Okay, I have thought about maybe why the tape was on Caylee’s mouth.
I have ready the decomp process in Florida is RAPID, It can take only 3 days to be far along in the process….Is it possible that Casey drove around with Caylee in her drunk (unbagged) for 2.5 days, until she opened the trunk THE DAY OF DUMPING (bacause I HIGHLY doubt Casey was checking on Caylee every day or every couple hours, I think she NEVER looked in the trunk exept for the time she put Caylee in and took her out. —ANYWAYS, I think when the DUMPING TIME came along, Casey had all of her possible materials…saw Caylee’s mouth open with the “o sign”, and maybe at this point there were bugs manifesting in her mouth and nose already, and THAT freaked her out…She put the tape over Caylee’s mouth and nose so the bugs could not “escape and get on her trunk” ?
    possible?
i know this is gruesome, but just a possibility. Because I dont buy the…”Casey put the tape on JUST BEAUSE the “O Factor” -I think she never looked at Caylee.

Oh, and no matching stickers (to my knowledge anyway) found at the Ant’s house. It just made the crime creepier—not sure it’s really an essential part of the case (or is it?).

Blink, dont know how much information is true of our update a few minutes ago, found the girls 1 dead in outsid trash can and the other one under the bed in cridical condition, weak bearly able to move. We personally think she went their yesterday and seen the one child dead and disposed of it in the trash because she told someone on the phone where the other child was which was under the bed. They claim this is the awfulest site the have seen in a while.

O My God In Heaven. They are in my prayers, how horrific

  4. karen says:

Blink, they found the 2 girls this morning around 2:30 am, I will give you more information as it comes.

Hi Suz, I noticed those two noted spots on the laundry bag photos too. One, the black rectangle, I assumed was a purposeful blocking out with black, as they did on the other photos with decomposition, hair, etc. IF that’s the case here too, then what of Caylee could have stuck to that laundry bag, and did the bagging ‘break’ near that laundry bag section? IF it were from Caylee (why else would they black it out), it could be a section of hair with decomp, or other decomp?

And question would be– WHY would Cindy miss that when putting the bag away? Or is this the point of blacking it out– it was decomp that was ‘cleaned’?

Strange, that black rectangle. If it were a heart sticker, for example, could it be to mark the bag as ‘Caylee’s’ bag– not saying it is– just speculation.

Seems that Casey was tying the car to the ‘trash of other people’, and the kitchen knife, maybe a sticker also, and this laundry bag, could be set ups to tie car contents to the crime scene, if and when it was found.

Casey said (and this sticks out) that OSCO could have ‘bucket loads’ of evidence against her downstairs but she didn’t do anything — why would she think they had ‘buckets’ of evidence? Did she PLANT lots of evidence to point elsewhere?

  6. ada says:

    Suz

I don’t think the heart shaped sticker (there, not there) and residue (there, or not there) really factors in at all except the creep factor as you said. If Casey did put the sticker over the duct tape, it really is creepy.

  7. Kleat says:

(and about the car ‘trash’– Casey had that on her mind on Oct 14th last year too, talking about buckets of evidence perhaps, but certainly pointing out to her ‘investigators’ (SB perhaps at this point), that she did not want to drink any pop while waiting for her lawyer to arrive, because ‘I never drink pop’. (but there were many empty soda cans in her car with the ‘trash’– many different makes and flavours– but she never drank pop so obviously they were not hers).

(now– why wouldn’t Casey notice all those pop cans and trash in her car when her mother picked her up and brought her home– the car was a MESS (Anthony cleaning-wise, anyway). Her mother would know her 22 year old daughter does not drink pop when she lives in the house, so why wasn’t that a big red flag for the Cindy red-flag expert?)

  8. Gavriella says:

#303 Does anyone have any stats on the numbers of missing/murdered children in the state of FL? It seems especially high. Also, this is more than horrific. I can’t find anything on any local (Pensacola)news stations, online. Do you know which local stations are reporting this, if any? Thanks, Karen, and how horrible for you, too, to be so close.

  9. TandT says:

Casey only drinks Crystal light, correct? HMMMM??

Yes, and I do believe that was found IN the Laundry bag, the contents were tested, results not released.
    B

  10. TandT says:

It will be very interesting when those test results come back!!

  11. TandT says:

    Probably even finger prints..

  12. westsidehudson says:

“Casey said (and this sticks out) that OSCO could have ‘bucket loads’ of evidence against her downstairs but she didn’t do anything — why would she think they had ‘buckets’ of evidence? Did she PLANT lots of evidence to point elsewhere?”

I think that she had a pretty good idea that there was likely evidence linking her to the crime. I think that she was saying, “no matter what you’ve got on me, I’m still not the one who did this”.

  13. westsidehudson says:

    # 308-TandT

Aside from determining the liquid composition, I wonder if it’s possible that there was recoverable DNA on the bottle.
(from lips or saliva, or fingerprints on the sides)

  14. TandT says:

And if it was a bottle of Crystal light that was actually drank out of, it could have some DNA also. If in the laundry bag,as I also read that it was, it would be most certainly very incriminating evidence, to someone…HMMMM??!!!

  15. suz says:

Tink Tink, good theory, but the Medical Examiner said the tape was put on prior to decomp taking place, so I don’t think she could have put the tape on 2.5 days into the process.

I agree the 2.5 days is improbable.
    B

  16. suz says:

Wait, weren’t the Crystal Light bottles found in the trash bag that was in the car (either in the trunk or in the passenger compartment, since we have learned Geo changed his story on this)? A bottle in the laundry bag ain’t ringing a bell. Is it something not in the discovery, or is it something I missed?

I thought in the last discovery one was found in the bag and sent to the lab, but could be me, I have flu like symptoms.
    B

  17. suz says:

Kleat, look at that black rectangle on the laundry bag again. I don’t think it is redacted, because they usually just do THAT on the photo (the black boxes that are on the same flat plane as the photo). This box, though, looks to me like it is actually ON THE BAG. It’s angled away from us, 3D-wise. I can’t imagine they would do that—one reason being, wouldn’t it sort of tamper with the evidence, by putting a foreign object physically over whatever they are trying to conceal beneath it?. I think they would take the photo they wanted of the object, and then redact it afterwards on the photograph itself if they wanted to hide it.

So I wonder if it’s more like what you said about Q104—and as Blink suggested about the white triangle shape–an alternate light source making something “light up”? I dunno. The pictures are labeled either “tag” or “label” as though the circled object is an afterthought, but I don’t know who labeled the pics.

  18. TINK TINK says:

As to why Casey’s prints werent on the shovel….
Did her neighboor say she returned the shovel WEARING GLOVES???! ;)
    Hmmmm!
Because even if she wiped it down or cleaned it before she gave it back, there would for sure be prints on it from carrying it over to the neighboors w/ bare hands! AM I GOING SOMEWHERE WITH THIS?!

  19. peggy says:

    # 291-

You’re right, we haven’t seen all the evidence so maybe there’s something there…I sure hope so.

    # 292-

I was referring to two heart shaped stickers found at the crime scene which includes the alleged heart shape sticker residue seen only by EF. I haven’t seen the one they found at the house, if I get a chance I’ll look for that today.

  20. Kleat says:

If (‘if’) the dinner knife were to be connected to the duct tape rips etc, or something other from the crime scene, what does that say about ‘Casey’? It’s not necessarily ‘her’ knife– so how could that be a ‘smoking gun’ without ‘her’ dna, or her prints on it? It may have someone else’s prints on it, someone else’s dna, or nothing, just a match to someone else’s cutlery set, like a friend– Stutz’s parents cutlery? Jesse’s cutlery? How about Tony, or any number of residences/houses or even hotels, eating establishments, steak houses, where Casey would have access to regular dinner cutlery.

Changing subject to the latest motion to move the trial away from OC. I recall a motion to demand that Judge Strickland recuse himself from the murder trial. Could be they want to take their chances with a different judge and one way to do that is move the trial away. Any new judge may not know much of the cases of Casey, and the defense might just have an advantage with someone other than Strickland.

It may be one of the side benefits to moving the trial– remembering that Cindy said that Judge Strickland has a reputation of being, I think she called him, a ‘hard ass’.

If the murder trial gets moved, does the judge move too? Or would this effectively get rid of Judge Strickland too?

  21. Kleat says:

And if the fraud case is moved, who pays for the transportation and accommodation of all of the ‘victims’– that would include the Bank of America and it’s representative employee(s) in Orlando, as well as Amy. That could be worth far more than 700 dollars to Amy if she has to take a week off work, pay accommodation and travel. Nevermind time to prepare for trial before heading off to some venue out of county.

  23. TINK TINK says:

Suz, then Im starting to go with the suffocation theory. I have a very strong gut feeling that she did in fact drown Caylee…or think the tape was going to make it easier. I think she put the tape on, put a little something on Caylee’s hands to keep them bound from swimming, and threw her in the pool, and thats where the high levels of chemicals came about in teh trunk, then again has me thinking you would almost be POSITIVE that if in fact that were the case, the duct tape would have evidence of those chemicals in or on it, especially with the LAYERING of the duct tape. If this is the case, I think Casey did the duct taping for TWO reasons, 1- So Caylee could not scream or cry before being put in the water, or if her head was to go above water and 2- To make it look like a kidnapping IN THE END & in Casey’s mind (if ever found).
OTHERWISE, I tend to think……..NO ONE HAS ANY IDEA or will EVER even begin to sort out the events that lead to Caylee’s death, and the duct tape was just to frame someone, which I think all along from the moment it happened…she intended on doing.
& as for the missing DOT in one of the stars, I have a tattoo, and my fiancee has many…We go to the same artist, and my fiancee as a matter of fact on one of his last ones, is missing COLOR in a leaf. THIS, I can understand missing, because it was the beginning of a quarter sleeve. But as far as Casey’s??? She HAS color tattoos, this “BELLA VITA” one is black, and very LITTLE detailed. Took no time at all im sure…The artist in no way shape or form, missed that dot on his own. Of course, I and many others didn’t notice until it was pointed out….But its no cooincidence I guarantee. Someone who KNEW what they wanted, and her being so into herself, would have noticed right away..Maybe not at the shop, but sooner rather than later. And she prob. would have mentioned to ppl, if it WERE an accident, oh and “that star is missing a dot on accident, I have to go back when I get my NEXT tattoo, and get the dot put in” She seems to INTO herself to let even something THAT little go. —Because GUARANTEED, the artist would put that DOT in the star for FREE!!!!!!!

    Gav,

I agree that Casey will never confess to this crime.

I read an interesting article a few days ago (I’ll try and find it) but it talked about differences between male and female sociopaths. As Blink mentioned already they (sociopaths) start displaying certain behaviors usually around adolescence, for males it’s stuff like plucking the feathers off birds, killing cats and other violent behaviors, they are usually introverted, too… where as the women start with lying (pathologically),manipulating and hyper sexuality (promiscuity) and they are usally extroverted. Those are all behaviors we know Casey exhibits (now) but whether it started at puberty is unknown b/c we really have no history about that.

Another noteworthy point was that it said men tend to kill outside their circle (i.e.-strangers) but women tend to kill inside their circle, usually family members (such as husbands, parents or children) or it’s someone they’ve had some sort of contact or interaction with.

This was just one article, but I thought it was very interesting.

Blink- I hope you don’t have this awful flu, I’ve been sick since last Wednesday and I still have a fever. Unfortunately swine flu is making it’s rounds here in Va….sadly my friends 4 year old son is in the pediatric ICU right now b/c of the swine flu, when he arrived at the hospital on Sunday evening he wasn’t breathing, he’s on a lung machine now but Dr’s say there’s extensive damage to his lungs… but last report(as of noon today) is that his oxygen levels are up. I’m praying he’s on the mend.

    Please take care of yourself..

  26. Kleat says:

AND would a ‘prior bad act’ that Casey wants stopped from coming into her fraud case, be using fraulently obtained cash from the Bank of America just before ZG 23 paid ‘her’ traffic violation ticket or penalty?

If the judge does not allow these ‘prior’ bad acts from coming in, would that include the ‘prior’ ticket/seatbelt violation as a bad act? Would that also include, more importantly, using false ID (therefore lying to an officer), etc if ZG ‘was’ Miss Anthony herself? How would anyone prove this was actually Casey– if she’s using a fake ID, who would know? Would the officer’s memory be that good (well– ZG WAS a 10!).

  27. Kleat says:

And count the ‘prior bad acts such as lying to Amy’…

    1. Stealing from grandmother Shirley Plesea and her husband’s chequing account that was dedicated for his care in Mt. Dora.
    2. Forging a cheque from Shirley Plesea to buy a birthday cake for Caylee. (don’t think Shirley was at the party to enjoy the cake her money bought)
    3. Using her mother’s credit card to the tune of many thousands of dollars (apparently).
    4. Lee’s statements to Tony that Casey had developed some skills at getting money from bank accounts of others.
    5. George’s statements to police, that Casey was ‘stealing’… or was that to FBI also.

The lies to Amy are not isolated– let that in, it opens a can of nasties for Casey, which can then be used in the murder trial. (?)

  28. Marine Mama says:

On the trash bag subject, it seems I remember her boyfriend saying the trash was from his apartment. Perhaps she “stole” the trash ..placed in the the car to “try” and cover up the smell of decomp? She would use the trash as an excuse for the smell. Why else would someone have garbage in their car?? He lived in apartments…they have a dumpster.

    Anyone else remember his statement?

  29. Kleat says:

suz, Crystal Lite was Nathan’s out of Tony/Nathan’s garbage that Casey took– was in the car (IIRC)

  30. westsidehudson says:

    #318-TINK TINK

Wasn’t there no fingerprints on the shovel? If that is the case it is an aberration, because you would think that , even if Casey had gloves on, the owner of the shovel should have also had prints on it, sice he accepted it back from Casey.

  31. peggy says:

The state of Florida pays for that. I think it’s way too costly to move this case.

Has JB asked for it to be closed(no media) and that all information be sealed?

  32. westsidehudson says:

#316-suz, you might be right, maybe it was the gatorade bottle with the syringe I am thinking of. That was at the dump site, wasn’t it?

  33. Kleat says:

hhmmm… Crystal Lite ‘in’ the laundry bag ‘in’ the car…

For a ONE day trial. They appear to be going to ‘investigate’ each and every person, their friends, spouses, clergy and even lawyers, in detail– to get the jury they want for cheque fraud.

Will this really fly!!?!? Also, Social Security Number on a form to the defense? Geeze, I’d back off jury duty in a hurry if this were to be part of some sunshine doc to be released.

    No way.

  36. Gavriella says:

#325 Peggy! Please take care of your self, and know that many here are praying for you, your friends, and their little boy! If his “sat” (oxygen saturation) levels are up, that’s a very good sign. We’ll be praying for all of you. Having a disabled child who underwent an AV canal for a complete AVSD, I know what it is to have a child in ICU. We’re in and out, and I debate about the flu vaccine for him. Everything’s risky. Take care of yourself, we need you!

Blink, and I do so value your opinion! Thank you. And of course, once again, you’ve made a very valid point, as Casey’s behavior seemed to change over the past two years, or so. No problems with a personality problem prior to the past 24 months or so. Even her friends have commented as to the same — that she changed. After Caylee’s birth, it would seem, huh? Thanks again, our dear B.

#333 The Crystal Light then may be significant? Have they determined what the brown liquid was? I searched the docs last night and found nothing on any results regarding tests done on it. Westsidehudson, was the syringe in the gatorade bottle? Going back to read the docs, yet again, and just when can we expect more, but certainly not all, this week, maybe? It would be so STATE to save the very best evidences for last, so perhaps we’ve not seen anything yet.

Before I further commit myself to a June 16th date of death for Caylee, does anyone recall George having stated that he was watching his favorite cooking show, and it being determined that the show he mentioned didn’t air on the 16th at the time he said it did? Did he Tivo it?

    In a bit,
    Gavi

  37. Gavriella says:

#334 You have got to be kidding! There’s no way in Hades this will fly!

  38. TandT says:

Didn’t George at one time say that there was laundry in the trunk of Caseys car, and then later state he did not see into the trunk? If I recall. Maybe he saw the laundry bag in the trunk and assumed it was laundry.

Laundry and the 2 gas cans in the blue bin in the FBI interview. Musta been a big bin, by my estimate, that round gas can alone is 12″ diameter.

  39. Gavriella says:

#321 Kleat, if this trial comes to Broward, I’m praying they call me, or any one of 1000 other people I know! Would my former profession as a paramedic turned child advocate and tracker for DJJ disqualify me?

    Prolly, uh, fo shizzle
    B

  40. Gavriella says:

Just wishful thinking perhaps but, perhaps Casey wore gloves when she handled the shovel. Perhaps they were Cindy’s gardening pair, and maybe, just maybe, OCSO has them. Cindy would have had at least one pair of gardening gloves, right? Sigh. Again, just wishful thinking.

  41. Gavriella says:

O, the syringe, if this hasn’t been determined, forgive me if it has, was found inside a wrapper (?) and then placed within a toilet paper roll, that was then shoved inside the Gatorade bottle. Sounds like an attempt to hide evidence to me, huh?

  42. TandT says:

Yes, it would have to be very big then. I think he got too close for comfort for Casey in my opinion and then she got scared and went and dumped the body shortly after. I wonder if he ever thinks about the fact that he may have seen his dead grandaughter that day.

  43. Gavriella says:

This is so nationally, globally, known that there’s no need to move it but to Siberia, and that ain’t likely. :Folk don’t take too kindly to Bozo ’round here.

  46. wpgmouse says:

    Gavriella, hello

Let’s say, oh….someone has an asthma attack. As a former paramedic, do you know of a pre-filled injectionable to counter it? If so, any idea of its effect on a small child? Thank you.

  47. vidda says:

Blink and Peggy, hope you get better really soon !The wheather really sucks, you couls be just adjusting to new temp…Vit C adn lots a sleep, we will take care of Ants for you
    lol, many kind thanks
    B

  48. Gavriella says:

wpgmouse, you speak as though there was an incident with an autofill? Was there? Epinephrine/Epipen? Or do you have a small child who’s asthmatic? The possible effects depends upon the child, but basically there are no contraindications, in a life threatening situation, when administered correctly, that I know of unless there are underlying medical condictions such as a history of a heart disease, diabetes, et. al. Which could cause anything from elevated glucose levels, in diabetics, to heart failure in cardiac patients. What’s the age group of the children we’re speaking of, and are there any knowns/pre-existings? I hope you didn’t have an incident with a little one. Now I’ll worry. So get back to me on this, okay?

  49. suz says:

Peggy, I firmly believe there was one and only one heart sticker found at the remains scene. Can you tell me why you think there are two? What do you recall reading that suggests that?

  50. suz says:

Tink Tink, her’s what i don’t get. if she drowns her, why not just take the tape off afterwards and say, “Oh dear, such a tragic accident. Bye, I’m going to Fusian. Don’t wait up.” and go on with her life, even getting tons of sympathy as a bonus? I doubt the tape will show pool chemicals—it was underwater and out in the elements for so long that it’s pretty much wrecked. So much adhesive was gone that it sounds like it wasn’t even stuck together anymore—at least not like we pictured it.

If the tape was the murder weapon, I am still going with “she snapped” theory—-she was an unstable young mother who was worried about her own mental health (telling friends that she felt she should be committed for awhile) and for whatever reason (like caylee throwing a tantrum, like the prosecution is going to say happened) she snapped and used the tape to silence her.
