I can’t verify that, but it is beautiful and I wanted to share it with you today. I am hearing an arrest in this case is imminent with lots of sordid details to follow, so just for this morning, I wanted to focus just on Sandra.

Sandra was a beautiful child and will always remain a beautiful spirit. Words cannot express how sorry I am for the family’s loss. I am praying for you.
We can see how happy a child Sandra seemed to be. Somebody did a wonderful job raising this little girl. The whole nation, and maybe the world, wanted her found safe. It is very hard to remember at this time that Sandra is safe now and happy and we are left to be sad. We pray for your family to find comfort in the days to come. As a people we must use our sadness to find new ways to keep our children safe, in the name of yet another child gone.
I am so saddened by your loss. She was a beautiful girl who is an Angel now. In her short life she touched so many hearts, prayers are with you at this time of grief. Bless you and your family.

*My second thought is that you should celebrate Sandra’s life without the images of the missing posters. That wasn’t part of who she was, but rather a reminder of the dastardly deeds done by a sick and ugly person. I hope that this doesn’t offend the person who put the video together. I’m certain that his/her intentions were pure. I just would want to see my loved one memorialized with all the happy events, these things remain on youtube forever. Dear Family,
I want to express my sincere sadness for your loss. God will be with you. And Sandra is with him….so she will be with you also.
This sweet little girl has touched or hearts in a way that can not be explained in simple words.
Sandra will not be forgotten. She will be loved and held in the hearts of all of us, this I promise.
We live in Modesto and on the first Saturday that lovely little Sandra was missing we loaded up our children and drove the 45 min to Tracy to help in any way we could. We handed out fliers of a smiling, beautiful girl and told of her terrified and hopeful family who was searching for her.
I hope you (her family) know that this entire community, not just Tracy but all of the Valley, mourn your enormous loss not only now but for years to come.

I can’t imagine your hearts right now and I know there are no words . . . but please know that Sandra life had a purpose. She was a beautiful little girl that has touched many people’s hearts. Even in her short life there was a reason for her being here. Your family is in my prayers.

Why does this continue to happen to our children, one of God’s most precious gifts? We must not stand idly by, watching and listening in horror time and time again, as yet another innocent child falls prey to crimes committed by sick adults. We have to find a way to protect all children at all cost!!
