Do Not GO Gentle Into That Good Night
Christine Marie Sheddy arrived at the Farmhouse the evening of November 2nd. She was murdered there during a party on November 12, 2007. The following is a chronicle of what happened in between.
November 2
After days of myspace messages reflecting a serious breakup between Levi and Christine and the ensuing argument with her Mom, Christine packs up and makes arrangements for Q and the boys to meet Jr. and Tia. Q met them in the parking lot of the Milford, DE WalMart. It is believed they drove that far to meet her there because Christine had no idea how to give Q directions, approximately a 1.5 hour drive.
November 4
Levi is still looking for Christine. Christine tells Q she is rounding up tin at Jr and Tia request to sell for cash.
By all accounts, Tia and Christine are chums.
They were headed out shortly to sell it to a buyer.
November 5
Christine and JR have an argument, he tells her she needs to pull her weight if she is going to stay there. He later describes the argumentment.
November 6
Christine calls Lynn for the boys social security numbers as JR has told her if she wants to stay, she needs to apply for Government asisstance immediately and contribute to the household.
(important note: Christine specifically does not call Levi on this, although he most certainly has a record of the boys social security numbers from the year before where he claimed the kids on his tax returns, who did not live with him, prepared by his mom, Joyce. who got a $4,000 cut while Levi smoked the other $2500. I saw the email where Christine learns of this as she was under the impression that money was for a starter house fund.
November 8
Q is speaking to Christine daily, she is chopping wood outside today for a fire.
November 9
The Farmhouse occupants are burning wood in the wood stove. Steve 
Magg shows up. A Flue fire results in a hole burned in the roof, the fire department is called and they put it out, into the early am. A Volunteer Firefighter named Serge later tells detectives during a search on the farm that he remembered Christine the night of that fire. She was crying because there had been puppies and dogs there she was afraid for.
November 10
Christine calls her sister Jennifer, explains her misery in the farmhouse, and arrangements are made for her and the boys stay with her and her then fiancee’, Paul.
Jr. calls the father of one of Tia’s children and asks if he can keep the child another day due to the chimney fire, and the required clean up.
A direct witness, speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com arrives at the Farmhouse upon hearing of the fire early evening. He has met Christine previously on the farm. He approaches the house and noticed Christine had peeked out the window to see who it was.
As he was approaching the door to knock, he notices Christine locks both doors. He tells her who is, reminds her they met, and tells her he wanted to take a look at the damage. She opens the door, leaving the screen locked and they chat for a second before she lets him in to see the damage.
Christine was home alone with her boys Isaac and Zeke, who were sitting on the couch. She was cleaning up the fire mess on her own, and hanging plastic from the walls. Jr and Tia had gone out to a party or club. When I asked him to describe Christine’s demeanor, he told me “She was scared.” I said, do you mean perhaps she did not recognize you? He replied, “no I got the sense that she was scared of something.”
November 11
Another party at the Farmhouse, day before Veterans day. At about 6 PM there were already 15–20 people there. There was a trough filled with ice and beer set up in the outbuilding, and a fire raging in the burn pit.
JR was filling bottles and cans with gas, ripped pieces of cloth and lighting them and throwing them in the fire making explosions for his amusement while there were kids running around. (pictued above Jennifer Waters Johnson)
November 12
Possibly, Christine spoke to her sister this day. Q speaks to Christine 
after 9PM. He is concerned and asks Christine if he should come get her. She said Levi is coming. She did not say when, or for what reason.
They say goodnight and Christine bathed the boys and put them to bed.
Q was due to call her back that evening, he did not reach Christine. Q heard the equivalent of “cat calls” during their conversation. Very, very loud.
Christine is murdered.

#192, I agree with your post. Lynn has been through a lot over the last two years, she does not need to put up with crazed posters. Lynn and family, you are in my constant prayers.
How often would Steve visit the farmhouse? Was the reason he showed up, because he knew Christine would be there? Was he wanting to hookup with her by chance and that freaked her out?
#197 I think they had to call someone because of the 2 boys. Also, if Levi smoked up over $2500.00 – he was not just in the middle of starting hard drugs, IMO.
I am kind of shocked that when Levi found out she was at the farm he didn’t go get her and the kids immediately. I would think he would have been mad and would have still tried to “control” her actions.

Good morning all,
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement, they are very much appreciated. However, I have to tell you that I dont think that I am doing anything amazing. I am just a mom trying to bring my daughter home. I couldn’t have come this far without my family and friends. As far as the other site and my grownup approach to the negative poster….I called everyone I knew and ranted like a mad woman before I answered. Thanks to my support system I was able to think more clearly and put an end to a battle that didnt have to be fought. I can tell you what is amazing, the fact that God has given me a husband that stands by me and supports me in everything, a family that loves me and will help whenever and wherever I need them. New friends that have come into my life, to stand by me and my family, with one goal, and that is to find Christine. God has not forgotten me, look at all the help he has provided for us. We are a small army, we will fight the good fight and win…. with Gods blessings.
I guess I have rambled on enough, I just wanted to let everyone know that my family and I appreciate all of you standing beside us. Thank You!!
Michelle, Tia’s reason for doing nothing OR participating that night may have been for more sinister reasons. Could be she took some twisted pleasure in seeing another woman being abused other than herself. Projecting her anger (that she denies to even herself) towards JR onto Christine. Kinda the “so long as it’s not me” attitude. Besides, Christine had the courage to WANT to leave the old life behind and that probably made Tia jealous. Not only was Christine prettier, but gutsier, and a harder worker. Would certainly threaten Tia’s ego and status as some sort of queen bee in her own mind.
re:181…Considering that no one “forced” her to go to Tn. says alot to me. She is involved, knows “who did it” and that “someone” doesn’t want to let her out of his sight. I hope and pray that Tn. LE is driving past where they are staying night and day. Spook them big time.
I’m sure they are not going without their drugs…wish LE could do a drug bust.

Did the people who reported that she was murdered say what led up to it?
If not, the thing that would interest me the most is what has set people off in the past. Since they all have domestic violence backgrounds that info might narrow things between the suspects.
Wondering if the police records give a thorough description in the old cases.
I cant really comment on that specifically, no, sorry. What I can say is that Chapter 6 will bring us to where we are now

I have been reading Post here for several months, never commented…., the Anthony case, the Cantu case, Ocasio case, and now this one pops up, i can not imagine these stories and how the perps get away with so much and have to account for so less. these are lives that were once a part of other lives, these were people intermingles in a society and were something where they were to someone. i have one question, i feel stupid for asking, but i have always beleived if someone hurt someone belonging to me or injustice was done against me or my kind, justice would prevail, it seems all of these nut jobs just get off until things make sense to the cops…where is the justice in that? do we really have narcistic lying going on in our governments that are suppose to protect us? i hate to sound niave? please help me understand? i am so sorry these tragic events have happen, it is not fair. We need to do something. How in the world does these get off about the night of the party, how in the world do they get off without having to recount every detail, and each story colaborating with the next. i cant see the cops being able to cover 15-20 stories not jiving with each other, i just do not understand. Btw, i love the light you shed and the unconcivable unmentionables you bring light on, it make us niave sheltered ones know there are wolves in sheeps clothing….some of us do not see the writing on the walls, we want to see the good in others. I hope i never have to pay the price you have to be so strong, to feel strong and to have Gods glory shine the way you have, you are amazing. You have paid the ultimate price. Under these circumstances is so wrong (people should NOT be getting away with this and feeling good about it), but the message is so right, we have to find away to put the bad past us and fight the good fight and bring christine home!

I hope that you are getting lots of info from the others that know Jr and Tia, now that they have both run to TN. It appears those individuals in TN who are aware of this case have their ear to the ground and are watchig them closely.

I was thinking- Tia will never talk as long as she’s with JR. A lot of cold cases are solved after the women breaks away from the perp. The people that were there that night- they need to find the one they can give immunity to that will talk and assure safety.
I read the whole Pocomoke Tattler. Lots of vile, Monday morning quarterbacking going on there. Made me sick. Ms Lookingass I guess never got in an abusive relationship. It doesn’t start with beatings. Lord NO woman would stay there. It’s much more subtle, much much more evil. It’s isolation, overpowering hovering, tearing down piece by piece until you lose your whole sense of identity.
Some parts of Christine’s mirror’s my life. I see Christine was in process of building on that tiny piece of herself that was inside. She was ready to return to school.
I imagine the first time she met Tia- Tia was sweeeet as honey- “Oh come on and stay with us any time you need.” She made Christine feel welcome, etc. It probably didn’t take but a bit of time there to figure out that was a mistake.
Okay Blink- Equusearch…will they search? Oh it hurts not to be able to be there and search and help..sigh.-

I used to be security (bouncer) in a local rough bar and I can tell you that it’s the drugs and alcohol. The smallest thing will lead to “it” I have personally removed several guns from drunk/high hands that started from a simple “look” or a simple pool game shot.
I cannot list the small things that will set-off the impaired and they don’t have to be bad-boys either.
Anywho, take some really bad people to begin with add drugs and alcohol and outside the ‘publibeye’ and it’s a mix for disaster where anything is possible in their warped mind.
Blink- what ever came of the application for Government assistance. Did Christine ever file or did anyone find an application at the farm house? Just wondering how far that went and if anyone is receiving benefits for HER children at the moment.

I’m still thinking about what christine told serge about her being afraid (for) some puppies. She does not say afraid (of). IDK maybe that is what she meant, but something about that phrase disturbs me.
I work with a girl who would fall prey to this type of lifestyle. Like Christine (was) she is beautiful and kind and a wonderful mother. It is as if these sorry “sacks” smell the insecurities of hard working tender hearted people from a mile away. Luckily for her she got out and is now in a wonderful relationship but I swear anytime I hear someone judge her I go “Red Wendy” on them. It is just something that happens to good people too!!!!!!! Joyce…..honey child……your day is near. I have known people of your not so caliber and I have watched misery and hate destroy their very beings…..good luck with that. Levi may those boys always carry the very piece of their mother that you were so hell bent on destroying and grow up one day to learn that YOU are exactly what they DO NOT want to be. To Christine’s mom – You are the epitome of courage. On those days when you are trying to be your best and staying strong may God’s Grace be with you. I believe in Heaven and I believe your daughter is their building your grandchildren (all 3) the BEST play house EVER.

Wendy, nah, I don’t think that Christine is building a play house in Heaven. I am sure God has that part covered in the mansions He has been preparing for Christine and her kids. Nope, Christine will never have to do things like building a play house alone ever again.

219, Public Eye, you are right. Once alcohol and drugs are involved, it is often a small thing that sets things off.
But when people know each other, the seemingly small trigger is often the tip of an iceberg of something already simmering underneath – like JR’s sense of Christine “owing” him or like Justin’s wanting sex with her.

Wondering if Tia’s mother’s property was searched? Reading between the lines from the jumbled mess of a posting from JR I am thinking she’s not buried on the original property.

Joyce and Levi spent roughly an hour at the farm on 11/13. It would’nt take an hour to get the boys and their stuff. So they may have heard the truth, that christine was killed, during that visit. Ok, obvious clue to knowledge.
i just wanted to know if anyone is goin to take a look at the space where theres no grass growing,…..it is a very sad story, i went to school with her although never did talk to her, she did seemed to be nice….
Charles Timothy Johnson charged with attempted 1st & 2nd degree murder 6/26/02 Baltimore. Also charged with attempted assault on 3/5/09 which occured on 12/22/08. OH MY. CHARMING.

Cindy, my guess is the LE and investigators who are working this case know they’re close to learning the location…probably have a good idea.
It’s clear more than one person (unlike in the Casey Anthony’s case) were present when Christine was hidden where ever they took her. Someone will bend or give a description of an area which they’ll search. Either that or something will be concluded from the texting, myspace postings, cell pings, etc. I think she’ll be found sooner than later.
Domo posted on the pocomoke tattler blogs he met christine on 11/9 or 11/10 but he does not mention the fire on 11/9. Uh oh. He does mention that christine was the only one who cleaned up. So wasn’t christine cleaning on 11/10 when mr. Stranger danger knocked at the door. Doesn’t look good for Domo, now does it. Hey Domo, I’m getting the BIG PICTURE. And you have an so on your record. As for taking an hour to pick up the kids, I have a friend who lives out in the country and it seems to take an hour minimum to interact with ANYONE there. Handyman drops by to pick up his check, an hour long conversation about “who shot who in what holler” (local gossip) ensues. Stranger comes by to ask Do you ever let folks fish in your pond? An hour long story follows about hunting and fishing on the property, who built the pond, what’s in it, and of course where the person is from, who they know in common, etc. As a city girl, I’m always in a rush so it drives me up the wall, lol. I need to learn to relax.

Tonight, I was reading about the girl who was kidnapped 18 years ago and was just found, alive with 2 kids. Back when she was kidnapped, I was traveling alone through California and arrived in the Lake Tahoe area the same week she went missing. It was one of the first kidnapping cases that really gripped me, maybe because I was right there. I think it may have been when I started praying for missing people.
I say it, because when I happened on Blink’s site, which wasn’t very long ago, while I was praying for Tracy Ocasio, I wondered to the Lord about that girl from long ago.
What a miracle to find the answers about her tonight!
A double blessing is that another little girl was found in my own State after being missing for a year or more.
I know it isn’t quite the same, because we know that Christine died, but still, I am praising God tonight, because I KNOW the TRUTH will come out! Christine’s body WILL be found and justice will come!
I care about every single one of them.
I might not be able to search for them all, but I am sure gonna pray and pray and pray and pray.

Here are my 2 cents on your poll:
I am late to this case compared to most who have regularly posted here, but my initial instinct was that this was not about Christine learning of some drug manufacturing/distribution. Rather, I see this is another branch of domestic violence.
Justin Hadel “liked” Christine.
I think JR found her attractive.
I think TIA did not take kindly to this (as much as she may have been used or permitted herself to be used to lure Christine to the farm).
Those two didn’t drive all the way up to meet Christine where Q dropped her off out of kindness, or simply to have her pull tin.
TIA being chummy with Christine initially does not surprise me. She was working to endear Christine for some reason, perhaps in an attempt to build a bond in the hopes that Christine would place friendship with Tia over the attention from JR, or perhaps (more likely), because she was assisting JR in “seducing” her.
I noticed that other women have been sucked into this little vortex of danger of imminent bodily harm, and that TIA is still around, by his side. By that I mean specifically that other women have taken Peace Orders out against JR, DURING his “relationship” with TIA. Typically, a man paying so much “attention” to another woman would cause friction between that man and his “wife” (or main girlfriend). Not so here.
TIA must have been quite jealous of Christine, and not simply because of JR’s interest in her.
Christine was many things that TIA is NOT, and NEVER WILL BE.
She had to know this.
Christine was good, caring, sympathetic, empathic, kind, bright, and CAPABLE OF MAKING A BETTER LIFE FOR HERSELF. She had finally left Levi, and she was planning to get away from that miserable Farm.
TIA knew she was stuck there in the deplorable conditions. Stuck with a “man” who did not so much love her, but who used her (as an object, sexually, but also to assist him to LURE other women to him), and, of course, abused her.
She was jealous of Christine, and for many reasons.
If she did not physically attack Christine, she certainly took pleasure in it (as it made her feel superior), and I believe she is–at the least–an accessory to the murder.
Also-
JR does not sound like the kind of guy who allows just anyone to use his cell phone. He liked Christine, and not as a friend. Of that I am convinced.
Likewise, Christine may have understood this, and been smart enough to take advantage of this, so that she could use him/his cell to have contact with the outside world.
Like any/all abusive men, he has severe trust/control issues. He would not allow her to get far enough away/our of his earshot so that she could whisper loud enough (whatever she was trying to communicate to Q that fateful night).
He was coming after her (perhaps along with Justin), hence the “cat calls” as she was doing her best to try to let Q know something important (Something was wrong).
For Me:
Likewise, Christine may have understood this, and been smart enough to take advantage of this, so that she could use him/his cell to have contact with the outside world.
I think this point you made is paramount to the entire incident.

I don’t mean for Q to have any feelings of guilt with regard to my last comment. There is no way he could have known that he would never speak to Christine again.
His song moves me to tears. It plays in my head –out of nowhere–as I go about my day.
How fitting that he repeats her name.
This is about Christine. About bringing her home to her family, first and foremost.
Taking into account what Silverspnr has said and Blink’s response, I am lead to draw the following conclusion: it’s possible that JR took that to mean she was willing and when he made the advance and she fought him he either “accidentally” killed her in a struggle or in a fit of rage.
