Robin Hood Alive in Orlando – Mark Nejame Rewards Roy Kronk $5K

Posted by BOC Staff | Caylee Anthony Case | Thursday 15 January 2009 9:52 pm

I received this email this afternoon from Dave Earl, attorney for Roy Kronk:
Roy_KronkMARK NEJAME REWARDS ROY KRONK ,000 FOR DISCOVERING CAYLEE

Roy Kronk is very appreciative to Mark NeJame for his generous gift of $5,000. Apparently, Mr. NeJame received $5,000 for his earlier involvement in the case and has decided that since Roy did find Caylee, the money should appropriately go  to him. Roy is very thankful that Mark NeJame has recognized his singular efforts in finding Caylee and hopes that this sends a message to others that kindness does exist
for people who do the right thing in life.

David Evans
Attorney for Roy Kronk

In the interest of disclosure, Mark Nejame is a personal friend and colleague of mine and my husband’s.
We did not start out that way, however.

I was like most, “how could you represent those people, blah blah, Don’t you know, blah blah ?..” Without going into specifics , he did represent them and very well and in my opinion was the best thing going for them and they blew it. We have been on opposite sides of a few issues,  but  I ended up being right on every one of them and now we are buds cause that’s how I roll.

Kidding.

Mark is an extremely bright attorney and a devoted family man; He beamed when he spoke of his children and his wife. He has old-style European charm and  sincere confidence rarely found in a man with his beginnings.  He is self-made, and self-aware.

When Mark discussed the possibility of giving Mr. Kronk this award a few weeks ago, I Mark-NeJameemailed him with the red alert code and dialed the bat phone. Not so fast, let’s chat first. Keep in mind, at that time, Jim Hoover had not come forward and this was looking like a very different scenario altogether. I was suspect of Kronk and I did not want to see Mark do something that might come back to him. We were scheduled to chat a few times in last 2 weeks but our schedules keep conflicting.  Which, I am thankful for, because I would have attempted to talk Mark out of his generous deed, he would have politely told me:

What ev uh, I do what I want. Don’t you have someone else’s house to haunt at this hour? Are you staying out of trouble this week?

So, to my friend Mark, I say, as I am the bigger person, literally and figuratively playin’ of course he is taller in person, does not wear a toupee or color his hair or eyebrows or whatever other crap was said about him in the beginning:

You were right, and I was wrong. I am again moved by your compassion, genorosity and commitment to stand for what’s right. That being said, if you take a call from Dominic Casey, we are breaking up. A definite boundry issue for me.

Congratulations to Mr. Kronk.

Best of luck to Dom Casey explaining who was on the phone.

    Thanks, Blink 34 :)

Thanks Hope. Never been a big crow eater”", but in this case..

I hope Mr. Kronk uses the money to help out his family, like he helped Caylee,” by finding her.

    fingers crossed.”

Wonder if it was garnished ???

I am so happy that Mr Kronk finally received some reward money. And thanks to Mr. Nejame he did. I prayed and prayed that somehow, someone would find poor little Caylee. Thank God it was you. Mr. Nejame is a very good human being, who did do a nice thing. You are also a good man Mr. Kronk. Thank you for not giving up on Caylee. In my opinion, I wish you could have received $100,000. I’m glad to see good things happen to good, caring people. You did what your instincts were telling you. Always be proud of how much you helped Caylee and many of us out here who, like you, became so fond of Caylee.

YUK…watched the entire 45 min video of snivelling Casey…sure hope she will be convicted SOON…POX on the person from Melbourne Australia who is putting money in her commish A/C…with your approval I hope this person will come on this blog and explain WHY!!!

  6. Blink34 says:

Buster, I am hopeful the reward will end up helping 2 families. Caylee for being found, and Mr. Kronk’s son. It would definately be subject to back child support, as would the money he got from any images that is unconfirmed.

A decent thing to do for a decent man who took a lot of heat for being kind and helping out.

    Bravo

P.S. NeJame also quit representing C.Anthony for obvious reasons…he has morals and values perhaps? When it was written all over the wall, NeJame (although it didn’t take a Rocket Scientist to figure this out)- knew well enough that he was being lied to by his client, their family and that CA’s ass was grass so-to-speak in a matter of time. Had it been in it for any fame or noteriety at all (like the scumbag Baez) he would have hung around even to have negative publicity. Kudos to a criminal/defense Attorney for setting himself above the
orm”" and chosing to depart. That man can certainly put his head on the pillow at night comfortably knowing he did the right thing.”

  8. brie. says:

I would like to think more people might come forward and help Roy, Padilla said he is thinking about giving him a reward….maybe the citizens of Orlando will take up a collection for him since he helped resolve what happened to Caylee and didn’t give up…

  9. junebug says:

I think Mr. Kronk maybe did a little investigating on his own, because in his position he probably would have known all the customers names and which houses are vacant. I just don’t understand why he wasn’t persistant enough to SHOW authorities exactly what he saw and where it was located. ???? How long was this house vacant? Why was pi searching there in the garbage? Has Casey been accounted for every night by her friends that she supposedly stayed with, the whole month before Caylee’s disappearance? If not, Maybe she was living at this vacant house…she and Caylee were close and that’s why George and Cindy didn’t worry about it. Who was supporting Casey and Caylee the month before her disappearance? It seems like the whole town knew Casey, did Kronk? How long did he work in this area? Have neighbors been questioned about this house and what they saw? And who and why were so many pictures taken of Casey partying? (right after Caylee went missing) Seems like someone is exploiting her to me. (for what reason?) I saw a picture of Casey on the internet and one of her male friends had KILL tattooed across his fingers!! Who is he? I don’t think ANYONE should profit from this child’s death! Even finding her remains. I think Kronk knows more than he is telling!! Seems like he intercepted the pass from someone else! If he was reaing meters he definitely would have access to information about the area!! and customers!!!

junebug – smoke another one! LOL!

    Whatever!

  11. JZB23 says:

Something very suspicious about Mr. Kronk. At the very least he knew the body was there every time he called authorites. Hes not as dumb as he lets on.

  12. angela says:

June bug, the pictures of KC partying were from two professional photographers. Both said they are paid by area clubs to photograph parties. Don’t know why>>> would the club sell the pics to the party people?? Saw the photog on tv.

  13. HOPE says:

There are more things that are suspicious about the crime scene than the fact that Mr. Kronk found it. Don’t blame him because an officer for LE didn’t investigate his reports. If there were anything suspicious, it was the officer’s in-action, not the action taken by Mr. Kronk.

The dumb thing to do would have been to just go on about your business and ignore your own instincts. No doubt, Mr. Kronk is a smart man and suspected that Casey dumped her child ‘close to home’. It takes a man with a big heart to sacrifice his own well-being and privacy for a child he never knew. In fact, it takes a hero to do that. :)

  14. Susan says:

Hope – You are so full of yourself and self-righteous at that!! YOU, AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE HERE, have only heard KRONK’S VERSION of what took place after those 911 calls!! You do not know for a fact that the officers didn’t respond in an appropriate manner nor have you heard their side of what happened. You are only assuming that’s what happen just because CREEPY KRONK said so!! That doesn’t make it the gospel…

You know what they say about opinions – they are like a$$holes and we all have one ;-)

I’ve been commenting here too long and care too much about the VICTIMS to let people like you and scott run me off :-)

  15. Susan says:

Comparing Creepy Kronk to Robinhood? What a joke…lmao!! I thought Robinhood stole from the rich and gave to the poor? No comparison between the two.

  16. HOPE says:

    Susan:

Sorry… I read the article and don’t think that Kronk is being compared to Robin Hood, but you’re entitled to your opinion.

As far as Kronk is concerned… I think Red said it best. You are entitled to your opinion, as long as it’s not laced with obscenities and personal attacks. No… I’m not perfect. I have eaten crow on more than one occasion. But a truly righteous person is one that can admit that he was wrong and eat crow with humility. None of us are right all the time, not even you.

Any attempts by you to link me into this little war that you’re having with Scott or EVERYONE else is not going to work. I’m not interested in name calling, nor am I interested in giving Scared Monkeys a bad name by participating in such childish actions. Call it self-righteous, if you must; but in my opinion, it’s self-control.

Please take the time to re-read what I posted about you. I don’t have anything against you, never did and never will. It is not you that is being attacked, it’s your point of view. :)

  17. HOPE says:

    P.S. to #16:

Please take the time to listen to Dana’s commentary posted today.

  18. pax says:

    Hope,
I asked you a bunch of questions on another thread and never heard back from you.

Can you clear up some of your writings that she was
    taped to her car sear
the Anthony’s laid her to rest and the dump site
and had a memorial there with teddy bears and flowers
she died of a broken neck even though the ME said there is no manner of death and no broken bones before or after death
that she was a beaten child

    thanks

  19. Susan says:

My bad…I misread the title :-) I am big enough to admit when I’m wrong. So, Mark Nejame is being compared to Robinhood? This can’t be! It’s not the rich taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

  20. Susan says:

    # 16 – Hope – are you saying I’m at war with everyone here? The only two people I’ve had cross words with in the past two years have been scottie boy and yoyo muffintop. Another false statement on your part.

  21. Susan says:

And Hope, your statement about I’m not being attacked, but my point of view is is a crock. My point of view is a part of me. Can you please say things that makes sense?

  22. HOPE says:

    Pax:

I already laid out my theory in a previous thread.

Please remember, the police don’t always release all information to the public in regards to manner of death or missing items in hopes that they can nail someone who has knowledge of the crime. Beyond that, all I can say is I have my sources.

Many of my posts are made for the benefit of Klaas who is fully aware of ‘key’ words in my postings. She monitors everything I post. If we are to believe that Casey is revealing the truth in the things that she is saying about Zanny; what else could the conversation about Zanny’s car seat, being the one with the ‘flowers’ on it, be referring to? I’ll find you a link regarding the book that was found at the scene, unless you’ve already seen it.(?)

All I can say is I have my sources.

    Justice for Caylee!

#20-Susan—-Just so you know—many bloggers here have had words with YoYo Sh*thead…join the club! Really arrogant, all-knowing so every once in awhile he/she gets told off to the pleasure of many who post here. Every once in a blue moon YoYo may say something that makes sense or is actually factual, but this is a rare occurance and YoYo loves to argue & stir up the pot. Generally, we just tell YoYo off & don’t let him rattle the Monkey cage….In the real world—does anyone honestly CARE or lose any sleep over it? Highly doubtful.

    =)

  25. Susan says:

ANewGirl – I’ve noticed how others blast yoyo muffintop every time he post. What did yoyo do to get a negative reaction here?

  26. pax says:

    Hope-
You are writing in code for Klaas? As in Polly Klaas? What???

You said she had a broken neck, the medical examiner isn’t going to lie on tv about that. That isn’t holding back info, it’s lying.

Flowers in the car seat? Don’t know about that and you said she was taped to her car seat and beaten, now if your secret source wants you leaking that in code than fine, but I don’t believe that she was beaten, had her neck broken and taped to her car seat and then thrown there.

    jmo

  27. yoyo muffintop says:

Susan – some here a free thinkers, so to speak. Yorself as an example. Others it seems are lemmings – crush anyone that might have a different opinion than the collective. Must be an internet thing – I cannot possible believe they live their lives like that in real life. But who knows.

#24 – ease up there babydoll.

    Go Cardinals.

  28. yoyo muffintop says:

    Hope/whateveryournameistoday – very strange. Hmmm.

Many of my posts are made for the benefit of Klaas who is fully aware of ‘key’ words in my postings. She monitors everything I post.”"

That’s a very bizarre post. I hope “”Klaas”" locks their doors real tight.”

  29. Susan says:

yoyo – Thanks for the compliment :-)

I’ve noticed that some here are a bit narrow minded and refuse to accept other possibilities. You are right about those who attempt to crush anyone with different opinions.

I also agree with you that it must be an internet thing. People think they can say anything sitting behind their computer monitors, no matter how offensive it may be. But the truth is some things said here would never be said face to face for fear of getting their butts kicked.

I’ve gotta turn in for the night. I’m heading to Mississippi in the morning for a couple of days of R and R :-) Hope you have a good night. Take care!

  30. PA Mom says:

This $5000.00 reward will come just in time to cover his legal defense fees. Isn’t this disgusting. I agree with Mr. Kronk in this world of upside down morals. No good deed goes unpunished.

  31. yoyo muffintop says:

#30 Susan – never stepped foot in that state but I love to spell it out loud :) …have fun

  32. ANewGirl says:

#28- Yoyo- As in the past, you are free to post your own opinions and beliefs. As I said, sometimes I can see things you point out—but don’t expect me to agree with everything you post, either. I’d like to consider myself as an open-minded liberal thinker as well who is always willing to hear both sides–but I’m not going to change my general belief system any more than you are…that’s what makes us all individuals.

I don’t have to ease up, either but thanks for referring to me as BabyDoll…that’s kind of nice.

    Have a great day.

  33. pax says:

Hmpf, so Hope, no answers? All I ever ask you is how or why you come up with stuff, not to be mean but am seriously curious.

Ok, Klaas is a mod, was a bit worried there, thanks for clearing that up Susan.

Okey dokey then, need to watch last nights NG still.

    Have a great weekend all!!

  34. ANewGirl says:

    #31-

See YoYo- I do agree w/some of what you post! I agree—there is no need in the world for Deadbeat parents who don’t pay child support. When either party brings children into this world as a couple, then no longer co-habitate together-whoever is the Primary Care Parent raising the children deserves to get compensation for this—afterall—it’s for the kids!!

  35. Richard says:

Remember, folks, what we’re here for (in my opinion, anyway) is not to deride each other, but to put our united ingenuity to use for answers.

  36. Blink34 says:

I so hope we all take a second look at Richard’s post. Lets all use our collective powers for good.

    Fondly,
    Blink

  37. Minnie Penney says:

So glad to hear good things about Mr. Cronk. He is a real hero and at the start he was being ripped by some people. People were calling in accusing him of being the killer – “Well, what was he doing in the woods?” Taking a p**s you old crone !!!!! That’s what I hollered at the TV. Roy, you’re a hero !!!! Thanks, Blink
