Isabel Celis Breaking News: Child Services Removes Sons From Sergio Celis Care and Placed With Mother

In the latest development in the April 21st disappearance of missing Tucson child Isabel Celis,  her father Sergio has been stripped of his physical custodial rights of her brothers.

There has been no confirmation from Tucson Police about the children’s removal and placement, and CPS has only confirmed the boys have been placed with one parent.

Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to www.blinkoncrime.com that evidence gleaned in the investigation has warranted alternative placement of the couples oldest children in the wake of the disappearance of their daughter, Isabel.

The boys, whose names have been reported previously elsewhere but are being intentionally withheld by www.blinkoncrime.com have been placed together, not separately.

Check back to www.blinkoncrime.com for details.

@pueblodweller. typically imo a small developer would buy a tear down version of that $90,000 type place for as you say $83,000, subdivide & build two biggies, keeping one to live in and selling the other to pay the original tear down’s cost and construction costs of both homes, or selling both. I only speculate this explanation. It is unfortunate in the gogo economy the Celis were sold a mortgage they couldnt refi when the bottom dropped out of house value. I understood from press they wanted to live near his parents, mom with stroke, to help with care.

To follow up on the earlier issue Rose and others following this thread:

There is a press conf at 3 PM GMT/CMT. For you “right coasters” that is 6PM.

Apparently, the hand is quicker than the eye in some minds, or I mean the keyboard, for some reporters:

Blink, did you say CheeseandRice? Where’d you get that from?

We have two more missing women here in central Florida, just in the last week.

    My Daddy.

I adore him. Growing up, he had a colorful vocabulary. When the grandbabies came, as so frequently happens, GrandPop realizes he is now speaking within earshot of his beloved cherubs so we came up with alternatives that generate the same emotional release.

Hilarious, one year at Christmas he says, I want to get a picture of me and my princesses over by the tree, lol. I was like- Grizz, we are in the middle of getting dinner on the table, and he goes, not you three, my granddaughters!

Sigh. If I could have any wish, it would be for all little girls to have an outstanding Dad as they grow. It is my theory that many of missing women ( I am referring to the ones that tended to be choice-challenged, which is supported by their case info, not overall). It is assumed that Mom’s are going to get the the angst from our girls. I say accept it, and do your best. A young woman who has a strong paternal figure in her life will make better choices at the end of the day, imo.

This from the woman who smells her kids hair in their beds before I go to sleep, I have issues, so fair to consider that :)

if B Bierman’s response to the public was as stated by reader’s comment on her story “the information was never there,” she should be fired. Maybe CBS National that republished her erroneous story will have input. Should’ve been a retraction. Btw, if there was a “no contact” provision, I think this custody thing must’ve run thru the child abuse/neglect current juvie Judge in an emergency order, perhaps in Chambers, which hearing would of course be confidential.

    O, I am there.

My takeaway was at the end Becky’s Mother was said to be an unfailing source of support the last 3 weeks to her.
My speculation is what better informant about boys/Becky/Sergio issues to LE than her Mother, who apparently had bern with them post abduction
Based on Becky’s silence re Sergio on video, imo
this was already like Hormans a fragile family.
A normal wife would say one sentence about the family
missing him on a family day.

  7. NY Liz says:

That article was just bad reporting all-together. Not only with the ‘ex-wife’ mis-hap but it also states that ‘the parents’ reported her missing. Everywhere else states that the father reported her missing. It seems like the article was meant to cause confusion on purpose.

BBB cautions about donating in Finding Isabel case

    02:06 PM

TUCSON — The Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona issued a warning to today for people to mindful if they wish to donate money in the case of missing Isabel Celis.

While the BBB has not seen a specific scam or received complaints, they tell the News 4 Tucson Investigators, it is common for fraudsters to prey upon people’s good intentions in situations such as this.

You will hear from the BBB at 4pm and 6pm on News 4 Tucson Monday May 14.

2nd 911 Call that came in was Becky Celis

  25. nana2 says:

JVM is saying her producers say it was the oldest son that called 911 first then the mom.. So I wonder could it be that neither parent was really at home the night/morning Isa went missing that the boys were babysitting for their mom & dad ?

  26. mosaic says:

Hearing Blink speak about stroking her children’s hair while they sleep at night underlines the concern I have with Becky and Sergio having left their home while their child is missing.

Don’t they want to be as close to Isabel as possible, if only be “smelling” her clothes, her little girl room and stroking her pillow as she we were there? She is MISSING, not DECEASED, unless Sergio and Becky know otherwise.

Why did they leave the house? Rose, I’ve tried to stand in Becky’s shoes and I cannot imagine leaving the place that my daughter would know to come back to. I would be thinking, “What if she is being held and she escapes and runs home? What if they try to contact us and we are not here? I would be glued near the phone.

  27. Rose says:

with all due respect to Mr Villasenior, whom I find professional & delightful, I stopped midstream.
WTF “Voluntary” agreement by both parents????
It did not sound as though boys were in imminent danger, a danger passing Court muster to remove custody,
Imo Sergio & Becky need a Houze yesterday.
Perhaps they acquiesced to “the Man” trying to fully cooperate to recapture Isabel or perhaps they are in part too depressed to be effectual.

  28. wpg says:

    nana2,

This is just my opinion, but no contact should mean no contact by a 3rd party as well. For example what’s to stop Rebecca from passing on to the boys what their father says?

  29. wpg says:

    nana2,

I agree with your thinking on the divide.

  30. georgiamom says:

This quote is from Chief Villasenor (love that name, BTW)…”What was told to us, based on that, they consulted with our detectives as well as with family members, and a voluntary agreement was reached between Child Protective Services and the parents to restrict access, voluntary, for Sergio to get some space and distance from the older children of the Celis family. We really can’t talk about other details about that at this point.” http://www.kvoa.com/full-coverage/finding-isabel/#fcanchor

The part that got my attention was ‘Sergio to get some space and distance from the older children’. Why does Sergio need space and distance? I understand that he probably meant that the children need space and distance from Sergio, but what is he not saying?

Have divorce docs surfaced yet? My thoughts are wack….but here it goes! I wonder if this is a case of the children being abducted from the bio mom who won full custody. Is it possible daddy dearest took these children, changed their names and remarried? It could explain his demeanor, perhaps someone finding out and wanting money in exchange for silence? Where is bio mom and has she been questioned yet? Is she even in the US?????

well they should have kept the other page up is my personal opinion. They had over 40,000 shares of flyers and all those shares disappear once the account is deactivated. If they reactivate, the shares will reappear. I suggest they reactivate immediately, this is supposed to be about Isa, not whether one page or the other is “Official” and this has really hurt getting the word out. The more pages the more chance she will be found. Is it worth losing 9,000 plus people who had 40,000 plus shares of Isa’s flyers? I think not.

I just talked to the family and they want the other page reactivated. They never asked for either page to stop pursuing finding Isabel. So why are you misleading people?

  39. KittyMom says:

So, what’s your take on the 911 call Blink?

    1. The 911 operator was exceptional.

    2. Sergio Celis was saying the right words for a father trying to keep calm, and he is the “inappropriate chuckle” type when he is nervous. For me, this was not the smoking gun on his possible involvement some seemed convinced it is. He knew her height, weight, after thinking about it, and recounted the evening, all seemed genuine to me. There was one question/answer that gave me pause when he responded. It was- you don’t have anyone weird hanging around your house or anything like that? He said no in a contemplative and lower tone than the rest of his speech.

    3. Rebecca Celis getting on the line broke my heart. When she said she should have checked on her before she left I had to turn it off and come back to it.

I admit the contrast between the two of them is striking. This case will be solved by whatever the backstory is in this home with these people that LE knows and we do not.

Cheese and rice. Must be something dad finds a little hard to handle.

If I could fix it, I would have all dads be the kind of person needed in a girls life. We need to get this point across to all young men. Fathers are as important in the life of their girls as mothers. It is from fathers that girls and young women learn to properly evaluate boys and men.

Blink is lucky, a “Poppa” and a Dad who love and cherish their chidren and grandchildren. Dad wanted his little princesses not his big ones for the photo. Thanks for sharing Blink.

This case is a strange one. I keep thinking that little Isa will be found alive. Just what part her father played in this will either make that possible or perhaps impossible.

I am very lucky to have had both, and that is why I openly share it. I believe strongly in the roles Dads and Poppas play in the development of young women and I am hopeful that maybe someone reading that will remember how important it is and “parent” accordingly.

  42. melisb says:

You think mabye Dad enlisted the eldest son’s help in some type of cover up ? Suppose he confided in someone what Dad had asked him to do and that person (or even the son) told LE and that was the reason for the walk through one by one. If Dad thought he was gonna “betray” him or his secret then he might have started to threaten his son and that could be why CPS got involved. Would be easier to remove the dad “for the safety of the children” and lead dad to believe someone may be after him rather than name him a suspect and start the clock and him lawyer up? All MOO!!!!!!!!!

Hi LaurieO, I am familiar with the various Orders of Catholic nuns. My feeling is that if a nun were making a 911 call, she would likely use her name, then mention she’s a nun— but, my point was that I think this is a ridiculous rumor. The victim is often called the complainant, so if the older brother called 911, the “sister” in question would be the complainant, Isa. Gosh, I just wish we could get a break in this case. I can”t even begin to imagine how hard Mother’s Day was for Becky.
    ———————————————————————-
I see what you are saying. And if they had a nun that they were close to that would have been there quickly as a family friend, then she might be present or advocating for the family now as well. I haven’t heard that there is one.

Oh my………..I am shaking right now. The mom–the poor mom and brother. They are hysterial, devestated.

The father: calm, cool, collected. No worry. No hysteria. No tears. No quiver in his voice. He is matter-of-fact in the ENTIRE call to police. He even chuckled a few times.

What is wrong with this father?! But, more importantly: WHAT IS WRONG WITH TUCSON MEDIA AND NOT ALLOWING ANY COMMENTS ABOUT THIS SITUATION FROM THE PUBLIC IN THE COMMENT SECTIONS?! The people of this city deserve to be able to express themselves in light of this monster (Sergio) making the public suspect that there is some creep on the loose ready to steal our kids from their beds–imo, I think I’m supposed to say now. This man (S. Celis) deserves to hear the wrath and the suspicions of his fellow citizens whom he has so easily taken money from, imo. Let him READ the comments now–at least it may scare him enough that he resolve is broken and he confesses.

Based on the demeanor of sergio Celis on the 911 call along, imo, this so-called “father” is guilty of something. I am sick to my stomach. …..
