This morning at 9am, Lee Anthony arrived at the offices of John Morgan Law Firm with his attorney Thomas Luka. He was dressed in jeans and a white polo shirt and did not look at or speak directly with any media. Contrary to earlier releases, the press was not invited to join the deposition but was seated in view of the proceeding through large windows. Attorney John Morgan intends to file a motion to compel testimony in the case as Lee Anthony refused to answer all questions put forth to him in the three hour deposition.  Not surprisingly, we learn the crux of what the defense intends to present at trial. Casey is going with the “I was threatened by Zenaida at Blanchard Park” by Zenaida, but not this Zenaida theory. Lee admitted his sister lied to him and the OCSO about dropping Caylee off at Sawgrass as she originally told them; a fact she shared when she was first released on bond from prison. For the sixth time, the girlfriend of Haleigh Cummings father, Misty Croslin, was picked up and escorted to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office for another Interview yesterday. A source inside the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed she was there in excess of three hours; without any comment from PCPD. For the record, I challenge anyone to find a case where a person has been interviewed this many times in a missing person’s case with no complicity of any kind; real or imagined.

At Risk or Endangered Missing Adult: Where is Jason Holley? Missing in Colorado Springs, CO Since January 5, 2009

 
Jason Holley, 22, appears to have almost literally vanished the morning of January 5, 2009 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was a 3rd year student at Pike’s Peak Community College in the Automotive Program and by all accounts, was an extremely affable, albeit shy young man. Jason worked very hard to overcome  his learning challenges to master his studies and become an Automotive Tech; in spite of his cognitive disorder,  Klinefelter Syndrome. One of the difficulties for him is that it causes him to have short term memory loss.  Jan Holley, Jason’s Mother, with whom he shared a close relationship, has recently had to return to her work in the Medical field after exhausting her savings in efforts to find her son, costs that have currently exceeded $10,000.

“I moved with Jason to Colorado Springs in 2003 because he needed special education,  and was having an extremely difficult time with school. It was a very hard move for me  because Durango was my home for 25 years, but it was worth it, since Jason has been  happy here. With the help of his learning specialist Phil McLelland, Jason has been  attending the automotive program at Pike’s Peak Community College, taking only one  class at a time.”

His mom also says he tends to trust people he shouldn’t, and is not able to tell good people from someone who might be intentionally taking advantage of him, which had occurred recently. She fears he is with someone who could take advantage of his disability.

“This is not like him. He’s never gone from home for more than 24 hours,” said Jan Holley.

Jason Holley was sleeping in his downstairs bedroom on that Monday morning, the day he disappeared when Jan went to work. A couple hours later, she says she got a phone call from him asking if he could go to a friend’s house.  He never showed up at that friend’s house and has been missing ever since. He has not logged onto his myspace or attempted to contact any of his friends or family; which is highly unusual given his condition.

Kindness of Strangers

While in prison, Casey Anthony continues to receive donations to her commissary account, largely from strangers. Over $1000 is currently in her commissary account, and the donors come from Florida and all over the U.S.  A High School student following the coverage of Caylee’s Memorial Service on February 10, sent $25 big ones. The Senior, a 15 year old gifted student felt moved by George Anthony’s requests at the memorial to think kindly upon Caylee’s mother. It is not known what the student is “gifted” in, but one might make the assumption it is not in character assessment 101 or forensics.

Padilla on Notice

On Friday, February 20, 2009 Leonard received the nastygram from David Evans, attorney for Roy Kronk.  Evans, originally hired to represent Kronk in matters relating to finding Caylee Anthony’s remains on the job, seems to have gone where no man has gone before: Lenny is quiet. At press time, Leonard has not returned calls for comment.

Evans is quite clear in his correspondence that his office will be reviewing Padilla’s past statements as well as any future comments regarding Mr. Kronk while contemplating civil action. Sources close to Padilla have confirmed that Leonard has been investigating Kronk’s account of finding Caylee’s remains and does not see an issue with it. He believes it is possible the meter reader may have been tipped off via his “daisy chain” theory, unknowingly.

Haleigh Cummings, the beaming kindergartner from Satsuma, Florida has been missing since early morning February 10, 2009. The Police have classified her case as abduction, although all foot-search teams have been called off. Yesterday, both of her parents were escorted separately to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office for an undisclosed meeting. A press conference later in the day did not reveal any new information and most reporter questions were met with a “no comment”

Registered Sex Offender Arrested

Timothy Randolph Loucakis, was arrested yesterday afternoon on a probation violation at 12:36 PM.
