Channahon, Ill– Sadly, neither the Peterson or Stebic families will be receiving the much needed closure by the discovery of their loved one’s remains.
The remains pulled from the banks of the Des Plaines River by the Big Basin Marina, are that of an as yet unidentified male. Illinois State Police are witholding his identity based on notification of family.
Philadelphia, PA– Police have recovered video evidence at Philadelphia International Airport indicating Bonnie Sweeten, and 9 year old Julia Rakoczy, previously thought to be abducted, are now in Orlando, Florida.
Following almost 28 hours of multiple Law Enforcement agencies engaged in an all out man hunt for Sweeten and her daughter following her 911 calls alleging they had been kidnapped and in the trunk of the family car, the gig is up.
Although Sweeten used a fake ID and cash to purchase two one way tickets to Orlando International Airport yesterday, immediately following her calls to 911. It has been discovered that Ms. Sweeten is also a notary public, which would make it very easy to falsify an identity.
Sources close to the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime that Sweeten has a prior arrest record, and has recently been accused of embezzling over $300,000 through her work at The Carltiz Foundation, located in New Hope, PA. Sweeten was the asisstant to the founder.
The Carlitz Foundationwas founded by Debra Carlitz. Ms. Carlitz is a Pennsylvania attorney who in 2008 was given a one year suspension from the PA Supreme Court overseeing the PA bar for one year. Calls to the office of Ms. Carlitz were not returned.

Columbia, Ill– Warrants outlining the chilling moments during the discovery of the bodies of Sheri Coleman, 31, her sons Garett 11, and Gavin 9, were unsealed today. Two letters containing threatening remarks that were sent to the Coleman home, were also released.
The search warrants were unsealed on a judges order in response to a Belleville News-Democrat request filed last week in Monroe County Circuit Court.
According to the court documents, contained within a report by Columbia Police Sgt. Jason Donjon, the first threat letter sent to the Coleman home, arrived January 1, 2009.
The contents reveal it was written to threaten an unnamed woman, presumably Sheri Coleman, and Chris Coleman’s apparent “protection” of her. Letter Excerpt:
“(Expletive)! Deny your God publicly or else! No more opportunities. Time is running out for you and your family.”
The letter, dated Jan. 1, referred to someone traveling to Asia, but doesn’t refer to anyone by name. Sheri Coleman participated in missionary trips to southeast Asia, including Cambodia.
“Have a good time in India (expletive)!” the letter concluded.
The second letter, dated April 27, 2009, also arriving at the Coleman home:
“I am giving you the last warning! You have not listened to me and you have not changed your ways. I have warned you to stop traveling and stop carrying on with this fake religious life of stealing people’s money.”
The letter referred to an unnamed woman.
“You think you are so special to do what you do protecting or think you are protecting her. She is a b*tch and not worth doing it. Stop today or else. I know your schedule. … This is my last warning. Your worst nightmare is about to happen!”
Undoubtedly, the most grisly revelations were contained within the report from the first scene responders of the Columbia Police Department. Detective Justin Barlows account from the scene:
“After searching the first level of the house and finding no one, we went upstairs to the second story. … As I walked up the stairs, I looked to my left and saw a white female, lying on her stomach,” Detective Justin Barlow wrote. Barlow found the body of Sheri Coleman naked, and face down.
“I saw she did not have any clothes on,” Barlow’s report said. “I yelled: ‘Columbia Police’ and she did not move. I called for an ambulance.’”
Barlow described red spray paint “…all over the walls on the first story.”
The officer said he tried to determine whether Sheri Coleman was alive, and noticed that rigor mortis had set in, which usually occurs within two to three hours, according to experts.
“I attempted to slightly roll her over in order to see her eyes and check for breathing. I noticed when I lifted her shoulder, her head and neck moved also. It appeared rigor mortis had set in. I noticed the skin of her chest and head appeared purple,” Barlow reported.
Within a few moments, according to Barlow’s report, a fellow officer shouted, “There are a total of three victims.”Barlow wrote in his report that he walked to the rear of an upstairs bedroom, “…and saw a younger boy lying on his bed. I checked for a pulse on the younger boy but found none. I also noticed his face appeared slightly purple.”
Also contained in the search warrants was a greeting card, found in the glove box of Colemans Green Ford Bronco, from a St. Petersburg, FL address that corresponds with that of the woman police have interviewed in their case against Chris Coleman. Also in the glove box, was an email for a bill for a Columbia PO Box from July, 2008, and a receipt for payment of same? (editors note: seems pretty dumb for someone who has gone to such an elaborate ruse to hide his crime to leave the proverbial smoking gun in his glove box. Perhaps Sheri confronted him with it and he forgot he stashed it in there, or perhaps he was unaware it was in there in the first place)
Speaking on condition of anonymity, a source within the Investigative Team has confirmed to blinkoncrime that the orange twine, found by detectives at the western end of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge, as indicated in an affidavit filed by Detective Karla Heine, matches that of similar twine found on 4 hay bales in the rear of the Coleman home.
Feasterville, PA– As the investigation into the alleged abduction of Bonnie Sweeten, 38, and her daughter, 9 year old Julia Rakoczy enters it’s second full day; investigators have more questions than answers.
Sweetens former husband and Julia’s Father, Anthony Rakoczy appeared this morning on NBC’s the Today Show and Good Morning America. He had last seen his daughter on Memorial Day.
“I’m still in shock,” he said on NBC’s Today show. “She’s a great mother.”
“I was thinking that this is not real, that this is stuff you see on TV.” He described Sweeten as very organized, on top of her children’s many activities, and as someone with no known enemies. “I don’t understand why anyone would want to keep them,” he said. “Just let them go.”
Yesterday, at approximately 1:47PM, Bonnie Sweeten called 911 and reported her and her daughter Julia were forced into a late 90’s model, dark colored Cadillac following a “fender bender” on Street Road and Central Avenue while exchanging insurance information. Sweeten claimed 2 black males forced them into the trunk, where she was also calling them from. In her initial call, she told police the child was with her. Where it becomes unclear, is that in her subsequent calls, she changes her account and states her daughter is in the rear of the Denali. Police were able to trace the initial and subsequent calls to the same cell tower in Center City.
UPDATE II- BOTH VEHICLES HAVE BEEN RECOVERED, NO SIGN OF SWEETEN OR JULIA RAKOCZY, 8. SWEETEN CALLED 911 A TOTAL OF 7 TIMES BEFORE HER CELL WAS SHUT OFF LAST NIGHT. THE SEARCH FOR MOM AND DAUGHTER CONTINUES.
Update I- The 2005 Gold Denali was located at 1:30am this morning, with a parking ticket on the windshield, within 2 blocks of the last cell phone signal of Bonnie Sweeten. Julia Rakoczy, 8, reported to be inside the vehicle by her mother to 911 operators following her abduction, was not located.
Southampton, PA– Mother and daughter, Bonnie Sweeten and 8 year old Julia Rakoczy, were abducted during a carjacking this afternoon off of Route 132, Street Road, in Southampton, PA.
PA state Police have issued an Amber Alert for the little girl in accordance with Amber Alert regulations.
Folks- this is about an emergency situation as one gets.
Police were called to the scene this afternoon at approximately 2 PM, following an alleged accident involving the Gold 2005 Yukon driven by Sweeten, and a 1990’s model Cadillac.
Sweeten told 911 dispatchers two black males exited the Cadillac, and forcibly placed Bonnie into the late model Cadillac, where she used her cell phone to call police from the trunk; and her daugher Julia was placed in the trunk of the Denali.
Police are also looking for the Cadillac involved in the accident. Neither vehicle was located as Police arrived this afternoon.
