Portland, OR– late today, through his attorney, Kaine Horman filed contempt of court charges against Terri Horman for showing a previously sealed restraining order to childhood friend of Kaine’s, Michael Cook.

In his motion, he also accused Terri of “sexting” messages to Cook from her cell phone. Cook and Horman exchanged racy and graphic sexual messages back and forth since June 30th.

Michael Cook is best known for organizing the first vigil for Kyron Horman on June 7th and speaking briefly to reporters as he ran errands and stocked food and beverages for those in the home when Kyron first went missing.

Open Letter of Support and Plea to Terri Horman

Ms. Horman-

We have not met, but I almost feel I know you from the abundance of kind and loving photos of your family I have seen in our efforts to help locate your step-son Kyron. I am personally not a fan of the word “step” in relation to blended families, especially given how long this wonderful child has been cared for by you in a maternal role. 

I know you have been active in reviewing the coverage of Kyron’s case, and I can’t help but feel that it must be horrible and terrifying to not be able to defend yourself against some of the things being said. I am hopeful you feel that you have been treated fairly in our work here.

“I believe respondent (Terri) is involved in the disappearance of my son Kyron who has been missing since June 4, 2010”

The grim words of Kaine Horman as they appeared in the restraining order filed against his estranged wife, Terri Moulton Horman, were unsealed yesterday. 

It was the start of developments beginning to weave a portrait of Terri Horman, from the eyes of her husband and Kyron Horman’s biological Mother, Desiree Young.

“I thought the marriage was doing pretty well,” Kaine Horman said during a one-on-one interview with The Oregonian, “until we had our daughter, Kiara.”

Declining to elaborate, rumors of Terri Horman suffering from bouts of post partum depression following the birth of the couples 19 month old daughter have been swirling since the case began.

Portland, OR– Early this evening, Stephen Houze, prominent Portland criminal defense attorney leveled the playing field.

He is representing Terri Horman, step-mom of missing child Kyron Horman.

The announcement comes on the heels of the filing of divorce by her estranged husband Kaine, and inside sources that state her arrest is imminent.

Portland, OR– Late this evening, blinkoncrime.com has learned from a source close to Terri Horman that she expects to be arrested at anytime on possible charges related to endangering the welfare of a child.

It is not known if those charges are related to the disappearance of her 7 year old step-son Kyron Horman, or her daughter, Kiara Horman, 18 months.

Following the filing of the and restraining order by Kaine Horman, Terri’s estranged husband and Kyron and Kiara’s Father, the restraining order was subsequently sealed by the court on Monday.

However, under Oregon law, for primary custody to be awarded without mutual agreement in this phase, an emergency ex-parte order must be filed. That requires a fairly heavy burden in the immediate threat area.

Portland, OR-Over the last week, much information has been developed about the extended families of Kaine and Terri Horman, and the circumstances with which Kyron came to reside primarily with them, visiting Mom and step-dad Desiree and Tony Young on monthly visits.

One thing that is not clear however, is how Terri Moulton Horman’s oldest son, 16 year old James, came to live with his maternal grandparents after living with the Horman’s until this past January. He now lives with his biological father who gave up his rights to him to Terri’s second husband, who stills pays child his support.

He is believed to have been on a Boy Scout camping trip with his father Ron Tarver and his half-siblings the weekend Kyron went missing.
