Kyron Horman Missing and Endangered Sources: Terri Horman Hired Landscape Lover
Portland, OR- Like a Roman Candle will light up the sky in most of our neighborhoods today, the Portland Community is aflame with this mornings breaking developments.
As reportedly leaked to The Oregonian, one of two media outlets booted from the recent press conference hosted by Kaine Horman, Desiree and Tony Young, sources say Terri Horman, step-mom to missing 7 year old Kyron Horman, attempted to hire her landscape lover to murder her husband, Kaine Horman.
Last Saturday, June 26, Multnomah County Detectives advised Kaine Horman that his wife had hired a landscaper without his knowledge, and the expert in landscape services admitted he was offered a large sum of money by Terri Horman to off Kaine, allegedly after discovering his affair with a colleague.
Remniscient of the blockbuster black comedy hit FARGO, MCSO detectives attempted to ensnare Terri Horman into a conversation about the murder for hire plot with the cooperating landscaper and an undercover officer, but Horman ended the conversation quickly.
While Terri Horman was undergoing her second polygraph on that Saturday afternoon, detectives informed Kaine Horman of the confirmed finding, and advised him to remove himself and the couples 18 month old daughter from the marital residence. Within 48 hours Horman filed for divorce and an emergency restraining order which was granted and subsequently sealed to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Sources speaking to blinkoncrime on the condition of anonymity, have confirmed that the landscaper, whose identity is being withheld as he is a material witness in the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Kyron Horman, met Terri Horman on the grounds of Skyline School.
Skyline Schools Garden and Habitat Project kicked off Last August, and it was not unusual to see white landscaper trucks in the parking lot, although it is not known if the landscaper witness is involved in the project.
The project, funded by a grant from West Multnomah Soil &Water Conservation District, is one of many funded in part by WMSWCD. Recently, on Sauvie Island, the focus of the intensive search efforts, the “Healthy Streams” initiative kicked off.
The objective on Sauvie Island agricultural land is to reduce invasive plant species and tillage directly adjacent to waterways, which may contribute to erosion and sedimentation. WMSWCD will pay to install and maintain non-invasive herbaceous buffers, or woody plants if consistent with canal maintenance needs. These should be easier for farmers to maintain, better protect livestock drinking water, irrigation and drainage canals, and offer pollinator habitat.
On Friday afternoon, following a Thursday plea from Kyron’s Mom, Desiree Young for Terri Horman to cooperate fully with investigators to bring Kyron home, Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton attempted to repair the riff caused by Kaine Horman’s abrupt “off the record” rules to the press which was not disclosed until arrival.
“..There have been 2,877 valid leads and about 60 percent of them have been covered. Each lead takes detectives in a new direction, making it difficult to pursue the remaining leads faster, he said.
“Everyone is a person of interest,” Staton said in response to questions about any specific individuals…”
Blinkoncrime.com attempted to reach Terri Horman attorney Stephen Houze for a comment on the latest rumors surrounding his client, but was told he is unreachable on the East coast. My media contacts are telling me that Houze is shopping imaging and licensing rights to fund his clients representation, should she be charged of any criminal offenses. Terri Horman has neither been charged in Kyron’s disappearance nor the alleged attempt to contract for her husbands death.

It cannot be a ko ink y dink that this information was leaked to the largest paper in the state, following the snuff by Kaine Horman. The landscaper lover was well known amongst us media folks, but not the plot part.
Where is started to go cattywampus for me was where we see the new John Deere tractor aquired by the Horman’s recently, would seem somewhat unnecessary if they had contracted a landscaper/lawn service.
Another oddity which could be completely unrelated, stays with me.
Intel colleague and Horman family friend Michael G. Roten, was arrested last August on suspicion of menacing charges in Clackamas County the day after an Intel bag with a Sony computer, prescription Gucci glasses was taken from a vehicle on Country Club Rd. It is not known if the 2 incidents are related. Roten posted on Terri Horman’s facebook offering any help they could, a few days after Kyron’s disappearance was made public.

Think the paparazzi and prominent people. If they took the photo they can sell it to the highest bidder and is how they make their living.
If these pics were taken by Terri, and on her camera, then they are hers to do with what she wants. You just never think a family member would put you in that situation, particularly your wife, step Mom, Mom, or sub teacher.

Kaine and Desiree should seek legal council on how to go about making an offer to provide whatever images, stories etc to the media for FREE or if fees are paid, that money should be directed to some kind of Child Advocate Group or Missing Children Funds.
Let the media decide if they are willing to pay for something that they could get for free – or if fees are to be paid – let the media decide if they want their money going to THs defense lawyer or to a group/charity that works to defend children.
Another possibly move for Kaine – he could have in the divorce settlement that any money she makes off this goes to him (kinda like the Michael Douglas ex-wife divorce thing – http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2010/jun/29/wrangle-over-michael-douglas-film – although this Hollywood debate is yet unresolved).
Perhaps Kaine would not want this “dirty money”, (but he could put it in a trust for Kiara). In any event, he likely does not want Terri to turn a profit and use that money to pay her legal fees. Whatever is legal, he should make some kind of counter move.

Good info Blink! I always wondered why Kaine looked down in the first press conference (guilt/shame) as well as Terri and why they both had such different body language as Desiree and Tony. Now I know why. Sheriff on local news tonight stating a lot will be happening this coming week. Sheriff said that FBI child abduction team has been working on this case since day 1 and is still working on this.
Just a small clarification – I can’t speak to what is going on with the licensing that the attorney is or isn’t doing but this is to the person who commented on CBS having the photos: Kaine & Desiree released those to the media in order to help with the search/keep Kyron in the news. The media was asking them for fresh pictures and video. They did it at the request of the press. It was made freely available to all of the media that was at that press meeting – they did not just choose CBS or anyone special. It was to help release more pictures so that the news outlets would have something to show and to help Kyron. I was in the room when they did it. (I just wanted to say this because there was no weird plot on that particular issue, that particular day and it certainly wasn’t done for money. Sometimes things are just as simple as they look)
Really? So maybe I’m a suburban bumpkin here, but all I can think of when I read this is what Lizzy posted above. I mean, when you’re raising small children, who has time and energy for affairs and secret liaisons and (forgive me) booty calls? If what LS lover says is true, I don’t know who’ll be arrested for Kyron’s disappearance, but it sounds like some key people might have dropped the ball here, whether or not they did anything illegal. While the adults were engaged in all the alleged drama, who was thinking about the kids?

Might I just add that the truth was none of our wild theories so far, and here I thought we had come up with just about everything!
Although, I do think that were some were right on track thinking that the information LE gave Kaine was what prompted the RO and divorce papers. And I believe some even speculated that TH called after Kaine moved out. I guess they were right. Somethings are beginning to make some sense but who would have thought of a murder for hire plot? Geez. I guess once you lose all moral code the leaps just become baby steps. Scary.
I also wanted to point out, the pictures, I guess what I said struck a cord with people; sorry for all the typo’s I was feeling very passionate in an “rage rising” sort of way. I just want to say that the tree frog picture, Kyron’s shoudlers are still a little stiff, but his face is beaming with pride. And to think…well, that gets me in a “lay down and bawl” sort of way. I have never been a public flogging kind of gal, always the diplomat, social worker, advocate, but I sinceley love this boy, he has become ours and I will happily watch whoever hurt him go down in flames. I have asked myself a 100 times if this has become a “hobby” for me, but I feel like if I stop thinking about him, well…I can’t do that. Blink, just one more comment before I sign off. I was listening to the public scanner the night of the 26th with another online forum buddy. Well her scanner is an actuall police scanner (or such) so she heard something similar but with more info. She wasn;t allowed to post it I guess bc of her husband’s line of work maybe? But I know I heard something involving a guy out front for the first 911 call, disturbance in the driveway or such. I just came across this comment & I’m wondering if you can validate it or use it. If Terri is crazy enough to attempt a murder for hire on her husband as a means of revenge for an affair, then it seems she is nuts enough to do something similar to Kyron with the same objective in mind. While none of us condone (I am sure) Kaine’s affair, it’s certainly a common event and not one that warrants murder. They will tie her to this disappearance and I think we will see that she was so enraged and jealous, that she actually took o\it out on the weakest victim she could find (aside from her daughter) to get revenge. This family’s drama is so sad in light of the children involved. Shame on all of them.

I had said before, Teri laid in bed at night thinking how to do away with Kyron and she came up with a well thought out plan. But now I wonder, to do this only 6 months after she tried to have her husband killed isn’t well thought out. I still see Teri as the only perpetrator and I don’t see a good outcome for kyron. Maybe with her pillow talks with “Gardner Boy” she discussed a disposal site for hubby and maybe that is the site she used for Kyron.
How long after Kyron went missing did the gardner go to LE? Was it as late as June 26th? I can’t see her being able to hire someone to kill a 7 year old, I think most hitmen won’t even stoop that low. I think her hatred for Kyron spurned her on to do it herself. What pic are you referring to where you see Gucci looking glasses on Kaine’s head? He doesn’t strike me as the Gucci sunglasses type….they would be upwards to 400 or 500 a pair. I’m confused to you have a link? Also, it seems that friend referenced may have moved on to Canada. Not that means much concerning a 2009 arrest, but just an fyi.
That Horman family photo number 12 of 5o of a man on his knees in drag with a woman chaining him, sore looks like KH to me with the make up. The make up does make it harder to identify the person, but I was shocked at seeing the picture, just wow!

This may be way off base but…
Kaine’s brother (right?) is a suspected (convicted?) child molester. Terri sends her older son away and sets Kaine up to be murdered. Kaine finds out about affair and sets Terri up by snatching Kyron from his school. Psychopaths don’t care about their own children, they are merely props. He knows at this point the police still don’t suspect him and he is using every bit of info he can get to his advantage. He gets an RO, files for divorce, snatches the baby. This is also why he ousted the Oregonian from his press conference, he knew they knew his wife had cuckolded him and he did not want to face those questions quite yet. And, although I admit I haven’t finished reading all the posts, I see rumors about Kaine having possible gay affairs. So I am seeing a picture of a man who by other verified accounts is controlling and abusive, is perhaps is sexualy identity crisis, who’s wife is cheating on him and wants him dead. Why would Terry want him dead? Just for the money? If it were for the money she would have found another way, not killed his child. If she killed the child I think we would have seen way more indicators in her, more like the ones we are seeing with Kaine.

I love the picture you chose for this story….but it really breaks my heart. It epitomizes Kyron’s innocence and shows what a sweet and beautiful little boy he is. He should be winding down from a night a of bar-b-q, soda, swimming and fireworks, but he is LOST and may never enjoy such simple pleasures again. I am glad I found this sight, it helps reaffirm my faith in humanity.

Try to read the posts and not question the poster as if you go back and read, you will probably understand why Blink posts the way that she does. She is the owner of this site and the readers do have a choice. I am trying to not pay attention to your questioning of this “lover” story and it really isn’t going to tell us where Kyron is so not that important at the moment. Lets just read what Blink writes and see what falls in place this week and if you will go back and read on the Caylee Anthony case, you will see that Blink is a professional and not out to ruin anyone’s life or start rumors…
Blink is for the children period and works a lot of long and hard hours with these idiots that do awful things to their children.
I just hate to see people come to her home (blog) and then question HER articles.

Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has no comments regarding the July 4, 2010 Oregonian story – 07/04/10
There will be no comment from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office regarding the information reported in the July 4, 2010 Oregonian. The information released in the Oregonian article did NOT come from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office. This is an ongoing investigation.
There is no press conference scheduled for today or tomorrow.
If there are tips or information related to the Kyron Horman missing person case please call the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 503 261-2847. If a person/persons believe they have had an actual sighting of Kyron Hormon call 911.
It seems like to me, if LE were so concerned about the toddler, they’d have removed her themselves & not “advised” any parent – who’d already seen a divorce attorney, who needed at least a day or two to draw up legal papers – to take off with the child then 2 days later file for divorce & a TRO. That’s what Child Protective Services is for, & they work w/LE, not random fathers. Just like it comes out now that Kaine advised LE just minutes prior to the presser that he was gonna censor some news sources, blocking them from participation. Seems like that’s what he did w/his divorce & child-stealing situation – LE found out, from Terri that Saturday during her 1st 911 call, “after the fact”. Again, JMHO.
