Holly Bobo Missing And Endangered: Are Suspects Naming Themselves- Odd Dodd?

On the eve of the 4 week anniversary of missing Darden, TN nursing student, Holly Bobo, new investigative details are being learned about the case. Two unofficial persons of interest have taken their case “public” in a way.
While blinkoncrime.com was aware of this information, a decision was made to withhold it in the interests of the cases “active” status previously.
That was, until today, when one of the known person’s of interests in Holly’s disappearance, outed himself publicly.
Jonathan Dodd, son of Bradley Grafton Dodd, and Dena Logan Dodd, chose the Parsons topix forum to “defend” himself against what he termed “death threats”.
Blink, Editor In Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com, was able to confirm the poster on the topix forum was indeed, Jon Dodd.
Speaking exclusively to www.blinkoncrime on the condition of anonymity, an extended family member of the Dodd family, sheds more light on Master Dodd’s claims.
“.. Yes, that is definitely him. I have no idea how he can say he does not know the Bobo family, he went to Scotts Hill with Holly for a short time. Karen Bobo, Holly’s Mom, worked for Grafton Dodd, his grandfather, when he was the principle of the Parson’s junior High when it was still there, Brad and Grafton are on the school board, there is no way that is true what is said.

When he is saying something was stolen from the property, he is talking about the ATV you wrote about before, when I saw that, I knew you were aware of him. Sandy called the sheriffs department before she knew that Holly was missing to report that their ATV was stolen. Sandy is also the cheer leading coach at Riverside High, since forever, and she got into some minor trouble a few years back because she got caught rigging the tryouts. Nothing major, but everyone knew about it. Dena, his Mom, was a teacher at Riverside shortly after he got transferred, which is weird again.
Everyone in this family has been covering for Jon since he was a kid. I could not believe when he stabbed Brad with a scissors when he was about 8 1/2, there was a big cover up. Last year Dena moved to Gwinnett County because the grands let him get away with anything. He has a baby with Shelby Sellers and nobody really even knew about that until after.
Jon went to the great-grandparents for a while in Arab, Ala in 2006 after the girl was killed in the car accident that got his ass beat up when he said she deserved it, and again, nobody said a word. Brad and Dena started up that Boy Scouts thing for him and (redacted by blink).
What is he talking about? What does donate DNA mean? O that is totally him, I can tell by the “I get paid to hunt” or whatever. Speaking of hunting, the abandoned cabin that volunteers found, when Grafton was told, was when he refused permission for any other searches and they got a warrant. Grafton and Sandy were seen removing a mattress from that part of the property, the one they found in the place where the outhouses were used recently. (redacted) saw him in WalMart, he looked at her and said he did not do it, I swear. Really scary.
He (Jon) did not donate DNA, it was taken from him in the parking lot of Tuckers Diner, he did not have a choice. The LE came there and showed some papers. Grafton’s was taken too, but I don’t know were, I heard it was at the area of the Pugh property, by that Shayne Austin’s parents house.

A former boyfriend of Holly Bobo’s, Blake Barnett, is also doing nothing to avoid being scrutinized. It is clear from his facebook postings that he is aware of his “celebrity”, and that folks following this case, are reading.
While it does not make him a bad guy, we have confirmed that he has had a background of alleged violence, in a former relationship with Holly Bobo.
He was the first name utttered by Holly Bobo’s parents, Dana and Karen, when they learned of her abduction.
That said, there is no known evidence linking Mr. Barnett to Holly’s disappearance.
Barnett is no stranger to violence, unfortunately, Blake, his brother and sister lost their parents Timothy and Janice in a brutal murder in 1993.
John Robinson, with actus reus assistance from his wife Kimberly, murdered both of the Barnett’s because they were after him for bounced checks.
Amelia, Blake’s little sister, was left in her crib for 48 hours before police found her while looking for the Barnett’s. She survived.
There have been no official suspects or persons of interest named in the disappearance of Holly Bobo in 4 weeks.
There has not been a LE update to her case since May 2.

i actually posted while back that maybe the perps took holly to get their dad to give up is business. I asked if that stuff happens this day and age. Its very possible this is/was a ransom case that went bad and holly got killed over it. I do think there is more to the abduction then is being let on. Your talking about that search and info page supposodly the guy is a pedofile. I look at thats guys page he has a pictures on there. He has one of a dog that is all pink so i don’t kn ow whats going on with that page

Also you got to think posted guards outside the house to guard it means they have some idea who the perp is and how violent this person is. You wouldn’t do that if u thought the perp left the state or wasn’t local just my thought
I am reading on other sites as well and people are now speculating that this could be a case of human sex trafficking…I think this is a far stretch…do u think this is what happened to Holly?

Another possiblity of the le not releasing any info in this case could be the combination of different people involved. They got to link all the evidence to all the suspects and the suspects who helped cover it up. Not to mention maybe this crime has ties to other crimes nobody knows if they found 3-4 different sets up dna. This case is probley pretty complex it might take a month or two to sort it out.. You probley could say holly isn’t in this world no more, i hope they found her but the stats are not good in cases like this

Do you think the neighbor has more than just “I heard screams and it came from over there”. I would tend to run toward a scream in that scenario thinking someone may be hurt. Is the neighbor being protected? Do you know if neighbor is male or female?
Are the Bobo’s pretty much holed up in their house? Do they go to work? I thought I read somewhere that they were seen running errands or something. Does Clint go to work or do they just stay home and wait. This must be excruciating for them!
Blink – when all is said and done, and Holly is found, and this case is resolved to the best outcome we could hope for at this point, will you help us understand how it all played out? I know there will be some things that cannot ever be disclosed, but you could school us on why things happened the way they did in this investigation. It would be a wonderful learning opportunity for me personally, and I’m thinking there may be others like me who are interested in the whys and wherefores of the strategies and tools LE applied to this case. Thanks in advance for considering this request.

I believe the information Blink has offered, thus far, to be the the true situation. She was abducted and mostly likely by someone she knew. Her brother, Clink, witnessed the exchanged but genuinely thought it was her boyfriend. I believe that 110%. Always have since Blink broke the story on her site. Blink talked about the motive possibly being about ‘rejection’.
Holly is a beautiful young lady. These other boys are flat out swamp material. IF Holly dated these boys and ended the relationship, it’s because she knew how she deserved to be treated. It appears these young creeps are borderline misogynists. Then again, it doesn’t help if women allow themselves to be mistreated, as GeorgiaDad posted. I think Holly is an exception and that is why she was probably singled out. The term ‘out of their league’ comes to mind.
My opinion is simply based on what Blink has brought into light and her responses to poster’s questions. I also need to state….I am no expert here….lol. My posts are genuinely not intelligent but they come from my heart. I HATE that this has happened to Holly and her family. I HATE small town politics and bullies. I HATE narcassistic, self indulged, intelligently stunted people…and they know who they are.

Personally, I don’t think this is someone she trusted, especially since there was the presence of blood. Based on Blink’s info, she probably knew her abductor. I also think she knew it was no joke. How could she not be scared. I definitely agree with you that she learned (maybe why the scream????) that there was more than 1 participant. Did she scream, hoping someone would hear her. Did she scream to draw attention to where she was? I don’t know, but I do believe that she didn’t live much longer after her abduction. I don’t know if death was the intent. Blink mentioned a mentor. If something happened the abductors did not plan for, then maybe the mentor came in ‘after’ the unexpected.

I believe clint bobo’s orignal story was correct from the begainning. I do belive the le changed it its better to let a criminal think someone saw them so they don’t harm’holly. I don’t agree with the rejection scenrio has motive. If its an ex he had plenty of time from when they broke up to pull something like this off. I am begainning to think maybe a g/f of a perp cheated on him with holly’s new b/f. If this perp is has crazy has people say he is and has done the things he has done. I am sure this would put him in a crazy crazy state of mind. I do belive however the perp aslo had help in some way too much involved to be just one person.
I am thinking its got to be preety hard to get a atv up in a truck by yourself and controll a girl. Thats if an atv was used. So if one was used its possible she was already dead in the carport. Then the perp has to take the body to dispose of it. I am wondering if the time line is a little off. You could drag a lifeless body that would fit clints descripiton in is orginal story. Then have someone help you in the woods or down road whereve u parked. Its possible the perp hit her then choked her explains only a small amount of blood. I keep thinking of Joran van der Sloot. His father was a judge who likely helped him cover up his crime against Ms. Holloway (and probably other crimes.) My theory in Holly’s case is that the offender is young, perhaps still a minor, and has family ties in the legal system who are obstructing justice at this time. This would explain the secrecy and the delay in making an arrest without scrupulous attention to procedures. What are your thoughts?
Holly, Morgan, Kyron….all seem to be at a maddenning standstill. This, along with constant rain, and having to put our old, dear basset hound, Oscar down this week has me in a true funk. Praying with much faith that God with guide LE on these cases, so victims’ families can have closer.

It seem to me that a body yields any clues and leaving it out in the open would make dna evidence easier to analyze. I keep thinking about the Brianna Dennison case (not that I think these two cases have that many similarities) but I do believe there are a few key pieces that match. I think she was very incapacitated in the carport. There are so many bodies of water near her home that could possibility be hiding the answers.

I don’t think they took her life at the carport, because
1.) how would the neighbor have heard her scream?
2.) LE stated the amount of blood on site was not lethal and
3.) In my mind, you can’t hold up a lifeless body and “lead” it into the woods – in other words, I think Clint would have immediately been alarmed when he loooked out the window and saw a man supporting his sisters limp and lifeless body.

I read your comment above and you questioned whether or not the perps intent was to kill. I personally think it was their intent to kill. My reasoning is that we pretty much all agree it was someone local that Holly knew. Therefore, I think that from the beginning, they knew Holly would recognize them. It’s probably possible somehow, but it would have to be extremely difficult to mask yourself well enough to fool the victim. This is only a guess.
On a side note, I haven’t heard anything about the perps wearing masks. If they were, I think Clint would immediately have been alarmed. What do you all think? I think the presence or lack there of, of any sort of head covering, would speak volumes to their intent.
Oops–I meant to say “with scrupulous attention to procedures.” I am also thinking of the boys in West Memphis who were convicted of harming three little boys. They were accused in large part because of their bad reputations. Now they are requesting new trials. Perhaps the “bad boys” in Holly’s case were DNA tested to let everyone know that they were not involved, bad reputations notwithstanding. I am wondering if the main offender in this case is a young person from a respectable family who attempted something that got out of control. Maybe he asked for help from others once things went bad and does not even know himself where Holly is because his older helpers took care of everything. Perhaps le is waiting for the family of the offender to come forward out of respect for the parents or maybe they are waiting until school is out to make the arrest.

from the comments on this video – Showered with scent free / scent killer soap, washed clothes in the scent killer detergent, clothes placed into an airtight plastic bag, put on at the start of the trail to avoid any contamination from the pickup truck ride, wore rubber boots. All clothing, boots, etc was sprayed down with the scent spray. The only thing he didn’t do was worry about breaking twigs, as the dog trailed him one full hour later. The dog doesn’t look for or listen for snapped twigs.

You bring up a good point. If she could easily identify her abductors, then killing her may have been part of the plan. We may never know but I do believe LE knows who’s involved. The scream could of came from the house might of been why the brother was looking out the window. He hears the scream runs to the window see his sister being dragged i nto the woods he don’t k now if she is alive or dead. I am just trying to put the story togather to see if any scenrio fits. He calls mother then calls 911 mom comes rushing home freaks out because cops arent there yet so she calls. I keep trying to come up with theories of what happed because this story don’t add up to me

I know what what was said about the blood but assuming she was choked there would’t be hardley any blood if not any. Thats what i am thinking if they had masked on wouldn’t you be alarmed so thats why i think the timeline of events is messed up. So maybe the brother saw the aftermath of the crime. I would put some focus on who might of started the rumor that she was found… it paused and diverted the search for some time. The fact that even cops believed it to be true at the time says a lot. Who could pass on unverified information that would influence police and the search?
It is clear to me the person who wrote this story does not even have some of the facts straight. For instant his grandmothers name is not Sandy! So to me I sure do hope they have the documents to back this article up. If you are going to write something then at least have your facts straight.
And what exactly do you expect the Barnett boy to do? Go private like Dodd. I don’t think he has anything to hide and he wants everyone to see it. And Janice and Timmy’s murder has nothing to do with this! He was just a child. He didn’t witness it so keep it real. He was not raised in violence. Interesting to read a report that indicated there was a “Coon Hunt” festival held several days prior to her disappearance that she had attended. The Festival appeared to bring in a flood of hunters to the area that would normally not be there. With the supposed lack of new evidence and leads, it would not be a surprise to me to eventually learn that this individual was not a local resident of the area, but was familiar with its surroundings by some transient means.
There sure are a lot of people from that area who claim to know the *real* story that feel the need to depreciate BOC and let Blink know how wrong she is.
Or more likely, it’s just the same couple of people with the same IP address-wearing different hats and posting the same BS over and over again.

There was more being done in the beginning. I think that it is extremely important to find her. The TBI hasn’t said much of anything, the media doesn’t tell anything, the people that know something won’t tell anything. Whatever truth there is, it’s being cover over by lies and rumors. What happened to the truth, it seems to be all mixed in with the dung.

Being a girl makes her a target there are a lot of crazys out there. Its possible it was rejection but why wait so long why put so many people involved wouldn’t u just do it by yourself. This is why i am having a problem with the ex. It would be easier for someone close to come up and abduct her because they would have a lot more outlets to get away. They could go to a neighbors house anywhere on their property anywhere in the wooods that they know. I think it was set off for something she did or her new boyfriend did. I have read blinks assements all of them pretty much and everyone elses on here pretty much. I see pretty much two perps being signled out one is a nut job just from things i see this person post the other perp is/was obsessed with holly with a possible r/o. I find it hard to believe that they would go in togather on this crime. I don’t think the one that was obsessed with her would want to share. If an atv was used how hard is it to get a atv in a truck and control a girl at the same time. I think the ex would have done this alone with no help. The other guy would of used help from someone just has crazy has he is just to prove is manhood i guess you could say.
