Haleigh Cummings, the beaming kindergartner from Satsuma, Florida has been missing since early morning February 10, 2009. The Police have classified her case as abduction, although all foot-search teams have been called off. Yesterday, both of her parents were escorted separately to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office for an undisclosed meeting. A press conference later in the day did not reveal any new information and most reporter questions were met with a “no comment”

Registered Sex Offender Arrested

Timothy Randolph Loucakis, was arrested yesterday afternoon on a probation violation at 12:36 PM.

It was reported he was arrested for a curfew violation and Bail has not been posted. There has been a substantial amount of research on several registered sex offenders in the area. At this time, Police are unable to connect Loucakis in any way to Haleigh’s disappearance, but he has not been excluded as he was in the vicinity the evening Haleigh was believed to be abducted.

Tennesee Sighting. Cousin Joe under investigation

Misty Croslin’s cousin, being referred to currently as “Joe”, is currently under investigation by the FBI as to any possible connection to Haleigh’s disappearance.

From her interview on the Today Show  with Matt Lauer:

“I just don’t trust him, he’s pretty much been a criminal his whole life.”

According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, they have confirmed they have spoken to Joe, but will not comment as to whether or not he is a sexual offender. Joes myspace is here
