Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage
Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing, Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.
Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW, a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.
In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud- the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper, Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.
Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

As we have seen, anything goes in the judicial system of Mult County, which is likely why the County’s “investigative journalists” do NOT do fact-based investigations of mcso, the da’s office, nor the conduct & process of said agencies’ investigations, nor do publishers put out on same. I bet Pitkin was axed at the time he found out about SZ & wanted to write on the facts.
More than that- they were told to blackball the second piece on DDS- both by MCSO and the DA and canned an interview with HouzeofBunch ( I have to believe that was genesis of Houze line about media scrutiny on DYs suit withdrawl.

A California man who spent 16 years behind bars for sexual assault convictions was cleared on Monday after DNA evidence linked the crimes to another man.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge William Ryan exonerated Luis Vargas after DNA evidence linked the crimes to the so-called “teardrop rapist,” who is suspected of more than 30 rapes in the Los Angeles area since 1996 and has never been identified, AP reported.
The teardrop rapist gained his nickname for a teardrop tattoo under his eye. The rapist was known for grabbing his victims and threatening them with a weapon before pulling them into a secluded area and raping them, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Vargas, lived near the area where several assaults took place and was misidentified as the rapist because of a similar teardrop tattoo, according to the Times.

I was contacted by a verified source on the canine issue wrt to the Horman property. Upon their arrival after being requested by Staton, lead FBI CART team responders were PRESENT in the hours of approximately 3-5:30Am the morning of June 5th, 2010 when the entire Horman property was searched by 2 canines ( and their handlers) specifically trained to detect human decomposition. The residence was searched by one canine, room by room, simultaneously while the grounds were searched by the other. Upon completion, they switched the canines to repeat the others search area. There were no alerts by either canine. That search and additional searches performed 3 and 5 days later respectively, were all done with consent and nothing was removed from the home.““
I have been very critical of MCSO for very clear and unambiguous reasons regarding the handling of this investigation and I stand behind that. This investigation is not progressing because they are concerned about job security and pension loss, of that I am positive. ( as a result of negligence accusations which I believe under OR law are very valid across the board here). One thing I DO wish to say they did right, albeit the first few days they were operating under the assumption that Kyron walked off school grounds on his own. Their search teams, patterns, overall SAR execution were nearly perfect for that scenario and I am positive they cleared the immediate vicinity very quickly.
It was not known until about day 3 that Ky was seen with SZ, which I now believe culminated from the inability to account for everyone on the verified list initially because the interviews were conducted by several different LEA’s with varying intel to start with.
That said- as I understand it, LE subsequently learned that SZ was captured on 2 different parents footage from the Science Fair. If that does not freeze your shorts- I don’t know what ever will. I do not yet have permission to publish the source of this information, but it is forthcoming. I can say that witnesses I am aware of have NEVER been shown these images that gave sworn statements re SZ to corroborate he was the man they described.

Keefer should have ignored any mcso person Fri nite saying “keep quiet” and called back every employee on Fri nite for a closed staff meeting to track K’s whereabouts at all times with Terri, then after the bell & her departure, and he should have told them if they omitted any detail they opened themselves up to obstruction. He should have placed in them enough fear such that Mathews coughed up, but such a staff mtg would also have given them relief and support because to know the facts firsthand from each other is indirect team building and staff-supportive. I watched Crime Watch Daily
The show seems pretty cheesy. They kept the audience in suspense for quite awhile and made a big drama about the deer bone. DY was there batting her 2 inch eyelashes(and lots of makeup). What was odd was that in sequence’s where she is supposedly crying she is dabbing her face and making the sounds but its pretty obvious there are no tears. DY probably does not have a future as an actress.
IMO They made her do the same grieving scenes over and over until it was what they wanted. What happened is her scenes where she is supposed to cry and look upset appear scripted and fake (no tears to match the sobbing). Walking 3 feet away from the deer bones and looking down.
DY repeated the fake Casey Anthony no body excuse for why TH has not been charged. Hello DY they did find Caylee Anthonys body before /during her mothers trial everyone who watched the news about the trial knows that.
Hasn’t she said before that they haven’t charged TH because they want to charge her with everything at once. Someone from the show must have reminded DY that legally that excuse is pure BS.
The genius moderator talked about the MFH but was never able to explain (and did not even try) why TH was never arrested for MFH (its been 5 years).
What happened to the hateful emails? (not even mentioned).
They brought up the name change but said nothing about DY and the HC getting TH terminated from the job she got in Eugene. They had a clip from the video made in the courtroom about the name change. The part where TH says she wants Kyron found more then anything and the judge refusing her name change.
I think I know why DY/SG are bad mouthing Kaine. There was no interview of Kaine I’ll bet he refused to talk to them. In fact there was no interview of anyone related to the case except DY (not even Tony).

MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. — A sex offender who let his monitoring bracelet’s battery die while he was on parole was found in downtown Portland Wednesday.
Officials say Dennis John Davis did 25 years behind bars for kidnapping, rape and sodomy. He was convicted in 1990 for attacking a woman along a road in Troutdale, posing as a man needing help.
After he was released, he violated his parole and was sent back to jail for one more month.
In June, Davis violated his parole for the second time by violating curfew and cutting off his ankle bracelet. When officers caught up with him, he was carrying porn, drugs and a knife; he was sent back to jail for another two months.
Last weekend, officials say Davis let his ankle monitoring bracelet run out of power.
The last area the bracelet tracked him was in Forest Park near Washington Park. He was found in downtown Portland near NW Davis and 4th Avenue Wednesday morning.
He told police, “I’m just tired of being tracked” and that he was camping out.
Multnomah County officials will now ask the parole board to send him back to prison.

Where to start?
1. To suggest that the DA was ready to charge TH suggests the GJ returned an indictment- We all know that is completely false. What bearing would ( and I am unclear as to the exact parallel) “how missing child cases are investigated” have to do with Kyrons case. I can tell you that members of CART would take issue with that statement. To suggest the DA was going to charge TMH outside of a no true bill defies the constitution and the Oregon supreme court. Didn’t she have pending civil action at this time? So are we to now believe that she was told TH was about to be charged, essentially bolstering her complaint in her civil suit and as a result she withdrew it?
2. What was the new tip- that a deer femur would be laying there and make for good drama? I got news for you people- if that SAR team cannot tell the difference between an animal femur and a human femur they have no business organizing a search for human remains. It is clear for me why dog teams pulled out- they were likely asked to sign a waiver to be filmed for the show – you will notice they do not show whether the cadaver dog alerts to it.
3. I think we all agree this was designed as a photo op pre film production for this show. I will leave the discussion about crowd funding for such an endeavor to y’all.
4. Her timeline of Kyrons disappearance is impossible, and to my knowledge, is not shared by LE. There is no getting around that. A follow up question would be- what is she basing that 10 minute window on? I can tell you my opinion- in her estimation 8:55am can still put TMH at Fred Myer and associated timestamps there. I wish to be clear on this point specifically- The side door, where the students enter from the bus, is where TH was approaching with Kyron and Kitty when she noticed he did not have his backpack. The trio WAS SEEN walking away from the school (not leaving) and returned to the truck, got the backpack, returned to the exact same entrance, all PRIOR to Kyron entering his classroom, and wait for it- there is video footage of TH leaving from that door with just Kiara. I don’t know if DY has ever been told that by LE or if she is choosing to misrepresent witness accounts. But once again, I would offer- if the goal is to locate her child, wouldn’t that be better accomplished by discussing facts and relevant evidence? Kaine is also clear on this point- Kyron was in the school, as seen by multiple child and adult witnesses following TH departure- What reasonable person believes that if there was a single credible witness account showing (or pic as I have seen DY say previously) Kyron leaving with Terri that a grand jury would not have indicted her- come on?
5. There was a difference in her delivery on some questions that made me think were answered that way to avoid further questions- an example is- for the first time I have seen- when asked why she had not attended the science fair that day she said living 4 1/2 rs away in Medford was challenging at times. That was undoubtedly true- and because her previous response about month end close or whatever was not truthful considering she had only been inside Skyline school one time in all Kys 3 years of attendance- his first day of kinder. Her non verbal body languange and response regarding when Ky disappeared would be interpreted by me in an interview setting as untruthful, unfortunately. We are trained to catch when a subject seeks to release tension- its there.

That said- on her very raw emotion and guilt – it is real, it breaks my heart and if she were under proper therapeutic care she would know that bringing TH or anyone else to justice (note she does not mention finding Kyron here but I do consider edits) will never do anything for her psychologically- sometimes whether or not the child is located.
I will continue to pray for her but mostly for Kyron to be found- I believe a predator walks free. Naming that predator might show DY how there was no fault to her in protecting him from same.

When I thought yesterday about who has most to loose when Blink refers to loss
of careers due to the coverup of major investigation errors &
negligance, I thought it can’t be Frink or Schrunk–they are retired, nor teflon Staton–
he’s too detached from investigation management. That leaves Kavfre, Wall, O’Donnel, and most
of all the fulltime case-assigned ADA. Imo a political job for which a law degree is not
required (Gov’s political advisor on public safety) was created for Barker’s daughter, and imo
at the time she had no background, training, or education in public
safety in terms of the most qualified who might have applied for the job had it been competitive.
Moreover her husband also left the da’s office for a plum public safety job at OSHU. A law degree
was not required for either job. In fact, he has been succeeded recently by a formerly allegedly
troubled PPB officer he had hired. So when I think of whose license and career would be in jeopardy,
the ada assigned fulltime July 2010-2011 who handled investigation planning with O’Donnell and
associates strikes me as a candidate. Her father’s power reached to Kitzhaber. What will be her fate
with Brown? I don’t see Brown as too different from Kitz or Rosenblum when it comes to self
political interest (staying in office) as an overriding behabioral guide.

Well, that settles that then. This then brings me right back to what I was thinking when DY went public on Dr. Phil and said Kaine wouldn’t let “them” search his property. It makes me think that both LE & KH himself know that DY might just well *plant* some sort of evidence. I mean otherwise, why would KH object? He told her then and there that LE is welcome to search there again anytime.
