Charlottesville, VA–The disappearance of Morgan Harrington, missing since October 17, 2009 is exhibiting the potential to reach a temperature that is currenlty encompassing the Northeast: VERY COLD.
Through the thousands of posts at blinkoncrime.com and numerous articles covering Morgan, it is clear that frustration in the lack of lead generation and ambiguous statements from the Virginia State Police are causing some to lack conviction Morgan will be found.
In a recent press conference by VSP, LE provided NO NEW information or progress regarding Morgan’s case. In a shift of posture by the Harrington family, Dr. Harrington has begun participating in online chat and sponsored an additional facebook site to help the efforts to find his daughter.
In fact, for the first time in 2.5 months, we know what kind of camera Morgan had with her the evening of the Metallica concert from his research.
In contrast, we have viewed footage and photos of her dear friends that have clearly moved on without the knowledge of their friends plight.
Girls will be girls you say? Before one person comes on here to tell me I am being too critical of these young women you should know that due to a fortunate Facebook update, describing these girls as Morgan’s friends is entirely generous.
Furthermore, if you happen to be one of the parents that has provided booze for underage minors captured on digital for all to see you may wish to take a peek at what is on your daughter’s social sites.
Have you thought about what it would be like to be Gil or Dan while your linin’ it up and throwin’ em back WITH your kids?
Fortunately, this is not the focus today. I do not feel Morgan’s friends did anything to directly cause her fate. They are more “ME” than frienemy, that is evident.
Gil Harrington, posting on the families site findmorgan.com, wrote one of the most eloquent and courageous posts from the Mother of a missing child I have ever read.
The snowfall is beautiful but still disturbing – melancholy. Wonder if Morgan is cold – is snow falling on her face – or is her face covered by leaves in a shallow grave being hidden by the snow. I glance out the window and see the crimson blaze of a cardinal at the bird feeder – my heart leaps for a second at the beauty – then I think its feathers look like blood in the snow. Is that what Morgan’s blood looks like in the snow? See how the pitfalls are everywhere – even at the bird feeder.
In a somewhat angst-ridden moment, a poster on blinkoncrime.com suggested any and all witnesses in this case should be subject to repeated Barry Manilow songs until they confess.
It jogged a memory for me that reminded me that I am proudly my Father’s daughter. Morgan is Dan Harrington’s daughter.
Maybe someone, somewhere, has just not approached that perspective.

Barry holds a special place in the heart of my family. When I was a kid I used to play dress up with my Mom’s clothes. If a pair of her way-too-big-for-me heels was “done”, she would let me cut off the ankle straps and dance around in them as slides.
One afternoon, when I should have been doing my homework, I was blaring Copa Cabana in my Parents study dressed like a thriftshop showgirl and when ” Who could ask for more…at the Copa” part came on, I kicked like a 12 year old Rockette and launched my “slide/RPG” into the ceiling.
There it stayed.
I threw everything I could find at that shoe to dislodge it. Nothing.
Except for the new marks on the scalloped ceiling.
Later, when unbeknownst to me, my Dad was reading his 12 daily newspapers in the study, I thought I might try another idea.
I jumped as hard as I could at the spot upstairs above where the slutslipper was lodged.
It worked on the 3rd try.
How do I know?
I heard a “S o n o f a …..” , then something that sounded like a combination of my first and middle names with a swear word interjected that was rising in tone and volume, and now coming my way.
As I hit the hallway to head to the other direction or squeeze myself unnaturally under something, there He was
My Dad, evidence in hand, smiling wryly form ear to ear.
“Yours I presume, young lady,” his forearm outstretched gently with the nail to my coffin in his palm.
I responded .. “What makes you say that?
Could be ketchup or mustards..”
(Lame editors note: do NOT ask, my sisters and I had bathing suits that matched when we were little that were red, yellow and white, respectively, it stuck to this day, I was Mayo)
He replied .. ” Because I know, this weekend, when you fish out your overalls and help me fix the ceiling before your Mother notices, you would rather do that than whatever she comes up with so we can be all done here. The End. ( Blink dad making the wipe hands clean gesture)
She has been talking about repainting the Family room for months, I would LOVE some help with that…”
“Yes Sir.” I muttered with a matching grimace.
“Can I have it back?” I asked.
“I would say your dancing days are on hold, dear daughter, for the foreseeable future, as are your TV privliges.”
“Anything else? ” I asked.
“Why yes, there is. If you choose to dance through the house with wreckless abandon, next time, do it when your homework is finished and in your tennis shoes. And can you please try to be more like your Mother and less like me?”
“Doubtfull Deets, doubtful.”
With that carefully measured tween rhetort I skipped down the hall, crisis averted and I am still Dad’s fave.
I can live with the painting. Wonder if I can pick the color??
I chose to share this very personal exchange with my Daddy because it dawned on me that maybe someone that reads this does not understand what Morgan’ s Father (and family, but this reference is strictly male) needs from them.
He was her protector. He is her ceiling fixer.
You have to give him back what you took so he can fix it for her and their family.
He does not care who you are or what you may have done.
You can do this for them now. Have faith that anything can be fixed. Anything.

What she was vulnerable to was a predator who was in the University and Chalottesville community on October 17 a well as in November. The Chalottesville community should not turn a blind eye to what occured as it is likely this type of abomination could occur again. Dr. Harrington may have typos on ordinary words or unfamiliar names, like many of us do, but I don’t believe he would misspell Charlottesville, especially not twice, considering how many times he must have typed it over the years and how it has become so emblazened in him now.

Dr. & Mrs. Harrington and Alex, all of us here at BOC have had our hearts captured by Morgan and our hearts ache for your family more than you know. We all come here every day in hopes of finding good news or a break in the case and to try and do what we can, as fellow parents and human beings, to help re-unite you with your beautiful daughter. Unfortunately, there is a lot of bad out in the world, but I like to think there is a lot of good left too. And, I try to believe that in the end, good prevails.
I think I can speak for us all when I say that we are in awe of the strength and courage that your family has shown through out this most horrible nightmare. We can see the pain in your eyes, on your faces. And, we care truly from the bottom of our hearts and that is what brings us all together, here.
May God be with your family. May he look over and protect Morgan. And, we pray for your Morgan to be found. God Bless.

This guy was trolling the Morgan fb site early on for quite a while, was reported by many and banned. Guess he’s back at it. Easy to recognize his “style” by fake fb pages, friends, idiotic comments and ridicule. Warning: he has posted some insensitive comments.
Don’t know how to keep him in line other than to encourage all to report him to admin. of site.

Concerned Mom, hmmm, well there could be funny business going on at the campus police with the reports and all, but on the other hand, the pauses on the other end of the phone could also simply be something like “What on earth is this person asking me to do, and doesn’t she know it’s a three day weekend and everyone with seniority is off and I have no idea what she’s talking about, and why on earth does she even care about this?”
Mosaic, interesting find on the pedo bear, but that just seems to be someone with a rather interesting sense of humor (as most pedo bear, or sometimes pedro bear, posts seem to be, all over the internet).
It’s shock humor, and not everyone’s cup of tea, I’m sure, but I don’t think it’s anything you ought to take too seriously. Kind of a running gag that many will find to be in bad taste.

So, why have total silence from LE. One of the above posts references someone who knows someone who works for another local LE or something that it is hush hush about the Morgan case. We have Dr Harrington making reference to a “predator” and referencing something happenning in November.
Sounds to me like Morgan’s disappearance is part of something bigger.
But, why then is LE not issuing a warning and certainly UVA a warning? At the very least, this seems to me like it would be their duty to do.
What little LE did say was to be on the alert for someone who acted strangely at the concert. Well, someone who left the concert before seeing Metallica and not answer phone calls or texts until the next morning would be someone acting stangely. Therefore, hopefully LE is/has looked at this.

I sincerely hope that LE has checked him out — and I sincerely hope that there’s some kind of miscommunication about him leaving the concert early and that he was there the entire night and has solid alibis for the next few days –
And I sincerely hope that whomever is responsible for Morgan’s fate is identified quickly, and apprehended, and this nightmare comes to an end.
But my last “I sincerely hope” is that if there is a way to give us some kind of a clue if we’re heading off in the wrong direction to right our sails — that that be done.

Hi Momof3: I too was stunned by Dr. Harrington posting. I am glad that he joined us, even if it was just for a short time. It’s a fine line to know what to post, as you mentioned, knowing that Morgans parents may be reading what what we write and what we speculate. I guess balance between good taste and sensitivity?
I haven’t posted as much in the few days had to get my daughter back to school, which she loves, and tie up some lose ends for end of the work week.
Back to WT. I think it was local or word posting up uthread that said she didn’t want to be WT nightmare, and I agree. Just because a name gets brought up on here, they are disected, sliced and diced, but he definitely qualifies for a second look. I know that even the folks over atHFMD FB questioned him early on, so no doubt, as Blink has substantiated, that he probably has been checked out.
Most of the very early posts on the discussion threads on HFMD have been pulled and removed, but there are 2 that still exist back to Oct. WT had posted on those earlier threads.

I want to thank Pacino for calling me a total creep. As volunteer EMT and father of a two year old who works with people who have intellectual disabilities, I’m a total creep. I created this page after I saw Morgan the night of the concert and wouldn’t have been able to live with myself if I hadn’t of done something. I started the group as a way to get her story out to my friends and their friends in hopes that someone else may have seen her and could help. Instead it became a haven for people who wanted to show support to her and her family.

does wayne (facebook guy) personally know the girl or family. i hope friends are not holding back on her reason for going outside of the arena now is not the time. im sure her parents could care less what she was doing they just want her home. i have told mine “i dont care if you are naked wasted and tatooed you will call me if you are in trouble i will be there no matter what – no questions. i so hope she gets home – reminds of one of mine – same age too. i hope if she is with someone they realize the truth always comes out – its much easier to urge or let someone go home before things get more serious. one decision can change a thousand outcomes. i pray you get home to your family morgan

I find it a little disturbing that the guy who set up this page has some very offensive stuff on his own page. Go check the Facebook page of Wayne Townsend (it is wide open as of 10/21), and check out his favorite quotes and his interests. Who writes that kind of stuff? I know everyone appreciates that he took the five minutes to create the page, but honestly the guy seems like a total creep.

I go to JMU– and there are all kinds of assaults that take place, unfortunately on a semi-regular basis. It seems like once a week, we’re getting those “timely notice” messages that tell us about the latest attack.
As a freshman, the police tell you that there are known gang connections in the area. One of the things they tell you is that each semester for gang initiation, they go to JMU and they have to rape someone. It’s really scary.
I feel like not all these attacks are gangs, but it is possible. Maybe it’s not just in the Harrisonburg area either? worth looking into? maybe.
Checking out that Pedo bear site made my hair stand on end. Did you see the picture of the baby? So did he create a faux Morgan FB account just to friend it? Something is really off here. I looked at it an hour ago and I’m still skeeved out.
I think odep and his buddies are getting off on trolling sensitive sites like anti-pedophile and missing children etc. and then sharing. The bunch of them that belong to the “trolling” group seem to be trolling in groups all over the place for their own sick amusement. My guess, nothing to worry about, but what a bunch of jerks!
In regards to Mr. Harrington misspelling Charlottesville more than once, I worked for many years in Washington, DC, and can’t tell you how many times I have mistyped the word Washington as “Wahsington.” I still do it on a regular basis! If it wasn’t for spell-check, I wouldn’t catch my mistake despite knowing I make it over and over again. As a result, I personally don’t think Mr. Harrington was being cryptic, but I’d gladly admit I’m wrong if it turns out he was dropping a breadcrumb.

I write and erase often because I don’t think I have much to contribute, except care. I dream of her and I pray for the Harringtons every day. I found this comment by WT. Very strange fellow indeed. He says he works for ARC of Piedmont but I couldn’t find his name under staff. ARC works with the disabled. They’ve helped my daughter in my state.

Hello everyone at Blink On Crime, 2/3 Months ago i did some detective work myself, i looked into alota people on facebook, mingled and become facebook “friends” with Wayne, Will, Sean, and Rob and of course Marvin… I scoured there facebook walls each one of them, i was on to this before any of you even mention this here, and one of the main things that led me there was Wayne Interview with a news group, and secondly becuase he was sharp quick to be good guy and setup a Facebook group to help find morgan.
Wayne Townsend Worked at the John Paul Arena in Charlottesville VA about 1 yr ago, he actualy said this himself which still remain today on the discussion board of the help find morgan group…
Wayne Townsed then started working as an EMT around the location of the “John Paul Arena” aswell, he got the job due to the fact its run by many members of hes family, the pictures you see on waynes profile are him wearing hes EMT uniform infront of there EMT Van.
Even though it looks like Wayne has many friends, the people who realy are hes true friends are actualy very Morbid they have very few interactions with others and there friends lists are very small on there facebooks. Alota people have added wayne primarily due to him running the facebook group.
Wayne was running the group with 2 other people these people was from totaly different countrys 1 was france cant remember the other, after i confronted him, on a 1on 1 about questions on the night of the concert he was very freaked out, and he actualy added some more admins for the group who was from more local area probably becuase he noticed the group was attracting detectives and they was going right for him.

Lastly i would like to provide a chat that i had with Wayne Townsend, i got all my information by mingling with hes friends on facebook:
I was using a fake facebook page of a blonde girl called Jenna who had just moved back to VA, until i had enough and decided i would have to initiate and plan with all my knowledge on everybody who went to the concert who didnt, and the mobile messages they posted on wall of the night was a good bait to pretend i was at the concert aswell, and witnessed them there..
Im not sure if this proves anything it probably dont, but if anyone else find this doesnt match upto anything youve seen wayne say anywhere else then this would be good proof that wayne is caught out, i personally think Wayne knows somthing that one of hes friends done that night, and he runs the facebook group cos its only thing that helps him cope with what he keeping secret.

Regarding Dr. Harrington’s initial post, I don’t believe there is anything cryptic in the Chalottesville typo. But I do read tons into his statement:

I know there have been discussions about LE’s statement of Morgan’s vulnerability, but I’m going to bring it up again. It rubbed me the wrong way. When did we as a society start shifting the responsibility from the criminals to the victims? A person can only do so much to protect themselves. I relate it to hockey. No matter how great a goalie is, he can’t do it all. You need to stop the forwards (attackers). And I resent the constant innuendos that a female victim brings ill fate upon herself by doing x or not doing y.
Whether a woman is drunk or sober is of NO significance to a predator who can overtake her by force. I think that’s what Dr. Harrington meant in that statement, and I wholeheartedly agree with him. I don’t understand why LE is not alerting the public, but they should. Even if Morgan knew this person, he is still a threat to others.

WT….I had concern about him right from the start. I first started reading face book when Morgan first disappeared and I saw his comments and the interview he gave and wondered WHY he was the one being interviewed….yes Hink-O-meter was on high alert with him then and even more so now.
Dr. Harrington, I am so glad you have started posting here as well. My heart aches for you and your family. Blinks site has so many wonderful people who all love your daughter and have all of you in their hearts. I pray daily for Morgans safe return and for some resolution for you and your wonderful wife. WT had himself listed as married to Tracy Townsend on one of his pages (I can’t find it this morning, but it was there yesterday. Is this his ex-wife or his make believe pretend wife?
Way back, someone profiled the abductor as a person who frequently plays online games or computer games. WT talks about playing games a lot and they are very violent games.
Regarding where WT lives, I found a WT in Standardsville (which is Greene County). Here is the link, I hope it works. Concerned Mom, hmmm, well there could be funny business going on at the campus police with the reports and all, but on the other hand, the pauses on the other end of the phone could also simply be something like “What on earth is this person asking me to do, and doesn’t she know it’s a three day weekend and everyone with seniority is off and I have no idea what she’s talking about, and why on earth does she even care about this?”
Suz- I more got the feeling she was thinking, “uh oh,what should I say?” I told her I was just a concerned mom. I don’t know, but I would think if there had been a missing persons report at UVA she would have known, right off the bat that there had been this report made and that it was either just a false alarm and answered, 1. “oh yeah, that turned out to be nothing” OR 2. for some unknown reason to me, “UH oh, I know I am not supposed to say anything to anyone”
My point being, missing persons reports at UVA or in Charlottesville is not the norm and I can’t understand why it took her 5 minutes to come back with the answer.
OOops I noticed that a partial question of mine got through last night (maybe?)…my computer is jumpy. I don’t know police procedure for handling communication in an MP case, but is LE obligated to tell the Harrington’s everything concerning Morgan’s case? As a parent I’d sure want to know what was going on every step of the way. I realize, as much as we’ve come to love Morgan, that WE’re not actually family and aren’t privy to everything, but I would hate for the Harrington’s to feel like they’re kept in the dark. I can see why Natalie Holloway’s mom set up shop at the doorstep of the police station in Aruba. I just feel frustrated for the family that this case seems to be moving so slowly.

I was just in North Carolina and at a McDonalds. There were about 10 girls in there all about Morgans age. One girl really made me do a double take. She had on black boots almost to her knees, black nylon/leggins, black mini shorts and a black jacket/blazer and she had blonde hair only her hair was shoulder length….I actually walked in front of her purposely to see her face. My heart also leaped….and then I felt sorrow when I realize it was not Morgan.
On our way home we stopped in Virginia for gas and there were 2 girls getting gas also. They had a silver accura. The driver had dark hair but the passenger walked in front of my car. She had on sweatpants and a shirt. The sweats across the back said “Z Z Z” she had long blonde curly hair and once again my heart leaped, only to see once again it was not Morgan.
We were on I 77 in Virginia, coming back to Ohio, and I was looking thru the trees (which I did the whole way to and from NC) I noticed a white car sitting in the woods with just a little turn around but no houses or anything around it and it struck me as odd that the car was there with nothing else. To me it looked abandoned. Now I am not good with directions and that kind of stuff but I know we were possibly on 52 getting ready to go onto I 77 right around Whytheville and where I saw this car was right around bluefield/princeton. I don’t know if I am making any sense to anyone living out that way, I just thought the car was definetly out of place. There was snow on the ground but no tire tracks……the car has been there for awhile. Maybe someone else has seen this???

seems like greene county rescue assists at uva events? the morris/townsend family all seem to be involved with the “good work” of a community? maybe wayne, started Morgan’s facebook because he was close to a situation and felt compelled to act? i cetainly hope so. but if not, i suspect that LE already had looked into this guy. with that being said, sometimes an arsonist loves to see his work burning. this is just a thought. i hope that someone who’s family is this involved with providing a community a service as important and vital as rescue would be above approach but reality is that sometimes they are not. a mother, sister and other relatives work side by side, with wayne townsend, wouldn’t they know if something was up? why of course, they would. shouldn’t they do something about it if they suspected something was off or too facinated? why, of course they should!!

Wow I just went over to findmorgan.com, read the Drugs in Charlottesville thread, and they actually fight over there. Questioner is doing a lot of research on drugs, gangs, and murder in Charlottesville, and it’s almost as though she’s talking about a different town. I do know there is gang presence in Virginia, but gangs have an easier time in the poorer communities, and drugs can really take over the towns struggling in this economy. Take Galax, VA, for instance…it was in the news last year for having two drug cartels there not just doing business, but thriving. Meth has become a real problem there, and from what I understand it’s a problem all throughout the Valley (Shenendoah)…which would include Harrisonburg. Interstate 81 makes this easy. I know there are neighborhoods in Charlottsville where there could possibly be gang activity, there are certianly drugs, and occassionally a murder does happen. A murder is always front page news, and we really don’t have as much of it as Questioner and others want to portray. How about cross-referencing some of the police reports with cases actually brought to trial. For instance the student aledgedly missing from Lyle dorm…there was a police report but she wasn’t actually missing. I know I can get defensive about my town, but this is not NYC, Detroit, Miami, or even Norfolk, VA. It is a nice college town surrounded by incredible history and beauty. Every college town has to deal with the town-and-gown factor. Girls, lock your doors, look after eachother, and never go anywhere alone. Stay out of the bad neighborhoods. I don’t care where you live.
BTW the N. Berkshire address in one of the police reports is a place where students shouldn’t go. And Wertland Street is between the Corner and a very poor neighborhood…an example of where students are too close to an existing problem. Gentrification at it’s best. This is a trouble spot because students wander home late after drinking, return to unlocked houses, etc. and become easy pray. This is a problem, but students also have to be aware of their situation. And I would bet this is a problem in every college town…find me one where there is no friction between the “rich” students and the poorer comminity. It’s an age-old struggle.

He has this written on his page, and it is bothering me. Also, I clicked on some of his listed “friends”, and there is a little girl in there with a striking resemblance to JonBenet Ramsey.

even though, i agree with chad about watching what we post. make sure it is not gossip, like blink said. i think that we all need to keep throwing the thoughts and theories out here. maybe just maybe that one idea will lead to something. this is my hope and i am going to have faith that someone out there will realize that people are not going to give up on this girl!
Blink: I don’t know if this story is appropriate. There was a previous mention of the drugs available to someone who works with the mentally disabled.
A Botetourt County rescue squad member who was also an employee of the Roanoke County fire and rescue squad was caught stealing drugs for his personal use. Since this article was published, he pleaded guilty (below).

Sweet resigned from his paid job at the Roanoke County Fire and Rescue Department’s Masons Cove station last month, department spokeswoman Jennifer Conley Sexton said.
He is charged in Botetourt County with three counts of possessing morphine and three counts of obtaining drugs by embezzlement.
Sweet is charged with embezzlement because he was entrusted with the rescue squad’s drug supply in some capacity, Botetourt County Commonwealth’s Attorney Joel Branscom said. Sweet helped out with the rescue squad, Paderick said.
Branscom said it appears that the drugs were taken on three occasions in May and July. [snip]

what I’m about to say is gross gross gross to the Max — my parents were the ones who always took care of the medical needs of our pets growing up — me, in my teenage rebelliousness to parents and brattiness — never gave it a second thought — just like I never gave it a thought that when I hit the switch the lights would come on, my school tuition was paid, there was food in the fridge and on and on —
So when I was in my very early 20′s, living on my own and knowing everything in the world, my cat got sick, so I took him to the vet — the vet said: he’s got tape worms — I, knowitallself replied: How do YOU know — and he took a clamp and clamped on to a piece of tape worm and pulled it from my cat’s hind parts — ( I gave you the gross forewarning !)
That was 20 years ago and I still cringe — I freaked out — I’m not kidding — I couldn’t look — I started to gag — the whole 9 yards — and I said: I don’t care what you gotta do — just do it and I’ll pay the bill —
the vet looked at me as though he needed to call 9-1-1 — he said: you just have to give this oral injection in 2 weeks — My beloved cat was banned to the outside — it was summer — and I loaded him up in 2 weeks and took him to the vet and paid $70 for them to open his mouth and shoot yellow gunk down his throat w/ a syringe and 2 wks later I brought him back, along w/ a stool sample that they looked at under a microscope — oh, mercy !! declared him worm free — and taught me tape worms come from animals swallowing live fleas when they lick –
then my child was standing in line with his class in the school hallway in the 2nd grade waiting to go to lunch — he had his hand resting up against the doorjamb of the classroom with the open door — the teacher got PO’d that there was noise in the hallway — slammed the door and cut my child’s finger off — they were able to reattach — 48 nasty looking stitches that needed to be cleaned and the bandage changed every 2 days — took him to my friend who was an RN every 2 days because I just could not bear to look at it — it was so bad looking that when it came time to have the stitches removed, the nurse in the office refused and the dr. had to do it —
Moral of that story is: I know my cat was infected, I knew what had to be done to fix the problem — I just wasn’t at that time capable of doing it — same /w my kid — I just could not bear to look at his little precious finger —
I don’t want to speak for Dr. H and family, but I think it’s the same w/ him — he knows every aspect has to be examined — no stone unturned — until Morgan — and the “predator” — are found

Fish…thanks for posting that youtube video. Is this really the WT we’ve been talking about who filmed it? This person gets off on seeing the look of fear in someone else’s eyes. My guess is this is a pond on private property, or these guys lease some hunting land somewhere. I have mentioned the poverty in some of the surrounding counties, but all of these areas are rural and beautiful. There is so much hunting land out there, and so many secluded spots. This could be a pond on land that the T family has had for generations, and maybe only a few outside the family have ever seen it. This all makes me think of Richmond’s Taylor Behl case (sorry again for the spelling.) Might take an ex-girlfriend, brother, or childhood friend to come up with the answer.

I am 33 years old and from Germany (sorry for my worse english).
I have alot of concert experience and my first concert was with 13 years. I’m a big Metallica fan also and i follow Morgan’s case, since the beginning. Hope my thoughts can help a little and may bring light into the dark.
As we all know there are many discussions about Morgan and I do not know Morgan personally. All I know is, that Morgan is 20 years old and not a small child anymore. Alcohol abuse and other things are social problems and I do not think, it has anything to do with this/her case. In the United States you have other laws. Here in Germany it is allowed to drink Beer with the age of 16. Booze and harder drinks you can buy legally with 18. In one word: Different rules!
I don’t believe she took the wrong way outside to smoke and i do not believe she has been kicked out of the venue, because of some behaviour. Do you really believe Morgan was an trouble maker? You have to act very bad and you have to break all the rules before you get escort outside the venue by security. If that happened, we would all know about.
We do not know what person she met inside the concert. The friends did not, too. They were not with her in that time. Someone she knows from internet Myspace, Facebook? A guy knew the routine from working the venue? Noone knows wich way she has choosen to go outside! Maybe a person the parents and friends do not know about? We all do not know! This whole thing started inside the venue, because why would she left the venue before Metallica hit the stage? She had her tickets for months! There is no reason to go outside with a no re-entry policy!
I ask my self thousand of times & this question stays always in my mind.

Is there any person, a guy knew the routine from working the venue? The person is not unknown in the arena and is entering another door as the main entrance? Because he is known from his earlier work. Those other working people (security / door guys) knowing him very well and are thinking he is “here” to work. So there will be no control for him to enter. That makes it possible to go inside when ever he wants! With “alibi”ticket/pass or without! Routine thing for him and the others! This Dude came in the arena that night, but not for the work! Knows, Morgan is attend to this Metallica concert, because of FB, texting etc.

WT, tell us what you saw Saturday night. Did anything stand out to you at all?
WT, WITNESS (via phone): Well, when I pulled up the news Monday morning after hearing about Morgan`s case, after seeing her picture and the description of what she was wearing, it just kind of stuck a bell in the back of my head. And I said, you know, I do remember seeing a girl that matched that description. However, the only thing that…

TOWNSEND: The only place that I can actually describe the location in the arena, cause it was, you know, very crowded throughout the whole area.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Inside or outside? Was she outside?
WT: She was inside on the — as you call it, the upper corridor, where all the vendors are and where they serve all the beers and the I.D. check.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Was she alone?
WT: I couldn`t tell if she was alone, because there was so many people, and it was kind of like a passing by kind of thing.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: But she says she went out to go to the bathroom and couldn`t get back in. Was this she after she went into the bathroom or would this be something inside the stadium?
WT: This was going to be inside the stadium is where I can remember seeing — seeing her.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Whew, wow, but she didn`t seem in any kind of anxiety?
WT: You know, I mean, we were all kind of, sort of pushed through and kind of like to get where we were going. I mean, everyone kind of — had a bit of anxiety to them, you know, trying to push through. And kind of get to whatever part of the arena that they were trying to get to.
VELEZ-MITCHELL: Brian Russell, psychologist. What do you make of the fact that this was a Metallica concert, and it would attract a certain kind of customer?
BRIAN RUSSELL, PSYCHOLOGIST: Well, I don`t know that I`d make, really, that much of that. I`d be interested in hearing from the caller who was at concert. Is this is the kind of a venue where somebody could end up outside the ticket gates, trying to get to the restroom? Or must there have been some other reason for going outside of the ticket area?
HONOWITZ: That`s what I — that`s what I was saying. Yes.

Always possible to re-enter for him and not for her! May explain why she was outside and could not re-enter.
I’ve been to 12 Metallica shows here in Europe. The entrance was at 6:00 PM between 7:00 PM. Metallica started with the show between 9:00 PM & some of them at 9:15 PM. The show they normally goe to play is 2 hours 15 minutes.
As i can see is, they have the same time schedule or timetable in the U.S.
This indicates to me, that Morgan was still trying to get back into the arena between 8:20 to 9:00 Pm (40 minutes!)
For me it seems, looking at the timeline given by the State Police, you see Morgan walking away from the arena at 9:00 – 9:10 PM. (maybe given up, relized there was no chance to get in, in any way!)

8:20 – 8:48 PM: Someone matching Morgan Harrington’s description was seen outside John Paul Jones Arena parking lot by the ticket office and on the University Hall side.

8:48 PM: Morgan calls a friend inside the arena, discusses trying to get back in. Tells her friend that she will get a ride home from friends around Charlottesville.

8:48 – 9:00 PM: Morgan is still spotted outside the arena. Police say they have no indication she re-entered the building.

9:00 – 9:10 PM: Someone matching Morgan’s description was seen walking through the University Hall parking lot. Nobody saw her with someone, but there were other people walking in the same direction.

#1371 GeegLouise – I totally agree!! Morgan is a victim and the only one responsible or to blame is the person who took her. And, that person needs to be caught like 3 months ago.
Okay — I promised Blink I wouldn’t talk about the “woo woo” stuff anymore — I said my little piece and why I posted — but I’ve had personal bad feelings about this guy for months and I called up my friend — who lives way across the country and they don’t have TV reception because they live too far from the nearest station and no cable so don’t know anything about Morgan other than what I’ve told her —
I said pretty much — I’m calling about Morgan — how do you feel about ___
she had an immediate bad reaction and said he was definitely involved in some way —
Now — that could be that he is involved because he was on NG or set up that page or under suspicion not just here — or maybe she was picking up my thoughts —
and I think — don’t mean to speak for Blink, she will correct me if I’m wrong — but I ‘think’ that is part of the reason Blink doesn’t give much truck to “psychic” impressions in MP cases — other than the blatant publicity seeking and hounding of the family — which I just don’t understand, either — WHY do you refuse to even try to get whatever it is you get w/out being in contact w/ the family ? — My friend, whom I believe in because she is my friend and I’ve known her for years and I know where her heart is and what her abilities are — she was able to tune into Morgan w/out knowing about the case, except what I had mentioned — w/out know who her family is — which I didn’t mention — or anything like that —
I wish I could paint — and I try — I have mastered the art of “painting” snowflakes — you load the brush w/ white paint then take your finger and “flick” the bristles on the paper — ta da ! snowflakes — but if you’re an artist seems to me you can paint a tree from a picture of the tree without having to touch it and talk to the property owners —
I also don’t understand why you’re not able to pick up psychic impressions until you’ve been paid $600

Also, this is just me personally — I feel/want those BB players to tell me in great detail every word they spoke to Morgan and every word she spoke back to them — what her demeanor was, etc. — because they are the last known people to interact w/ her — but I don’t feel that they had anything to do w/ what happened to her — other than, if they saw she was really impaired, they should have tried to get her help — and Assne — he doesn’t speak English — I don’t even know if he understood half of what she said, if any —
i’ve never thought they were involved w/ her ultimate destiny — but I didn’t share that w/ my friend — i did ask her: she talked to some BB players — are they involved — she gave me an immediate no —
If I were him — and if he or one of his buddies are reading this board — I’d go turn myself into LE — with a lawyer if he you need one — and say: listen, I’m being blasted all over the internet — I didn’t have a dang thing to do w/ that missing girl — i just want her found like everybody else out there — I have a rock solid alibi — I was in the concert the whole time — and these are all the people who sat around me and can verify that — then I went home and went to bed ’cause I had to work the next day — showed up for work — or church — or whatever — and here are my witnesses — then I would have said attorney release a public statement — this is a serious case, and if I didn’t have anything to do w/ her missing, screw the “I don’t have to prove anything to anybody” indignities and tell everything and give as much corroberating evidence as possible —

I’ve been doing a lot of reading, metaphysical/philosophical stuff, to find a quote for skyler but bottom line is: skyler, you’ll be fine!
Last night I dreamed very vividly that I was watching TV and a news report came on that there had been an arrest in the Morgan Harrington case, which was surprising since I always felt she would be found first. I’m just sharing, it was only a dream.
But I do think as long as this site is here there will be an answer in this case. Just wanted to say good job ya’ll. Blink and team, fellow posters. Please don’t stop searching for that answer. Localcvillegirl, I think those banners are “blinking” lol!
