Portland, OR– The developments in missing Portland child Kyron Horman are enough to give a person whiplash this week; It is only Wednesday.
I absolutely believe that Terri Horman is responsible for Kyron’s disappearance-
Tony Young, stepfather to Kyron Horman.
During their interview this morning on the Today Show, Desiree and Tony Young did not mince words.
The sexual overtones to Mr.Cook, resemble the former exhanges between the individual Terri attempted to hire to murder her husband.– verbiage contempt motion
Are investigators any closer to finding Kyron Horman?
Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that both the FBI and Multnomah County Sherriff’s Office have been back on the scene in areas near the Skyline School, where Kyron wet missing on June 4th., and on Sauvie Island, the focus of intense search efforts including several dive teams today.
Of particular interest, is source confirmation that the landscaper Terri Horman hired last fall, who worked on the Horman property, had met Kyron at the residence as well as the Skyline School, where his firm had been contracted to do some work.
Rudy Sanchez, of RS Landscape Maintenance since 2008 has told MCSO that Terri Horman attempted to hire him in a murder for hire plot against her husband Kaine. Sanchez then agreed to participate in a surreptitious sting that included a body wire and a 911 call where patrolman had to be told by detectives this was an “on the job” non-threat. As fairly isolated areas go, this one has had a fair share of 911 calls.
No charges were filed by Ms. Horman against Mr. Sanchez.
A search for Multnomah County arrests under the last name Sanchez, show a United States Marshall arrest and hold of a Anselmo Sanchez since July 8th. It is unknown if this individual is held in the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
Blinkoncrime.com was unable to confirm through the Multnomah County Jail the nature of the “hold” for Sanchez, and all persons are presumed innocent.

He would not have taken Kryon from the school ‘quietly’ with no one noticing, even if Kyron knew him well enough, too chancy that the boy would fuss or even if not, he’d be seen. I think Terri told him to go stand by the south entrance and she would have a surprise for him. He opens the door and is grabbed..and willingly goes because this guy he has seen, knows he has been told to leave with him, he promises something Kyron wants, maybe a trip to the island to get some special fishing gear to take when he goes to Desiree?
Why do I think this was a big FU to both Desiree and Kaine…as well as a chance to play the wounded step mommy, and get rid of a child she had no use for any longer ?
Was she getting ready to bail on the marriage and only wanted to take the baby with her..no Kyron or James in the picture?
This woman is a piece of work..and rather then show up in court she agrees to move..so far she has done everything she can to avoid court.

I’m surprised Mr. Sanchez, an Oregon resident would license his vehicle in WA. Usually it’s the other way around here. Many Vancouver WA residents try to get away with registering their vehicles in Oregon to avoid paying sales tax.
when things calm down may I suggest you all read the bood Double Jepordy. It is about a case in my hometown where a man literally got away with murder and the only jail time he did was because he perjured himself before the trial. This explains why TH hasn’t sworn to anything at all in a court of law about anything and how even though everybody knew this guy was guilty, he literally and seriously got away with murder. I must add that I still am on the fence with this due to lack of information, I also have to add that I don’t expect or want to know everything LE knows at this point. I’ve seen first hand how that ends up because of this. The perps name is Mel Ignato…google it.

Does this mean that the Anslemo Sanchez that is being held for illegal entry on a marshall hold is dear ls/rudy? or is that still not being confirmed? or is this just a fact you know about rudy sanchez and has nothing to do with the person in the photo?
@ Jackie: As far as why the tapes at the stores are important…I think one of two things, that there must obviously be a money trail at those stores on that day. In general, I would imagine that they are looking to see what she bought, who she was with, or if possibly another person was using her cards. Not sure if that’s what you meant. But I would just assume that they need any evidence they can get their hands on. Or, the other possibility is that she may have said she was at those stores and tapes will show that she wasn’t, so they need proof that she wasn’t where she said she was. Remembering back to them saying her story doesn’t match up for her events that day. Also, to me, those stores don’t make a lot of sense. The Fred Meyers perhaps but not the Albertsons. So, I tend to think she tried to put herself away from S. Island by stating that she was at these stores, when in fact she wasn’t. But who knows? I don’t, that’s just what I thought, intially. By going to these stores that would eat up a lot of time to give her some sort of “alibi.” I haven’t heard that they have confirmed her being at either place. But that’s what leads me to believe that’s what they’re looking for, whether she was there or not. Please correct me if they have stated that she was there and that was confirmed.

Actually, knowing TH’s screen names and studying her posts might be a big help to LE in their investigation. Usually, if someone is concealing their involvement in a crime, they eventually incriminate themselves by talking too much; they get comfortable talking to someone and the words begin to spill out. Apparently, TH is very comfortable chatting and commenting online; it is perhaps the place she is most apt to confess all if she is indeed involved in Kyron’s disappearance.
Also, since TH has long frequented and commented on websites, including crime sites, her postings prior to Kyron’s disappearance may offer LE some clues, i.e., as to her frame of mind and any indication that she may have been planning something.

Welcome, Coleen! I understand your concerns surrounding the Kyron Horman case. Although not all of us are Portlanders or even Oregonians, many here are, and we are brought together here by the common thread of taking little Kyron into our hearts. It is the desire of each of us that all of the pieces to the puzzle of Kyron’s disappearance will eventually fall into place, while holding onto the hope that he will be found alive. I’m hoping that will happen very soon!
@ DG From what I know an “area check” is just that; a search/check of an area, block, neighborhood, roads. If someone calls in on suspicious activity near/in their yard, that would qualify. Suspicious activity can include people/people in cars hanging around. just basically a call in for dispatchers to LE such as i.e. “reported suspicious young white male driving a red ford focus parked at end of driveway at….” for local LE to go and check it out – do an area check to see if they are still in the area, and if so, stop them and ask questions to see if they have a purpose of what/why. If nothing is found,or if its just the new neighbor trying to find his neighborhood (true story lol) then the term “Area Check” is used in a public report (one statement line for each LE activity, I used to have to type those up for the local paper!)
But if there was an unidentified person such as a peeping tom, or someone who trespassed in the yard, or a person who had an RO against but ran away when spotted, then that info would accompany the “area check” lingo in the report, i.e. “Trespassing. Area check. No sign found, follow-up with Landowner etc.” That way theres a little bit more info to the community to be aware of.

The Sorenos gangs are not established in the Portland area. There would not be a bust on a gang that isn’t here………….they are in Medford, Eugene…..and from what I have read, outside of California, they are not generally associated with the Mexican Mafia

@ Jackie Bauer, — Spent today around 3 hours reviewing prev. viewed reports and came across a few that were removed (i.e. no longer available, wth?!) – i will spend more time till i can find that particular video – basically it was a follow up on Kyron situation, nothing in particular, and at the end reporter being near by the Wall of Hope chats with a few people – one fellow not only creeped me out right away, he got more of my attention after he said that he visits there multiple times (he was not identified and i intially wanted to post here and ask people but got so busy with stuff at home). Will look for it more, sorry for not posting link with my intial comment – i thought at least someone else had noticed that..
Something about Kyron made me follow this story from the first time I saw his picture. He is sweet, innocent.
My question is if the employees of the school have all under gone polygraphs. The reason I ask is if Kyron was abducted, then kept at the school since he wasn’t reported missing for seven hours. Since his stepmother worked there and knew the staff, she could have had an accomplice other than the landscaper.

If you visited either the blog site or read what hopeinva posted on the BabyCenter.com site, you might see how hopeinva on the BabyCenter.com site would not appear to be TH. I think a baby is what was hoped for in Virginia. And I guess it is possible that this person could indeed be Terri’s friend. And just maybe the person in Virgina could also be the poster antagonizing people on all the blogs! As we know, anything is possible! Thanks!

RETRACTION on my comments regarding Surenos gangs in the Portland area. I stand corrected. My apologies. They don’t necessarily go by “Sureno”, they have different gang names, but they are affiliated with the Surenos. My apologies for the misinformation.

@NancyS: well, I was trying to be oblique in my inquiry. Obviously I don’t do that well. So you aren’t going to like the answer, but I was thinking of specific things like bullets, knives, tarps, fishing weights, ice coolers, saws, caustic chemicals (from the hardward dept) etc. If I were going to do something sinister, I’d want to be very thorough in my efforts to conceal. With all of the waterways around SI, and the flow of the rivers there would probably be a number of ways to do just that. And while all of those things require heartlessness and soullessness and a violent, brutal nature, anyone who could hurt Kyron intentionally, well…
and I hope and pray that is not the case, but I have a sinking feeling for a few reasons:
1. Blink’s belief that Kyron is living only in our hearts and minds and
2. the involvement of Rudy & co. Not heartwarming guys, and involved with SM, there’s just no telling, and
3. former Multnomah County prosecutor Jim McIntyre statement re: the lack of apparent pattern & no other LE comments re: the stores videos, and the reason he gave for that: “You have to be able to identify specifically what crime you’re going to charge.” seems to me to mean that LE is looking for something *other* than just THs physical presence in said store to verify alibi. Alibi doesn’t make sense at this point; that would have been done long ago, mho. As I said earlier, LE might also be looking for specific items. So, for example, several people might’ve bought a shovel with cash, but if TH is on video in the store carrying a shovel to the register and paying in cash, and there’s a receipt for it, then you’ve got your shovel and TH has dug herself a hole. If TH and Rudy are shopping the hunting dept together on video, again, that’s going to give LE some clues as to which crime they’re going to charge.
Also, I will say again that I wondered why anyone would wait till the day of the dastardly deed to go buy stuff, but the sad answer is that it might be stuff that couldn’t be left lying around in case someone would come across it, and then it was just discarded “after” so nothing was missing and none of the similar items owned by TH or the LSL would have any forensic evidence. Grim, grim, grim thoughts.

One thought that keeps coming to mind is as to motive. There seems to be a general consensus that any kidnapping — or G-d forbid, murder — of Kyron was motivated by Terri’s hatred for Kaine or a desire to gain his sympathy and derail a likely divorce filing.
What if the motive had nothing to do with sex or divorce? The timing of the alleged attempt by Terri to hire the landscaper to conduct a murder-for-hire coincides with Terri’s son moving out of her home with Kaine, and to Roseburg to live with her parents.
If Terri’s son moving out was prompted in any way by Kaine and/or Kyron, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to connect the dots.
It is not unusual for non-family members to be involved in “family” abductions, and more than 30% of the 200,000 “family” abductions that take place across the US each year involve multiple perpetrators.
I speak from experience, as the father of four children who disappeared 14 years ago in a kidnapping that involved my ex-wife, members of her family and Mormon officials in three states.
Most child abduction cases that involve family members are not investigated by local law enforcement and are ignored by the media. The public never hears about them.
I’m not going to speculate on a case involving a missing child. My heart goes out to Kyron’s family and to the families of all who are missing children, like my own.
The Oregon State Police has 41 open cases of missing children on its website right now, and the only people who are concerned about those other 40 missing kids are their families.
That’s the way it is.

Terri is an adult, and doesn’t seem to be much of one at that. I think the much more critical question is: TERRI!! What did you get poor Kyron into?
US Marshall inmates can be witnesses as well. They can be witnesses to federal crimes i.e. kinapping, certain drug crimes, certain gang murders. Has to be a federal crime.
Gypsy DD has it. Only where did they go? Why hasn’t the LE checked the bings on Sanchez’s phone? also No way she just took up with the Mike guy. No way all of this just happened. Why can’t the LE and the FBI find this boy. I don’t get it. I also think Kaine ought to get hypnotized to see if there is anything he remembers that he doesn’t think he remembers.
I am so hoping that if Rudy and associates had something to do with this, that Kyron is no longer with us. It has been discussed that this was most likely (or could have been) a sexually motivated crime. It would be hell on earth for this little guy if he is still alive and being used by evil beings. It seems killers usually keep the victim, and the victimizing to themselves. Given associates could be involved, it seems something more sinister than murder could be going on.

These two events didn’t really coincide…The MFH plot was initiated in late (Nov.?) 2009, while JT didn’t move out of the Horman home until Jan. 2010. There is the possibility, thouth, that TH renewed interest in a MFH plot and approached someone else after JT’s move. JT’s departure could be either a direct factor in TH’s further pursuing the MFH plot (incident could have heightened TH’s resentment toward KH), or a result of that plot (TH removing JT out of harm’s way).
I have to agree with others on this site that whatever Kyron was caught in the middle of, it went beyond an affair. TH was involved in something much more incriminating, that led to something she never anticipated.
Yes I do think that Terri is in way over her head! I have been trying to figure out the motive for all of this and think that perhaps because Terri knew of the lack of security at the school and that a crowded science fair would ensure confusion, she decided to have Kyron gone on that day. I believe she thought the police probe would be on the school and their failings. I believe she desperately wanted to be a teacher there and thought being the hero step mom who “lost” her son would help in getting a job, ie the school owed that to her. I believe Kaine threatened divorce before this event and threatened to take Kiara with him. In Terri’s warped thinking, this was also quid pro quo. I believe Terri thought she had this one figured out but it all backfired on her. She messed with the wrong people. Am I close do you think?
