t show on her odom) — yet not enough to demand actual participation? Hmmmm. Maybe LE’s wasting time on these pings, or this is one of those stones.
Okay, now Sunnyside: I’m not totally prepped on this, but here goes, complete with question marks for all of these unsubstantiated musings: someone, Eskimo, actually named, posted a poem (on oregonlive?) tantalizing some of us to speculate that Eskimo is referring to a “sunny side”, which could be the east side/morning side of the school or Sunnyside? “One cops woman” could be DY, or could be that one of the cops is a woman? “Evil sailed…watery grave” – so the SI connection seems to be described here? “Not the K or T we know but others hands in the fire” – inferring perhaps not the bio parents or may not even the 2nd set of parents, but “others”. I paused at that phrase: “hands in the fire”. Did he, ugh, mean just that, or did Eskimo mean “finger in every pie”? Is the language an issue, paraphrasing a phrase like that? And on “fire” I don’t want to even go there, but landscaping involves brush burning. Were there any such activities in nearby rural areas after June 4?
This posting was repeated on Blink from wherever Eskimo’s original posting was – is this yet another dead-end red herring? Is Eskimo, known by Blink, someone to heed here?
Okay, so now TH is moved to small-town Roseburg, old stomping grounds, already the neighbors seem sympathetic but remote. If TH stays in their area, tides could change. But: “Out of town, out of state even because she’s under no compulsion to stay in Oregon. She’s not under arrest, she’s not under probation, she’s free to go wherever she wants,” said McCain. He’s referred to as “former” but this guy’s invested. . . Susan Powell went missing Dec. 6, husband Josh is seen after the report in a strip joint (characters behaving badly like TH/MC?), Dec. 16 he’s named a “person of interest”. Yet on Jan. 9 he outright moves from Utah to WA… a “person of interest”! And TH can leave, too; there’s still no term for her (though I saw it WAS reported that LE had to tell her she was named). No one stopped Josh; no one can stop her. And Josh has 2 kids with him. She doesn’t even have her car. What’s to stop her, what people may think??
The glasses issue goes back and forth for me: a clue? Not a clue? Used vs display quality? Is it definitely known yet that Ky had multiple glasses? We saw the shades at the zoo (Ky didn’t even look like himself there). I recall one TH posting a caption that Ky’s glasses were taken for “adjusting” in November. Noticeably by June 4 with the frog display the glasses were already (or still?) slipping down Ky’s nose. Could a second pair have been ordered during that Nov. repair? Is there verification for even that repair?
Finally, referring back to Blink’s note how this may be ” motivated” – in a way, that scenario implies something simpler than something involving gangs. At least to me, gang connections seem more convoluted, more “hands” in the fire. So now, my thinking has swayed once again. How can TH NOT keep saying nothing? Who’s the real ear?

Disparaging the entire State of Oregon for its former governor’s sexual crimes is not fair. Neil Goldschmidt is responsible for his crimes, not the State of Oregon. Rumors abound in politics and the mud-slinging is fierce — the whole wide world over. Every state in this great nation has corruption and cronies covering up for each other. It is not exclusive to Oregon. It has nothing to do with this case.
We don’t even know whether Kyron’s abduction has a sexual motive to it. The only thing we do know is that he disappeared from his school on June 4th, 2010. Very few facts have been released by local LE. Both of Kyron’s parents have voice their suspicions about Terri’s involvement. BUT, there has been no proof released that she tried to hire the landscaper as a hitman to murder Kaine. No proof released that she failed 2 polygraphs, just uncorroborated news reports and accusations from Kaine, Desiree & Tony. The sexting with Michael Cook, again … what proof is there? Nothing has been released.
It must be awful for Kyron and his loved ones to endure his disappearance. I cannot imagine…. God bless them all.
As for the septic system at the school, surely it has already been thoroughly searched.

Titch: My thought was that even though some working dads may not know all the details about a child’s project, I imagine Kaine would have known if the project was at the house to be transported when Terri asked for the truck. At the very least I would have thought Kyron would have mentioned something to his dad if he had set the project up the day before and had his picture taken in front of it. Maybe at dinner he would have asked Terri to show his dad the picture or something. I believe Kaine mentioned that he and Kyron talked about the science project that morning.
Regarding taking the truck rather than Mustang to transport project, I have a Mustang and if I had to drive my son (also 7) to school along with the posterboard, I would probably want to use my husband’s car as there really isn’t much room in the Mustang. My son sits in the back due to age and the posterboard would fit in the front but if she didn’t want it being crushed, the truck would have more room.
BUT, did she even use the truck to transport the project or was it there already? Also, if it were me and I knew my son would be riding the bus home, I would have stayed there and taken the project with me when the display was over OR I would have told my son NOT to ride the bus because I would be picking him and the project up after school. Doesn’t make sense.
Do you think maybe she wanted to use the truck because the red Mustang would be more “memorable” for potential witnesses than a white truck? If she always drove the car, people would remember seeing her but if she were in the truck, maybe go more un-noticed. Also for potential security cameras, easy to spot her in a Mustang but white trucks are more common so she was thinking of blending in more than standing out. Just thinking.

Portland Metro area covers many ‘smaller’ cities-Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham and even, though I always find it strange to include, Vancouver, Washington (across the Columbia River),
But Hillsboro by large is known for the large population of Latinos.
Until Oregon tightened DMV laws there was a large ;business’ of selling SS#/info etc to obtain a driver license.There was actually “DMV approved” site that ‘busloads’ of illegals showed up to and were given (for a price) info to obtain driver license. (Many of these illegals were not living in Oregon)
I have decided that I can’t participate any futher. It is clear that people refuse to see what some are trying to say.
Every single non-native Oregon resident will easily admit that there is something entirely off about Oregon. We have experiences elsewhere. We know when something is not right.
Through a series of posts, I have offered information and sometimes cryptic. Even if I did spell it out, it would largely be denied, ridiculed, etc. Listen more — criticize less. At this point, there is no hard evidence, but evidence is clearly being sought. Are pursuits going in the right direction? Very hard for me to say.
I wish I could tell you all the things I know from living and working here. And yes, working in very telling environments. Oh the many scared employees — all fearful of speaking up for fear retaliation, which is also investigated by the State. Oh, Dear. What a tangled web indeed.
I have enjoyed participating and really do enjoy the site and appreciate the hard work by all.

All of the business about the need to use a pick-up truck to transport the science project is absurd. The tri-fold project boards fold up readily and fit in the back of my small BMW coinvertible, and my son’s Mustang cinvertible, w room for a toddler and car seat. Project board fits flush against the front bucket seats.
Whyd she really need the truck?
Also, if she took a plastic container, wow. Way inappropiate for tranporting the project.
In regarding the Richard McQuade postings, I was on a facebook page for Gabriel Johnson, the missing baby boy from AZ, whose mother claimed she gave him away and then claimed she killed him..and there is a discussion page about a Ron McQuade who was making postings about Gabriel. Quote from one of the discussions: “Interesting that some folks think they can post ridiculous limericks and libelous claims under a false name or using a fake profile, but then they’re the first to scramble for cover when exposed to the light” Is this the same thing going on??

No offense to anyone suggesting plausible reasons for using the truck, but after transporting at least 20 of these project boards for my 5 children, I can say that I have never needed to use a truck to do so.
I keep going back to valhall on the hinky meter saying that she wants the Krueger Pond area searched by LE. Her reasoning is pretty sound:
“I am more inclined to believe the area of Krueger Pond and the tunnel needs to be heavily searched due to the fact that Terri (this is based on an assumption she physically did something to Kyron – i.e. murdered him) would have to set up an appearance of REASONABLE DOUBT. The only reasonable doubt she could set up (barring counting on an abduction which would require a witness seeing the abductor) would be a scenario of Kyron wandering away from the school.”

Since the information about the landscaper has come to light, I wonder even more about this area because it looks from google earth that the only way to access it is through the Plumper Pumpkin Patch and Tree Farm. I wonder if the L/S or his associates could be acquainted with this tree farm. It’s busy time is fall through Christmas, so you wouldn’t have crowds, but maybe a few people preparing for planting.

I don’t want to speak for anyone else, but I’m personally aware that a piece of cardboard can be transported in a car. But she took the truck. The question based on that fact (?) is – is this normal for her on occasion to do this and if not what was her excuse for wanting the truck?
And being a neat-freak.. I can say I thought of the plastic bin thing because it looks like the size of that length of a display. It would make sure it was kept nice with no creases, etc.
I think us all trying to ‘connect the dots’ with what little we do know is helpful and just because something doesn’t make sense to us… a 7 year old boy is missing and NONE of the circumstance make any sense. I don;t think it’s a jump to say she said she wanted to take the truck – weather was bad.. felt safer driving the kids (kid??), etc.
If you come to the intersection of Cornelius Pass Rd and Hwy 30 and head North on Hwy 30. Off to the left is a large private pond. Shortly after that is a golf course on the same side of the road. I don’t know if there is a pond as I’ve never been to the course myself.
I do know the police showed up where I work, they were asking for video tape that was aimed at Hwy 30 from any businesses along that stretch of road. The place I work is North of the golf course.

There are a lot of respectful and intelligent writers here who deliver not only the research, logic, and attributions needed to work a case of this magnitude, but we see that their discipline also pushes them to use language as responsibly and accurately as possible. I’ve learned a great deal here at Blink on Crime and have never seen a top-notch blogger say, “c’mon people” or “gawd” or leave rude remarks to others, despite some extemely frustrating days.
And yes, we get off-topic, or on distantly related topics at times.
Oregon and Portland aren’t any different than other cities, I don’t believe, in that there is criminal and unethical behavior in a small percentage of citizens and officials. Unfortunately, Oregon still has a governor who knew about Neil’s situation; they still have a mayor who admitted to beginning an affair with a 17yo man (but didn’t have sex until the week after he turned 18! when he (Adams, the mayor) was about 42, iirc).
We’ve got weak and abusive people all over the world, including in our federal government. What we can do is address the most egregious of wrongs and try to protect the innocent children who die physically and emotionally at their hands.
We have to stay alert, keep the cases in the media, take the time to turn over the clues and incubate the possible scenarios. Out of this little think tank comes some great segues to the bedrock path for Lady Justice’s sure footing.

Needing a truck to transport the display board and shadowbox would indeed be overkill. However, with 2 kids in carseats/boosters in a Mustang, fitting it in could be tight. But it should have fit in the trunk.
So, let’s buy in for a moment into needing the truck to bring his project home. Then, she must have planned to stay until the end of the science fair, right? But instead, she left early–what happened? Who showed up, or who called, or . . .?? If you buy that, then calling to see if/when she could stop back by to pick up the project almost makes sense.
BUT . . . I don’t really think that’s why she needed the truck. I don’t know what she was up to that day, but from what has been said about the polygraphs, she does not want to say everywhere she went that morning. If you know in advance that you’re going somewhere you don’t want to have widely known, a red Mustang with the license plate RDSQRL would not be unobtrusive. It seems, however, that white trucks are a popular vehicle in that area.
Following through and picking up Kyron’s project, however, would have kept her cover with Kaine as to why she needed the truck. So her call/e-mail still makes sense from that perspective.
