Isabel Celis Breaking News: Child Services Removes Sons From Sergio Celis Care and Placed With Mother
In the latest development in the April 21st disappearance of missing Tucson child Isabel Celis, her father Sergio has been stripped of his physical custodial rights of her brothers.
There has been no confirmation from Tucson Police about the children’s removal and placement, and CPS has only confirmed the boys have been placed with one parent.
Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to www.blinkoncrime.com that evidence gleaned in the investigation has warranted alternative placement of the couples oldest children in the wake of the disappearance of their daughter, Isabel.
The boys, whose names have been reported previously elsewhere but are being intentionally withheld by www.blinkoncrime.com have been placed together, not separately.

I dunno, this entire charade has seemed a bit hoaky from the get go. I have suspected the father was involved the entire time due to his deminor. I have read thru just about everything that’s been said and what it sounds like to me is Sergio was up all night doing Meth ( boy’s said they kept hearing a clicking sound ) ie: like a torch lighter click ) the rest is kinda obvious, he did “something” to Isabel and then covered his tracks cleaning up and staging the scene… Keep in mind both parents work in the medical field and should have access to rubber gloves. That “cadaver dog hit” could have been the dog smelling Meth odor. Just a theory…

IMO I think that Sergio was molesting Isa. IMO Becky did not know this was going on. It has been said she slept with her brothers, which I thought was odd, but maybe she slept with them to keep Sergio away. Sergio fails his LDT, Becky passes her (I was told by a local LE this is what happened – he failed, she passed). LE is putting doubt into Becky, this accounts for her “weirdness” on interviews. She is beginning to doubt Sergio. Maybe she or LE felt that the boys knew something and the only way to get them to feel safe to say what they may know, is to keep them away from Sergio. IMO Sergio did it, they came home from the park, Becky did Isa’s hair, she had work so she turned in and left Sergio and the kids to finish normal family bedtime rituals. Sergio tries something with Isa and . . .

the 3 separate home walk throughs:
Sergio, Becky, eldest–1 by 1 & not together–were set up to interview
eldest alone without alarming parents.
Information developed talking to him made him in some respect an
informant who needed a protected status – for father not to pressure him
to find out & change his statements about that night.
Just one other theory.
I wonder just what it was that caused Becky to leave Sergio.
As of last weekend she was standing on stage in a church holding his hand as he sang Ave Maria.
What happened this last week? What test results could have come back?
This with CPS happened so quickly. We need to do a timeline on this week and the events. I remember Becky and Sergio and the oldest boy returning to the home with detectives. Could that visit have triggered this?
I can suppose that she agreed not to live with him and no contact with her boys in fear of her children becoming wards of the state.

LE must have very deliberate reason to work with CPS to protect the other children in house. It makes me even more concerned for Isabel. Pray for this young chld’s safe return.

If threats were related to potential to the boys, then the threat to the boys would come from Sergio or alternatively from something/one associated with Sergio, because he is the barred one.
To me the threat must be from Sergio because if it was from a known associate who took Isabel, that person(s) would be arrested. If it was from an unknown unpredicatable associated risk person to Sergio, then putting them with mother/relative would fail to protect them altogether; they needed to be in an hidden location. That leaves Sergio as the threat. The 3 possible threats from him directly could be:
l) he’s articulated suicidal feelings (therefore homicidal), so the compliance cps would seek would be his hospitalization. The next threat would be
2) he would be likely if in contact with them to get them to change some aspects of their story that night having a detrimental effect on investigation. That could be protected against less drastically.
3) theory 3 would be he has previously, and might in future, abuse them physically or sexually. the latter might explain why the boys took Isabel to their room. In this case, though, imo CPS with corroborating testimony from kids would take it to Court t5o ensure protection and would be reluctant to place with Mom immediately since she’d a history of failing to protect them. imo CPS would do “relative alone” at first and phase her in.

Googling child abduction hoax…and ya come up with a lot of hits.
It’s not as uncommon as we think.
This has to be about $$$$$. Sergio brought up ‘ransom’ on tv. Uncle Justin…or whomever takes her… Motivation….reward money?
For Isa’s sake, I hope this is what it really is….and that she is indeed safe and alive.
B, something tripped your mind to lead you to ‘hoax’. Perhaps you’ll share how that came to be, someday. I know you wouldn’t pull it out of the air without a basis for it.

I have no idea if sweet Isa is safe, alive, or other.
I do believe that she was not abducted by a stranger, and the story as to her disappearance is fabricated, in part or total. I do not think Mom had prior knowledge at this point.
The possibility of a hoax as my initial and potentially current profile is based on my experiences or study of other cases of actual stranger abduction that look nothing like this.

thx for the detail that the boys heard a clicking sound throughout the night. I hadn’t heard that and don’t know if it’s reliable. The drug heating could be heroin or cocaine, smoked or injected.
Pure methamphetamine won’t have an odor, but with any additive or residual, a chemical burning smell can be detected.
Cocaine’s effects don’t last very long at all. You have to continue to use to stay high. When snorting cocaine the effects may last 15 to 30 minutes, when smoking it could last 5-10 minutes.
Ironically, singers with vocal fold dysfunction receive topical cocaine application and/or injections (by their otolaryngologists). ENTs have applied medical grade cocaine since the 1880′s.
Wouldn’t there have to be some sort of ongoing threat to the boys to remove them to only one parent? Wouldn’t there have to be an agreement that the parent who maintains physical custody would have to make with CPS?

I would think so. I had a neighbor who “agreed” to not ever leave her son home alone and told CPS she would have her friend watch him. She lied big time. CPS never checked and the woman eventually ABANDON her 12 year old mentally retarded son with no water in the house for 3 days. I do think CPS, in this case, will be checking on everything, as they should.
From what I know of CPS and sexual abuse, if there is even a suspicion, they remove kids or make the accused parent leave until the investigation is done. With sexual abuse, it’s kind of a “shoot first, ask questions later.” But in the county I am in, unless it’s sexual abuse, your house has to be so filthy and nasty, or kids not fed, or left unsupervised for a LONG time before they do much more than talk to you. I have a neighbor whose house if full of roaches and smells so bad it isn’t funny and she gets CPS called on her about once a year. They don’t do much to her at all. She isn’t sending them to school covered in bruises, so CPS won’t do much. It seems like the county you are in plays heavily into how they treat you-even though this makes no sense.
Maybe they found evidence of drug use – paraphernalia? Doesn’t dad have previous drug charges or am I thinking of uncle. Sorry, I’m too tired to go back and look tonight.
As I stated before April 20th is a pot smoker’s “holiday”….known as “420.”

Blink, imo even long ago (my day) it was illegal & unethical to say “Agree to a voluntary placement or we’ll go to Court.” We were strictly trained & well supervised not to say that. Maybe it happened up to the mid-70s, but imo not after a Federal child welfare act passed sometime in the 70s requiring States to do this & that with standards. I hope in the dereg 2000s, professional expectations did not change. If you have evidence, you go to Court. You don’t threaten families.

Blink, why would LE simply IMPLY a threat if they thought two boys’ lives were in such danger that LE wanted them away from the father? That sounds like being a little bit pregnant…OR…like LE wants to apply some pressure to Sergio. You have to wonder why he isn’t fighting this? And why LE hasn’t sought a RO? I still think if LE thought he was a real threat to those kids, LE and CPS would have run – not walked – to a judge for a RO. Endangered kids parents generally do not make “I promise I’ll be good” contracts with CPS, nor does CPS allow such when the potential for danger exists. That said, I saw a case once where a beautiful little toddler came down with genital herpes. What did CPS do? Since her mom was a nurse, and gave a half-a$$ed explanation of said herpes lesions, CPS returned the child to the nurse. Nurse was dating a SO. The toddler was dead a few months later. So, CPS definitely does not always get it right, but LE, if they care about the Celis boys, should.
Prayers for Isa…..and keep sleuthing Blink!! Hopefully we will have some answers soon.
Actually ABC (or one of the MS networks) posted a story that it is in fact the father who has been forbidden to see the boys…it was posted a few hours ago…

I do believe you are getting this case confused with Missouri’s Baby Lisa’s case, where Baby Lisa’s 2 brothers are alleged to have heard clicking sounds.
This case is about Isabel, sometimes referred to as Isa for short . . . I can see how the name “Lisa” can come into one’s thinking.

According to the Sergio they had to surrender anything that had Isabel’s picture on it . . . computers, laptop. He said this just before he launches into the lamenting of LE taking and still being in the possession of his “new camera” that had pictures from Christmas, with Isabel and her new puppy, and baseball games.

As far as a “clicking sound” people, wrong case, that was Lisa Irwin…her brothers said they heard such a sound.

I live in Tucson so we are getting regular updates on things. I heard that it was a nun from the church next door that called 911 and that is why she referred to herself as “sister” Since it is technically part of her name she would use it and probably didn’t think she needed to explain what type of sister to 911. Sergio screams creep to me though so who knows.

To me the “no contact” means either Sergio has subjected them to some type of bodily harm in past outside of social norms but maybe not enough to go to Court (ER documentation, broken bones) OR there is specific credible evidence he played a role in Isa’s disappearance. I bet on the former. Looking forward to your updates Blink.

Anyone know if Sergio & Becky were even living together prior to Isa going missing ? When Sergio talked about “how Isa was getting her hair braided, she walked by him & he asked her if she was hungry (pp)” it almost sounded like he was observing from a distance using a handheld device as opposed to being in the same room with her.. iPhones & iPads have that face to face capability for chats..
If the baseball game broke up around 10:00pm according to witnesses & Sergio stayed around to clean up etc then I wonder how he could have done the cleanup detail, drove home & have seen her get her hair braided, have the conversation with her & then meet the 11:00pm bedtime.. Balloon Boy story was my first thought on this because neither parent appears to be outwardly concerned about this child’s current safety & whereabouts..

I think that if they could prove he had committed any kind of crime, he would have been arrested. Since he has not my guess, like others have said here, is that he was suggesting to boys to lie about this investigation and police thought separating them and also parents will now reveal more information. Especially that the parents are separated. Hopefully there will be a big break now. Parents have always looked guilty to me, especially that theatrical performance given by Sergio when in front of the media.
Someone asked what happened to cause the parents to separate so fast? She is a pediatric nurse and maybe her employer is hesistant to have her come back to work and Becky figured if she wanted to work again she would have to come clean and ditch and distance herself from Sergio. Another person asked if Sergio has any drug history: yes, on Nancy Grace it was reported he has 2 drug charges for possession and 2 DUI.
One of the Find Isabel facebook sites has disappeared . . . the one that had a fellow named Steve Raw running it.

@Jane, I totally agree with you. Btw, do you know what Mr. Celis’s *alleged* drug charges were and what the disposition was for each charge?
Irt Ms. Celis returning to work – My understanding is that she works as an emergency room nurse. I cannot imagine having to work in the stressful environment of an ED while one’s child is missing. On the other hand, the hectic pace of the ER (assumming she works in a high volume ER) may keep her mind occupied. She is certainly in my prayers as are her sons, and, of course, Isa.

Beth Holloway seemed to be everywhere, all the time, looking for her
child. She appeared to have sacrificed everything, for justice
and a peaceful conclusion. She did not sleep until she got answers.
My best hope is maybe S. sent SC on a trip. It must have been tough on

I think the child was a ball and chain to him, he wanted to be free to be alone with his music, or practice.
My opinion is IC was in the way, now he looks free, sadly.

No, both parents said absolutely- emphatic. Their is no reason to believe Isa Is not Sergio’s bio daughter that I am aware of.

Wow…The actions by the state speak LOUDLY! This would lead me to believing $ as MO or he could be involved in drugs as speculated by others.
Now that the boys and Becky are staying with a relative, where is Sergio staying? Is he back at their home?
When the Celis’ decided not to return to their home after police conducted their onsite search, they said it was because the home held too many reminders of Isa. They didn’t say that they feared for their boys’ safety, which would seem to make more sense. They also did not share any fears for the boys’ safety when they started talking about sending them back to school.
This had left me wondering if the threat is internal, not external. CPS’s involvement seems to indicate the same.
I believe that the Celis’ are hiding something. Their behavior on camera, especially Dad’s, is odd and their language indicates they know Isabel is not alive. I’m not convinced that this is a hoax unless the hoax is their coverup of a crime or accident involving their daughter.
I fear for Isabel’s safety.

I had forgotten about that one. Both parents were in on that one. But I think right from the beginning we pretty much knew something was way off.
I honestly thought the parents innocent in this one. Now I do believe Sergio did something. I am still on the wall about Becky but I did find this puzzling. She wrote it today..strange a mother looking for her lost child…I would be huddled in a corner and not sending out greetings to mothers.
