Missing Woman (UPDATED PICS) Tracy Ocasio Suspect James Hataway: DARK MYSPACE OF Vader McGirth
Ocoee, FL– Missing Ocoee woman Tracy Ocasio, 27, left the Florida Taproom Bar in Orlando shortly after 1 am on May 27th with James Virgil Hataway. That is the last time anyone has seen or spoken to the stunning brunette friends call a “diehard” magic fan.
Blinkoncrime.com has uncovered photos that reflect a snapshot of a man that spends most of his time on binge-benders.
James Hataway, currently in Orange County Jail on a bond revocation for an April Criminal mischief charge fancies himself as a modern day pirate apparently. 
His myspace, or alter Ego Vader McGirth, is intent to let his “Yarr” shine.
Perhaps the most haunting picture is that of Jimmy Hataway on the job as he is dredging a pond of debris.
I am not an expert, but I do believe the woman pictured in the green tank on the right is Rachael Clark; She has alleged that Hataway attacked her last August following a ride home at his request.
Hataway is also a person of interest in the disappearance of Onda Chris George, and police are investigating several reports of alleged other female victims.
Rather than give you the guided tour with my subjective narrative, decide for yourselves.

LOL! Blink, I really like your blog. Your investigative reporting is top notch and the inside information you come up with gets to the heart of the matter. The TV News shows don’t cover 1/10th of what you do and they’re irritatingly repetitive.
The two “new” visitors complaining and insulting you and your readers don’t understand the world they’re living in or the dangerous acquaintenances they socialize with. That they would come here, to your crime blog, to whine about the way they’re being depicted is ridiculous. If they don’t like their reputations then they need to change their lives. I used some pretty strong descriptions for them to ponder. Let’s face it, partying, getting high or getting drunk, aren’t productive ways to contribute to society or the betterment of mankind. They have no right to complain about the photos, you didn’t mention any names. If they recognize themselves, they should be ashamed, not pissed off that their characters look less than honorable. Kim, I don’t think you know Hataway as much as you think you do. He apparently thinks he is a pirate, as he judges his moods as a pirate on myspace and uses their lingo, such as Yarr. And he does sport a eye patch in one of his pictures.
Also, what do you know about him getting stabbed in the gut? Are you privy to his kidnapping charge as a juvenile? I am reading from you that your idea of defending a friends honor out is breaking knuckles.
You deserve all the speculation you will get in this case.
What makes you think you are immune to his attacks? You call people bored….there are people everywhere, trying to figure out what woods are waters Hataways left his last victim in. Has Tracy’s time run out? Is that boring to you? IT took me a few mins to calm down after your post.
I can tell by looking at him that he wanted to give you a choke hold when you leaned into him like he was some kind of teddy bear. There are some things you see after you grow up.
I think he is the monster that killed Jennifer Kesse, it sure is looking like their paths crossed. Your buddy…you must be so proud.

I would like to change the subject a little bit and think about Tracy’s cell phone. Several articles have stated that Tracy or someone with Tracy’s phone made an outgoing phone call at 4:30 AM. The articles further state that police know who called but no other information was has been forthcoming. If there was call then the phone was powered on so the towers should have been able to record a location.
I have also read that the next call was an incoming call from Tracy’s mother Liz at 8:30 AM and that the call was unanswered but I believe it has been stated that it did ping near Hataway’s home. Was it near the car or 1/2 mile away near Hataway’s house? Was the phone powered on the entire time between 4:30 and 8:30 and if so, wouldn’t there be phone tower location records?
Now the phone is missing. Assuming whatever happened to Tracy happened before 8:30 AM when she was known to be missing; someone got rid of the phone after 8:30 AM. Hataway is claiming he hung out with his father when he got home from the bar that night but where was he after 8:30 the next morning? Was it a work day for him? Should the route to his work be search to look and see if he threw the phone out of the window of his car on the way to work? Of course, if he threw it in a dumpster it would have been emptied by now.
I’d be interested in hearing other theories about this.

Sadly, there is a + or minus margin of a 3 mi radius when analyzing ping records as an fyi. This occurs because of overflow causing piging to other towers, etc. Triangulation is the only way to get the closest. The phone was not powered off until 8:30am following the call from her Mother, Liz. They know who the call was to at 4:30am, but not who made up, just that it came from Tracy’s phone and there was no conversation. There could be alot of variables for this but I’ll save it as none of them are good. Police can only say for an absolute certainty that Tracys phone was in that area, not her definitively. For me, knowing cadaver dogs did not hit at her car or her house, the possibility that what happened to her did so elsewhere cannot be ruled out.

So, was the phone at 4:30 pinging off the same towers as at 8:30 when Liz called, right before the phone was turned off? And since he cadaver dogs did not hit on the location where Tracy’s car was found or in the car itself, then whatever happened to Tracy happened away from that location. Since Hataway doesn’t have a car, can we assume that Tracy drove or was forced to drive somewhere else and then maybe Hataway drove her car back to near his house? If that was the case, why wouldn’t the cell phone pings show different towers. Am I being slow here?
No, not slow, we just cant verify it was Tracy and not her car/phone. Hataway has admitted to her being at his home, it cannot be ruled out at this point. There is one thing really bugging me. Who takes a polly that is a suspect in a missing woman’s case, was already questioned in the disappearance of a man, and is on bond for a felony, when they know they will fail? That makes no sense to me. Lastly, watch the video again, notice the man leaving right after them?

Hey Blink, The video of the man leaving right after them is quick and unclear. Luckily we have friends and relatives here of Tracey and Hataway that post here. Someone should be able to ID him fairly quick.
Also, Toole is very quiet and flying below radar recently. I thought they were tight?
blink: thanks for all your info and for info from your commenters. This Hataway may be one of those who thinks he is so cool he can fool the polygraph machine. Quick question: how soon can cadaver dogs pick up on a scent? Doesn’t there have to be some element of decomp? I have been wondering this for some time. Maybe those ex-friends of Hataway who are so offended now by their inclusion on his myspace page will do the right thing and help these investigations go forward. They need to decide if they are part of the crime or part of the solution.
Red, I thought Toole was in jail for failing to register as a sex offender. Could be wrong. Anyway, at this point, after reading all Hataway’s fellow priates defend him, (sickos) I am beginning to believe he didn’t act alone. If he did, he told all his friends about his mayhem and they sat back and laughed their asses off. Sociopaths will take a polly knowing they’ll fail because they’re arrogant. It’s a known fact that Tracy was at Jimmy’s house that night. Just because cadaver dogs didn’t turn up anything doesn’t mean there wasn’t a crime committed there. Take into consideration the young woman from Casselberry’s account of what happened to her. If it was the same M.O. cadaver dogs wouldn’t find anything unless he buried the body somewhere on the property.
Speaking of the young woman from Casselberry… I believe it is in poor taste to identify her. You never know what kind of danger that could potentially put that young woman in. There’s a reason she didn’t want any of the news stations releasing her name and/or picture.
First off, I may agree with you that a crime was committed at Hataway’s house. However, your completely off base on the cadaver dogs not hitting unless she was buried there. If she died in that house, they would hit. If she died in the car, they would hit. I caveat that by saying I dont know what k9′s they used, but if they used OCSO I stand by my comment. I have seen their work personally and met their handlers.
Lastly, your incorrect about identifying Rachel Clarke. WFTV announced her name first, and its my understanding it was because she was looking to file a new complaint, which btw, would require her name to be released if requested, under Florida Law. Lastly, if she wanted to remain anonymous, she may wish to to not publish the situation within her comments on her non-private myspace. I think Hataway is a scumbag thug. That’s been evidenced to me in photos, the rest, we will have to learn as the investigation continues.

Unbelievable! The video shows the same photos those two friends of Jimmy were bitching about. For crying out loud, they were splashed all over Orlando Television news broadcasts. This story is huge news in Florida and all those lowlifes are concerned about are themselves. When two women are missing? Bad character, complete trash.
How am I incorrect about identifying Rachel Clarke? Just because WFTV announced her name first means you should to? No one should announce her name. If she isn’t smart enough to see the potential danger she’s putting herself in with her myspace comments she has no one to blame but herself.
Explain to me (and also forgive me for being graphic) but hypothetically speaking say he snapped that poor girl’s neck. What would the cadaver dogs pick up on? If as has been suggested he may not have acted alone, perhaps there was another vehicle used other than Tracy’s. I’d like to know if his father’s truck was present at the time of the cadaver dog search. Knowing what Jimmy did for work, if he were going to dispose of something, wouldn’t it be easier to use a truck, rather than a small car? His father is completely deaf. It’s not as if he would hear someone taking his vehicle in the middle of the night while he slept.
We disagree on Clarke. She gave an interview to 6 news agencies in a state with the laxest privacy laws in the country and chronicled it on her public myspace. Additionally prosecutors are saying she did not respond to their requests after her initial filing so the matter was dropped. I am making zero judgements on her. You cant seriously think you can dictate what facts of a case are reported. That will not happen here, with the exception that if I have information that may be proprietary, it goes to LE first, always. That you can count on.
On the k9 issue there are a variety of scenarios that can still implicate Hataway, even though there is no k9 evidence onsite currently. The manner of death per se, does not dictate whether or not a cadaver dog picks up on the putricide and cadaverene the body begins to produce at the cessation of a heart beat. HOWEVER, in an incident where there is blood evidence or body fluids at a scene, it will continue to decompose rapidly and yes, would always attract a “hit” faster to a cadK9. That said, sans that evidence on scene, the basic standard is that within about an hour of death, a well trained cadk9 will “hit”. In short, basically becasuse the presence of the scent to a trained k9 activated their human equivalent to our fight or flight response, or “dog adrenaline” as it were.
I dont know how many more times I need to say this, but here goes. If I were onscene, I would be organizing an aquatics team following drone aerials of course, on Starke Lake. It has been the location for “bike week” frequented by a great deal of these asociated guys and gals for a few years, and locals tell me there is alot of “illegal riding” of dirtbikes and ATVS as well. If after this amount of time, there are no leads as to Tracy’s wherabouts, aerials and satellite ( will not be available until 6/27 or 7/27 depending) should have been ordered already. I am being told by the scene that over the wooded areas there is no fowl activity, that can only mean she is alive somewhere, buried or in water, imo. I apologize in advance as to the specificity of my response, but this women needs to be found.

I couldn’t agree more that this woman needs to be found. Unfortunately Jimmy will never crack. That much I know. Also, Stark Lake would be fairly hard to have “illegal riding” at based on two things. Ocoee Police Dept. is located directly in front of Stark Lake. Secondly, there’s nothing to ride there. It’s located in the historic district of Ocoee so it’s located on on an old, torn up, brick road. There’s no dirt to ride there either. There’s absolutely no off road terrain to ride there on a dirt bike, or an ATV. Go to google maps, and look at the sattelite yourself if you don’t believe me. Being a local of no less than 25 years, I would say the people you are talking to are misinforming you. In fact, I used to live about a block off of Stark Lake, and in all the years I lived there, I never once saw any sort of so-called “Bike Week” gathering at the lake. I saw numerous wedding receptions, people fishing, and the occasional wave runner out on the lake. Jimmy may be a monster, but he’s not an idiot. Of all the places that guy knows of to dispose of things, a lake located literally yards from Ocoee P.D., and Ocoee City Hall would most likely be one of the last places he would go. That’s a complete, and utter waste of time.

I think LE knows how to establish an initial perimeter, but I also think they better “engage”. Time is of the essence.
Not to be an ass, but this is not my first case. One thing I will say emphatically, is that Occam’s razor applies to most.
People think “he would never be that dumb” or he would do this or that. Think about something. Think about how straight thinking a normal or even “under the influence person would be”. There is no evidence this guy is a calculated sociopath. By definition he was drunk or high most of the time, so that theory cant apply. I think you have a great idea, don’t get me wrong. I would change the location to Lake Apopka which is roughly 10 times the size of Starke Lake, just minutes from where he lived, and accessible right where Chris George’s vehicle was found in the woods. In reality, all of it needs to be searched, but I would start with Lake Apopka before Starke Lake.
Point taken, and as a local, you may be right, regardless, I say search them both, just get started.

Ironically, Starke, Florida is most likely where Jimmy will end up considering that’s where one of the largest Maximum Security Prisons (and Florida’s Death Row) is located.

My previous post wasn’t actually posted. For the record, Starke Florida where the Bikefest is is about 130 miles from Starke Lake in Ocoee, FL. The two have nothing to do with one another. As I said, there’s never been a Bikefest at Starke Lake in Ocoee. If you look at the links you posted by the Chamber of Commerce, they’re for NORTH Florida. Ocoee, and this entire case is based around CENTRAL Florida.
For the record, I’ve known Jimmy since 1994, and the person pictured with the swastika behind him isn’t Jimmy.

This aggravated battery charge must be for Rachel. Still not good enough, in my opinion. I would insist on attempted murder. Hataway needs to be put away for life..not just a few years. Shame on the State Atty. Must be related to Brad King, another pencil pushing doofus.
A Battery becomes an Aggravated Battery if “during the commission of a battery, he/she: Intentionally or knowingly causes great bodily harm, permanent disability, or permanent disfigurement; or Uses a deadly weapon. Also, a person commits aggravated battery if the victim of the battery was pregnant at the time of the offense and the offender knew or should have known that the victim was pregnant.”
An Aggravated Battery is a second degree felony, which has a maximum penalty of 15 years in jail and a $10,000 fine. FL Criminal Statute §784.045

Lake Apopka is MASSIVE. It’s mostly surrounded by wooded area with houses scattered about. This is why I suggested Lake Apopka over Starke Lake which is completely wide open. You literally cannot see across Lake Apopka. It borders the cities of Apopka, Ocoee, and Winter Garden. Depending on where you’re at really dictates the edge of the lake.

Also, I’m not sure who posted it, but Jimmy isn’t from Tampa. He is from the Orlando area which is where he grew up. However, he lived in Hillsburough County (Tampa) for a short time back around 1993. And yes, the kidnapping charge did involve his mother though I don’t know the specifics of the case, so won’t comment further on it. I do know his mother was never pleasant towards me, or anyone else I knew at the time. Jimmy’s father is a very kind hearted man, though.

That I don’t know. Nor do I know the person in the picture. The only reason I was trying to clarify is because whomever that is shares some similarities with Jimmy (shaved head, tattoos, etc). I guess I shouldn’t say for sure that it wasn’t Jimmy’s pad. I know it’s not the place over off of Lyle St. I don’t know who that is, where it was taken, or anything other than it is not Jimmy. It very well could be somewhere that Jimmy lived at some point.
