Do you have to be a resident of Fl. to file a complaint? I would think so.
Leslee S – you do not have to be a resident of FL to file a complaint with the FL Bar. Anyone can file a complaint. The person just needs evidence to back up the complaint. The attorney in question must have broken a specific FL Bar rule to receive any kind of “punishment” from the FL Bar.

B, I don’t believe anyone here thinks for a minute you’re purposely with holding info. And if you were, you always have your reasons. I could never remember every thing you’ve gone on record with but it’s gold in my books.
IIRC, the rumour mill was that Casey was given Baez’s name by someone when she was initially arrested for child negligence (I’ve heard it was another inmate who made the suggestion.) I sloughed that off as being a fabricated detail.
Well, whomever it is, this person must have some kind of hold on Baez. A favour owed?

Casey first filled out papers stating that she needed a public defender so I guess Baez was not hired immediately. The story broke nationally & we can assume that Geraldo/Fox network got to work immediately b/c they saw a ‘big’ story….just a guess. I’ve forgotten…were Geraldo & Baez friends before this case?
I’ve always thought it was Geraldope, too, because KC was represented by Legal Aid (is that what it’s called? Brain-fade tonight) and I think she would have continued that course.
The other possibility is that car dealer guy…oh, help me friends…I’ll get back to you tomorrow!

I’m entertaining the Geraldo angle too, now that Chelsea mentions it. The bromance thing they had going on. The ABC deal. I mean all the media and money connections are there. BUT…what would be in it for Geraldo? I guess the 411 of what goes on behind closed doors?
I’ll admit, I’m clueless too about the casey/baez connection. casey did have a 31 day jump on the possibility that she might need legal help at some point. It didn’t sound like she was doing anything more than flitting about hoping to snag an eligible sucker to take care of her BUT she may have been nonchalantly taking note of any guys that have connections????

Baez was a nobody, the clients that he had had prolly would have been involved in DUI cases or something. I can’t see how there could be any connection to his previous murder case.

Bees, Baez isn’t linked to Casey,imo. If we go with the Geraldo angle, I’m thinking Geraldo called Baez, told him to step up in Casey’s defense. He may have painted a picture of how they both can advance in this now notorious case. Geraldo having working his connections may have slunk around some corners, scored a deal for images and they both cash in on the benefits. This is just a theory. I’m not betting on it. Money seems to be the root of all evil whomever this person is. Is is possible Geraldo may have done this without the consent of Fox…or could it get him into trouble if he’s outted as the ‘the protected person’.

I just read my comment. It makes no sense. NONE! Sorry friends. Hope everyone has a nice evening.
I am positive that everyone who keeps posting and saying negative things about Casey has at one time or another been wrongfully accused of something. It surely has happened to ALL OF US!!
Please do not forget that Casey is innocent till proven guilty, by an IMPARTIAL jury of her peers, (which will not happen because she is innocent and the State of Florida do not have any real evidence against Casey, but sure have a desire to satisfy the public’s appetite for blood) in a COURT OF LAW (NOT the kangaroo court of public opinion).
The biggest victim here is Casey’s child, HOWEVER, Casey is also a victim too! She was a great loving, attentive, and caring mom, whom never had ANY RECORD WHATSOEVER of child abuse/neglect against her daughter by the authorities. Casey’s baby was the victim of a kidnapping and was ultimately murdered when Cindy forced Casey to go the police about her daughter’s abduction. This act sealed the child’s fate and THAT IS THE ONLY REASON that Casey (as she stated from the beginning, but no one believed/believes her) did not go to the cops, when her daughter was taken from her…she was afraid of what would happen to that child and tragically, her greatest fear came to be true!
As soon as the police were alerted and “the story,” hit the local, state, national, and even international news outlets, the kidnappers murdered that poor little girl. THEN, they placed the baby’s body in the woods just down the street from her mother/grandmother’s house AFTER CASEY WAS INCARCERATED, to frame her for the child’s murder. There’s NO WAY Casey, NOR HER FAMILY, could have put the child there because everyone was watching the family 24/7. It’s not Casey’s fault she’s where she is at today…period…end of story.
Casey is absolutely a beautiful woman, with a beautiful face and gorgeous figure, AND CHARISMA & CHARM, to go with that. I truly believe the reason (mostly women) hate Casey so much is because they are jealous of her beauty…period…end of story.
Casey Marie Anthony is a beautiful woman with a beautiful face/figure, let’s face it!! We should all let a jury of Casey’s peers decide her guilt or innocence, but until then, NO PRE-JUDGEMENTS BY JEALOUS (WOMEN) BLOGGERS AND “EXPERTS,” ok??!!

This is not a dating site- we understand that you are infatuated with Ms. Anthony’s looks, but we can not set up a blind date for you.
We agree that she is a beautiful woman physically, perhaps you should write her a letter in jail, and let her know how much you value only her physical beauty. You may be the one she chooses to write back. Especially if you include your afterthoughts regarding her astute mothering skills, and your belief that her child was kidnapped and discarded by someone other than the beautiful, Ms. Casey Anthony herself.
As I said before, I am willing to let the evidence speak for itself regarding Ms. Anthony’s guilt or innocence-despite her beauty.

My understanding after reading through older Blogs, is that Baez and Geraldo were ‘friends’ prior to the Anthony case hitting the headlines. Casey didn’t need to have a connection with Geraldo, perhaps it was the other way round and that Geraldo prompted Baez ‘to get in there quick’. Just a thought.

I personally have seen beautiful,well educationed women with charisma and Casey is not one of them.. What parent doesn’t think their daughter is beautiful? Jake – Casey is legally considered “innocent until proven guilty” in a court of law, not in the arena of public opinion. You state that there is no evidence against Casey. Apparently you have overlooked the thousands of pages of forensics, depositions, witness statements (as well as those made by Ms. Anthony herself), and crime scene inventory. However, you proffer a theory that has no substantiating evidence, circumstantial or otherwise. You may be captivated by Ms. Anthony’s physical appearance, but as a very secure woman, I can assure you that my impressions of this case have nothing to do with jealousy. Look around you; the world is full of beautiful woman, inside and out, who have not murdered their baby.
