Charlottesville, VA–The disappearance of Morgan Harrington, missing since October 17, 2009 is exhibiting the potential to reach a temperature that is currenlty encompassing the Northeast: VERY COLD.
Through the thousands of posts at blinkoncrime.com and numerous articles covering Morgan, it is clear that frustration in the lack of lead generation and ambiguous statements from the Virginia State Police are causing some to lack conviction Morgan will be found.
In a recent press conference by VSP, LE provided NO NEW information or progress regarding Morgan’s case. In a shift of posture by the Harrington family, Dr. Harrington has begun participating in online chat and sponsored an additional facebook site to help the efforts to find his daughter.
In fact, for the first time in 2.5 months, we know what kind of camera Morgan had with her the evening of the Metallica concert from his research.
In contrast, we have viewed footage and photos of her dear friends that have clearly moved on without the knowledge of their friends plight.
Girls will be girls you say? Before one person comes on here to tell me I am being too critical of these young women you should know that due to a fortunate Facebook update, describing these girls as Morgan’s friends is entirely generous.
Furthermore, if you happen to be one of the parents that has provided booze for underage minors captured on digital for all to see you may wish to take a peek at what is on your daughter’s social sites.
Have you thought about what it would be like to be Gil or Dan while your linin’ it up and throwin’ em back WITH your kids?
Fortunately, this is not the focus today. I do not feel Morgan’s friends did anything to directly cause her fate. They are more “ME” than frienemy, that is evident.
Gil Harrington, posting on the families site findmorgan.com, wrote one of the most eloquent and courageous posts from the Mother of a missing child I have ever read.
The snowfall is beautiful but still disturbing – melancholy. Wonder if Morgan is cold – is snow falling on her face – or is her face covered by leaves in a shallow grave being hidden by the snow. I glance out the window and see the crimson blaze of a cardinal at the bird feeder – my heart leaps for a second at the beauty – then I think its feathers look like blood in the snow. Is that what Morgan’s blood looks like in the snow? See how the pitfalls are everywhere – even at the bird feeder.
In a somewhat angst-ridden moment, a poster on blinkoncrime.com suggested any and all witnesses in this case should be subject to repeated Barry Manilow songs until they confess.
It jogged a memory for me that reminded me that I am proudly my Father’s daughter. Morgan is Dan Harrington’s daughter.
Maybe someone, somewhere, has just not approached that perspective.

Barry holds a special place in the heart of my family. When I was a kid I used to play dress up with my Mom’s clothes. If a pair of her way-too-big-for-me heels was “done”, she would let me cut off the ankle straps and dance around in them as slides.
One afternoon, when I should have been doing my homework, I was blaring Copa Cabana in my Parents study dressed like a thriftshop showgirl and when ” Who could ask for more…at the Copa” part came on, I kicked like a 12 year old Rockette and launched my “slide/RPG” into the ceiling.
There it stayed.
I threw everything I could find at that shoe to dislodge it. Nothing.
Except for the new marks on the scalloped ceiling.
Later, when unbeknownst to me, my Dad was reading his 12 daily newspapers in the study, I thought I might try another idea.
I jumped as hard as I could at the spot upstairs above where the slutslipper was lodged.
It worked on the 3rd try.
How do I know?
I heard a “S o n o f a …..” , then something that sounded like a combination of my first and middle names with a swear word interjected that was rising in tone and volume, and now coming my way.
As I hit the hallway to head to the other direction or squeeze myself unnaturally under something, there He was
My Dad, evidence in hand, smiling wryly form ear to ear.
“Yours I presume, young lady,” his forearm outstretched gently with the nail to my coffin in his palm.
I responded .. “What makes you say that?
Could be ketchup or mustards..”
(Lame editors note: do NOT ask, my sisters and I had bathing suits that matched when we were little that were red, yellow and white, respectively, it stuck to this day, I was Mayo)
He replied .. ” Because I know, this weekend, when you fish out your overalls and help me fix the ceiling before your Mother notices, you would rather do that than whatever she comes up with so we can be all done here. The End. ( Blink dad making the wipe hands clean gesture)
She has been talking about repainting the Family room for months, I would LOVE some help with that…”
“Yes Sir.” I muttered with a matching grimace.
“Can I have it back?” I asked.
“I would say your dancing days are on hold, dear daughter, for the foreseeable future, as are your TV privliges.”
“Anything else? ” I asked.
“Why yes, there is. If you choose to dance through the house with wreckless abandon, next time, do it when your homework is finished and in your tennis shoes. And can you please try to be more like your Mother and less like me?”
“Doubtfull Deets, doubtful.”
With that carefully measured tween rhetort I skipped down the hall, crisis averted and I am still Dad’s fave.
I can live with the painting. Wonder if I can pick the color??
I chose to share this very personal exchange with my Daddy because it dawned on me that maybe someone that reads this does not understand what Morgan’ s Father (and family, but this reference is strictly male) needs from them.
He was her protector. He is her ceiling fixer.
You have to give him back what you took so he can fix it for her and their family.
He does not care who you are or what you may have done.
You can do this for them now. Have faith that anything can be fixed. Anything.

Chad: A few of my friends said the picture looked photo shopped because of the difference in size of the supposed ‘Shannon’ and the distance, as if he were to far away to be leaning against the others. IDK, I tried to zoom it, got it pretty big, the pixels look a bit different, but I can’t tell. I posted here a very long time ago, perhaps under a different name. I think that the posters who suggested that maybe the silence in this case is because DEA is involved may be right. That could explain alot as to the “weird” way this case has been handled.
What caught my attention was the Gil’s previous postings suggested that she believed Morgan may no longer be with us. However, Dan’s statement in the above referenced article states he believes she may still be alive and iin Charlottesville.
Is the new info that we are not aware of?
As an additional note, I also do not believe in physics – I have seen alot of cases where they say someone will be found by this date or whatever (Haleigh Cummings case being one) and that date came and passed and Haleigh is still not found. HOWEVER, it seems as though many of the people posting about the physcic visions on facebook and the findmorgan site describe an olive skinned man AND a woman being involved. Seems to be the common ground.
J2k, In regards to the possible witness seeing the pills/flask ect.
I am at a loss to what LE knows in order to rule out a possible sighting. Yet, they must know what is and is not worthy of further scrutiny. If not, it seems like sometimes they are working off of a scenario, and throw out things that don’t fit with that story as someone so aptly wrote earlier.
My mind is spinning, because LE has said Morgan did not get booted from the arena, They have also said the purse/cell is not important. There have been several statements by LE about the facts that I can not understand how they could have verified them as facts, and not know other seemingly easy to disregard potential facts… aarg… Am I making sense? IOW I do not know what to think…..
Does anybody remember back the first week or so that Morgan went missing, somewhere a poster said that his or her driver saw a girl who looked like Morgan walking with a group and that a hispanic male was following two-three car lengths behind? I don’t remember if this was the same limo driver that saw her walking with the BB players, but I don’t think so. I have tried to find that, but have had no luck. I think Skyler’s post from her friend’s thoughts made me think of this again, although, from time to time different discussions have brought it to mind.

wpgmouse — forgive me if you know this already but Virginia has a funky system in which they separate the cities from the surrounding counties. Thus, the city of c’ville is actually a relatively small separate entity and albemarle county is all the land around it. people consider the whole area “c’ville”, but technically it isn’t.
re this morning’s article in the Progress. Wanted to digest before I wrote, but I’d like to know WHY they continue to think someone local is responsible for Morgan’s disappearance. I am absolutely not yet ready to call Albemarle County an unsafe place to live, and I think it was pretty bold of the Harringtons to specifically mention this county. Are they getting information from LE, or from a psychic? Do they believe she is being held captive by some rich kid living at home with his parents? Is she living at will on one of these farms? What are they talking about?
I am gonna toss out a theory on the purse: Lets say it’s a guy/girl team that has taken Morgan from the parking lot or the bridge whichever…something bad happens and now they have her purse….what if they took it back to the place where they took Morgan from and kinda throw it out the window to make the contents looked “spilled” after the parking lot is cleared and no one is around. The morning comes and the “keeper” or whoever it was finds the purse. The part that has always thrown me about the purse is if it was left there upon Morgan leaving…how come it was not found when the concert was over and people were walking/driving thru that lot…I know most think the perp(s) would not return to the scene of the crime but it is possible they did….they could have been trying to keep everything tied to JPJ and the friends or at least JPJ…..if a guy/girl team, the girl I am sure would go thru her purse and take what she wanted out of it…she knows Morgan isn’t going to need them anymore (necklace,camera) I would be curious to know what was in Morgans purse when she had it to what was in it when it was found…..Okay just throwing out some more of my jumbled up thoughts…..
Sky…the Harringtons in my book are heros and I can see them really doing something to help out all missing kids in the future. And I think there should be some kinda law for these arenas. I know they can’t have fights and drugs and drunks walking all over the place causing problems and they have to keep tight reigns on all situations. But they should never turn anyone out the doors without a return in….if a person is that bad off a simple call to the police would end the problem. They should have a stamp system or band or something that alerts them that a person came in with a ticket therefore can return into the arena…A young girl was turned away from being readmitted and more then likely has lost her life do to this “policy” Heck I have been to Cedar Point, had to go out to my car…they stamped my arm with something I could not see…when I came back thru the gates they used a black light to see that stamp….it was so easy…………..sorry this is so long, I just keep thinking about this stuff.

One thing to consider is that the only reason we even know what this witness saw and allegedly reported is because he posted it on a Web site. There were a lot of people in and outside of the JPJ that night, and a number of them came forth with things they saw or remembered from the evening in regard to a young, black-clad blonde right after her picture was released. All of these detailed accounts were vetted and cross-checked with other accounts and input from security, etc.
But, of that informational stew, all that was doled out to the public was the austere timeline of her movements between 8:20 and 9:30. Again: the only direct accounts we’ve seen have been from people who were either interviewees in a news story or posters on FM and FB – usually followed by: LE did not seem interested/never called me about it.
B made a good point above that it is common practice for LE *not* to start an actual dialogue with tipsters. Also, just because the possible witness who saw the flask was rebuffed by the CPD does not mean investgators do not have multiple direct accounts of the same interaction, and simply did not need his input by the time he offered it. We should assume we know, say, 20 percent of what LE does. Tops. And they are not going to release anything if it doesn’t serve a specific purpose in regard to the investigation.
That said, while looking for a quote I wanted to note to you, I came across an article published post-recent-presser in The Roanoke Times (Dec. 31). In a bulleted section going over what LE stated to the press were “facts” at this point, there was this (emphasis mine):
“About 8:48 p.m. she told her friends over the phone she would find a way home or *stay with friends in Charlottesville.* Between 9:20 and 9:30 p.m., she was seen on the Copeley Road Bridge, hitchhiking, police said. …”

Not that this discrepancy is a big deal, but where did this come from? Is the reporter taking liberties with the 8:48 alleged exchange between MH and friend inside? If not, and the reporter was told by a source that MH said she’d “stay” with friends in Cville, that’s a little more specific than “try to find a ride” – it implies an established relationship she maintained in Cville. Plus, “stay” during the show, or overnight? (which makes no sense as the concert ended at 11-ish and – duh – her car was there) Either way, it indicates (erroneously or factually) that MH would know who to contact locally if she needed someone/people after being separated from her friends.
(Behold the power of semantics.)

You know, I’m from now an hour southwest of richmond and was in the area and just missed her by minutes — there’s no way an ‘absolute’ connection that the person who took Morgan is from C-ville can be made, unless there is more info than is being released — shock on that one, right ?
That one guy who parked beside them was from NJ, there was the Fredericksburg guy who was kicked — I read a post from someone from NC, I think it was — so there were a lot of people in that area — plus, it was family weekend at UVA, not to mention people travling on Interstate 64 who could have taken the C-ville exit.
It’s “my” take — only me, don’t fuss at other Blinkers — that these are words spoken by a heartbroken and broken father who wants so much to believe his child is alive and closeby — because the alternative is just too hard to bear.
God, please bring her home now. Please.
Has there been a cause of death in the Kristin Fox case?
There is a definate change in tone from the Harringtons in regards to them now believeing Morgan is in fact alive and in Charlottesville.
I am sincerly hoping that this is based on information that they know and we do not from LE.
What are all your thoughts?
Hi Momof3, re: 838, just to clarify: Misty Mountain Campground has never appeared in my nightmares. The deserted-looking motor lodge down the road has. (But according to LocalCvilleGirl, that was the first place to get plowed in the recent snow. So it’s not as deserted as it appears.) To me, Misty Mtn is relavent in (a) its location on 250W, b/n Charlottesville and Afton/Waynesboro, (b) the fact that it lets people stay longer term and could shelter transient types of people, and (c) its being a campground with a name that might appeal to Morgan and her wide net of friends/acquaintances. But it’s not a nightmarish type of place, unless you’re one who gets the heeby jeebies over camping in any form.

Hey Skyler. Regarding your friend’s visionary gift/theory of what happened to Morgan (post 676), you posted this awhile ago, right? If not then I am having a case of deja vu because I swear I remember reading about this vision/theory here on BOC way before Xmastime.
You are absolutely right — she actually told me this very soon after Morgan went missing — before I knew about BOC, I think — and I held it a long time because I didn’t want to inject anything that could be hurtful and not backed up — it IS a — whatever you want to call it: vision, impression — IDK — anyway, as time moved on and we had just about looked at every angle possible and more info became available — I threw it out there — the ONLY thing that has changed or been expanded is the time frame — originally — like Oct. when she told me this, she said she would not be found “soon” — which she has not — and now she’s getting that something has changed and she “feels” something is about to break/crack “soon” —
which I pray is true, even if all the rest is absolutely false …

Skyler…post #860: I agree, I think the Harrington’s are just heartbroken and willing to grasp at anything. It’s the only way to stay hopeful that she’ll come home.
As a resident of Albemarle County, I’d really like to know if there is real information that there is a Bad Guy/Bad Girl in my vicinity who is either holding Morgan captive, or who possibly abducted her for drugs, murder, or rape. Why does he say are we less safe after October 17? There may have been more out-of-towners at that concert than locals, but if there is a local who is responsible, then please give us more information. Being told to look out for changes in behavior is not enough after 3 months.

From the JPJ website:

What if Morgan was asked to return her purse to her vehicle because it was a backpack?
Don’t know what significance it would have, but it got the wheels turning in my head. Anyone?

Concessions
John Paul Jones Arena offers more than sixty points of sale at sixteen permanent concession stands and additional concession carts. Debit/Credit cards are accepted at most stands.

For those with student tickets for UVA athletics, the entrance is located on the East side of the Arena adjacent to Massie Rd. For those guests that park in the parking deck, access to the Arena can be accommodated through the 2nd level entry doors.

The First Aid stations are located across from sections 309 and 109. In addition, if first aid is needed, please notify the nearest staff member.

i am sick about this girl and her parents. i do not know how to begin to understand how you do it day after day, case after case! you too must be supported. i hope that you are, as i can do nothing but sit and type. i must be truly pathetic. what is the point of all this? i cannot go out and search. i do not know any of the facts. even if i did i am just one person, a mother with two kids that are clammering for my attention. one a 14 year old beginning her high school experience and another a 12 year old. important years plus we moved. what do i do to show them anymore. to teach them. to give them security. i already have given them the gift of fear! i do not mean the book.
Dr. Harrington looks and sounds like i feel! and big deal, i wrote a check and donated my time. i arrived in clogs, for God sake. i took my daughter back to let her meet Laura Search and Recovery people. so what! tell me, does any of this matter and why am i so upset. Dr. Harrington believes Morgan is out there. i cannot blame him but am i a bad person for believing she is not?
Mrs. Harrington’s posts are hauntingly painful to read but she must need to do this because it helps her. so i will keep reading out of respect for her. As a mother, i feel her pain as if it is my own!

Sorry to be stuck on this, but let me add to, or re-phrase my post #866: until I get real information, I’m going to believe that the person responsible for Morgan’s disappearance is someone from out of town, who knew her from another facet of her life…the internet, festivals, work, school. And I hate to add but will, drug use or rehab, some party scene her parents would not have known about. This person or persons picked her up and took her away from the area.
I just believe that LE would be more forthcoming with leads if she were right under our noses. If someone is telling the Harringtons that she is in the area, than this someone needs to be even more specific and come up with some real leads.

Thank you. I thought Albamarle County was the northern half-sphere around c’ville, but you are saying it surrounds it, so it also extends south. That really opens it up, doesn’t it.
From Dan H.’s comments I was thinking that perhaps the individual works or goes to school in c’ville but lives outside the city (or might have family outside), or lives in c’ville but owns or has access to property outside.
Still bothers me that Dan. H. is talking about a safety issue for citizens, yet LE has not alerted the community to such previously or even now after Mr. H.’s comments. IMO, LE has a responsibility to clarify.

The new number for that tip line is 434-352-3467 and is being manned all day and all night. Lt. So does this mean 80% of those calls were not needing immediate attention and what did they do with those calls? I wonder how many are bogus tips, especially with a reward!
I think I read over 700+ tips thus far for Morgan. Wow thats a lot of calls to sort out.

But I did noticed the shift in Dr. Harrington’s statement saying she was in the C-ville area and alive.

It’s important to realize that whoever took Morgan is still in this community and, because of that, Charlottesville and Albemarle County are not as safe as they were before Oct. 17.”
To me this indicates they know lots more. Why would anyone pinpoint the specific area if its not really known?

Not that I know of. I’ve got a google e-mail alert set up for any news on her and haven’t seen anything yet.
Guys, I was right there with you in feeling mad at OYE.
But lets try to remember, she came forward with info that at the time was not confirmed. We now know for a fact that Morgan was very impaired. We know she was acting irrationally. We know for a fact that the friends, have a tendency to drink and party through all of their ups and downs. And they all have OYE’s way of conversing,..
OYE, seemed angry at Morgan’s situation. She posted specifically about alcohol poisoning. At the time LE was not stating Morgan or her party had even drank.
She put herself out there, amongst us, a bunch of over 30′s and stood up to say leave my friends alone Morgan drank just like the rest us.She didn’t mention HH,she didn’t mention stranger abduction. She mentioned Morgan riding around then going to a specific area to party. She mentioned at least 2 people in the car(smoking,drinking) with Morgan,she mentions accidental death,overdose,either wandering off or being placed in unknown location she mentions only SS by name and Morgan

She says Morgan went to a party before or after. (both?)

She said the photo was photoshopped-Why? The location is real, didn’t she recognize it?- If it was tampered with why? who would want to place Morgan and her friends at the MMc.ground festival or other? If she was trying to point us to MMc.ground wouldn’t this have been the best time?
Her last post was to make sure we all know that the school is considered one of the top 25 party schools, in both drink and casually hooking up, underages included…..
I am a long-time lurker and first-time poster. This case grabbed me both geographically and emotionally from the onset. I live in VA, Charlottesville is one of my favorite locations and I am an avid admirer of Thomas Jefferson and UVA. But more importantly, I am the mother of a 20 year old daughter who is a 3rd year student at UVA. As with many of the posters here, this case has truly hit very close to home. I am in awe of the wealth of intellect, compassion and intuitiveness shown by the posters of BOC. You are truly amazing and are led by a woman whose mission is clear and selflessly motivated. I lift my Thinking Goblet to you all. Blink and Blinkers, please keep it up.
That being said, since the beginning of this case my “Hinkey Meter” has been going off incessantly. I have switched to alternate energy sources to keep it and me going. I view this case like an impressionist painting. If viewed in its entirety from a distance, the image is clear and well defined. However, if one only looks at a small corner or portion of the image, it is often impossible to decern a clear picture. LE is the artist. They have a larger canvas (the people involved-both publically known and those unknown, the venues and areas of interest, the movements of all involved parties, background info, etc), a more extensive color palette (specific case details, witness reports, hundreds of tips, phone logs, videos, photographs, interviews with friends, family input and insight, details of Morgan’s daily life, forensic information, etc), and a varied array of brushes (multiple different agencies, local and national resources, legal and investigative avenues, internet resources, and case histories of similar cases) to create their image. Due to the few confirmed details and confusing and conflicting “facts” presented, the public has a much smaller canvas and only a few colors and brushes. The public image is fuzzy and confusing and doesn’t resemble a complete picture. It is a known fact there are varying levels of knowledge in the public sector and that some (including Blink and Observer to name 2)have more know than the rest of us. Their images are gaining more clarity.
Impressionists use clear, unmixed colors and avoid the use of black to achieve an image that is based on a global, overall view and is not weighted in a myriad of specifically defined details. This allows the viewer to “filter” the image, mix the colors based on their own experiences and values and create an image that is “theirs”. This case is following that lead.
I believe LE is purposefully restricting the flow of information to further their case and I think they are rapidly progressing a resolution. Hopefully, this will happen sooner rather than later and the Harringtons can have answers. The family, Blink and all the members of this forum are in my thoughts and prayers daily.
Sorry for the long post. I do not presume to have substantive information that will more the case forward, but sometimes it is nice to know there are more people in this army that want to bring Morgan home.

Lakeluver, I agree the camera is very important. Thanks for posting that quote of OYE’s. It made me think of a quote we all lived by at one time…. NEVER trust anyone over 30. Lets try to stop judging and try to figure this out. What makes sense, not from our perspectives, not from LE or the Harringtons perspective but from Morgan’s perspective…and from that of her friends,that knew her and her habits.

Afterall, as LE said, they know Morgan’s habits more than the parents, LE or anyone,so they may be throwing out their own whatifs based on their knowing Morgan, and not necessarily because they do in fact “know” something. My take on this is that Blink was right: The Harringtons are breaking a bit from LE, likely out of frustration, and now perhaps are trying to provoke some kind of LE statement. Sort of like “Your move, LE.” It could be stemming from nothing except their desperation to make something happen, which anyone could understand, given circumstances.
Just my impressions.

momof3, I may go check out that campground. It’s hard to believe they have that much room in the back, as there is a road not far beyond. I think they’re sandwiched between Rt.250 and Plank Road, and private property on either side. I’ll googlemap the property. I also noticed that there was a Halloween thing going on that weekend…they run this spooky house fest for a few weekends leading up to Halloween. Two of my kids (when younger) have been to parties there and taken the hayride. It’s that kind of place. This is really camping with a K, but I understand “camping” is not especially what The Friends are doing when at these places.
Just googlemapped Misty Mountain, and I think you can actually see the propery line. It does not go back very far, and is bordered by private property which is mostly open hay field. That is just little Stockton Creek running through it, but once you weave your way around all the kamp buildings, pool with slide, and kamp store, there may be some tent sites at the back along the property line. I’ll double check with my kids, and maybe go over there to see.
Dr. H is a psychiatrist. One way to make LE more proactive (if you feel they are not as proactive as they could be — which I am not suggesting) is to put indirect pressure on them by scaring the surrounding community into thinking it is in danger.
I have been meaning to post this for a while but now seems as good a time as any. I first visited Virginia in the 8th grade when our class took the annual trip to Washington, DC. We spent our first night in the Shenandoah Valley and I thought it was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. After college my brother married a girl from Delaware so every couple of years my family drives up there. The last time we went we spent the night in Richmond on the way up and Roanoke on the way back. I still think it’s beautiful! On that 8th grade trip we visited Monticello, and now that I know about all the history at UVa, I hope I can take a little trip out of the way to visit Charlottesville next time I drive to Delaware. It really sounds like a wonderful town. When we were discussing the Lawn and the famous former residents there, I was mesmerized! The fact that Edgar Allan Poe lived there cinched it. I’ve been thinking a lot recently of his short story “The Tell-tale Heart”. Hopefully someone is starting to sweat a little bit.
Anyway, just wanted to say that about the beautiful state of Virginia and my hope to visit Charlottesville and the Lawn at UVa someday.

I know you have said that you have no confirmation that Morgan was asked to leave JPJ by security, however, I feel she was based upon an experience I observed at Patriot Center. Patiot Center is located in Fairfax VA on the campus of George Mason University. I was at a concert approx a month after Morgan went missing, I went out to the smoking area and was chatting with a young couple, she was sitting on the ground and he was standing, they did not appear to be overly intoxicated and were not acting loud or obnoxious. Two security guards approached them and asked them to leave,security did not ask for identification, did not ask for their names, just told them they had been observed by security inside the venue acting intoxicated.This couple was forced to exit the arena from the smoking area. Again I did not see them inside the arena only in the outside smoking area,where they were talking quietly to eachother, I had briefly engaged them in convo so I know they were both graduates of GMU.That experience really hit a cord with me and is what has me convinced that Morgan was ejected from JPJ for behaving intoxicated. Of course this is just my opinion, but if they had asked her to leave do you really think they would want the public to know.

So far, I’ve only skimmed the posts from yesterday and today. There’s a lot of talk regarding Misty Mountain campgrounds and OYE’s reference to wooded areas to go and party. I can’t add anything to the Misty Mountain theory, but I can offer that MH and friends camped in “Arcadia”. (I’ve seen separate FB accounts w/ photo albums that have this label.) Don’t know what Arcadia would mean to a local person, but here are a couple of campgrounds that come up during a google search.

At first glance, MiddleCreek seems too resort-like or family oriented. But their myspace page shows basic campsites that are in line w/ the pictures and FB photo albums I referenced earlier. I’m not suggesting this is the place in those photos, as I really have no idea) FWIW, Electric Chameleon is listed on their friend list. These places are at least 1.5 hours from Charlottesville, so I don’t know if she would have ventured there during the concert.
I’ve also seen pictures w/ tags of “Barn Party”, but can’t offer anything regarding location etc. And I don’t know if/how this relates, but has it been determined where the picture Blink posted at the beginning of her last piece was taken? Someone suggested it looked a lot like an outdoor stage from a music festival. (Agree) But, could it have been taken in a barn? Maybe someone reading can weigh in.

Oh wow! (I feel like I’m having a dialog with myself.) I was just out and took a turn into the Misty Mt. Campground…please don’t tell my kids or husband or they will put me away. I drove past the long-term-looking RVs, the office, store, and Stop sign. After an open field, there is a wooded hill with a road that looks like it loops around. If I were young and in college, looking for a good, private, cheap place to party, I’d go here for sure. I’d give these girls an A for being creative.
Do we think Morgan came back out here when she left JPJ? It’s literally a half mile from the Crozet exit.

I am back to Misty Mtn campground also. OYE said “campground near a state park”, there is no “State” park near Charlottesville or Harrisonburg. But, MMCG is only 7 miles from Beaver Creek Lake Park. BTW I am sure all of you know it is at the doorstep of Crozet.
