Lisa Irwin Missing: Cell Phone Call Made From Mom’s Phone At 2:30 AM, Taco Quotes Donald Trump, Kids Under Subpoena

Kansas City, MO- In what appears to be the latest revelation of contradictory information coming from the parents of Lisa Irwin, directly- there WAS a call made from Bradley’s cell phone at 2:30 am the morning of Lisa’s disappearance October 4, 2011.

Megan Wright,  apparently ready for the breakfast Halloween mixer or the Strawberry Shortcake weekend reunion, was caught outside her home by surprise yesterday.

Ms. Wright was interviewed by Kansas City Police detectives at least four times,  and states that she does not know Deborah or the Irwin family and was only “through the neighborhood” with her ex-boyfriend.  It would seem that the former suiter in question has Ms. Juggalette changing her Facebook status from “it’s complicated” to single.

Ms. Wright does not know who called her phone and had a 50 second conversation with whomever called from Deborah Bradley’s phone,  but she certainly did not say it was stolen,  and to my knowledge detectives do not need to interview folks four times if they have no information.

The cell phone call occurs almost to the minute of the dumpster fire a few blocks from the Irwin residence on NE 37th St.

Sources inside the investigation have confirmed to www.blinkoncrime.com that Wright has an association with an extended member of the family, but to their knowledge has never met Deborah, Jeremy, or the couples children.

Ms. Wright’s clown family can be found here.

“YOUR FIRED”

In the words of our affectionately dubbed, double-thatch comb over king,  Donald Trump, Joe Tacopina, attorney for Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin gave Cynthia Short her walking papers.

Citing exhaustion, Ms. Short, before coming up short last night, cancelled a media tour and press conference at the Irwin home at 3620 N. Lister Ave yesterday morning.

Taco then cancelled the interviews of the two young boys scheduled to meet with a pediatric specialist to answer questions about the night Lisa went missing.  Although Bradley and Irwin’s original story was that one of the children was in bed with her,  it has changed to include both boys sleeping in the couple’s bed.

To further complicate matters, Tacopina in a conversation with Judge Jeanine Pirro announced that he had retained the world’s foremost expert on cadaver canines, and was told that a dog trained to alert on human decomposition will also alert on human feces.

Where are Bones and Gerus when you need them, I opine..

What is not clear, is how Taco is practicing law in Missouri in the first place.  He is not currently licsened in the state of Missouri so he would have to be operating via an approved pro hac vice order of a local member of the state’s bar.

Let’s hope he gets up to speed quickly, as he is about to run into a learning curve in the road.

www.blinkoncrime.com has learned that although Taco et al has reported that Bradley and Irwin have consented to allow the children to be interviewed after declining for weeks,  they had little choice.

While not subject to public disclosure,  it is believed the children are the subject of an investigative subpoena.

Missouri is a unique state  in this regard, as it has the power to use this investigative tool in lieu of an actual grand jury if the state sees fit, and has little drawbacks- including the fact that it allows the prosecution to compel witnesses and evidence prior to filing any charges, and in some cases, prior to seeking an indictment.

Taco says he will call police next week to reschedule the children’s appointment for an interview, and buccal swabs.

Blink, I have read elsewhere that if someone could speak up and confirm that Deb was passed out drunk, it would really help her by giving her somewhat of an alibi.

So when we heard that Deb’s brother, Phil, was all of a sudden an overnight guest the night that Lisa disappeared-I thought, hmmm, handy for Deb….

    So two things:

One-is Deb’s brother lying to give her an alibi(she couldn’t have done anything officers-she was passed out drunk)?

Two-is Deb’s brother telling the truth and he actually stayed the night that night?

If he did stay there, what would be the purpose of that info not coming out sooner than this?

And, if he was there ALL night-now he could be in trouble, and would he take a fall for his sister-or did he himself do something to Lisa, or at least help with the fallout of whatever did happen?

Can’t authorities put the two boys in protective custody until it’s determined what happened to baby Lisa? Or would that be illegal? Seems like the boys are not living in a safe or healthy environment.

Not without an investigation based on cause, and not protective custody without a court determination doing so was in their best interests.

WG no worries. IMO opinion no connection. Rumor will as cyber rumor does, but IMO has no tie to the cousin. I see no connection here. These people are not of means, wealth, respect, or even a bit of prosperity. Why would a woman of her wealth, status and philanthropy suddenly swoop in to defend and be benefactors for this white trash family? Sorry Blink, but they are. This case reminds of the Cummings case in so many ways, with out the high priced lawyer. Not true, and not happening. Someone even mentioned on the internet that the cousin served on a BOARD with her. There is no charitable board here that connects them. So Preposterous. ABC is the culprit here, not some wealthy woman who married into an oil family of incredible wealth that just decided to fund Bill Stanton and Taco under the guise of of finding the perpetrators. These are greedy folks from a news station trying to get a story, on another mother that claims her child has been kidnapped for news worthy ratings. . This isn’t the TV show Dallas. Remember that one? ABC hopes so I know, but it is not. ABC needs to get a clue as to what the public wants to see. And it certainly is not the parents of baby Lisa and a TV journal of them, and it is certainty not about the attorney from New York professing their innocence. The public wants to know about justice for Lisa.
Still doesn’t matter, public is now losing interest in case…..hangover from the CA case might be influencing your ratings ABC. (Yawn)Hopefully show is over for the Irwins, and Debra Bradley. May we never see them again on TV until their has been an arrest. Do you think you can do that ABC?

dina- I am guessing you know I am not a fan of the term white trash. There is no question this family and it’s peripherals are of questionable judgement. I am using great restraint in that characterization.

However, I am sensitive that Lisa and her brothers are part of this family and I would ask that we consider that when speaking of them- they are innocents.

ABC, or any other news channel that is trying to hone in on making money, r boost your ratings, PLEASE do NOT ever put up anything concerning the parents, or their extended family interviews. What the PUBLIC REALLY wants to hear is where baby Lisa is, and you can do that with profilers, possible LE and or FBI interviews. You are very very mistaken if you think that the public wants to hear even one utter from Debra Bradley. We have heard enough. We need to find this baby. Let’s concentrate on that and not so much the NY attorney, or the parents.

SB claims she left the Irwin home (I’m assuming with her daughter) around 10:30 because Deborah was ready to go to bed. If Deborah had been drinking wine steadily since 5:30, this would sound about right — she’d be well-wasted and super tired.

Neighbor then chats outside with another neighbor (I’m assuming with her 4yro daughter — bless her heart that kid keeps some late hours) and it’s been reported that she sees all lights out in Irwin home before she goes inside (11:30) — makes sense because Deborah’s ready to pass out and wants to go to bed quickly. Were the boys already asleep at the point, or does she tell them it’s bedtime and rounds them up for the bedtime routine? In any event, she doesn’t check on Lisa. She may have initially mentioned checking her at 10:30, b/c this is what time she went to bed and it’s something she SHOULD have done, but I suspect she didn’t.

Around this time is when she, according to People Magazine, expects her husband to return home. Of course she’s not worried that he’s not because she’s passed out drunk.

Something then happens or is discovered around 2:00-2:30 in the morning. I highly suspect this time, because it is reasonable to assume that if she consumed THAT much alcohol, she would be good and dehydrated, and may have woken up around this time pretty thirsty. I don’t think she “checked on Lisa” at this time, but may have found something out of place in the kitchen or something alarming that caused her to be spooked and start turning on the lights and walking around. Was someone in the house at this time and they were startled by and quickly hid from Deborah? Did Deborah just leave the lights on, too pooped to bother, when she was crawled back into bed? Or maybe Lisa was taken from the home already by this point, prompting the 2:30 call?

If this is the case, then the police surely questioned him that morning when they arrived. If not, why would he leave the house with all the chaos going on, and more importantly, why would the parents not mention him at all? This is something I have been curious about for some time – the additional cell phone Debbie got the day before Lisa’s disappearance. Here is a quote her dad left on the FB page for finding Lisa on Oct 7 at 6:00 PM, which he later deleted.

Was Debbie’s cell phone really malfunctioning? Did picking up an old “plain jane” cell phone serve a purpose for the following day on Oct 3 when Lisa disappeared? How could she transfer service to this phone when they reportedly had not paid the bill? Was this phone still on her grandfather’s plan?

    Your thoughts on this?

Here is a quick note about the 3 missing cell phones. Debbie’s cell phone had been acting up and the speakers and microphone on it were continually only working intermittently. So Sunday October 2 when Debbie, Jeremy, Blake, Michael, and Lisa came over to Debbie’s grandparents (My Mom and Dad) house to celebrate Blake’s birthday my Dad gave Debbie his old plain jane phone that has NO way to collect contact information on it. Debbie transferred the service from her old phone to the one that my Dad (her Grandpa) gave her. “When she went home later that night she had both of her phones out and started copying numbers one by one into the phone she got from her Grandpa. She didn’t get them all done of course so she left them on the table.” Jeremy’s PERSONAL cell phone was also on the table. These 3 phones were the ones that were stolen.

Did someone already mention this topix post regarding the Halloween party?
    http://www.topix.com/forum/city/dyersburg-tn/TU89FIR5OP3F39I43/p3

The party was held at Dyersburg Country Club (golf course). I had originally heard the child(sick) was at a sleepover or all night Halloween party–so that’s a correction.

I can now understand that Karen may have taken the children home and wanted to go back out again. David may not have appreciated that, but then again she could have been attacked by someone from the party. Not likely a random criminal would be on the road near her home at that hour.

Here’s the map for home and the party location:
    http://g.co/maps/bdrd3

    Word Girl-

Excellent clarification, is this in “The Farms” subdivision? The thing for me is, the child was under the impression that she was sleeping with Mom. Now, I agree that could be a childs perception, but I find it highly unlikely that a Halloween party and sleepover is being held at a country club into the wee hours like that. Access closes down when staff clocks out, and if alcohol is served, would still fall under LCB rules of the jurisdiction.

I go back to the finding of the vehicle and the initial, since changed feelings from Dyer county SO about there seeing no foul play. That reads.. we have no earthly idea how the tire was flat like that to start, and moreover, could not be a slow leak scenario.

I believe items of hers were found, and expect to hear same. It is noteworthy if that is correct, that LE is not stating visual confirmations from anyone in her immediate family. I cannot say I am surprised, but I do fear this announcement.

The grand jury that was seated at the time of Lisa’s disappearance through at the very least October 18, has reviewed evidence in this case, without question. Now, if a special gj was convened following the sitting gj which had been suspended or whatever, I do not know. It is unlikely that reporters would be told if the news stations had been subpoened for additional footage if this is the case, for the most part, the subpoenas come from the investigators from the SA office, and they very specifically include verbiage of confidentiality.

I am of the opinion it is possible the gj was suspended on the 18th for tactical reasons I agree with.

For the record, grand juries are at the disposal of the prosecutor or ADA, whatever the origin statutes dictate.
In other words, they are not “waiting” unless the ADA suspends them, or they are looking at multiple cases and go back to this one, which is possible. They are an investigative tool of the prosecution and should and will be used accordingly. Iirc, there are only a few states that do not use them at all in criminal cases, and I absolutely believe they are about to be vastly popular with the state, given the CSI effect we are all seeing.

Contested requests via subpoena would come from the contesting party’s legal representation through the form of a court filing/motion where the party/attorney has to make their case in court for not wanting to comply with a subpeona, no?

Hi Blink, While I had always enjoyed reading your blog in the past, I have to say over the past year or so, I have difficulty reading through the snark and figuring out the writers satirical humor from the truth of the story. It may be just me, but I was wondering if you could try for a clearer presentation of the facts. I just don’t always understand your humor and have to re-read an article a few times to comprehend what is being said.

    @ Allison, Nov. 7, 9:16 am…

I just read that article too and found it interesting. However, I didn’t take away from it that the “possible suspect” that they refer to repeatedly in the article is the neighbor. I thought that they were very careful not to reveal his identity. Did I miss something in the article or did you get this information somewhere else?

Also, can you provide a link to your source for the fact that the motorcyclist picked the neighbor out of a line up?

BlackPearl- excellent questions. The neighbor has been cleared. I am referring to the husband.

Abeyta’s messianic self-description & 1000 mi drive to tutor strangers strike me as a personality disorder, at a minimum, whatever his sad loss 25 years ago.

    God, Blink. You slay me.

Well what could be more truth and less snark, lol?

Lordy have mercy, Blink, with the cases you have been through in the past few years and an ever changing list of trolls and your true bluers, any follower would expect changes. Just hanging around and reading, I have learned so much and that has helped me have a better understanding of the law and advocacy. Thank you, Blink, you are doing great. I know you do not like just basic commenting, ha, I will try to abstain, ha.

    Thanky, friend

Off Topic but this story is disturbing: Sky Metalwala, 2 yrs old missing.
    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/11/07/fbi-joins-search-for-missing-2-year-old-washington-boy/

    *******
Agreed that it doesn’t sound right. I cannot imagine leaving a two year old in the car alone. The four year old could walk and surely she could have carried the toddler, even if he was sleeping. Why take one, but leave the other??? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!

The neighbor said he left his home and didn’t know where to go so he “drove around” before crashing at a friends place.

Wow, too bad he didn’t have a baby with an earache in the back to blame for the aimless driving. (If you followed the Kyron Horman case you know what I’m talkin’ about)

Don’t know if he’s involved but the coincidence made my stomach drop.

Certainly is much going on in that row of houses that day.

Blackpearl-this article is what made of think Samantha Brando husband aka the neighbor was the suspect they were referring to. http://www.examines.com/crime-in-national/lisa-irwin-case-witness-who-saw-man-with-baby-says-he-resembles-neighbor#maincontent

Allison, that link did not work

And it goes on and on…another missing child.

You have got to be kidding me. She left the 2 year old? Are these people really that stupid? I’m with Essay Kaye, who said Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

But I digress. Where is Lisa?

This child was no more left in that car then I was. She will be arrested for some sort of neglect charge and ultimately confess.

Not sure if you will post this or not but it just makes me sick!! And I wouldn’t put it on here except I saw reference to this on an earlier post, I fell for it for a day or two until I figured it out…seemed way to familiar. The Justice for Lisa Irwin FB page is a fraud….seems Tony Calabrese is at it again…..I’m sure some of you are familiar with the problems he has caused with the Holly Bobo case. Why do people do this???? Anyways, I’d call him out on FB but he will just delete it, seems he deletes and blocks anyone who questions him. Blink, isn’t there some sort of law he is breaking? I guess not…
