Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage

Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing,  Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.

Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW,  a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.

In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud-  the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper,  Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.

Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

Kyron gets hurt outside helping man. Bad hurt. As in “slips under vehicle that moves slightly to roll over boy” hurt. Any number of serious injuries can be used in this scenario. The guy backs up his car/truck and doesn’t see little Kyron standing too close and getting knocked down. Etc., etc.

Man panics, sees his future destroyed due to accidental death or permanent disability of someone else’s child, and takes Kyron off school property in his vehicle. Tragic stupid awful judgement.

I am not at all psychic and I don’t believe in psychic’s or any of the psychic stuff ghosts, people talking to dead people etc…. but

I had a dream of exactly what you describe above. It was from the perspective of Kyron. I was hiding behind a car bent down because I ran from someone and was hiding waiting for TH to return and save me. Then that car where I was hiding started to back out, that woke me up from a sound sleep.

Maybe we both saw this scenario in a move or TV show. I almost posted this theory myself because of the dream. In real life I could see a child that age hiding thinking his mom would eventually come back if he was afraid of someone. Then the person who accidentally harmed him covering it up especially if alcohol or drugs was involved.

I feel like I started a discussion from a prosecutorial framework perspective so just to weigh in- I do believe Kyron was abducted and a victim of crime- to my knowledge however, the only evidence of that are SZ witness accounts.

I truly thought after Kaine openly admitted their is a SZ last June it might be the start of some sort of acknowledgement by MCSO. Now you have the hater crater openly condemning the boss of the ADA who showed up at DY public condemnation of TH and DDS which prompted a flurry of what I will call “legal conversations” to include represented parties, The DA’s office and MCSO personnel. Can we say cross purposes?

If Kyron was accidentally run over there would surely be blood evidence present.

In my view if Kyron was injured outside the school with over 400 or so people in and out of the school it would have been witnessed by multiple individuals and yes, of course there would be residual evidence. I am pretty confident that the amount of SAR and canine teams dispatched to the crime scene/SAR post netted that Kyron left the school.

My impression of TKG & Malty’s articles was he was likely a substance abuser (article above confirms that), will take advantage of marijuana laws, & probably graduate to meth ere long. He has body image issues-he may look like much of Portland, but his “look” has not evoled or matured since high school. And he has sparse language & probably sparse thought…ie, asked his plans, he replies “doing good.” The parole board should have considered him very high risk, I would like to know what formal testing that psychiatrist commissioned & if it included projective. This result argues society is better protected by a risk opinion coming from a panel of 3 composed of psychiatrists and to include a PhD psychologist who is responsive for complete neuropsych testing.

@Malty. in my opinion this Beth Admin of MK FB fomiting hate to Terri alleging she is gulity of whatever is crazy as hell since there is no evidence Terri was anything but way better at parenting than Young, and there is evidence an unknown male abducted him.

This is the crux of my issue with her condemning TH and supporting same of DDS- If she has lost her faith in the criminal system- why perpetuate lack of progress re a known suspect?

I get it now. There’s the puzzle. If a bio mom, and her friend:coach Beth (allegedly per TKG),

If SAR used scent dogs June 4-6, I bet the scent terminated at a parking lot space, and that whole whose cars were where and what cars were near you thing was an attempt to identify the description of a vehicle in that space. If mcso concluded it was more likely than not a white truck was in that space, then imo mcso doubledowned on Terri as perp before Mathews’ story was known. But if SZ used a white truck, imo that suggests kyron was targeted, and there was a crude attempt to mislead.

  14. Rose says:

well since the Soldiers HC have targeted the DA, if there are cross purposes, you know whose
side the Soldiers support — mcso. So, it is pissible this is a planned proactive campaign because someone knew mcso was in the criticism seat and someone wanted to wrest “informal power” from the DA wrt case eval or even other political matters in the County. (imo Desiree has had many users-exploiters.)

  15. Rose says:

@Blink. Did Desiree know any times of adult stability (family home etc) before marriage to Tony about age 40?
If not, that’s a strong reason to hang on to that home.
So what would be Tony’s skin in the game of Protecting MCSO Deputies.
Is one of them in his Gun Range group activities?

This is my last post before a nap. It drives me crazy how DeDe is talked about There are no witnesses to her being anywhere near Kyron that day. Are there. Blink?

    1. There are no witnesses DDS was anywhere other than the farm she was working, there are several witnesses she was there, her phone was in her truck and off, that it never moved from its parked position, visible from the main house.

    2. There is a witness who saw DDS as they entered the property and left, during the time the phone was off. I will call him red truck artisan dude.

    3. Norm Frink told DDS to her face, in the presence of her lawyer and investigators that they knew absolutely she was not involved in any way, but thought TH was and that TH shared that info with her. This is critically important because it is evidence not even the DA nor MCSO EVER believed DDS was involved, but that TH told her something DURING the time she stayed with TH at the Horman home. Does that resonate correctly with everyone? Next day you had the Kaine/DY press conf and letter.. drafted by?? DDS told Frink she could not tell them something she did not know and was not going to lie for them. Frink told her he didn’t care if he was right or not, but he was going to make sure Kyron’s parents believed him.

    4. I have been privy to communications that would show with certainty that DDS was cleared of any involvement of, or knowledge of KY whereabouts or anyone responsible. Rees response when asked to clear her publicly was that she WAS NEVER a suspect and I have seen communication of same to the representatives of the parties in this matter.

Yes Rose, it is, empirically and potentially symptomatically. At the very least I am confident it is proper to exclude inappropriate behavior in the environment of a child when assessing any possible malady of any origin in a 7 year old.

I feel so bad for DY. She really can not go against the establishment because her husband is the establishment. If she focuses on KH he more than likely has some type of information about her that he can throw in her face. She may have had difficulty rationalizing going after the school since they would show she was an absent parent as far as Kyron’s education there.
That left TH. She was the least likely to hurt her. This could have been a completely subconscious rationale. I have no doubt the loss of her second son has deeply scarred her. I so hope she is getting sound advise right now and that would account for any silence she may be showing.

For Tony to think he should be more than that to her–and tell the public so– is arrogant, intrusive, & narcissistic.

I am not positive, but I believe it was their first meeting. I don’t even think they were married a year in June 2010. I don’t blame Tony’s suspicion albeit fueled my common peers.

    —————————————————————-

I have written – but never posted – several posts about Asperger’s. I didn’t post them because I wasn’t sure they were relevant. I’m still not. I am very familiar with Asperger’s in children and adults, both personally and professionally. Of course, no one can evaluate Kyron now, although I suppose a very knowledgeable person could, if given complete access (highly unlikely) to family history, daily life including school, behaviors etc. etc. since birth, develop a sort of risk assessment for various possible issues he may have had.

When I think of what I’ve heard about Kyron, it reminds me most of my grandson and how his mother and I still have concerns every day about his lack of danger awareness, although it’s improving. From birth, he never paid close or repeated attention to any faces or expressions (poor eyesight might have the same effect as other causes). He frequently remembered names but not connected to their owners. He was considered a “bolter” in preschool and continued for years to be attracted to things he was interested in and quite confident he should be able to pursue those interests with or without supervision. (He “recognized” the kids in preschool by the color of their shoes.) He’s better now, not because he has changed his beliefs, but because he has had years of play therapy, social skills training, strict supervision, communication among all the adults in his life, and remarkable parenting – and to his credit, he really wants to know “the rules of life” and what’s appropriate and what isn’t. He’s very bright, and funny. Still, even at age 10, if you met him somewhere and found the right suggestion (Legos, robots, Minecraft, etc.), you could pretty easily direct him wherever you wanted him to go.

I realize this is generally true of many young children, but it’s also a matter of degree, whether they make regular progress, how obvious it is to an observer, and how difficult it is to help them to be safe. Kids have to learn not to wander off, but with some it takes more teaching and practice than with others. One would not expect kids Kyron’s age in a regular classroom to be wandering off outside the school, or disappearing to the bathroom without stopping to ask. (I think that sometimes changes back again in high school. :) )

IMO, the “help me carry something in” was not particularly for Kyron’s benefit – he probably would have gone for any number of reasons/interests. I think that was for the teacher’s benefit – it is a simple request, something we ask kids to do every day – particularly in school, sports, and other organized activities – and it implies you will be right back.

I sincerely appreciate you sharing that about your grandson MBS. I have to believe with the interaction between TH and Porter, the fact that TH is trained to monitor/manage elementary level child behavior and one of her best friends was a special ed teacher working with children diagnosed with a variety of spectral disorders there was certainly enough present to begin the evaluation process. It is my understanding the age of 7 is fairly late for that- is that yours?

  30. RedRose says:

Considering some of the things/behaviors Kyron may have witnessed in his home, isn’t it entirely possible that he was “acting out”?
I don’t suppose either parent would think that “they/their own behavior” would have anything to do with his spacey actions?

I felt Kyron’s ped was subpar for several reasons in terms of his medical advice to Terri, publically disclosed, for both children. Perhaps Desiree first chose this pediatrician, & the Hormans just stayed there. With his vision issue, imo Kyron deserved more.

High-tech crimes task force founder charged

    snips>

The former Central Point police lieutenant who founded and headed the Southern Oregon High-Tech Crimes Task Force faces official misconduct and computer-crime charges alleging he knowingly altered or damaged a police computer or software in 2012.

Moulin said he was placed on leave while Central Point police conducted an internal investigation into the management of the unit. He resigned from the department two months later after accepting a cyber-security job with a federal defense contractor in a Nevada city he declined to identify.

Other agencies heard about the work the department was doing and asked for assistance and training. For the next two years, Moulin worked with the other agencies by himself.

In 2007, Medford police assigned a detective to the task force full time while adding more equipment and resources. A year later, the then-small division was providing services to 53 law enforcement agencies around the state. Eventually the task force was contacted by the FBI.

Medford, Ore. — Twin brothers Don and Jason Libby, owners of Jackson County Security, have both been cleared of separate false criminal charges stemming from different encounters with the Medford Police Department (MPD). MPD manufactured claims that the two bothers committed serious crimes, and they were eventually arrested and charged.

Jason Libby’s case was dismissed on June 27, just before trial. Don Libby was found innocent of all charges on Sept. 3 (also the date of his wedding anniversary) following a three-day trial.

MPD’s “threats and harassment” against the Libby brothers dates back “over 13 years” according to Don Libby. He said: “We have been wrongfully arrested five times and never convicted.”

There is clearly a history there- I wonder if Medford allows moonlighting for private security. In a case I worked on a few years ago it literally ended up where 7 officers were suspended and the dept regs changed because officers were on duty, but running their security checks.
