Charlottesville, VA–The disappearance of Morgan Harrington, missing since October 17, 2009 is exhibiting the potential to reach a temperature that is currenlty encompassing the Northeast: VERY COLD.

Image5435029x

Through the thousands of posts at blinkoncrime.com and numerous articles covering Morgan, it is clear that frustration in the lack of lead generation and ambiguous statements from the Virginia State Police are causing some to lack conviction Morgan will be found.

In a recent press conference by VSP, LE provided NO NEW information or progress regarding Morgan’s case. In a shift of posture by the Harrington family, Dr. Harrington has begun participating in online chat and sponsored an additional facebook site to help the efforts to find his daughter.

In fact, for the first time in 2.5 months, we know what kind of camera Morgan had with her the evening of the Metallica concert from his research.

AmymaggieIn contrast, we have viewed footage and photos of her dear friends that have clearly moved on without the knowledge of their friends plight.

Girls will  be girls you say? Before one person comes on here to tell me I am being too critical of these young women you should know that due to a fortunate Facebook update, describing these girls as Morgan’s friends is entirely generous.

Furthermore, if you happen to be one of the parents that has provided booze for underage minors captured on digital for all to see you may wish to take a peek at what is on your daughter’s social sites.

Have you thought about what it would be like to be Gil or Dan while your linin’ it up and throwin’ em back WITH your kids?

Fortunately, this is not the focus today. I do not feel Morgan’s friends did anything to directly cause her fate.  They are more “ME” than frienemy, that is evident.

Gil

Gil Harrington, posting on the families site findmorgan.com, wrote one of the most eloquent and courageous posts from the Mother of a missing child I have ever read.

The snowfall is beautiful but still disturbing – melancholy.  Wonder if Morgan is cold – is snow falling on her face – or is her face covered by leaves in a shallow grave being hidden by the snow.  I glance out the window and see the crimson blaze of a cardinal at the bird feeder – my heart leaps for a second at the beauty – then I think its feathers look like blood in the snow.  Is that what Morgan’s blood looks like in the snow?  See how the pitfalls are everywhere – even at the bird feeder.

In a somewhat angst-ridden moment, a poster on blinkoncrime.com suggested any and all witnesses in this case should be subject to repeated Barry Manilow songs until they confess.

Dan

It jogged a memory for me that reminded me that I am proudly my Father’s daughter. Morgan is Dan Harrington’s daughter.

Maybe someone, somewhere, has just not approached that perspective.

In response to the MAN-i-low dis-

Blink prefacing below to say: yes, off topic, and yes, I am on cold meds, but y’all went after the “MAN ilow”.  < ?xml:namespace prefix ="" o />

Barry holds a special place in the heart of my family. When I was a kid I used to play dress up with my Mom’s clothes. If a pair of her way-too-big-for-me heels was “done”, she would let me cut off the ankle straps and dance around in them as slides.

One afternoon, when I should have been doing my homework, I was blaring Copa Cabana in my Parents study dressed like a thriftshop showgirl and  when ” Who could ask for more…at the Copa” part came on, I kicked like a 12 year old Rockette and launched my “slide/RPG” into the ceiling.

There it stayed.

I threw everything I could find at that shoe to dislodge it. Nothing.

Except for the new marks on the scalloped ceiling.

Later, when unbeknownst to me, my Dad was reading his 12 daily newspapers in the study, I thought I might try another idea.

I jumped as hard as I could at the spot upstairs above where the slutslipper was lodged.

It worked on the 3rd try.

How do I know?

I heard a “S o n o f  a …..”  , then something that sounded like a combination of my first and middle names with a swear word interjected that was rising in tone and volume, and now coming my way.

As I hit the hallway to head to the other direction or squeeze myself unnaturally under something, there He was

My Dad, evidence in hand, smiling wryly form ear to ear.

“Yours I presume, young lady,”  his forearm outstretched gently with the nail to my coffin in his palm.

I responded .. “What makes you say that?

Could be ketchup or mustards..”

(Lame editors note: do NOT ask, my sisters and I had bathing suits that matched when we were little that were red, yellow and white, respectively, it stuck to this day, I was Mayo)

He replied .. ” Because I know, this weekend, when you fish out your overalls and help me fix the ceiling before your Mother notices, you would rather do that than whatever she comes up with  so we can be all done here. The End. ( Blink dad making the wipe hands clean gesture)

She has been talking about repainting the Family room for months, I would LOVE some help with that…”

“Yes Sir.”  I muttered with a matching grimace.

“Can I have it back?” I asked.

“I would say your dancing days are on hold, dear daughter, for the foreseeable future, as are your TV privliges.”

“Anything else? ” I asked.

“Why yes, there is. If you choose to dance through the house with wreckless abandon, next time, do it when your homework is finished and in your tennis shoes. And can you please try to be more like your Mother and less like me?”

“Doubtfull Deets, doubtful.”

With that carefully measured tween rhetort I skipped down the hall, crisis averted and I am still Dad’s fave.

I can live with the painting. Wonder if I can pick the color??

I chose to share this very personal exchange with my Daddy because it dawned on me that maybe someone that reads this does not understand what Morgan’ s Father (and family, but this reference is strictly male) needs from them.

He was her protector.   He is her ceiling fixer.

You have to give him back what you took so he can fix it for her and their family.

He does not care who you are or what you may have done.

You can do this for them now. Have faith that anything can be fixed. Anything.

    Fish, important point you wrote:

Dan was not a direct friend of Morgan, he was a fellow friend’s boyfriend. Important, I don’t know….

The definition of “Shore up” on the online dictionary is to support, hold up or strengthen. I think Gil probably meant she was going to NY to support or cheer up her son as he was down about Morgan. Just my take on it. Didn’t see anything pertaining to horses.

  5. moon says:

I just wanted to give my thoughts on the WT issue. First though, peace & love to the Harringtons.

To me, the only things that raise my eyebrows and make me go ‘hmmm….’ about WT are as follows – this is what’s already out there and not going on social judgments based on his interests:

    1. he sees morgan in passing at the concert (does he follow her?)

    2. he is in the same section (sees her again?)

    3. he seemingly disappears from the concert that sort of fits in the timeline and cannot be reached. (the only way you “miss calls” is if you purposely ignore them – I don’t give much credo to the “i didn’t see your missed calls…” UNLESS your phone is on ringer and not vibrate and you do not hear your phone ring (loud concert) (you don’t see missed calls if you turn your phone off – only text msgs and voicemails, at least all the phones i’ve ever had).

    4. he started a “help find” page about a pretty, missing young woman (at the time was he planning on marriage or in a relationship or had they broken up already? if i were his girlfriend i wouldn’t like that very much, it would seem a little weird to me). This to me, immediately says, I want to insert myself in this case (i do not know for what reason, but my intuition says to look like a “good guy” – he may very well be a ‘good guy’…who am i to make that judgment?

    5. he somehow gets on national news to give an insignificant recount of his harmless sighting of morgan (that can’t really be confirmed) – (what about the other people who claim to have seen, been kicked by, etc. morgan? – they didn’t make it to the national news and someone could deem their interactions just as insignificant, yet, with apparent ease, he cruises into the national news) —another ‘i want to help, /doe-eyes”.

    6. his marriage plans fall apart soon thereafter (don’t know exact time, going on previous posts and memory).

    7. EMT/Security background

    8. Family connections to lots of land and a body of water in a rural area

What does not make me go “hmm…”:
-Homemade zombie/horror movies – a lot of horror fans (speaking from observations of friends) are into the “special effects” and the “gore factor” and love the horror genre for its complete fake-ness and how utterly bad the movies are – (i don’t get it – i’d rather watch a good movie) – and some people just like to be scared, i guess.

-Metal fan – No matter how easy it is to say that choice of bands makes someone questionable, i just don’t believe that. I can see how parents might think that, though and that makes sense.

-Sick/distateful humor – i mean, hey, who can explain bad taste? some people just love to shock.

This is just my opinion, but I think if the pre-disposition to harm, abduct, or what have you, is already planted in an individual, it doesn’t matter much what music/movie genre/etc. you’re into – your biology is going to steer you naturally toward your inevitable sociopathic tendencies. The darker side of life (death metal or horror flicks) could maybe only validate and reinforce those already-present tendencies/thoughts.

We really don’t know anything about WT other than what he is presenting us.

Please don’t take offense – I admire all of your brilliant minds, or else i wouldn’t check this site everyday.

according to http://www.rockvillemag.com the facts minus the sea of web conjecture are as follows:

    • Harrington arrived safely at the arena in her car which was driven by a friend. She was in the company of two girlfriends and a young man who was the boyfriend of mutual friend. It was in fact Harrington’s car, not a friend’s vehicle as earlier reported in the media, which did take all four students to the arena. The keys remained with Harrington’s friend, inside the venue.

KEYS what if — friends gave keys to Morgan or Morgan held keys. After show they waited for Morgan and were surprised to find car with keys in it parked in lot. I recall reading somewhere that AM was surprised the car was there.

Maybe thats why SS told her not to get drunk — b/c Morgan was going to drive some place and would come back and pick them up.

**Did LE ever say she was in fact locked out of her car?
**Maybe she was never on the bridge…and everything happened in the lot

fyi, from the findmorgan.com “news” tab:

Members of the Roanoke community and employees of the Carilion Clinic have organized a benefit basketball game and event, “Docs for Morgan” to be held at Northside High School at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. This event aims to increase awareness of Morgan’s disappearance, raise donations for the Find Morgan Fund, and offer support to the Harrington family. The Harrington family extends their appreciation to those who have generously come together to organize and participate in this event.

I think I’m having computer problems — Lizzy, I responded earlier, but I don’t think my computer uploaded —

what a beautiful thought, especially on this day that we celebrate the life of MLK.

One of the best MLK stories I know, he and his family were driving by an amusement park in or near Atlanta where they lived. His children asked him why they had never gone and would he take them. He replied that they were not allowed to go inside because of the color of their skin, but he promised his daughter one day things would be different because he would not stop until they were.

The assassination of MLK did not end the movement, but caused it to grow stronger.

That’s kind of what’s happening here. We’ve come under fire for continuing to push to get answers of what happened to Morgan.

mjh, Fish already said this, but I stand right there beside her — incredible post. Thank you.

To all of my friends here, thank you all for your prayers and suggestions and lifting me up — I just lost a job (which I don’t mean that shallow in any way) — but the Harringtons lost a child and a sister. I feel your caring for me, and I know they have to feel us caring for them, and for Morgan, even if they don’t know where that extra strength and caring comes from ie, does a tree falling in the forest still make a sound if there is no one there to hear it?

Well, maybe no people are there, but birds, and animals and forest dwellers are there.

The person who took Morgan may “think” they’ve gotten away w/ this because no “person” was there to “hear/see” it — as my mamma used to say, you’d better think again.

One thing that caught my eye, so to speak, was the post about the Examiner writer who is now only speaking to the “inner circle” because of information she has discovered, which adds credence to my belief those friends know more than they’re stating, and especially SS.

And whomever asked this question — I’d forgotten all about it, but yes, I do remember a reference that perhaps Morgan was seeing an older man — which certainly negates Dr. H’s bold statement that there is a predator loose in the city. And whomever posted about that person leaving and then returning is a great idea, as well. Back in the dark ages when men used to klunk women over the head, because as my child told his kindergarten teacher that it was my birthday and she asked him how old I was, he looked at her w/ his little angelic face and big blue eyes and calmly replied: she’s older than dirt !

But I used to date a boy who was a boilermaker (no, not a bartender. He constructed industrial-sized furnaces) — but he’d be gone 2 or 3 wks at a time, then come home for a few days, and off again …

Although I still believe it was someone Morgan knew and had planned to meet up with.

I call us, behind all of your/our backs, the Blink Squad (kind of after Best Buy’s Geek Squad).

I’ve never been involved in an online forum like this before, and even though there are other forums out there, this one is so unique — the vast wisdom and life experiences of everyone just blows me away, every single day — your posts and your abilities never cease to amaze me. As this case never ceases to inspire me in my “real life.”

My child has my debit card, supposedly only for him to use in case of emergency. He will call me and ask me if he can use it, and I usually say yes. Well, the stinker, used it today — after I specifically told him he could not — to buy not one, but two packs of cigarettes. Cigarettes killed both of my parents and my grandfather. It kills me that my son smokes, but he is 18 — but by Gawd I’m not going to pay for his habit. When I saw that on my bank account today I called him and told him what I thought about it and basically hung up the phone.

I came here and read your posts and called him and apologized for saying angry words, but not for being angry. I kept thinking: suppose those are the last words I ever speak to my child ?

You are all amazing people — gathered here by the actions of an amazing woman who works hard to help the missing every day of her life.

I am so fortunate to be a part of you. We will find Morgan. I have no doubt.

    Sweet dreams, everyone.

  17. Dar says:

Let’s go back to the witnesses. We have
    1.) Granny (whom I believe saw something…)
2.) Limo driver (who can place her with the BB players)
3.) 44 yr. old kickee (suspicious to me)
4.) WT and DW (WT more suspicious then DW)
5.) BB Players (last ones to talk to Morgan….suspicious)
6.) Person who says she was HH….(not sure what way to think with this.)
7.) Lady who arrived late (saw Morgan with 3-4 guys in black)

I still go back to the last “KNOWN” people who talked to Morgan….BB players…my way of thinking with them is yes they have their futures to think about and what the rules are…but you also have a beautiful blonde girl (possibly drunk/high) and 18-20+ yr old guys….Hormones kick in and rules go out the window….

I am at a loss and really have nothing to add to help move this along. I am not sure what to think of WT…he is creepy but kids do get into the stuff he is doing. Doesn’t mean they go out and abduct/kill someone. I would like to know if indeed he left the concert (the reason he missed calls on his phone and his friends not knowing his where abouts…..)

Does anyone know anything about the kickee??? That has always seemed funny to me. The fact that he called his girlfriend and told her, like he was trying to cover his butt….

My heart just aches every time I read one of Gil’s posts…I feel her pain so much. Why does this happen???? Why are these sick individuals allowed to take out children and do whatever they feel like doing to them???? And why are they not caught sooner or if ever??? I just don’t get it. I can not fathom one human being hurting another human being….

I don’t know where to go from here, I am at a loss. I will never give up on Morgan but something needs to move forward or shes going to become another statistic…..

Skyler Beautiful post. I agree whole heartedly about your child. I tend to be way too overprotective, if there is such a thing now, but I try to live as “what if those were my last words to that person”. That puts me in check real quick and I try not to let my close loved ones leave my sight without the hearfelt ‘I love you’ and often tell them how deeply I care for them. They know they are loved. Just as I know Morgan did. I must admit I tend to skip over her parents posts…just to painful to feel their discomfort and broken hearts. I ache inside for them.

  22. wpgmouse says:

    Morning to everyone,

I’ve gotten off the horse (perhaps I went on too zealous of a ride) and have found myself a bit dizzy. Regrettably, without some clarification from Dr. Harrington about what happened in November and why the Charlottesville and Albamerle communities are not safe, I don’t know how to, or rather can’t, narrow down the situation to where, in November, another met with similiar circumstances as Morgan, meaning they disappeared.
IMO, no scenario and no individuals have been officially cleared. None.
Everything and everyone is still on the discussion table.

  23. katesro says:

Moon- post makes perfect sense. In addition to your statements regarding WT.

He worked security for the same company who was at the arena the night of Oct. 17. Who was he in good standings with working the door that particular night?

Does anyone know what his GF looks like?

Did he have any ties to Morgan before seeing her at the arena?

He has been on my radar since I read the first two statements from him. To see someone at a beer stand and then in your section is not too uncommon. However, I get the feeling that he was watching her.

    Fatal attraction?

Even though Localcvllegirl has been telling us for weeks now about the vast amt. of privately-owned property in this area, it didn’t really strike home w/ me until I saw the first of WT’s videos — didn’t have the stomach to watch the second one — my little house sits on one acre of land — there’s a house down below me for sale that sits on four acres of land — for a city girl, those 4 acres are vast — I mean, vast — and there’s a little pond or water retention area at the bottom of that property — then there’s a farm at the end of my land w/ a bunch of acres — you can’t see the entire property — if someone owns even 20 or 30 acres — and if the majority of that land is wooded, as is most of the free-standing acreage in Va. — and if a body is put in just a shallow area or just covered up w/ leaves — w/ animal predation — unless LE has a warrant to search that area — well, you’re right —

RNMom — I loved your quote, as well. Along w/ my love of Thomas Jefferson (and I have to admit I was a little jealous hearing others on this board loves him, too — in fact, I read out loud to my son that I was not alone — he did the typical teenager — simultaneous shakes head and rolls eyes — ha) but MLK was a remarkable remarkable man. In recent years there have been some who have tried to sully his name and his works w/ negative allegations — kind of like how we on this board get attacked — but last year, a friend who was w/ him the last year of his life wrote a remarkable book w/ a title like: what would Martin do ? I can’t remember the exact title — he had vowed not to ride on MLK’s coattails just to get fame or write a book, but he felt now was the time to speak out — he wrote of how Martin had told him he would not live out the year; that he would be killed — he was very apprehensive about appearing at the church the night before he was killed — in fact, he was not feeling well, and his team wanted to cancel that appearance, but then he insisted he go and delivered one of the more inspirational talks.

We, too, have to take guidance from MLK — when we are under attack — it’s not individual — Blink said it best, and I always think about her words — we are the sum of our parts here — you hurt one of us — you go after us all —

We’ve been highly criticized for calling out the “friends” who were just doing “what Morgan would want them to do” —

My problem w/ the “friends” didn’t start w/ the Halloween party — it started the second they drove out of that parking lot — in MORGAN’S car — without knowing where she was, whom she was with, and not being able to get in touch w/ her …. unless

The poster OYE is correct, that all concert-goers met up at a pre-arranged post-concert party spot, and that is where Morgan lost her life —

if that is true, then they know and they’d better be spilling their guts, lawyer gag order be damned !

These “friends” like to have it both ways — they like to fall back on the fact that they’re just “kids” but they they like to fall forward on the fact that they’re “college students” and college students party.

Dan, the driver’s, father is a cop — the other two were long-time friends of Morgan and knew her family — they can’t use the excuse of they didn’t want to get Morgan in trouble — Morgan was already in trouble — Dan could have easily called his dad and told him the situation and gotten advice — Dan’s father would have called local LE, and as a courtesy to another LE officer, they would have helped these kids — and may have even done it “unofficially” —

To me, the friends will never be off the hook —

I’m so proud and honored to be a part of this forum. When others shoot at us, we shoot right back with: too bad, our mission here is to do all we can to help find Morgan — if I were the perp in this case, I’d be afraid of us, too : )

rvrb: when I read this part, my heart dropped for you — Sklyer: I’ve been there too, but with pregnant wife (and one kid already present). so glad it had a happy ending —

In my job I worked for an agency that assisted our senior and disabled populations — I got the call every day from people who either lost their jobs — often right on the spot — here’s a box, clean out your desk — and escorted off the property by security — after working there 20 years —

GM, while happily taking the govt. bailout, dumped their retirees —

I could go on and on — I always gave people contact numbers and info on where to go and what to do —

I think my karma may be balancing out : ) — I appreciate all of your thoughts and kind words and suggestions —

the sun is shining and it’s supposed to be 60 degrees — I haven’t put the Christmas boxes back up in the attic because it’s just been too cold — I’m going to get that out of the way now — do some yard work and be proactive as possible.

I ask God to bless all of you and walk with you in your footsteps today —

And Suz, you absolutely never cease to amaze me — and I’ll probably be amazed even more once I get my SGM translater in the mail : )

Allison Harvard was on Next Top Model and one of only 8 pages that Morgan listed on her Facebook page. Allison was also connected to 4chan and is a self professed fan of nose bleeds. Couldn’t make that up if I tried!

Allison also creates some very odd artwork seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/allisonharvard/

I assumed that Morgan was a fan through Top Model but the 4chan thing sort of nagged at me when mentioned again. Also found Morgan’s pic on Facebook to be reminiscent of some of Allison Harvard’s poses. FWIW

@RNMom/1534, I was going to make the same point as soon as I got caught up on all the posts. Dr. Harrington’s post also made me wonder whether he now believes it’s a predator who does not live right there in C’ville, but someone who came into town Oct 17 and again in November. However, this does not clarify whether he believes it’s a predator who lives nearby or some distance away. Impossible to know unless he comes back to tell us. So many people live in neighboring counties but use Charlottesville as “town” (remember The Waltons? Charlottesville was “town” to them)

Am overwhelmed by everything that’s been posted since Friday and the evidence of so many sick minds out there, especially online. Nothing to add.

Hoping the efforts and genuine affection here help to “shore up” Dan and Gil Harrington through this extended nightmare. Gil has such a gift with words and caring for others; I hope she takes time to care for herself as well.

I was thinking about Blink’s statement:
Missing is camera, and cell battery. What does that tell me?
I have the power to erase this evening. Watch me.

Would he/she/they be familiar enough to reset / erase any footage of Morgan in/around the arena??? If the person responsible works in security, then this person would be familar with security cameras at JPJA.

Is it possible the BB players witnessed her getting arrested?
Did I read some where that JPJA has a holding area for DIP?
What happens if you get arrested on/around the arena?

    I share Heidi’s view expressed in #1474.

When I first found this board, I was impressed with the level of discussion on it, but over time, all too frequently individuals have been named on this site amd various aspects of their lives dissected here, including much non-relevant matters that have nothing to do with Morgan’s disappearance or the circumstances around that night. Some of these people mentioned do deserve a second look (e.g., if it is true that someone is in a picture with Morgan and then denies it, that deserves some follow up; if there is someone who attended the same concert and inserts himself to gain publicity or help, that too deserves follow up — the pyromaniac fireperson is an example of why). But that follow up will be made by law enforcement and no doubt has been made.

Particularly distressing has been the interest in a “dark-complected” person which, if I am not mistaken, came from someone’s “vision”.

All of us on this board want one thing: to bring Morgan back to her family and bring whoever is responsible to justice. Morgan’s life and that of her family is important, but so are the lives of the people that are being scrutinzed. They are innocent until proven guilty. It is not a first amendment right to destroy a private individual on an internet discussion board through innuendo. The net result of this type of discourse is exactly the opposite of what we want: it has a chilling effect on those closer to the situation. Who would admit to being a fact witness now? So that they can get slammed in this public forum (let’s admit it — they would be labeled as “creepy”; “lying”; “only partially truthful”; or, worst of all — setting off a “hinky meter”).

I think that the posts here are well-intentioned. I would like them to be more responsible. Morgan and her family deserve no less.

(But, I thought Blink confirmed that OYE was RT? BTW, any relation to the judge?)

    I have a hypothetical question…

If an adult who had no ill intent happened upon Morgan the night of the concert, offered her a ride, and she passed out/died from alcohol poisoning, then for what reason would they have for not taking her to the ER and/or not reporting it?

And, okay, you got me…horse Basta!?? I tried, but, I think you’re far ahead of me. All I could see that was adjacent was La Bella Terra, not far from JMU and Charlottesville. Perhaps, a nice, private place to rent for a party? The Bella Terra Stables were further north.

  34. Judi says:

I would be willing to venture out to say that I bet one of our many scenarios about what happened to Morgan is right on. Which? I don’t know. With that said, I have a question for Blink.

Blink – does any of our working thoughts and information we do find through our amateur “diiging” make it’s way to LE? And, if so, do they actually give credit to it and look into things we may find?

  35. Judi says:

I would think that unless Morgan is being held captive, if this was a stranger, then she would have been found by now. Some stranger who picked some girl up and raped and killed her would not hide the body to this extent, she would have been left where ever and the perp woud have done it as quikly as possible. But, it’s been three months, Morgan has not been found, which, in my opinion, means someone has taken great care to conceal her OR she is being held against her will.

To me, just my opinion, all seems to point to this being someone she knew and could be linked to via online or whatever, thus taking great care for her not to be found.

I am taking from LE’s silence, though, that it may all be bigger than we think and that is the ONLY thing I can come up with on why 3 months later, we still have such little info and some very basic stuff never confirmed by LE.

    Just my opinion, of course.

  36. Judi says:

Let me add to the above that I do continue to pray that Morgan is alive and will be found like right now so that she may be re-united with her amazing family. And, that whoever is repsonsible for this nightmare be put away so as not to hurt anyone else.

Nobody should have to suffer like this and when it is in the power of someone to end it, and they don’t and just let the suffering continue, that just makes what they’ve already done that much worse.

Someone may have mentioned this in relation to the way Dr. Harrington spelled Charlottesville, but could it be that it is what he left OUT of those words more than how it was spelled…both times he leaves out the “r”.

What a difficult journey this is. It is hard to explain what we feel. The typical words are inadequate – even wrong. Like using the word “abduction” to describe this event – it is soft language. Abduction means to move away from – that is a passive euphemism for what has occurred here. Morgan was not “moved away” from us – she was ripped away, severed from us! She was amputated from her life. The person who did this robbed her from us. I even think the posters could better reflect what has been inflicted on our family – Morgan is not missing – like my frequently misplaced reading glasses – SHE was stolen!!
Anger and frustration mount as the days add up. I remind myself that this is not in my hands and that the truth cannot be hidden forever – it will out. I pray that the truth of this crime shows itself while Morgan is still alive. I have no interest in recovering a body. I would rather not know and always have some morsel of hope.

Unfortunately, the case of little Aveion Lewis, the 2-year-old missing from Roanoke, is now a homicide investigation. The stepfather is in custody. The body has not been located yet. So sad.

That poor child had a rough life and, likely, a violent death. I wonder about the other three children (under the age of 4) in the home.

some of allison harvard’s (“creepy-chan”) myspace “photoshoots” were passed around /b/ – i think she was a member, but basically she looked like a zombie with huge eyes in most of them so people thought they were funny. she was also recently on a season of america’s next top model and did pretty well, so i’m guessing that’s how morgan knew of her.

  44. Elizabeth says:

I am wondering now about Dr. Harringtons visit to this site. He posts now and then on his PR run site Findmorgan.com. Did he offer something here that he could not put in his forum postings? Or as another poster stated did he post to get our conversation “off track”. Interesting to think about these things.

I find myself so very fearful each day that I will come on line and find Morgans body will have been found. I remember when the girl was found by the railroad tracks I just knew it was Morgan. I pray this will have a happier ending.

Hello all. I haven’t posted in a long time but have been reading a few times a week. I have to confess I am very disheartened and feeling like criminals get away with so much. The first thread about the Lovely Bones, which I have read, makes me even more depressed. It almost makes not knowing what happened to Morgan make sense. How does little Somer go missing in broad daylight on a walk home from school and no one saw anything? The husband who is obviously, my words only, getting away with his wife’s murder and so many more dead or missing women and girls. Not to mention sweet Gabriel.

I guess I watch too much CSI and expect that these cases should be solved in an hour and they are not. I am quite sure that this case is stone cold as I see Blink is allowing dream dialogue now. I am so sorry for the Harringtons and all the other families who may never have answers. I thought my nephew dying in a car accident at 17 was just such a tragedy, but we know he is safely in heaven and his body is cared for, to have him be gone and not know would just be unbearable. I pray for us all!

    Hello Fellow Blink Readers,

I am amazed at how this board operates! You all are so wise it stops me dead in my tracks when I read your posts. I have been reading since the beginning and everytime I think I have something to add someone always puts it in better words than I ever could.

From early on I believed Morgan left the concert intentionally. I believe they partied some place on campus b/c they had tickets to the show and wanted to predrink, but when it came time to go to the concert Morgan was really torn because she was having such a good time at the party. Once at the concert she probably grew tired of waiting for Metallica to come on (and not being able to drink at the concert) so she decided to leave.

I believe she told her friends she tried to get back in, but couldn’t, so they wouldn’t get mad at her for actually wanting to leave. This is why I don’t think she pressed too hard to get her keys back. I believe she started to walk back to the party thinking she could make it, but then realized quickly how cold it was and decided to try and find another student headed that way on campus. She probably approached some people in the parking lot for a ride (BB players, 44 year old “let’s go” guy, etc…) and then headed over to the bridge and continued to walk.

I do believe someone took her. And I believe this person is opportunistic. I 100% believe that the answer lies with someone she intended to meet up with or someone who saw the state she was in (in the parking lot) and took advantage of it. Whether or not this person intended it to go as far as it has is anyones guess. Morgan looks like a fighter to me. And she may have tried to fight off the wrong person.

JMO! You guys are the real detectives though!!

  48. DaisyGirl says:

Opps just to clarify: Morgan looks like a fighter in the strong independant woman sense. Not the picking a fight sense.
