San Francisco, CA– The former law partner of divorce attorney to the stars- Melvin Belli has conducted a 2 year investigation into claims made by an Orange County Realtor that her father, Guy Ward Hendrickson, is the Zodiac Killer.

Deborah Perez came forward on the steps of the San Francisco Chronicle this afternoon:

Perez claims that she accompanied her Father on some of his murderous outings when she was 7, and actually wrote the letter to police and Marvin Belli for her father. She claims that when she saw the Zodiac Killers composite in 1997, she immediately knew it was her father. It was not known why Ms. Perez waited to come forward, but she is currently making a documentary of the crimes.

McLean stated that handwriting experts have confirmed that the letters were written by Perez, she has a pair of glasses she believes were a trophy taken by her father of cab driver victim Paul Stine, and she actually embroidered the black mask described by some of his victims.

All evidence and investigation notes have been turned over to the FBI, who will launch their own investigation into the claims.

Guy Ward Hendrickson died of cancer in 1993.

Los Angeles, CA– LAPD is scheduling a press conference later this afternoon to announce they believe John Floyd Thomas, Jr, 72, a workers compensation insurance adjuster, may have raped and murdered as many as 30 victims since 1966.

Thomas’s Mother died when he was 12. He was raised by his Aunt and his godmother. He received a dishonorable discharge from the USAF in 1956 and was convicted of robbery and attempted rape in 1957. Upon his release in 1966 the terror of the West Side Rapist began.

Kent, WA– For anyone still thinking that that the “casual encounters” and “erotic” ad section of craigslist.com are perfectly safe-

Meet: Shawn Tyler  Skelton.

Skelton, a 24 year old Kent, Washington resident was arrested Monday evening after Vice detectives caught him placing an ad for “strange desires” where he wanted to have sex with a woman and then murder her. 

Detectives were alerted on Wednesday following Skelton’s ad placement and began emailing him. They made arrangements to meet a t a Motel Monday and arrested him when he showed up with a heavy chain and a knife. Skelton was arrested on attempted murder charges and is being held on 1 Million Dollars Bail.

UPDATE: THE FORMER BOYFRIEND OF MICHELLE LEE,  FELLOW CSI STUDENT AT JOHN JAY COLLEGE INDICTED FOR HER MURDER. READ HERE

Queens, NY– Police are scouring the scene for clues in a 43rdSt Queens apartment Michelle Lee, 24, shared with her roommate who is also a criminalist for the NYPD. Lee’s roommate was out of town last weekend until Sunday evening and upon her return she assumed Lee was asleep.

On Monday morning, her roommate stumbled upon the grisly scene. Lee was tied to the bed, had a burned imprint from an iron on her stomach, multiple stab wounds, a cell phone charger cord around her kneck and a stab wound to the kneck; with the knife protruding. 

Milenko Mihat, Lee’s landlord, said upon finding Michelle’s lifeless body Monday, the roommate ran screaming down the stairs.. “She’s dead in the bed, She’s dead in the bed!…” “It was just terrible,” Mihat said.

Both Lee and her roommate are graduates of John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Lee was a specialist in narcotics testing.

Police say Lee’s roommate is not a suspect, and have requested her identity be withheld at her request.

NYPD detectives are interested in speaking to a few of Ms. Lee’s former boyfriend’s, including one that has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. 

(editor’s note: Are you thinking what I am thinking? Subject knew roomate was out of town and this scene is an obvious, highly personal killing. It should be telling if the autopsy yields a combination of peri and post mortem wounds; perhaps indicating knowledge of the staging of a crime scene, or wanting to create the appearance of same.)

Myrtle Beach, SC– Brittanee Marie Drexel, 17, has been missing since the evening of April 25^th. Drexel was last seen, according to witnesses at the Motel she was staying in, against her Mother’s protests, at 8:15PM.

Police have named Peter Broswick, the person last seen with Brittanee, a person of interest in her disappearance. Dawn Drexel, Brittanee’s Mother did not grant her permission for the Spring Break trip, but she had maintained regular contact with the sparkling blue-eyed beauty.

Boston, MA– Phil Markoff, the alleged Craigslist killer appears to be an equal opportunity offender.  Reported this morning on the Today Show, Markoff used the email address sexaddict5385 to send explicit pictures and emails of himself to men he found on craigslist ads labeled M4T, meaning “men looking for transvestites.”  An edited picture of his account can be found on page 2 of this article. 

Markoff is accused of kidnapping and armed robbery of Las Vegas prostitute Trisha Leffler and the kidnapping and murder of 26 year old masseuse Julissa Brisman.
